Alpha/Luna (Leader/Maius): The Alpha and Luna is the leader of the Midnight Pack, making important decisions to ensure the safety and progress of the pack. They can take council from the Beta and Delta, or even their mates for strategy in the pack itself and against foes. But in the end it is the leaders fin decision that truly matters. If the leader is Male, they are Alpha, whereas a Female is Luna. If the leader is in a same sex relationship, they are referred to as an Alpha or Luna Maius. (ie. Alpha "Jake" Maius or Luna "Dana" Maius)

 

Alpha/Luna (Mate/Luminare): The mate of the Alpha/Luna is called a Luminare, as they hold the titles of the head roles, they are primarily the mate of the leaders. An Alpha/Luna Luminare can give council and aid to their mate/other half, however they also help the tribe with a variety of responsibilities just as the Maius does as they represent the other half of them as well, so a Luminare is carefully picked by the Alpha/Luna. A Luminare DOES NOT become Maius/head of the pack if the lead Alpha/Luna die or step down, instead being reverted to their original roles. (ie. Alpha "John" Luminare or Luna "Hannah" Luminare)

 

Beta: Second in Command of the pack, the Betas main role is council and advisor to the Alpha/Luna, even acting as an envoy in certain cases. The advisor can provide details and information from certain viewpoints to aid in the decision-making of the leader, and should the Alpha/Luna be away, fall ill or die, the Beta can take their place for a time being. When there are multiple Betas, the one to take the leadership role of the Alpha/Luna is referred to as the Beta Major. When a Beta dies, the Alpha/Luna appoints a new one. The main/head Beta is called a Major, while all others are Minor. 

 

Gamma: Considered as the third in command and as the medical expert or doctor, it is the Gamma who tends to the wounded and ill. They are capable of growing herbs and unique flora, while also making medicines and elixirs. The Gama is capable of communing with the dead, specifically the Midnight Ancestors, as well as being able to utilize premonitions and spiritual healing. Hey xan also be the final say in decisions regardkng .edical practice, capable of overriding the Alpha/Luna in this field. However communication with the Ancestors is only if the pack leader deemed it necessary. The Gamma is considered a last resort leader of the tribe should the Alphas/Lunas, Betas, and Deltas all be dead or unfit for leading, and will lead until a suitable Warrior or Delta can take the helm of the Midnight Pack. The head Gamma is called a Major, while the others and trainees are called Minor. 

 

Delta: Recognized as veteran warriors, they are granted authority to organize patrol routes, scouting and reconnaissance, and even give tactical aid when needed; war strategies and such. These are seasoned warriors and are far more skilled than most of the Warrior ranks. The head Delta is called a Major, while others are called Minor, however should there be multiple Majors the one to lead them all is called an Ultra; a rare rank not seen in many generations, many have been older Wolves who are considered best of the best and are hand picked by the Alpha/Luna. The head Delta reports only to the Alpha/Luna. The Major is picked by the Alpha/Luna to lead the forces. And oftentimes, these ranks are used in special operations. 

Ultra > Major > Minor 

 

Warriors: The common type of Wolf that is of fighting age to serve the pack properly. They are used in protecting the pack and utilized for a variety of tasks. Warriors are given no real ranks, but that doesn't mean a few individuals can't shine through as well. 

 

Omega: Either unfit to be aby if the roles including Warrior or not in standing. An Omega is generally an outsider taken in, an elder wolf of the pack, a Newblood, a disabled individual, or even a pup are essentially considered Omegas in that regard.

 

Additional Terms: 

 

Queen: A female wolf that is either pregnant or is nursing their pups, once the young are weenie off the Queen goes back to their original role. Queens are heavily protected by the pack.  

 

Pup: A child of the pack, they are referred as Pups until they are old enough to mate, in which they are trained for combat and hunting until they are ready to be an Omega or take on an official role as Warrior. 

 

Scion: A direct descendant of the original werewolves, or close enough, these aren't held in ranks but can w used to reference others that have more Wolfblood than other pack members and can be traced back as such. Oftentimes they are Scions are rare, and are widely sought out to help breed to bring more powerful wolves to the pack. Disclaimer: If you desire for your character to be a Scion, please hit me up first. Not a whole lot of characters will have that chance.

