I'm going to start with a question of my own: 

Between battle formats for the Colosseum and Casual Corner, do we want to use a mix of Sword & Shield as well as Scarlet and Violet and make formats for competitions for one or the other, depending on theme and what's allowed or isn't?

I know Pokémon Showdown uses a mixture of all of the forms (Mega forms, Z-Power, and Dynamax) so it may be worth looking into multiple formats for both the Colosseum and casual.  Perhaps something like a Rotation and an Unlimited format, where we can have one format that’s just Gen 9 (like in the games) and one that allows all forms.
