Being on ED doesn't only mean erotic dreams after all. I will consider maybe doing something later myself if I find the will to do so. Otherwise, oh well. The fox maid who was taking a look at the customers from her side of the club house, noticed the man greeting her. Arish bowed to return the greeting. "Welcome to Midnight Meetings. This realm, as you call it, is where you can find the lounge. Behind me are the open lounge where you may enjoy some time to relax by yourself or with someone.", she started to explain, albeit a little nervously as she tried to remember all of the details to tell a customer who may have these questions, "But if you prefer some more private time instead, you are welcome to visit the Neon Night: Rooms made specifically for personal and intimate needs.", Arish finished or so she believed, smiling to the man she was talking to. "I am here to answer all questions you may have about our services."

My character will gladly interact with anyone paying a visit there for any reason. See her like a NPC who is less like a bot, I suppose. As long as the theme of the thread is respected of course but nothing stops someone from paying a visit there for any reason if they have business there. We also have other employees in other sectors of the clubhouse who MAY be able to interact as well. Although, I cannot speak for them myself. I am simply hyperactive myself almost all the time. (Except for the usual sleep and busy for whatever phases.) I also see interactions with others as a form of practice for writing (Since I think I need it) so I personally encourage people to visit me with their characters even if only to say hello and discuss something for a post or two. Obviously, Arish is a working maid so she also can't spend ALL day talking but you get the idea. Only trying to encourage some activity. :3

In my sincere opinion, if you're stalled then I would see no reasons for you to not try to start something else for now and then when your partner comes back, you can resume with them. I know that we can't be at two places at once but these stories can also happen at two different times. It would not make sense that we lock someone out of roleplaying because of a partner in temporary leave status. As long as threads are not spammed but this kind of uncommon exception should be alright. This is how I see it to encourage people to roleplay more and not less within the club. A reminder as well that if you need a certain room or anything, (by example the lounge *cough cough*), I would encourage a small sfw visit there for an employee to take care of you before you set yourself up for a private time with a friend. This would serve as a small introduction and social moment as well as some activity happening in public spaces. It would be welcome.

I would do more but I already posted everywhere that I can for now and unless someone adds some participation, it will become difficult to do more. BUT if desperate, I will be adding more posts with my own character by herself until someone pays a visit. (not in a quick succession but like once per few days.) There was something about having employees keeping things up before even if no one was doing anything. I know there is a rule set by Adonia to not chain posts but that rule works better when having an actual partner because the basic roleplay standards require each participants to have enough time to post their reply before another comes up. THAT said, there is no real post at all now. This club honestly deserves more attention and I am not saying this because I am now co-leader but rather because Adonia's efforts with it should be recognized. There is also the fact that this club is not exactly fetish heavy and so not necessarily for a specific audience. Roleplayers can chill between each others as much as having quite some fun in "private" with duo threads. I believe what is required now is simply to make sure that the club remains active in order to encourage more users to participate into it. Any suggestions are good but we can't really force unwilling people to join if they don't want to, either. But anyway, this is my take on it for now. I will give it a moment before I re-activate Arish.

Guilty, I suppose. Sometimes, clothes can get hot or annoying. Just feeling free is sometimes a good feeling. The next poster will have a collection of trading cards somewhere.

Not guilty. But god knows I heard a lot about it, even seen cosplays. (Coincidentally.) The next poster has 2 or more remotes that work for a single TV.

GUILTY. And I absolutely hate it. I have good memory at times but terrible memory at other times. The next poster has troubles keeping a decent sleep schedule.

Ah very well. If she gave her okay then nevermind me. I just wanted to make sure since I had checked the clubhouse's sections before making my comment, just in case. A hostess could be cute and we need more characters inside the club as well to interact with. A few of us are still in standby. (Adonia will be the one to approve characters, at any rates.)

24 hours in a day indeed feels short to do all we want. As for casino hostess, you might want to ask Adonia if there IS a casino available for her. (I don't remember nor think there was one.)

So, um. Only a reminder in this thread that some character are still waiting for someone to pop in to meet with them. (Arish is currently confined to the lounge and I hope to get her to do something sometimes). She could move elsewhere but her job right now is there. (Since if she wasn't there, nobody else would be able to welcome people there.) Well, just saying so she isn't forgotten. I understand that people may want to duo roleplay and bypass the social system set in place but a little visit could be nice as well.

Why not both? I guess it's the idea of some people presenting a character and put it on a pedestal for a moment and people can choose to try something with them or not. BUT it's true at the same time that anyone can just ask these roleplayers directly for roleplay. An auction (while it requires volunteering into it), is a bit more like forcing said roleplayer to roleplay with the highest bidder. It can be fun but it can also turn sour even if the chances are little that it happens. Still, it imposes a limit that wasn't there before. I am not against the idea of course. Consider this just my observation. The exchange of credits here binds someone to someone else in hope for a service. (Buying the character/roleplayer's time) and we could ask if what we're buying has its well placed value. Well, not to do any buttkissing but I know that someone who'd buy Aura would get their money's worth. She seems to be a legendary roleplayer among us. (These novels, dang. I wish I could manage to put this kind of effort on my stories. She really goes hard with her work.) STILL, if we actually roleplayed this, I feel like it would feel like mmo roleplaying. Which IS fun. (Think FFXIV for example. You can roleplay at bars and trade gils to others for drinks. But these drinks can literally be bought for cheap changes from npcs). The trade of money in that case is just more a fun gimmick to add to realism of buying a drink and enjoy the bar experience. In the case of auctions, it could be the same where people try to win an auction for some time with a character. (It could be a date or just an activity, etc)

Efforts can be fun and it's even better if you enjoy it. Keep doing what you enjoy. For us, you have done enough that it shows us how much you're into this. AND how much we can get into it in return. When things really starts moving, it will be even more fun. But yes, a good moderator will indeed be one willing rather than one forced to be. (Even if it's not fully mutually exclusive) But we can all take our time into thinking about it later. For now, let's relax and have fun in the club. Some time in the lounge wouldn't hurt either. hint hint. (Just kidding but I want roleplay as well. ♪)
