The Pegasus.

The Pegasus is a News Coporation based within Blackberry Falls. It is a very popular alternative to mainstream News media. The Pegasus has a different attitude when it comes to telling the News. They firmly believe that the citizens of the world deserve Truthful news, without all the bullshit. They work hard to expose the truth, no matter how bad it may be. Even if it embarrassing for any Government, they will announce it publicly as they feel that the citizens deserve to know what is going on around them.

They encourage people to think critically, and to ask questions of anyone in authority. They tell everyone that the Government works for them, and therefore should answer any questions that citizens have. The Pegasus is often seen as a tongue news corporation from the Government as The Pegasus has known to leak a lot of embarrassing details about them. Like with the recent Mass Surveillance Scandal involving the US and UK Governments. The Pegasus received a copy of the leaked documents and have been publishing them through their news reports, on the radio, in their newspapers and on Television.

They have received warnings from the Government to stop publishing the documents, however The Pegasus refused and continued what they were doing. After another News company was raided by the Government and had their copy of the documents destroyed, the CEO of the company, Caerwyn, put all the information onto a secure laptop and sent the laptop with one of his Journalists to the UFF as their laws would protect the data. He hopes that this way, they had nothing in the building and yet still held a copy.

The Pegasus also has Investigative Journalists who investigate governments and corporations for any corruption. They strongly support investigative journalism as it helps expose corruption and how the everyday citizen is unfairly treated. They support it so much, that they welcome other investigative journalists to investigate The Pegasus. When asked why, Caerwyn responded, "Why not? If there is any kind of corruption in my company, I want to know about it. I am not going to preach one thing, and then do the other. It's completely illogical."

Due to the threats of Press Restriction from the UK government, The Pegasus headquarters will be moving to the UFF so that they can report without fear of persecution. They are still going to work within Blackberry Falls City and will have a branch there. News will also continue to be reported about Blackberry Falls. They may appear to be biased towards the UFF, especially with the documentary they did on Keza Corp, however there is genuinely nothing fishy going on. They have pointed out mistakes that the UFF have done, and the UFF responded to change that mistake. But no matter how hard The Pegasus tries to find something wrong with the UFF, corruption is something rarely encountered.

There was one scandal that briefly occurred. There were reports of corruption within Keza Corp, about Tripp using his Xeno, Dez'rarzii, to control and manipulate business partners. These reports were given to The Pegasus in the form of video footage of Dez'rarzii fucking Leila, making her addicted to him. This was instrumental in getting Leila to sell her company, The Kitsunetsuki, over to Keza Corp and putting her on their pay roll. The Pegasus asked for an interview with them and they accepted, appearing on UFF TV only, and seemed deeply embarrassed that this was found out. After Makayla confirmed that Leila was not under his control at the moment, Leila told them that she willingly submitted to Tripp and that she had wanted it. She also claimed that she would have sold her company to him even if he wasn't using his addictive cum on her as she knew he would take care of the girls who worked for her. It soon became clear that this was a private agreement between the two of them, and The Pegasus publicly apologised to the two of them for helping to expose this.

The Staff.

Here is a list of the current staff at The Pegasus. If you would like your character to join the work force, please EcchiText me for more details. I have yet to do a Job Centre form, because I am not sure as to the kind of positions characters can have in this company. I'm open to suggestions.



Position: CEO of The Pegasus.
Name: Caerwyn Cadwalder.
Age: 34.
Species: Human/Pegasus hybrid.
Height: 6ft3.
Weight: 154lbs.
Nationality: Currently British, but will be recieving UFF citizenship soon.
Information: Caerwyn is a quiet, contemplative seeming man. He is deeply passionate about his job and getting the truth delivered to the people as he feels that citizens should know what their governments are up to. He tries to encourage critical thinking, and for people to ask questions of authority. Other news corporations have attempted to find scandals on him to discredit him. They often talk about his rather lax views on sex, and have tried picturing him to be a sleazy man that was condemmed to go to hell. Caerwyn publicly laughed at these comments, telling them frankly that he didn't care how they tried to make him out to be. He is extremely stubborn, and will not budge on his views towards Press freedom and the public's need to know the truth. Despite the fact that he is the CEO of a multi-million news corporation, he has a relatively low wage and doesn't take bonuses. When he is given one, he splits them all up between all of his staff so they get a bonus equally.

