-------------------------------------------------------------

It has been a few weeks, but also one of the most grueling, gruesome and gritty ones for the population of the human realm and Heaven, as the Lords of Terror has begun their invasion of these realms, set on total domination.
Luckily, there are still great people out there who are able to make a difference in these troubling times and who are eager to take up the mantle and do their part in their own special ways, both in terms of combat as well as amassing lore, knowledge and by using their arcane powers in the name of good.

Among these mortal souls, is the young and very capable Leah, who is the granddaughter of the legendary and revered Deckard Cain, whom have already faced off a former, but lesser invasion before this one. Sadly, Deckard was slain early on and from that point on, it has fallen upon the lesser experienced Leah to take his role as a mentor, scholar and magician to help the other warriors of the earth realm to vanquish the hordes of Hell and the Lords that rule over them.

Out on a shorter - and you would think safer - journey for a long lost tome, Leah has made her way to an older village where there are both survivors as well as information to be found on this time, she finds herself ambushed. She has dispatched some minor grunts that were no match, but had no idea they were mere bait for any hero who wanted to come to this village's aid. Thus, she is now faced with two giant, roaring and very dangerous beastmen who has their eyes set upon harming her.

Thankfully, out of the blue, an even louder, angrier roar is heard as the large, bulking and scantily clad barbarian jumps out of nowhere and into the middle of the fray. She gives Leah a short look and merely mutter a quick "duck". As Leah does so, the large, strong female in tribalistic clothing begin to swing her body rapidly, her two gigantic axes twirling like some sort of meat grinder as she proceeds to carve the demons into large chunks of flesh, blood and organs. She only stops when the final demon falls dead to the ground, at which point she sheathes her weapons once more.

She sighs in relief and an unexpected huge smile is painted across her face and she turns to look at Leah. A firm hand reaches out for the young scholar and mage."You okay there girl? Good thing I came by when I did", she says in a very caring, sweet tone of voice.
