So, here's a question that's likely been answered. But I'm curious. Has anyone ever thought to combine roleplays (private or otherwise) with the dice-rolling fun of Dungeons and Dragons? I have, and I have no idea how to go about it. The idea just kinda popped into my head. I'm picturing someone DMing a session of Dungeons and Dragons, but not at a table. ED seems to believe in creative freedom for your writing, and that includes getting to write your sex scenes no matter how kinky and weird they are... so long as they don't violate the ToS or law, which is fair! Unfortunately, any site that allows freedom of sexual content attracts the t r u e c r e e p as well. We all eventually figure out how to spot those people of course, but many roleplayers (especially new ones) can still ACCIDENTALLY come off as a creep in their interest checks, partner requests, E-texts, and even in casual out of character conversations. I threw a status post on my wall about running a Play-by-Post game here and it seemed to have generated a little interest. I'd like to expand that discussion to a broader audience and perhaps find a few people interested in participating - if only in this, as yet, theoretical, discussion. Just thought about it while writing a review, while this is aimed at playing submissive characters I have the impression that it benefits my overall play too. They realy are applicable to all kinds or roleplay. Be advised: Some examples are definitely not safe for work: Me and plenty of other players love playing submissive characters that get dominated, this often comes with its own set of challenges. Hello, I’m new to this place. I found it while looking for someplace to spend some of my free time. I’m looking for some advice on how to overcome my anxiety about posting a thing in the private Roleplay area. I’m worried I’m going to be made fun of for my choice in style and what I want to do. Okay, so I have something to tell in regards of how I do my RP and I want to question that, have you guys ever been in my position before. Let's say, I was RPing with someone, and it seems, both of us like the idea that I pitch for our RP. When I first came to ED I was surprised how free one's ways of expressing their preferences were. See, my old site didn't allow loli roleplays of any kind. Title says it all. Some things I would like to request are that Under-18 characters are tolerated to a degree (doesn't have to be lolisho, teen years are fine by me) and that it be a bit more plot than erotica, though I do want erotica to be present. Since a few days ago, I've told myself that it's time to 100% stop roleplaying and even writing altogether. It's a long story, but... While reading the sticky guide was certainly a nice refresher, I didn't exactly need to as much as I was just compelled to in order to see if it also explained how to use the site's features.
