Ah. In other things....man finding decent alien pictures is so difficult when you don't wanna just make a different colored human but also don't want them to be horrible eldritch monstrosities or demons but in space. I've already done one furry creature so trying not to do that again but its real tempting to just fall back on that.

Rie talks, thats just part of her character. Threatening Rie won't really get anyone anywhere, its usually the threat to others that'll slow her down. Rie will fight and is very much willing to die doing so. Really threatening her directly is a good way to trigger her temper which I mentioned. Its a flaw she has that she hasn't worked past yet. For the type of character Rie is it was just a bad situation to be in. Some situations just play against certain characters natures. It would be if it plays out that way. Like I said could, no idea what the future holds. She could become more fanatical or mellow out depending on things that happen. I leave it open for the most part characters dying because they become too set on a path is a thing I've done before. Its always possible. Who knows.

Nah as I said in that type of situation for Rie is was damned if you do, damned if you don't. I don't really think any character did anything counter to their make. If they ever become friends that a very 'against all odds' situation cause at best I could only see them just barely tolerating the fact that the other is breathing if they're in the same room. Rie is and will likely remain a die-hard, humanity loving magical girl but who knows what the future holds. She could end up being an enemy even if she feels they align too much with dark forces. It would just be really funny but for now, even once the girls return she'll be solo to makes thing a bit easier for these characters.

If they ever meet again she'd at least be a little more willing to act more peaceable especially if at least one of the people she considers a friend is more or less tied to them especially if informed that she's not exactly a demon. Rie is 'Humanity and Friends of Humanity first' type with a specific dislike for demons at the moment. Obviously she'd just have to accept it regardless (made easier by her returning to be a Lone Magical Girl soon). She's just gonna want to make sure they're alright though and remain worried.

Assuming you mean Tamamo-no-Mae when you say that then Kami would basically be the opposite of Youkai at least in Japanese terms. I dunno her origin lol Yokai are specifically ghosts / Supernatural monsters while they're kinda natural they're still set apart. They're weird and strange. Aberrations to what should be. Kami are a natural even if they can be kinda (very) evil at times. Eh its fine to have that mystery. I don't really classify No.690 because what it/she could be are all similar enough that it doesn't matter. Just get Mac the flamethrower.

Yeah it might be good to have places where people can sort of jump in and out when they aren't involved or able to be involved in the plots (or maybe if they're shy and just kinda wanna throw a post out and see who jumps in). Time would definitely be a thing to watch for though yeah might help with a lull if characters leave a scene. Also if Shinigami is anything like her namesake would she be a spirit of some sort? Not necessarily a ghost like most think but given her description she seems natural like most Kami. Not really things you can necessarily exorcise but appease or ward against.

Technically my characters my characters are everywhere and nowhere until otherwise directed but yeah (so if anyone wants to interact with them there that is indeed an option. All of them are free right now.) Actually that brings up a small question I have Would it be possible to have Location story topics? Nothing tied to specific stories but just locations kinda similar to the convention like [X] city or whatnot that pretty much anyone could use or do they all need to be for specific events? Would probably be difficult to keep up timing I guess though.

I mean that's pretty much what the Magical Knights are. I went in a more Toku inspired direction for mine.

Well you could make a character. And after that it'd probably be easier to see where you can slot in or whose open.

