Having an itch for eggcracking again, I guess as part of current ideas so bumping this. -
Hi there! I recently saw the ad for Disney's Hoppers and I wanted to try an come up with a plot for it! Basically, what if a human plugged into a beaver to learn about animals and understand them, only to end up in a relationship with another beaver or animal? What would occur when he inevitably has to explain he's a human? Or, alternatively, what if he learns about how animals' relationships are hollow, aromantic and purely for reproduction? Either way, if you're interested, feel free to reach out! I'd love to write something more plot based, myself and am a descriptive writer. I wanted to leave this a bit open so we could discuss it further -

The game doesn't actually ban having two copies of a playbook but it stops just short of it. I have allowed it once but it mostly sucked so I do ban players using the same playbook. And destroyed all the corporations and removed all the technology. Nothing left to hack, no cyberwear, no wealthy, ownership class - just a half remembered age of wealth and ease the oldsters told you about when you were little. What's left is the desicated corpse that barely feeds the maggots - carrion punk, maybe.

I like the idea of a continental size city. A city like that could have parks and other weird terrain features, while allowing for plenty of loot and strategically important landmarks. It also allows for plenty of spooky scary dark corridors and hallways and such. But then amusingly it's also then sort of like Cyberpunk if someone had shut off the lights.

That's a good question. One I might answer a little later. I read over the basic concept of each, but have to look over that describe how they play a little more closely. Also I only looked at the Extended one. Should probably look over the one in the basic reference book, assuming they are all options, since I see that one has other options. Will hopefully get that figured out today or by tomorrow night. Might try to cut down to a few top options, since I am guessing we want a variety, and see what others might want to do.

@SataiRolePlayingGuy, the reference sheet is enough. Battle moves, basic moves, road moves, and the moves in the playbooks are really all that you need. The vast majority of that is self explanatory. Have skimmed the playbooks, is there one that draws your eye? @Chiyako, I think I can work with @DreamsnThings' idea. It's pretty common in post-apocalyptic fiction to be rumors of havens of the old world left, if you can reach them and get them to let you in. What does the world on the ground look like? I went through the initial skim of the pdf I mentioned above. Will probably want to reread at least parts of it. That said, that was one of a few free pdfs, but I did see links on the site for a bigger one that had to be bought. Would that be required/recommended for what is being considered here? I'm willing to buy it, if it is, but thought I would check first.

@WritesNaughtyStoriesneuropa was the public example, but the miscommunications tend to be more frequent and more intense for whatever reason, souring me a bit on the idea... its just been bad luck for me xD ...as for what post apocalyptic setting sounds good... i kinda like the ruins of a grand civilization you mentioned... hell make it so the top .01% of society lives in flying cities and we are the dregs beneath them? A kinda "society has failed, the rich are gone along with everything of value, we are whats left, us and the trash" kinda vibe? I dunno, this is just my half asleep immediate thoughts...
