  1. Accommodations Command Staff and Ambassadors The largest of the Quarters belongs to the Command Staff and the Ambassadors. The rooms are provided to them as rather plain and nondescript, though they are able to decorate them however they wish. This allows visiting Diplomats to bring a little of their home with them to make them more comfortable. It is kitted out with the most high tech of human technology. They have access terminals that are voice or touch activated, which can be used to access public information, make calls or store information. The bedroom and the small bathroom do not have any windows giving a view of outer space, however, the seating and kitchen area does. This allows them to peer out into space, or at the planet the station orbits. If they get tired of the space view, however, the thick glass (activated by voice or touch) can display whatever the user wants. It will dim the outside part of the window and display the images that were wanted. This can be Entertainment feeds, a scene from their planet or they can choose from a range of default 'landscapes'. This landscapes are images from Earth, Ashaea or one of their colonies which can whatever you wish to be. The default ones may also contain some images from different species homeworlds, as Andromeda One may ask for some when a new Ambassador is coming onto the station. They would obviously be alright if the answer is no. Each quarters are their own space and, unless an Ambassador does something to get expelled from the Station, they are free to do as they wish within. They have the capability to prepare food, as they have a working water dispenser, oven, heating pad, fridge/freezer, water boiler and extraction, as well as also having storage for their own food. The furniture within can be replaced by whatever the occupant wants. The bathroom has the usual toilet facilities and has real water showers that they can use, but also have the option of a sonic shower that gets any dirt and grease off the user. Basic Quarters These are the basic quarters for the command staff and Ambassadors. It isn't very exciting, but it can be changed to something much more suitable to the occupants choice. (Room concept by Bulgarian design studio BOZHINOVSKI DESIGN) Basic Bedroom Again, this is the image for the basic command staff and Ambassador bedroom. It's very plain, but all the facilities are there, including a small bathroom. It can be changed to something much more suitable to the occupants choice. (Room concept by KLab Architecture) Standard Quarters The standard quarters are for anyone that can afford it. This includes station workers, merchants or temporarily for those passing through. These quarters consist of two rooms; the main living area with a kitchen and dining room, and bedroom with a small bathroom. The bathroom has the toilet facilities and a sonic shower. Near the entrance of the main room is a small kitchen to the right when seen from the entrance, and a small table that seats two to the left. Directly in front of the door is the bedroom area that will either have a single bed, or a double which costs slightly more. It often comes with a clean, simple pillow and a thin sheet as the temperature can be controlled within the room. This area also has a little more shelving and storage for clothes and other items. For the rooms that are up against the outer hull of the Station, occupants can fully enjoy a view of space. Like with the Ambassador's quarters, the outside of the windows can be dimmed and images of the occupants choice made to cover the screen. This is voice and touch activated. They also have an access terminal that is voice and touch activated. It can access communications and public information, and store information. Their own personal computer is cleaned when they leave the quarters and give up ownership of them. They are free to leave the quarters whenever they wish, either for jobs, shopping or to hang out with friends. If they commit crimes on the station, they may spend some time in the jails, or even be kicked off the station. Main room This is where the occupant prepares and eats their meals (if they choose not to eat out), and spend their time when not sleeping, working, or just spending time elsewhere in the station. While it isn't seen in the image itself, opposite the kitchen area is a small table suitable to sit two people. There is also a set of shelves by the door where the occupant can store things. This is all that there are in the standard quarters, except the terminal. (3D Room concept by Daniel Brown CGI) Bedroom While it appears to be larger than the main room, it is not. It has a single, small bed, with the rest of the space is given to storage, that you cannot see clearly in the image. But most of the floor space is clear and there is plenty of space to move around. There is an option for a room with a double bed, but as said above, it is slightly more expensive. (Unknown concept designer) Shared Quarters The shared Quarters are the cheapest of the quarters on the station. You often have no say as to who you are sharing with, so it may be with complete strangers. Each room comes with four beds and a single wardrobe, with a pull out stool. The space is tiny, and is only really used for sleeping. The beds come with a blanket and pillow that is fresh each time someone rents out one of the beds. Your items can be stored in secure lockers within the room itself, by the door. The room itself is also temperature controlled (though you’ll have to fight three other occupants over the settings), and comes with its own life support