"Don't worry about it." was all she could really think to say to Azrael. It appears to me that the purpose of Earthlings sound receptors are not to listen be they demon or human. Its certainly not effected by the size of their auricles.. What a curious evolution. I do wonder what their....I believe they call them ears are even good for. The general thought to himself as the other knight seemed to have, with no hesitation, misunderstood what the general thought to be a fairly simple series of sounds. Perhaps human language was inefficient? He merely smiled "Of course not, nor was I insinuating such but I can't say I've come to meet many heroes with a willingness to find sacrifices. I am merely suggesting that would hardly fit a noble image." but regardless it looked like this whole situation was...well...becoming rather trite if it hadn't started that way. Despite the suggestions he offered he was ignored and the Fox and the other two ladies seemed to continue on with their odd desire for tragedy. He merely sighed and threw his hands up. Earthlings. "Ah....how trite." he said realizing what was going on. There really wasn't much to be learned. He shrugged and turned on his heel to make his way out and leave them to it. Perhaps there would be more interesting scenes elsewhere. Rie on the other hand had made a decision and once this was over she'd need to speak to her team leader on it. It wasn't something she wanted to do but given things it was only for the best that she did it. She didn't like the idea of Jumi or Mitsuko going with this demon but Mitsuko was more than determined and Jumi well...that was her girlfriend. Rie was never wrong about these things realistically. She would blow a small stream of air from her lips but she knew it was pointless to stop them. Rie wasn't going to hate herself over this but she was frustrated with the whole affair. A celebration ruined all thanks to some dumb fox. Rie did what any Magical Protector should do but the enemy here as beyond their means...or at least most of their means. She didn't now anything about the new knight of course but he seemed wholly unconcerned. Rie meant her words. Death before giving in but it wasn't her choice to make. She just looked to Jumi and sighed and watched her state her...if shaky desire to follow. She was trapped. "Tch. I'm still a healer. I don't need to be on a team to do that but I'll watch 'em in the meantime. Just don't take too long with this nonsense please? I want you two safe......and I'd like to resign in a reasonable amount of time if its all the same to you." and of course she'd speak to the cat but frankly Nall might as well have gone. Rie just turned her back and walked off "Better you open that barrier before I chew through it." she spoke to Azrael while they had their moment. She needed to go hit something. What an utterly worthless day. (Last post from my characters in this.)

Nah the general is just wordy but I reduced it down. He's just cutting to the quick of the matter....but he also definitely clowning a little bit cause it's funny to him. As for Rie and Mitsuko. Yeah just kinda how it's gone. Rie doesn't dislike Mitsuko though.

Lol Anji doesn't know that though he's mostly remarking on it. He did like the pragmatism cause outside of his disguise he's absolutely just toss some random people in to get eaten.

Note: Anji isn't calling Azrael a villain just that his suggestion to take the demon to devour the souls of warriors is a little villainous sounding.

Look I'm not even mad and haven't been. I didn't think the request would bother you that much so.... I'm not gonna discuss this further. I really don't feel the need to defend one of very the few lines I have. If its an issue for you? That's fine. I have a different rp history and the habits and expectations that come with. No worries. I'll be the one keeping it in mind going forward. No harm. No foul. I ran with it for my reason and thought to bring it up then. I did enjoy the story playing out regardless however

