NPCs and Factions

This is the start of important NPCs abd Factions out of Blackthorne and Midnight. They will be separated via postings, however these posts will be edited as time not create too much clutter.

Midnight Pack NPCs

1. Kain O'Callaghan, Age: 34, Werwolf: Eurasia Wolf, Irish, Married with four children. Kain is a 6'7" individual hailing from Ireland, he has short red hair and a beard to match, though he does have a but of a thickness to him Kain is otherwise very muscular. While not part of the Midnight Pack, Kain supplies them with food and such. He is the local arms dealer in Pine Heath,  selling Hunting and Fishing gear as well as Home Defense weapons that are borderline black market... But not illegal!

2. Jason Baggs/Baggs Family, Age: 67, consists of Jason (grandfather), Todd (Father), Mary (Mother), and their two daughters Stacy and Ashley; Human(s), Americans. Jason, while an older man, is considered an old friend to the Midnight Pack via the prior Alpha. He is a heftier man having a chubby belly, height reaching 6'5", he has a broad and masculine look with thick arms despite his old age. He owns much of the farmland around Pine Heath, and helps with keeping track of outside Packs when he hunts coyotes and elk. Jason can provide plenty of room for the pack incase something happens to their home since his house was built right next to an old missile silo/bunker.

Blackthorne Estate NPCs

1. Sean Danovik, Age: 154, Vampire: Mistwalker, Russian, Married with a Human and has one Human child. Sean is a short and lanky fellow, only reaching to 4'7" in height, he has brown hair with a goatee and brown eyes. He is one of few vampires of the Blackthorne Estate allowed to live in Pine Heath, given his mastery over temptation, his primary use of magic is smoke (subclass of Fire) and Illusion. More or less he seems shady with running several businesses kept private, however he normally is in the fishing, farming, and trade business helping the Estate out with financial issues outside their territory.  In truth he is good willed but is completely untrusting of all, except for his family, the Nightmistress, and very few people in the Family.

Blackthorne Human NPC

Chae-Yeong Jin Age: 58 Human Korean - She is the birth and primary care taker of Hana Jin (Thrall). Before Hana was even born, she was a socialite in Seoul and she was the most beautiful of the three sisters. When She was young she married her now husband Richard Jin which this was considered that she married out of her class for 'love'. Because of this she was disowned by her family in Korea; however they did try to contact Hana on occasion Chae-Yeong kept them out of her life not thinking that Hana could use the help. Because of her Hana doesn't have any idea of who her mother's side of the family is and only knows Richard's side. 

After her and her husband got into debt and are unable to pay the bills, they make the not so tough decision to sell their daughter to the loan sharks to pay off their debts. While they had gained plenty from their daughter's sale, the husband blew through it faster not thinking of the consequences. With this in mind she did not expect to be sold as well; worked so well the first time. Now after Hana bonded with her Japanese Vampire lover, the mother comes back into the picture a few months later only to torment her beloved daughter to get better treatment than just being a blood bag.

Pine Heath Human NPC

Name Delores "Dixie" Mason

Age: Early 50's

Description: Waitress at the Sundown Diner, an institution of the West Harbor. A plump, greying brunette with a thick southern accent. She knows all of the regulars, their orders and calls them all "hun". Dixie was born in Alabama, and came to Pine Heath over thirty years ago chasing a man. He found him chasing another woman. They moved back south, but she stayed and has been a fixture at the Sundown ever since.

Pine Heath Factions: Blackthorne 

1. The Constantine Coven

Spanning primarily from Greece and Romania, the Constintine Family/Estate are amongst the oldest Covens on the globe, having control between their two home countries, Australia, Germany, and several other countries locked in a tight grip. They are the first and deathly loyal allies to Blackthorne, led by one "Kaisarissa" Nona Constantine, who had built personal relations with the former "Nightmaster" Tiberius Blackthorne.  The Constantine Estate has a minimal presence in North America alongside the Aguarlo Estate, while not branching any further the former does secure resources that would be helpful back home. 