Name: Auvunux "Austin" Windcaller

Age: 147

Sex: Male

Gender: Male

Sexuality: Straight

Role: Alpha (Maius)

Personality: Auvunux is generally a quiet individual, his only time of talking is with other individuals; otherwise despite his size no one would know he's even in the same room. While patient and calm and mild mannered, the massive man tends to come off as blunt, to the point, and has no welcome for nonsense. He uses common sense which is somehow a powerful weapon (and uncommon) these days, and normally Auvunux will sit back and watch until he has a full assessment on any given circumstance. In the back of his mind the goliath has a sheer joy of battle and conflict, he believes that peace is only temporary and conflict must always be met, but will opt for peace for the safety of the pack if need be.

However Austin does make it a point to actually care about his pack and their well-being despite not appearing so, but also has a moral compass to leave Humans alone if they're just hunting game in the area as is his main rule of thumb. He was once Human too, Auvunux will protect his kin from hunters of the supernatural and will resort to killing without so much as a second thought. 

With that said, the past of Auvunux is a mystery to anyone, he doesn't openly talk about feelings or what he used to be instead opting for the simplicity of being mild toward others. He isn't afraid to stand up to someone and an individual of his strength and skill is quite confident in himself, especially if someone challenges what he says/orders. Auvunux isn't easy to anger, but when he loses his formality he is a force to be reckoned with, with and without his form. 

 

Appearance Details: Being set at 7'7" Auvunux has a matching appearance to compliment both his size and intimidating features. Completely muscle bound, scarred all over his body, tribal tattoos and once having dreadlocks now shaven, Auvunux has seen his fair share of war and conflict. His hair is a deep brown-turning silver while having hazel green/blue eyes, his skin is a fair Caucasian with dark patches of skin littering his body, but what stands out besides the scars and such are the marking of chains all along his legs and arms, signifying that at one point Auvunux was bound by burning hot chains and left an imprint on his body. 

In his wolf form, Auvunux has deep silver fur, and the chain imprints on his arms and legs become part of the fur in shades of dark gray. His eyes become emerald green, however with the rest of his transformation the Alpha's scars are hidden beneath his fur, and his fur in itself is grown out more along the back, arms, and has an extremely bushy tail. His height raises from it's 7'7" to 12'5", given the growth of a werewolf he is massive to say the least. 

 

Other Details (Optional): While this should be in Personality of anything, it is extremely hard for Auvunux to trust people, let alone share his feelings toward them. This is due to his past of being called, "Weak," For having actual morals and mercy on his enemies, and being a pack leader, he has to show his leadership through strength, wisdom, and cunning, all of which he is known for. He does have a variety of rules that keep the pack safe, but when it comes to Vampires and other supernatural creatures that aim to harm innocent people/bystanders, especially his pack, Auvunux throws away all moral compasses when fighting them and normally aims to kill. 

Austin's bloodline dates back to the first werewolves, having lineage to them but the wolf's blood is strong in him. His beast form is considered a long lost breed, with what him and his brother having it, they could potentially bring back the breed of wolf they are which can greatly benefit any given pack.

Role: Scion...role in pack unsure shes kinda getting a feel first

 

Personality: Is quiet and reserved and rather protective of herself when meeting new people. When you get through her shell she can be rather friendly and protective of you(if seen as friend)...She is ften seen in neutral poeitions...for years she was a lone wolf but recent need arose to my herself a part of a pack.

Personality:  tired, aloof, spends most of his time by himself, lives on his own, usually wants to be left alone

Appearance Details: six foot, short  dark hair brown eyes, beard, wears blue jeans  black Brogans, Grey overcoat

Other Details (Optional): From Mississippi, in 1835, He lived with his family on a small farm. with his father, grandmother, mother, and younger sister. At the age of 26 he enlisted to fight in the war. its unknown when he became a werewolf, only that it was AFter the Battle of Shiloh, he still suffers PTSD from that battle to this very day. He fought from Shiloh to Atlanta, Barely surviving Nashville, before teh war ended however, his family's home was burnt, believed to be from Union Soldiers, and his family froze to death without shelter in the late part of the war. He doesnt hate the soldier he fought against, or at least not anymore. To him his war ended years ago, though he mentions fighting a a vampire clan called the Family in new orleans and witnessed the Tulsa Race Riot in 21. He mostly keeps to himself now  only really escorting anyone who wanders too close away from him.

