Old Ruins

Directly in the center between the two territories is a large area of ruined stone structures,  thought to have been an ancient village once upon a time. Now acting as the boundary between Wolf and Fang, it is kept overgrown with wildlife but is used by youngsters as a place to hang out.

Jewel yawned as she walked to the old ruins. She loved coming to the ruins on clear nights as the lack of any lights made it perfect for star gazing and the ruins even had enough shaded spots she could be there during daylight hours with little sunburn though she did have to be careful of how long she went without resting or feeding. Jewel sighed as she once again found herself admitting to herself that she'd have to find a thrall soon as there weren't many alternatives and animals were to skiddish for proper hunting.

 Alexander just came from a party, tonight he decided to limit his drink, cause he fancied heading out into the forest's old ruins, a place that he visited often but never entered, supposedly laid sleeping monsters, which he didn’t fancy taking his chances with. Alex strode along the grass as he sang to himself merely. “ Baby I’m preying on you tonight, hunt you down and eat you alive, just like animals, animals. ” With a big smile on his face as he felt at peace in the woods away from prying eyes.

He hummed for a bit before continuing “ Maybe you think you can hide, baby I can smell your scent from miles just lik- ” He stopped himself as his eyes fell upon rather attractive women in the middle of the ruins, his smile dropped into a worried expression, he took a few steps out with his hands raised so she can see his hands are away from his weapon, a rapier to be precise. “Forgive me, ma’am, I didn’t see you there, What is a fair maiden such as yourself out alone in such a dark place~ It's not safe out here, with all the big bad monsters, shall I help you out of the ruins? I know the way out."

Jewel turned and tilted his her giggling softly making sure to keep her fangs hidden as she smiled at him "Good evening to as well good sir. I can assure you there's no monsters in these ruins, I come here quite often to star gaze." She let herself look him over noticing the sword and understood why his hands were up. Jewel gave him a good examination and found herself drawn to fact he had no shirt under his leather jacket which showed his muscles well and she found herself thinking "he's rather handsome for a human, I wonder if I could convince him to become my thrall?" She looked up at the sky playing the innocent lady "What brings such a charming gentleman like you to these old ruins? Surely you aren't just wandering around the scary forest for no reason"

As he heard her speak, he smiled, ‘voice of gold’ he said to himself, although he can’t place her accent. “I can assure my dear, such a place can become ridden with such beasts and creeps of kinds, I could not sleep at night knowing I would not escort such an extraordinary elegant maiden as you stroll around without an escort.” As he calls him an ‘escort’ he seems to straighten up his figure, stand tall and proud adjusting his jacket, still holding a charming smile on his features, of course, he knew about the fact no monsters linger outside the area, he presumed this was the case simply due to what lies inside deep the ruins.

As she called him a ‘charming gentleman’ he gave a rather courteous bow “Well, my fair lady, I came to protect a maiden from the possible grips of foul creatures of the night” He said before dropping the obvious lie with a proper response. “Well to be quite honest my dear, I am fond of the scenery here, a truly wondrous and mysterious place, stories of ghouls and goblins lurking beneath our very feet, the howling sounds of wolves, the cries of the banshee looking for her next victim, I shall smite such creatures of the night if they dare lay a finger on thee.” He said before approaching her, eventually kneeling before her and gently taking her hand, he was about to kiss the knuckle until he stopped looking at her hand with a frown on his face, and his other hand came to touch her hand. She could feel his soft yet warm hands against hers, he quickly stands up holding her hands with his. “My lady you are freezing cold!” He says worryingly as he lets go of her hand and begins to move around his jacket, exposing more of his nicely built frame, as he finds a cloth and uses it to hold against her hands, before looking at her frame properly.

He pulls his jacket off and nimbly waltz around her and places his jacket over her shoulder, trying to comfort her. “My jacket is nice and warm, I should warm you up, please allow me to escort you home to a warm fireplace.” He said with an insisting but worrying tone in his voice.