system. There is also a tiny bathroom with two small showers and toilets. There is no kitchen in the quarters themselves, but there is a communal kitchen that is shared between four rooms. It is large enough to allow several people to cook at the same time. Another alternative would be to seek out food elsewhere on the station. Room This is an image of what part of the bedroom looks like. There are two bunk beds per room, making a total of four beds. Lockers are provided to keep belongings safe. There is also a small door leading to the bathroom. It is small, but perfect if you are low on money or only staying for a night or two. (Unknown concept designer) Communal Kitchen This kitchen is shared between four shared rooms. It is fully stocked with the utensils needed, which are chipped so that they set off an alarm if someone attempts to remove them, thus summoning security. It appears large, but that is because it is equipped to serve several people at once. (Room concept by Stephen Geaghan)
  2. Station Inhabitants Station Staff The Station Staff are the ones that keep Andromeda Station up and running, and making sure that order is kept. The staff list is large, from the Captain to Cleaners. They are all NPC and are generally polite and helpful. They try and make sure that everyone has a place to sleep and are kept safe, although there is a limit as to how much they can do. In an attempt to keep the crime levels down, they try and make sure that those living on the station have a job in which to earn money, but there aren’t always jobs available and they are not allowed to send people away from the station if they cannot afford to do so. While the staff are generally polite, sometimes a situation has occurred where station staff have been unfair to those on board, however they are always punished for their behaviour. The Commander of the station acts as the Ambassador from Earth, and thus is usually present at public meetings. They will try to be fair to all, and be good with the other ambassadors, while trying to keep the station running smoothly. His command staff help, helping direct flow of space traffic in and out of the station. A list of the command staff is laid out below (While NPC, they are playable by me. Just let me know if you need a character to interact with one of the Commanding staff. If what you’re after falls within the scope of the character, then there shouldn’t be a problem but I will ask what you want from them.): Station Commander: Name: Alexander Churchill Rank: Captain Information: Captain Alexander Churchill is a distinguished military man who took control of the Andromeda Station not long after it became operational. He is firm but fair in his command style, expecting no more from his staff than what he would do himself. He wants to keep the population on the station as safe as possible, while wanting to keep the peace between different races and species. He is approachable, and tries his best to listen to all sides of the story, but he would make his opinion known. He is very honest and straightforward with everyone. He doesn’t waste time beating around the bush, so is very blunt and to the point. He has been involved in wars and skirmishes against the NRSA. He has many medals of distinction awarded for his actions during the fighting, marking him as a fierce warrior and capable officer. He is Ashaean, and comes from the Ashaean homeworld in the Epsus Galaxy. (Character from Hetalia) 1st Officer: Name: Karla Stewart Rank: Commander Information: Born in Russia on Earth, Karla is second in command on the station after the Captain. Like he is, she is firm but fair in her dealings with station inhabitants. She is quite headstrong and stubborn, which does cause her to clash with colleagues or other station inhabitants, but she will admit if she has been wrong. Despite her headstrong nature, she tries to be fair to those on the station, and attempts to appear approachable, however, she is well known for her headstrong nature. Like the Captain, she has served in several wars, and was even commanding one of the ships that helped turn the tide in the war with the terrorist group on Mars, after the original Captain had died. Her main duty on the Andromeda Station is to help things run smoothly, and is in charge of deciding which ships can dock at the station. (Character from Armored Core) Chief of security: Name: Christopher Barnes Rank: Lieutenant Commander Information: Christopher, like the Captain and the Second in Command, served in several wars. He was not a soldier like they were, but he was a very good tactician that helped several campaigns become successful. While not in the wars, he was a Police Officer on Earth, and thus decided to become Chief of Security when the Andromeda Station opened up. He’s very good at getting to the bottom of crimes, and doesn’t like others coming along and taking control of an investigation he is leading. Christopher sometimes doesn’t appear to take his job very seriously, but it is one of the things that he feels is most important to him. So while he may appear laid back and lazy, he will focus completely on his job. He does, however, have a problem with alcohol as well as a love for Looney Toons. He was born in the United States, on Earth. Chief Medical: Name: Daniel Tucker Rank: Commander Information: Coming from the Ashaean homeworld, Daniel is a kind, compassionate man, who will treat any patient regardless of his personal feelings, and regardless of who they are. He sees everyone as a potential patient to treat. He doesn’t like to anger or upset people in day to