The alchemist is a minor npc, so he has his own stats

Alchemical lab: 8

Bird Mutation: 10

Neverending lust: 8

As he's a different character to fight him you'll engage in contests. We'll discuss those more as we play on.

So i suppose this is an opportunity for finley to break out, since knowing that alchemist looks worse than a literal corpse without the effect of elixirs takes away from how it is to be fuck/be fucked by a beast/moster.

body d6 - 5

Artificer d8 - 8

and maybe predatory species since he could probably bite through leather belts once he gets his teeth to them.

May i get an asset that is something like "Another attempt"?

At this point the alchemist is a monster even without any active elixir working on him, due to the large amount of mutations he has.

Since you're not opposing the alchemist with this roll, you'll roll against the doom pool. A failure here would mean Finley still breaks free, but might be doused in some aphrodesiac or something. There might be an argument for a "bound" stress track, but we'll keep it simple for now.

Difficulty of 13, effect of 4, with an opportunity.

Both small or predator could help here, depending on how you narrate the escape.

Well i plan to narrate it as him chewing through the leather straps ince his hand are free, because i meant him to be small, but still human size, like 5'8", so small would seem rather unfitting imo.

Still, may i get an asset that goes along the lines of finley having few escape attempts before?

I don't understand how that is an asset? I believe you must spend a plot point to create an asset. Though I guess if you really want you can use multiple attempts as a d8 asset?

Nevermind I just got it. You mean like escape experience!

So i rolled a 6 with this asset and 3 with predator trait.

In the result, i use 6 and 8 for a roll, which ends up with 14 and use the d8 with a 3 for the effect. 5 on d6 just gets thrown away. Where does that leave me?

I just want to make sure that i can narrate finley's actions in a way that would align with a result, so there is no situation like "no you dont"

so I was about to post but wanted to make sure my rolls are fine
im intending for an almost jack sparrow style sword fight, half jumping around him, half hopping onto furniture nearby, with a lot of close calls

currently i have body (D10 rolled 5) rogue (D8 rolled 5) and adrenaline junkie (effect die D8 rolled 2) as my rolls

how do I do?

He's going to use his lab and his mutation, and borrow some favour from the wizard.

He does pretty poorly, no 1s  though, but his best result is a 9 with an effect of d10.

Which means you succeed

So you give him a d8 of stress, because that's your optimal effect die, either wounds, arousal, or maybe rage. Either way narrate how you succeed and we'll determine what kind of stress you give him.

...ooc I am not the biggest fan of lewding this particular NPC, so im leaning towards trying to injure him. currently my plan is to wound him a few times and then when I would "win" the encounter stab down into his shoulder well using the sword as a pole vault almost to get to the other side... that all said that feels like it fits better when he takes a hit or two... a little more injured before I do any big moves