Jewel put a hand up stopping him as she stepped away from getting a sad look deciding to ask the one question she's never asked before "Sweet man, what if fate were cruel and I was one of those creatures that you claim you would smite to protect a fair maiden?" She had known she would not be able to hide if he touched her skin, it was the killer of all chances of normal life for most vampires and this human was almost perfect for her. But now she had to know if she was to regret letting him interact with her instead of fleeing as she always did.

Seeing the lady step away from him, he quickly realized that he was being too forward. He closed his eyes as he internally called himself an idiot, she was alone in the woods, and a stranger approached her, he should’ve guessed, he quickly stood back up and was going to apologize until she mentions she was one of the said creatures. He smiled looking at her. “Come now my dear, surely you jest? A beautiful lady such as yourself is not such a vile creature, if you were truly such a creature, I’d already be dead. Cause I’ve let my guard down.” He did ponder on the fact she was out here alone, but she was right that this place doesn’t have monsters dwelling over it.

Jewel looked at him letting her violet eyes glow a faint red "what if was to say you're not dead because you intrigue me and I wish make you a offer?" She knew if this this wentwrong Alicia would end her mistake personally and permanently but such a gentle soul was a rarity

Alexander watched as her eyes turned red, he stepped back tripping over a root from a tree, causing him to fall on his butt, it was then he was about to reach for his weapon, realizing it was gone, looking around he sees it lying on the floor to the side, ironically the weapon wouldn’t even tickle her since its a normal rapier. Instead, he looks at her and took heed of her words, he was convinced she was indeed a monster, but why was he alive, and what was this offer His confidence seemed to suddenly drop and stammered with his words looking at her. “...Wh…what of-...offer?” looking at her from below.

Jewel turned away from him showing she wasn't going to harm him and sat on the ground closing her eyes "I'm tired of being alone and wish to have a thrall of my own. Should wish to accept you would be given a permanent home, full protection from any who might try hurt you, the occasional sex if you ever wished to touch a monster like me and only thing that you be required to do is let me....feed.....when I need to" Jewel was very sad as she spoke "if you decide to decline all I ask is you never tell a soul about me and I will never trouble you again" she was ready for him to say no

Alex watched as she turned and sat down, he saw that he had an easy chance to go for his sword but his attention was caught by her proposal, at first, it caught him off guard, he gets protection, a new home, and sex with her. A monster?” But what was tugging on his strings was her voice, she did seem sad and lonely, and she asked to be fed in return, and the fact if he wished to refuse, he can simply walk away and this never happened.

There was a long silence, the man weighed his options, she seems sweet and gentle, but her tone suggests she was lonely, he got up off the floor and walked over to her, after a moment he also sat down directly behind her, he opens his mouth but doesn’t speak and closes it, he looks at the ground before smiling with a light chuckle before looking up to her. “So, I get to have sex with a cute monster and sings about being the fairest warrior in the landed by conquering the mighty creature of darkness with my mighty…ahem….anyway, I do have one condition…..right here, right now, you will allow me to take your hand, so we can waltz together under the trees for a few minutes?” He said with a warm smile on his face.

Jewel slowly looked at him confused "you wish to dance with me? With a vampire?" He had not said no, had not gone for his weapon, and had again called her cute? Why did he not run? Why wasn't he telling everyone of the monster in the ruins? She was completely lost for words and couldn't stop thinking about the fact he had just asked her to dance.

Alex looked at her as she proclaims what she was. “Ohhhh a vampire, that explains why you wanted to feed on me, thought you meant something else…..sorry serious moment, ahem, yes that's my only demand…..but if you rather not I can just…..” He said pointing behind him, still in the seated position staring at her with a deadpan stare, starting to wonder if he is in over his head.

Jewel gave him her first honest smile in a long time and held out her hand "you're the first person in 100 years to ask me to dance" she was happy to accept his condition but needed his own answer "is this a yes to the offer then? I dance with you and you become my thrall?"

Alex watched as she gave a very sweet and beautiful smile towards him, his heart began to race, almost like he was caught in a trance, he got lost in her eyes before managing to blink as he heard her words, he sighs lightly with a smile, taking her hand. “Yes, ill be your thrall…..mistress~” he says with a cheeky grin on his face.