Personality:
Brigitta is the quiet strength behind the throne, soft where her Alpha is steel, but no less formidable. Where August commands with presence, she commands with perception. She is observant to a fault, able to read tension in a room before a single word is spoken, and often knows the outcome of an argument long before it begins. While she carries herself with grace and restraint, there is nothing fragile about her. Her composure is deliberate, honed through years of navigating pack politics, rival Alphas, and the delicate balance between mercy and survival.

Unlike many Lunas who lead through warmth alone, Brigitta leads through emotional intelligence and quiet authority. She is nurturing to her pack, especially the young and newly turned, but does not coddle weakness. She believes strength must be cultivated, not handed out. Her kindness is earned and protected, and those who mistake her gentleness for naivety quickly learn otherwise.

Fifteen years younger than August, Brigitta grew into her role beside him rather than beneath him. She challenges him in private, never in a way that undermines him publicly, but she is one of the few who can question his decisions without fear. She tempers his harsher instincts when diplomacy will suffice, yet when the line is crossed, when innocents are threatened or the pack endangered, Brigitta becomes as ruthless as any Alpha. Her loyalty is absolute. Betrayal, however, is something she does not forgive twice.

Trust does not come easily to her. She was raised in a fractured pack where leadership failed its people, and she learned early that survival often required silence and patience. Those experiences forged her into a Luna who listens more than she speaks and remembers everything. She believes in balance: strength and mercy, instinct and reason, love and dominance. As Luna, she does not simply stand beside the Alpha; she stabilizes him.

Appearance Details:
Standing at 5’9”, Brigitta carries herself with poised confidence that makes her seem taller. Her build is athletic and feminine, strength evident in the line of her shoulders and the quiet power in her stance. Her hair is a rich ash-blonde that falls in heavy waves to the middle of her back, often braided intricately when attending pack matters. Her eyes are a striking icy blue with flecks of silver that seem to glow when her wolf stirs close to the surface.

Her skin is fair with faint scars tracing her ribs and thigh, marks of battles fought in defense of her previous pack. A crescent-shaped scar rests just beneath her collarbone, a reminder of the night she earned her place at August’s side. Unlike August’s overtly brutal markings, Brigitta’s scars are subtle, almost elegant, but no less hard-won.

She favors practical attire, dark leathers, earthy tones like creams and greens, jeans or sports wear, and silver jewelry etched with old runic symbols tied to her bloodline. Around her neck rests a wolf’s tooth bound in silver, said to belong to her mother, the former Luna of her birth pack.

Wolf Form:
In her wolf form, Brigitta stands nearly 8” at the shoulder when fully reared, built leaner than August but swift and lethal. Her fur is a pale golden-white with streaks of cream along her spine and ears, giving her an almost spectral presence under moonlight. Her eyes glow an intense crystalline blue, nearly luminescent in darkness.

She is known for her speed rather than brute force, fluid, strategic, and devastatingly precise. While August may dominate through overwhelming power, Brigitta dismantles opponents with calculated efficiency. When they fight together, their styles contrast but complement: storm and sunlight.

Other Details (Optional):
Brigitta descends from an old Hungarian bloodline of werewolves, the Farkas lineage once known for producing Lunas with unusually strong empathic bonds to their pack. She possesses a rare ability to sense emotional disturbances within her territory, an instinct that has saved lives more than once.

Though younger than August, she is not inexperienced. She chose him, fully aware of the weight of his past and the darkness that lingers in him. She does not try to erase it, only to ensure it does not consume him.

To the pack, she is their Moon, steady, watchful, and unwavering. To August, she is the only one who sees both the beast and the man and loves them equally.