Position: Investigative Journalist.
Name: Jayne Hawthorne.
Age: 21.
Species: Primarily human, with a tiny mix of Keza.
Height: 6ft1.
Weight: 114lbs.
Nationality: UFF citizen.
Information: Jayne is an investigative journalist within The Pegasus. She was the youngest ever hired, as the moment she left University, she uncovered a large operation where factories were using Illegal Immigrants as hard workers with long hours and little pay. Since then she has worked hard to uncover corruption and delivering the truth. So was the one that investigated Keza Corp and could not find anything wrong with the place. But even though she didn't find anything, she still released the documentary. She has been asked by Caerwyn to take a breifcase to the UFF and ask for asylum. She agreed not only because she knew there were important documents the public must know about, but because her boyfriend was becoming increasingly worse and she needed to escape him.

Position: Anchorwoman.
Name: Vicky Baker.
Age: 29.
Species: Human.
Height: 5ft2.
Weight: 102lbs.
Nationality: British/American, but will be moving to the UFF.
Information: Vicky is a small, sweet faced anchorwoman that most citizens of Blackberry will see when the news is on The Pegasus news channel. She's very friendly, gets along with most people and is usually a very happy woman. She's married, but the marriage is falling apart since her husband lost his job and has become extremely slovenly and neglects her. But she is very happy when at work and puts her best effort into it.

Position: Weather woman.
Name: Sally Clark
Age: 32
Species: Human.
Height: 5ft11.
Weight: 135lbs.
Nationality: British/American, but will be moving to the UFF.
Information: Sally is the person most citizens see when they see the weather report. She appears quite calm and proffessional, but off camera she's a very lively, bubbly person. She's quite extroverted, and loves spending time around other people, especially friends. She is a single mother by choice with two children.

Name: Jason Miller
Age: 23.
Species: Human.
Height: 6ft3.
Weight: 152lbs.
Nationality: British/American, but will be moving to the UFF.
Information: Jason is the very charming news reporter that reports lives from scenes of events such as a protest. He is very charismatic, and is said to have a very charming smile. He's single, and quite open-minded. He comes off as quite confident and very friendly.

The workplace.

This is the Blackberry Falls City branch, the former Headquarters of The Pegasus. When the company moves to the UFF, they will have a new HQ there, but this branch will remain operating.[i/]

The Pegasus is a nice, relaxed place to work in. Sometimes, things can get hectic when an emergency comes up, but usually things are quite relaxed. Caerwyn actively gets involved with the work around the company, helping his employees and advising them the best he can. He is quite approachable and even the janitors are known to approach him to speak with him and he would pay them attention as he feels they deserve. As long as someone doesn't constantly mess up or get into trouble, they will find working here to be a pleasant experience.

When the news isn't being read, this News Studio is actually just an empty room with a single Keza Corp smart table. The Pegasus use VER technology to create their News Studio. It also makes it easier to have images and messages appear on the screen. They also don't need to use a green screen with the weather. They can make this room appear as small or large as they want, and easily switch between news reporters. The table where the anchorwoman/anchorman sits is a smart table so that they can easily flick through reports and display anything beside them for the views. This can be very useful when an emergency occurs, as the information would be sent to her table and they can immediately stop what they are going and begin reporting the breaking news.

There are several staff rooms dotted around the building where staff can gather together and talk to one another as they take their break. It is somewhere for people to retreat away from their job and either prepare something for themselves to eat using their kitchen (Kitted out with Keza Corp Smart Appliances) or sit down in the seating area and watching television. There are even DVDs and books on shelves that can use freely. Although unless it is theirs, they cannot take it out of the staff room. The glass coffee table isn't just a coffee table. It is one of their Keza Corp smart tables that staff are free to use.

If staff don't fancy cooking themselves something to eat, or bringing something from home, there is a cafeteria on the ground floor. This cafeteria is open to the public, however staff with a valid The Pegasus staff card will get their meals for free. The public need to buy their food. It contains good quality food that is served on site with their own kitchens and well trained chefs.

Caerwyn has a modest office, not decorated with that much. The main feature of the room is the wooden table. Imbedded within the table is a Keza Corp Smart Table surface that allows him to do his work on it. If the door is open, which it is most of the time, then people are free to enter to speak to him. He tries to be as available as possible to all of his staff. But when he is in a meeting, he will close the door which is a sign that he is not to be disturbed. While Caerwyn may spend most of his time in this office, he will try and get out to talk to people.

No character may damage/destroy anything on the property as it would be considered vandalism. The Police will be called and there may be consequences. Anyone may enter the building, but without a staff pass, or signing in as a visitor, they will not get access to the building past the reception and cafeteria. So you cannot have your character come in to use the cafeteria and somehow ending up on the News Studio.