Jewel chuckled "my name is Jewel, you do not have to call me mistress." She took his hand and stood up looking at him "please don't be afraid to ask me if you ever have questions you wish to ask. There are other thralls, all with a vampire master. Some are true lovers such as Toshiro Ito and his thrall Amber." She looked worried "I'll have to make sure Donovan doesn't touch you"

“Alexander…as you wish.” He nodded when she gave him any chance he needed to ask a question, during this, he slowly moved closer until their waists connected. His fingers gently interlocked with hers, “lovers huh?.....so ive a chance? Well I need to dial my charm up from 100 to 1000 than shouldn’t i?” He said with a sultry purring tone, his other hand starts to gently wrap around her waist, placed just above her butt, giving a head tilt to the name “Who now?” He said before he starts leading her into a slow dance to which he begins to hum a melody tune.

Jewel blushed slightly to Jim taking the lead in the dance as she spoke "Donovan is known as a corpse sower. He is a dangerous, vile, kind of vampire who takes pleasure in the fear and torturing of others. He hates humans, especially thralls and I will not let him touch you" she looked down almost sad with herself "I'll use my powers on him if needed to ensure he's not to touch you"

“Sounds quite like a prince charming…..” He said with a very sarcastic tone, but he did feel somewhat lifted by the fact she promised to keep him safe, he continues to lead her around the grass, he thinks for a moment before smiling, and he starts to sing once more, very slow paced and high pitched, kept in rhythm to their waltz “ Cruel and cold like winds on the sea, will you ever return to me? Hear my voice, sing with the tide, my love will never die.”

He says as the pace of the dance begins to quicken, he pauses as he hums the tone still, he continues to sing once more, but sounds more aggressive and louder “ Come my love be one with the sea! Rule with me for eternity! Drown all dreams so mercilessly and leave their souls to me! Play the song you sang long ago, and wherever the storm may blow, you will find the key to my heart! we’ll never be apart.”

Jewel blushed at the singing then looked down "may I ask why you chose to accept the offer Alexander?" Jewel had been around for a long time and had never taken a thrall as most humans were so brutally hateful towards her kind yet here was one that was willing to be hers. She wanted to know what made him say yes and not just run away.

Alexander's waltz began to slow as he started to become lost in thought. “Hmmm, Maybe I can’t resist a pretty face?~” He mused, not one to crack a charming remark towards her but of course he does really think about it before giving a proper response. “I guess, I can relate to a degree, despite being a party boy, women want me in their bed, people cheer me on, they greet me with smiles, but I wonder, if I wasn’t the one helping with the undead or hosting parties, would they still view me in the light? Also, despite how full my bed can be with women, it still felt empty….sure can’t deny a good fuck with a girl with nice big…anyway that's not the point, point is, I can relate.” He said with a serious tone, it was easy to gauge when he's joking, being playful versus being serious due to the fact his smile is not cheek to cheek, only a light smile.

Jewel stopped dancing and looked him in the eyes "I will need to mark you as my thrall so the others don't attack you and so Lady Alicia knows who you are bond to." She used a hand to touch his neck and actually asked him for permission "is it alright if I do so now? Afterwards we can go back and you can see your new home"

Alexander stopped with her and listened to her words, he should’ve guessed there was some kind of pact or contract that he needed to sign but forgot about it since he got lost in the dance. “Yeah…go ahead..” He said nervously, exposing his neck better, but to kind of loosen the tension, he went back to his old dirty habits. “I wonder what else that mouth can do.” He teased with a seductive grin waiting for the bond to be made.”

Jewel gave him the same smile as when he first said hello "you'll just have to wait and see" she moved close and whispered in his ear once bonded your life will be extended to match mine, if I die you'll be freed and return to normal human aging" she kissed his neck before gently biting. She closed her eyes as she tasted his blood for the first time. She drank a little then used a little power to leave a small jewel shaped mark on neck showing he was now officially her thrall. Jewel slowly pulled away and looked at him "do you feel alright?"