day conversation, but when there is a patient that he needs to treat, he will become completely focused on them. He is efficient in his command of his staff, giving them tasks that help increase the chances of a patient's survival. He is very dedicated to his job, and will often forgo sleeping or eating in order to help someone. He’s also very dedicated to his research. (Character from Nico Nico Singer) Permission to dock a ship will be required. If there is a large ship that does not have transportation technology, then they will be required to orbit the station or planet, and send a shuttle to dock with the station. Landing on the planet also requires permission and even then, only Scientific expeditions are allowed. Dock workers work hard to assign a ship a docking bay and to quickly unload any cargo ships. They are efficient and, for the most part, polite. An extension of the Dock Workers include what is affectionately known as "Quartermasters" whose job is to assign visitors with quarters that they can afford. They arrange rent payment, and help people settling in. They are also the ones to go to if you have no job or money. They will attempt to find you a job and quarters so that you can save up to get off of the station. The Quartermaster: Name: Lydia Crawford Rank: Lieutenant Information: Lydia hasn’t served in many fights or wars, but she is very good at organising places for people to sleep, and food for them to eat, as well as jobs that they can do. She enjoys being able to assign beds and jobs to people, as the organisational side of things is very satisfying to her. She is quite kind and sweet, however she will not allow anyone to take advantage of her or make her do what she doesn’t want. She is very approachable, and does her best to help everyone that needs it. (Drawn by artist Itori of Setsuko Ohara in Super Robot Wars) Around the station are various restaurants and bars. These are usually owned by businessmen, as well as other civilians, making a living on the station. They will need to pay a charge to the station for renting out space for your establishment. They have their own on-site kitchens to prepare their food. These restaurants and Bars can be a location within the Andromeda Station, and would require an Extra Information with details like the food they sell and opening times, as well a description. It is the same as any shops that are on the station as well. While you need to pay for the best medical care, there are a number of free clinics that can be used by those who cannot afford it. They are not expected to pay for this, and get the best treatment possible for the limited resources the Clinics have (which considering the advancements, this can help people with a lot of problems). To prevent abuse from the richer who can afford to pay for their own treatment, the free care is only available to those who cannot afford it. Ambassadors Ambassadors are the representatives of the races that reside here on the station. They negotiate treaties, among other things, with other governments. While they can still be held accountable by their own government, while at the Andromeda Station they have Diplomatic Immunity, which means they are free from prosecution; however, an Ambassador committing crimes on the Andromeda Station will be expelled from the station to return home, and a replacement asked for. They have their own quarters that are paid for by their own government. They attend weekly meetings set up by the human Commander, who is also an Ambassador for Earth. If you have created your own race, and wish for them to be an Ambassador, then you are free to do so. However they will need a Species Extra Information Thread in the Extra Information Thread that gives details about the species. The Ambassador can be one of your playable characters, and will take up a character space. If you wish for them to have an assistant, you can either have someone else play them, have them as another major character, or make them into a minor character for your Ambassador. Station Residents Most of the residential population on Andromeda Station is made up of people of all species that earn enough to afford good sized quarters. They are either going through the station and pausing for a break, waiting for another ship, or they own a business on the station. There are those within this group that work on the station in various jobs, like being a nurse, mechanic or cleaner. Unless they have committed a crime, they are free to roam the station as they wish, but have to stay out of restricted areas like the command bridge and maintenance rooms (like the power core). There is a section of the station often referred to as "Down Below". This is where people who have little money, no job or quarters. It is quite often the case that the station has no jobs or cheap quarters available, causing the population in this part of the station. Down below is only lightly Policed; as such crime is high in this area, and Ambassadors are advised never to enter. In Down Below, there is a high chance that someone can be mugged, assaulted and even murdered. The conditions are poor, often having little in the way of hygiene or space. Occasionally a gang can appear but Station Security try to keep that down to a minimum. Things such as gambling and prostitution are common in this part of the station which often adds to the crime of this area, due to problems that can arise such as people getting into debt with the wrong people, or the sexual assault of a prostitute. People here sleep whenever and wherever they can, getting a very tiny and cramped cabin if they are lucky. This leaves people vulnerable and open for assault. In Down Below there are several Free Clinics, where the population of Down Below can get free medical care only available to people living in that part of the station. Despite the bad conditions, the Station Staff always try and find these people a job that pays enough to get them into better accommodation and into a better part of the station, or even a way to get them off of the station. Due to the fact that it is a dangerous place to go, and because it is lightly policed, it provides a good place to hold discussions that some might not want to be overheard.
