Pearl feels slightly lonely. No, not in a typical sense, she feels lonely in a sense that she does not have that special person... well, except one... Since the end of gem war she kinda misses having someone with her... maybe its her servant nature or maybe she just got used to that, so when she is not busy doing things for the little homeworld she thinks about the older times and how she liked the way that life was like and... weirdly alot about amethyst... Crap... the constant mess and free spirit... how she wishes she could teach her that its bad to leave shit laying around... and so one day while she was going through the stuff she accumilated over the years like older human junk, some newer junk, some phone numbers from local residents written on paper... a gun... and while going through all that, in the background she keeps thinking about amethyst, so much in fact she started getting a faint thought that she might be into amethyst, though she barely believes in it "I know she is my friend and that i like her but... in no way it can be just like with rose but... with her! She is careless, reckless even! Though i suppose she is... strong and... Argh, maybe i should ask garnet, she might know what might be with me..." She says to herself, as she stays and finishes her "inventorization" of her interdimensional stoage in her own room while her brain keeps spinning around the idea why she wouldn't be into amethyst... yet when she is about to finish, she rather hastely, and to be fair, sloppily, by her own standards, just leaves things be. She doesn't seem to care that there are some little things left to do, and she walks out through the temple, almost running into garnet, that was holding some cacti in both of her hands. "Is there something you wanna ask?" Garnet, as if knowing already that pearl will talk to her (Which we know that she knows), seems to have yanked the words "may i ask you something" right off her tongue.

[Frocky]

She gasps as she bumps into garnet, stopping just before knocking into her and the cacti, her eyes widen as she sees the bristles so close to her face. “Oh! S-sorry Garnet..Uh im actually glad to have run into you.” Her cheeks become flushed as she tries to think of how she should phrase her situation. “I need to talk someone about a..uhm…predicament im in..” She started to sound silly as she spoke, waiting to see the expression on her face before continuing to explain, knowing Garnet she likely already had an idea of what I was trying to say.

Garnet was listening to pearl as she was attempting to describe her feelings about amethyst and her attempts to deny them. Yet pearl just kept talking and talking about amethyst, which even started to cause garnet to yawn... Before she decided to picture what would happen if pearl and amethyst got together... At first it seemed hard to picture, since, alot of times, they clash and argue with each other... But then she really started thinking about this thoroughly... While pearl was still ranting... She has thought about opposites attracting each other and the future... She started seeing new branches in ghe timeline... Before pearl stopped to ask garnet-

"Hey, garnet, are you still listening...? You know what these might be caused by?"

To what garnet responded with a-

"Hm.......... I think you are over-thinking these feelings... They are not meant to be analyzed like a question, but rather as a guide for who to be with... I know you might not like me saying this, but it might be just like with rose... But... Different..."

The way she said it seemed to be confusing, yet also probably disturbing for pearl, because of they way she thought of amethyst.