Rie, as if in defiance of the mood, turned around rapidly with a shine in her eyes as Jumi spoke up to defend her "Jumi defending me? I need to write that down!" though the names she spoke of did calm her down. Those names...weren't they...? She hardly had time to ponder as Azrael spoke up again and Rie could only loo at him blankly "I found it lacking." she said "And stop switching the characters of my name. Its not Rei its Rie." but strange lull in the situation would be broken by another turn of events. Much to Rie's confusion the roles switched. The demoness was more than ready to prove her own point and Rie was more than ready to let it happen to prove hers but then....Mitsuko again and this time she was offering to sacrifice herself. Rei blinked a few times. It was a sweet display made so much less sweet due to that look she was given which Rie only returned with a wrinkle of her nose. Really Rie was just more confused but they got what she wanted....she was quiet. Attempts to hold back a laugh would come from the side however as the man from before had his face buried in his book as if to hide "Kepph-What an adorable display! Snrt-" he said trying hard not to completely lose it. He would lower the book when he was sure he would burst out into fits. He closed the book again. "Careful Sir you could be mistaken for a villain talking like that. I do admire the pragmatism but it doesn't fit your image to be so willing to sacrifice others with so little hesitation. Still you've worked to protect them so to that I say....bravo." he advised as he opened his book and began to speak into it. Truthfully he was keeping records, of course, and this group was quite the entry. Rie nodded her head "Yeah were were you even-" The man clicked his tongue "Oh nonono. He hummed admonishing Rie a little bit which she bared her teeth at but didn't say anything. He looked to Mitsuko "I'd say the same goes for you really. Brave but I'm afraid this wouldn't make for a good epitaph despite the good intentions. 'This fool died for another fool who was ready to die all in an argument with another fool' maybe the subject of a rousing comedy but not good on a tombstone." and then to Jumi who he would stare at and then looked at the other two. He would look at her again "Truthfully the same for you but a rose is often overlooked for this thorns. I have no doubt you'd have sprung into action for your friend but...should you? Questions for later." He hummed and clicked his tongue "Oh no." she said hearing the demon's words as he looked up almost laughing again "There is no misunderstanding prompting their desire for your expulsion. You are not unwelcome for what you devour but for what you are. There is no simple panacea to the long standing and frankly justifjed animosity between your kind and the protectors of those "Lower life forms" as you so lovingly called our charges." Though truthfully he agreed with the notion. "If anything this interaction has achieved the opposite." he said and closed the book though he didn't care if she even tried to put that mark upon him. He did, luckily, find this creature interesting. He was sure that there were other demons perhaps but they had some semblance of understanding to not reveal themselves. She smiled however "So now that we're all calm and some modicum of understanding can be reached my suggestion still does stand. I don't suggest parading this demon out and about but its quite easy to move around unnoticed or if you have a disguise. If nothing else do something about your repugnant aura. This entire operation will fall apart otherwise if other protectors notice it." he tossed his book up and down over and over "Now lets hurry this up. Those er.....hotdogs are calling our names." what strange food earthlings had. Rie sighed and closed her eyes thinking for a moment if she should even bother to stay...or go. Perhaps she needed to see Alexandrine not to tell her the exact specifics of this situation but.... She just didn't now. She was unsure for the first time in a good while.

What part of discuss with me beforehand isn't registering? Do you not talk story with people beforehand? I do, hence why Rie didn't just barge in until I got the okay. The new guy I introduced didn't just tear down the door. Its only fine with me cause I register my own mistake in not realizing it before the moment came cause that, again, is wild to me. In my long career of rping this has pretty much never been a thing to worry about cause most people understand just auto-apply something is bad etiquette. Even the healing Rie did earlier came with the caveat that you agreed that it worked and allowed it. I get its a spell but given its nature yes..I just appreciate these things being discussed it with me beforehand. There is a conflicting basis here and it seems to be in what you and I are okay with or at least how we prefer them handled.

I said going forward. I ran with it regardless, but I am asking for such things to be discussed going forward. I don't care if its a story gimmick, I'm not comfortable with that sort of thing unless discussed prior. It is a neat story thing in this case. I'm not even complaining, I just explained the situation as I saw it. Don't see why this is so difficult for you. I'm fine with Rie being hit by it. I ran with it, and still am. I'm saying I'm not okay with being automatically hit by something. I didn't realize that it was just an auto-place because that is wild to me so I didn't forsee it but instead of putting a hold on it I moved with it..which is again was my fault but I'm saying it now. Its not even just for you, this just happens to be the situation where in the short time I've been here something like it came up. If anyone else did anything like it we'd be having the discussion still. Its harmless here but its for future reference

There is no reason to be told anything but no. They're her enemies. I don't think its carebearing to exercise some courtesy in an rp as simple as not auto-hitting maybe its because I generally am used to a much more rigid structure in rp but generally I allow people to react to things and at best describe the possible result if they do take the hit or anything like that. Its different from like little physical things like hand holding and all that. Its fine if others and you are good with it but for me thats crossing lines. I'm not saying it can't be done, I'm not going to hit you with a no in every case or start auto-dodging or anything. I just don't appreciate it, I don't do it to others for a reason. That still wouldn't stop the gamble and even with that it still wouldn't make sense to start playing nice with her. Its not like they know her and her having the name she does wouldn't exactly prove it to her. Its all whatever though. We can continue onward with what we've learned here.
