"you are talking to a naked princess, mind you slaves don't wear just a loin cloth, so for all he knows you just got done bedding me" let a looks at him bright blue eyes watching him

"I dont suppose you want to try that? The bedding thing? I mean...Im practically naked, and you...are completely naked?"

she looks at him

He looks back at her. "Is that a yes...? I mean...if you don't mind me saying, you are an attractive woman."

"fine" she says getting out of the bath

[nicjomo]

Eddie thought it over. "On second thought...stay in the bath. Keep it in mind for later. If I fail in getting your hand, then maybe we can try it before I move on to another princess. Now...point me in the direction of the throne room, and I will talk with your father!"

She blinks "down the hall make a left"

Eddie nods, as he bids farewell to the princess. He follows her instructions, as he went down the hallway taking a left at the end. He hadn't seen it, until he noticed a grand entryway into the throne room. He tried to keep from looking around at it, marveling. His focus was only on the king.

The king sat on his throne looking at the servant looking man I'm front of him, kingsguard she and beside the king and at every entry point

"Greetings your Majesty. I have come to ask for your daughters hand in marriage. I am on a quest to unite the kingdoms by marrying the princesses of each." He really did not know what to say to the king. There was no way in hell the king would say yes.

A spear lands right in front of him sticking into the stone work

Eddie nearly jumped, seeing the spear stick out of the wall.

The king sits down on his throne "why should I let a servant marry my daughter"

[nicjomo]

"As I said your majesty. I'm on a quest. And...well...technically I'm not really a servant. I was brought to my land against my will, for reasons I dont know. ...also, was the spear necessary? Its...not like I'm coming after you." Maybe he wasn't going to be lucky with this princess. Or, with the rest of his quest at this rate. If they threw more spears at him, he would be dead.

"you didnt answer my question" the king ssays

Clearly the answer about his quest wasn't good enough. So, he nodded. "Alright. Well...for one, I'm not a servant. I dressed in these servant clothes to see if I could get your daughters hand in marriage. In a way, I'm just a normal person. Better than a servant, no? And well...you seem to be a warrior tribe, yes? Strong army. But is it enough for your enemies? If you allow me to marry your daughter, then the more princesses I marry, the stronger your army gets. Your enemies would cower before you with the armies I obtain. Need more?"

"so i should kneel to a foreign master? Allow a commoner marry my daughter? you seem to be dense boy,what other kingdom will send warriors that match our own?"

[nicjomo]

He looked around. The guard were in pretty good shape. He was unsure of what any other guards looked like tho. "Well...I've only really been to two kingdoms so... I don't know. Yours look the toughest." Jeez...this was tough. Where was Ren to help with this? She made it seem like he got the girl, boom...easy! She didn't plan on the stubborn father.

"prove you are able to marry my daughter then we will talk about marriage"

"And how would I do such a thing?"

[onearmeddruid]

"defeat one of my personal guards" he says tossing you a shield

[nicjomo]

"With just a shield?" Damnit, Eddie had no weapon training at all! This was a bust...

the king sighs in annoyance, the spear he threw ealier still stuck in the ground in front of him, as one of his guards walks up to him

Eddie looks over. Oh duh...the spear. Not even a sword? Its the best he had. He pulled out the spear, pointing it at the guard.

the guard thrusts at him stepping off line as he does
