I posting this here to inform other peoples and to reminds myself when it happens to me and I forgets for a moment how awesomes I am. Meeting people on Ecchi Dreams is a lot like dating, or at least dating in the poly world. New people show up all shiny and mysterious, and others been around long enough that they seem like family. I threw a status post on my wall about running a Play-by-Post game here and it seemed to have generated a little interest. I'd like to expand that discussion to a broader audience and perhaps find a few people interested in participating - if only in this, as yet, theoretical, discussion. Apocalypse World seemed to garner a bit of interest, so I figured we could start the discussion there. Exactly what it says on the tin. I've create an original game system and I'm looking for feedback on how to improve it. As the creator, I've noticed I have a tendency to leave information out because I have the knowledge stored in my head, but it never crosses my mind to write it down because I believe it's obvious. I'm pretty decent at role-playing, but I notice I can get repetitive, or say a word that doesn't make sense. Sounds dumb, I know I can look up words but I felt it would be better coming from other roleplayers with perhaps more experience! I was just wondering how people tend to go about this, do most people just use the honour system? Is there something you can connect direct to a post to make it happen? Does the GM roll the dice? Use an app, send screen shots? I'm sure the answer to all of these is yes, to some extent or another. Just looking to see what people have tried and how they've found it.

So, I haven't been very active on the site for about a month or so at this point. I know that doesn't seem like an long time, but it certainly feels like it to me. I know in that time I've let quite a few replies fall into the back ground. I'm not sure to approach those, I know that if someone where to leave me high and dry for month, I'd loose intrest in most things, and I wouldn't want to just hop back into something, especially without an explanation. Hello, I’m new to this place. I found it while looking for someplace to spend some of my free time. I’m looking for some advice on how to overcome my anxiety about posting a thing in the private Roleplay area. I’m worried I’m going to be made fun of for my choice in style and what I want to do. Rejection anxiety has always been a problem for me IRL, and I’m sure many people here can relate. But… even though i’m completely anonymous on here, and I don’t really have any reason to be anxious - I still very much am. Could it be that I’m just insecure of my own writing? Many of us often crave a specific roleplay scenario at times, or maybe even keep ideas stored to offer to their partners. But where do we find inspiration for these? Over the years I've found that it can come from just about anywhere... Sometimes I may venture out onto the Internet with the express purpose of gathering roleplay ideas for plots or characters. ED seems to believe in creative freedom for your writing, and that includes getting to write your sex scenes no matter how kinky and weird they are... so long as they don't violate the ToS or law, which is fair! Unfortunately, any site that allows freedom of sexual content attracts the t r u e c r e e p as well. We all eventually figure out how to spot those people of course, but many roleplayers (especially new ones) can still ACCIDENTALLY come off as a creep in their interest checks, partner requests, E-texts, and even in casual out of character conversations. Okay, so I have something to tell in regards of how I do my RP and I want to question that, have you guys ever been in my position before. Let's say, I was RPing with someone, and it seems, both of us like the idea that I pitch for our RP. I was working on the intro of our character, BUT, it turns out to be, the intro itself being longer than what I expect to be and equal to how much I should write in my erotica stories(which is actually an extra long one, in ecchidreams, it would be long to ultra long per RP paragraph), just to make the intro of two characters in the RP itself...