  3. The Station This is an image of the station in orbit of the planet below. The station is several miles long, and is the only station within the system. There is a jump gate near the station, allowing ships to go to and fro between the station and the Milky Way Galaxy. This has allowed them to begin friendships among the aliens within the Andromeda Galaxy. The station orbits around the planet below it, powered by an immense power core that generates power, as well as absorbing solar power from the sun. This ensures that they have more than enough power to be used by the inhabitants. For air and water, the station has numerous purification plants that recycle the air and water, to remove impurities and mix more oxygen into the air. All the quarters have much smaller air and water filtration, so that someone could be isolated within a room and still be able to survive. This only occurs in dire emergencies such as an attack or disaster, like an asteroid colliding with the station. Due to the fact that it is a civilian station, and due to the amount of traffic going in and out of the station, it has no full use shields. It would have to turn them down every time a ship wanted to leave, or enter, so they only have an emergency shield that can be used for short periods of time. This means that ships would be unable to leave or enter the Station when the shield is active. It also has a defence system of powerful turrets that cover the station and allow it to fire in multiple directions. This not only defends the station from attackers, but also defends against asteroids heading towards them. When ships come to dock at the station, they have to communicate with the station and await the signal to dock with it. The docking bay is (Relative to the image shown above) on the back side of the station. Currently, only small and medium sized vessels are able to dock directly with the station, while larger ships either have to transport passengers aboard or use a smaller ship for the transfer. Docking procedures must be obeyed, otherwise it could cause a serious accident that may take a while to clear out. Once docked, the ship can then be left by the passenger(s). The dock workers will unload the ship, or perform maintenance if they are paid to do so (Unless it's a ship of alien design, then they may not have the experience to do so.). If a passenger is looking to stay at the station for a period of time it is best to seek out the Quartermasters, who will be more than happy to assign them quarters and show where all the facilities are, providing that the passenger has the money for it. While at the station, all visitors and civilian residents are free to roam where they wish, as long as they stay clear of the off-limit areas of the ship such as the command centre and the engineering rooms. Staff have the same freedom, but are allowed into restricted areas if they have the right clearance. For example, Command staff are able to enter the command centre, whereas the dock workers couldn't. If anyone attempts to go into an area they are not supposed to, they will be confronted by security and asked about their intentions. If they suspect that it may be someone with a malicious intent, then they may arrest them for questioning. But otherwise, unless characters are committing a crime, they will not be bothered by the staff (unless it's an important plot device). The station is protected by several squadrons of Star Fury fighters; Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta, Epsilon and Zeta Wings. Each wing consists of nine fighters, giving them a total of fifty-four fighters. These are small and maneuverable fighters that have four main thrusters at the back, with smaller ones set in all directions allowing for quick turning. This makes them extremely agile and when in a swarm they can be tough to deal with. They are armed with pulse cannons and are piloted by a single trained pilot. (Starfury image from the Sci-Fi series Babylon 5) The station is also protected by a series of heavy weapons that cover all sides of the station, allowing for omni-directional attacks on enemy ships. These include heavy pulse cannons and primitive phaser technology. They also have warheads that deal a lot of physical damage. These weapons allow the station to fight off most threats, barring much more advanced starships. They are able to fire out of the shields, while preventing enemy fire from hitting the station. An image of what one would expect one of the centre ring corridors to look like (Occulus Sci-Fi Corridor demo by mdk) The station is comprised of three main parts. The centre of the station, with the two rotating rings. The two rings slowly spin around the station and are the means in which the gravity is generated. Both of the rings are given away for living quarters, for all station inhabitants. The central part of the station is where all the operations of the station are conducted such as power generation, and