Kitsuyumia Posted March 15, 2022 Posted March 15, 2022 Magic Magic is a lost art essentially. Ever since the near eradication of the other races, humans had stopped using magic for the most part. Because of this for most the ability to use magic has begun to atrophy and fade. More ancient individuals such as many of the elder vampires are still able to use magic easily. While younger individuals such as newer vampires, and currently living humans will have more difficulty learning and using magic. This is because they have to work their mana channels like muscles. The more they practice with magic the easier it gets to use and the easier it gets to learn stronger magics. Also it does not help the fact that humans naturally are not suited towards using magic. Even in ancient times humans would struggle more to learn magic than the other races. Lycans however are unable to use magic. Their ability to naturally transform actually damages their mana channels and makes it impossible to cast magic. A Lycan could perform the actions to cast a magic perfectly and it will not do anything. But this doesn't mean that Lycans have to solely rely on their physical strength and technology alone. Lycans are mystics that can rely on spirits to aid them if necessary. However that information will be explained in a seperate thread. In the following posts after this magics will be broken down by their class, type, and difficulty. Class is the category a magic belongs in. Type refers to the purpose of the magic, such as if it is offensive, defensive, etc. Difficulty refers to how difficult it is to learn the spell. 1

This is a very easy spell to learn and can be cast nearly instantly. Flame Thrower: Spoiler Class: Anima Type: Offensive Difficulty: Easy be able to shoot a continuous stream of flames from your hand, or mouth. This can be done indefinately as long as the user has the mana to support the casting. It drains mana at a steady rate. Flare: Spoiler Class: Anima Type: Support Difficulty: Easy Shoot an extremely bright condensed fire ball of a color of your choice. Can also be used offensively. Mainly used for signaling or for distractions. Control Flames: Spoiler Class: Anima Type: Support Difficulty: Medium Control the size of an existing flame, move the flame around, and be able to remotely put out a flame. Fire Arc: Spoiler Class: Anima Type: Offensive Difficulty: Medium (Requires Flare and Control Flames) Create a condensed arc of fire that shoots out in front of you. Can cut through certain objects. Fire Ball: Spoiler Class: Anima Type: Offensive Difficulty: Medium (Requires Fire Bolt and Control Flames) Create a large fire ball that can be thrown, it explodes upon impact with a target. Fire Resist: Spoiler Class: Anima Type: Defensive Difficulty: Hard Cast a spell on a target that makes a barrier that protects the target from fire. Fire Whip: Spoiler Class: Anima Type: Offensive Difficulty: Hard (Requires Fire Resist, Fire Arc, and Control Flame) Create a tangible rope of fire that you can swing around and use like a whip that burns what it strikes. Fire Storm: Spoiler Class: Anima Type: Offensive Difficulty: Hard (Requires Flare, Fire Ball, and Control Flames) Shoot a Fireball into the air and then make it burst creating small flames that rain down on the effected area. Fire Wheel: Spoiler Class: Anima Type: Offensive Difficulty: Hard (Requires Fire Storm and Control Flames) Throw a fireball and split it off into sparks creating a fast spinning wheel of sparks. Fire Spout: Spoiler Class: Anima Type: Offensive Difficulty: Hard (Requires Flamethrower, Control Flames, and Fire Wheel) Make Flames spit out from the ground and rain sparks in the area surrounding the fountain of flames. FrostFire: Spoiler Class: Anima Type: Modifier Difficulty: Hard Modify any fire based spell into a Frostfire variant. Frostfire will inflict frostbite onto it's victims instead of burning them. DarkFire: Spoiler Class: Dark Type: Modifier Difficulty: Hard Modify any fire spell to be a dark variant. Dark variants deal extra damage to people of holy affinities. CurseFire: Spoiler Class: Eldritch Type: Modifier Difficulty: Very Hard Modify any fire spell to be able to transfer curses onto the victim. Fire Cannon: Spoiler Class: Anima Type: Artillery Offensive Difficulty: Very Hard (Requires Fire Ball, Control Flame) use a vast amount of mana to create a massive fireball that moves slowly and deals a lot of damage on impact when it explodes. Typically needs multiple casters. Fire Vortex: Spoiler Class: Anima Type: Offensive Difficulty: Extremely Hard (Requires Fire Spout, Tornado) Create a swirling vortex of fire that moves across the land consuming all in it's path Hell Fire Volley: Spoiler Class: Anima Type: Artillery Offensive Difficulty: Extremely Hard (Requires Fire Cannon, Fire Storm, Control Flames) Launch a series of fire mortars into the air to rain down on your target. Each mortar explodes on impact. Usually requires multiple casters. Pyroclastic Flow Spoiler Class: anima Type: Offensive Difficulty: Extremely Hard (Requires Flamethrower, Sand Storm, Extreme Gale) Create a fast moving cloud of super heated dust, gas, ash, and fire to consume your enemies. Phoenix Rebirth Spoiler Class: Anima Type: Support Difficulty: LEGENDARY (Requires Fire Spout, Control Flames, Life, Regeneration, Soul Seek, Plane Walk, Revive, Mental Stasis, Mind Salvage, Protect) When a lethal strike is made on someone who is enchanted with Pheonix Rebirth, they are engulfed in flames and are reborn in a new body and new mind instead of dying.
