Some time ago I proposed a science fiction game based on the Expanse novels and SciFi/Amazon show The Expanse using the Green Ronin The Expanse RPG. Initially that got a little traction but once I repurposed an old pirate themed club to run it it went nowhere.

Is there any interest in a game centered around a single ship owned and operated (whether stolen or not) by the player characters? My thought had been the dynamics of the polyamorous belter crew/families from the novels seemed interesting and well suited to ED's intimate bent. However, if that's not if any interest, is there a science fiction setting or game that would interest anyone?

well my character creation process somewhat involves the system we are using, more specifically the limits of a system. for example a character I was interested in for a super hero based TTRPG was based around her multiplying herself to be a swarm in a fight with a villain, or as a fun way to have orgy when she felt like it. depending on the system, a similar clone trooper-esk "im kinda playing all the disposable grunts" style character could be neat.

if thats not feasible for the system, then it would somewhat depend on what the system allows, if its cortex like what is happening over in the tower of the lewd wizard then I can make say... a mechanic focused around experimental upgrades she sneaks into the ship, that can have absolutely amazing pay offs when they work, but backfire horribly when they dont. a tad eccentric, and tad playful, and a tad of a menace to society.

if its DND reskinned into a scifi setting I have had a desire to play a exotic alien monk girl whos mobility makes he fly around the battlefield, and that flexibility... well makes a few men on the ship quite happy...

it is hard for me to concretely decide what I want to do without knowing the... edges of the sandbox we are going to play in :3