 

2. The Aguarlo Coven 

The second and equally trusted Coven are the Aguarlo's, hailing primarily from the South America's, namely Spain. Responsible for suppressing the collective cartel Covens known as the Verdadero Diablos between Mexico,  New Mexico,  and the Texas border, the Aguarlo Estate is known for having a deep hand in insurance, real-estate, world trade, and have a presence in the states of New York, Washington, California, and several more all the while not controlling them either. The family are controlled by three sisters, Roxanna, Cristina, and Nioma Aguarlo who have been the dominant matriarchs since the early 12th century. 

 

3. The Cold Harbor Clan

In Westport, the Harbor side of Pine Heath, grew a small collection of newborn Covens that became the Cold Harbor Clan, led by an unknown leadership. While laying low and extremely secretive, the collective seem to be leaving the Humans of Pine Heath alone for the most part but beyond that a Blackthorne may run across these rogue-like individuals; of which, the Cold Harbor Clan are masters of illusions, various magics, and primarily stealth related abilities.

Pine Hearth NPC

Name: Unknown

Alias: Black Wolf

Origin: Black Fang

Height: 6ft 9

Age: Unknown

Description: The black wolf is probably one of the last remaining members of the Black Fang clan, a pack of feral werewolves that crave violence and death, this one simply called 'Black Wolf' stands roughly at 6ft 9 tall, quite short for a werewolf but makes him extremely agile due to this. His eyes are pure white which at first glance might make you misunderstand he is blind, but its clear he is not, judging by the chipped teeth, oversized claws, scars along the side of its face. Its most likely this is either a scar or a by product of where it currently lives which if so is probably a cave deep beneath the earth void of light. Its fur is black but heavily dirty from mixed with blood and other bodily fluids, it smells similar to that of a rotting corpse which might be the only indication of his presence nearby.

Personality: Just like the clan itself, the black wolf is violent and Apathetic towards life, killing and raping what it wishes, it can only be found in the forest which seems to claim as it's home, only seen at night which creates theory of the its existence as they are known to have no human form or believe to not have one. The black wolf is sadistic and cruel, enjoying hunting and stalking weaker prey before killing it, finding amusement in instill terror into its victims with its presence and seemingly almost impossible to outrun or lose track of.

Weakness: While currently unknown to the residents of Blackthorne Vampires and Midnight Pack, the werewolf aside from usual typical werewolf weakness, the black wolf is susceptible to bright lights or even direct exposure to sunlight which will cause the monster to cry in pain and quickly flee and near impossible speeds by a werewolf standards to avoid the light, truly a beast of darkness.

 

Black Fang Clan

The Black Fang by werewolf perspective are the true monsters of their species, vile, cruel, sadistic, merciless, they would fight amongst each other out of boredom, killing, hunting and raping as they please without end, seeing everything as their entertainment. They have been known to ransack villages and other packs, killing both men and children but capturing females of all ages to bring back to become brood mothers to carry their offspring, tossed around between members and used to satisfy their needs while also impregnating as many as they can, werewolf or human would become such victims to cruelty, once a female has given birth, if they survive they are simply raped once again to re-impregnate until their demise and simply become food. Offspring from these conditions are just as cruel, males that have any defect or simply annoyed another a member was killed and eaten. It was noted that incest between members was high, which would explain their short stature by werewolf standards as even the Alpha was short in size as hardly any member was taller than 7ft. Pack members would rape their own daughters once they become barely breedable, males would even go after their siblings or potentially their own mother if she has not already died. There uncontrolled spread has caused werewolves and vampires to make a truce to combine their efforts to rid the world of their existence before it becomes impossible to contain them. The war was even on all sides but the combine tactics of the werewolves and the magic of the vampires they would eventually become the victor at a costly sacrifice to do so but the price was worth it was believed any strays was hunted down and killed before a new clan would arise, as far as the vampires and werewolves know. The black wolf is the last of his clan and attempts to track and kill have proved difficult as it was highly cunning and seems to know when its actively been targeted and evades unless it decides to show itself.