station administration. The centre has a location, wrapping around the central part that leads into the second accomodation ring. This place is filled with the docked ships, and restaurants where individuals can move around freely. This is called the Main District, and is where inhabitants of the station can do their shopping or eat out. Those coming onto the station must pass through the Main District in order to get to the habitation rings. The command Centre is at one end of the station (The one visible in the image) and is off-limits to most of the station occupants, including a vast chunk of the station work force. On the far end of this central part, are the docking bays, as well as the main power core. The power core is, again, off-limits to most of the stations occupants. Unless a character has received special permission to be there by the station staff, they will be prevented by security from entering. (This means permission from the roleplay owner. You will need permission from me to enter all off-limit areas) Down Below This is an image of what one of the corridors in Down Below look like. (Star Citizen concept art) Despite the best efforts of the station staff, they are not able to house everyone free of charge, nor find everyone a job. Many people come to the station, under the illusion that the station would help provide a better life for them. For most of these people, they come to realise that their dreams would never come true here. While they may have some money, unless they can find a decent job, their money will run out and they would no longer be able to afford to live on the station. They are not even able to afford passage off of the station, either, so they remain trapped. Most find themselves on the decks of 'down below', a very poor area that is rife with crime which is situated on one of the decks of the first ring. It can be very dangerous, unless a person knows how to defend themselves properly. Due to the crime levels it is only lightly policed, as they have had numerous security officers murdered on duty. This means that a large number of illegal activities happen here. Drugs, gambling and prostitution are just a few examples. This is a place where, if you find a quiet corner, conversations will not be overheard. But without the proper protection, it is not advised to go Down Below. There are a number of clinics where residents of these levels can receive free treatment, despite the risk to the medical staff. The station tries to help everyone that they can, but the unfortunate truth is that they cannot provide housing and jobs to everyone, especially when they are flooded with people. They also cannot afford to be able to send them home, but they really do try their best. This is a problem that has existed since the station was made publicly open.
  4. Andromeda One Station This is an image of the station in orbit of the planet below. The Andromeda One Space Station is a large civilian run Station in a neutral part of space, construction completed in 2506. It orbits a large, Earth-like planet that is not claimed, and cannot be claimed by any one government, as it is considered an Intergalactic Planet. The only people allowed down to the surface are Scientists who want to study the planet and its ecology. It has an atmosphere breathable by humans, with slightly higher levels of oxygen. It has a unique ecosystem that Scientists find fascinating. The Andromeda One Station was set up by the Earth Alliance and the Ashaean’s to act as a centre for representatives of any races to converge and negotiate with each other in the interests of peace. It acts as a go-between for the Milky Way Galaxy and the Andromeda Galaxy. Earth believes that one day, the two Galaxies would merge, and hopes to befriend their distant neighbours. Ambassadors from many different civilisations reside here, from both the Milky Way and Andromeda. It provides them a place to talk and negotiate with each other. Before the creation of this station, humans had found a Jump Gate within the Milky Way Galaxy that was active, keeping a wormhole open. After careful study, they found that this wormhole connected to another Jump Gate in the Andromeda Galaxy. They were never able to find out who placed the gates there, or why, though here were some inconclusive theories. Using this chance, they set up the Andromeda One Station to communicate with the new species they would encounter. Travel is possible both ways through these gates that connect the station to the Milky Way. Not only is this a chance for representatives of different cultures to meet and talk with each other, it is also a chance for trade to occur between species. Anyone trying to make money, or find new opportunities, flock to the station in hopes of becoming rich. However, not everyone is able to make it big. As a result, there are a large number of poor people unable to afford passage off the station. The station attempts to house them, as well as provide jobs for them; however, they have limited space and jobs. As a result there is part of the station where crime is high, with little comfort, where Security have a hard time keeping the crime levels down. This area is extremely dangerous, and seedy exchanges can occur with little to no notice. Some of the places in the Andromeda One Station will get a bit of a description here; however, some of the much larger places will have their own Extra Information, which will be linked below as it would be far too much information to contain to this single extra information. Despite being in their own extra information, they are linked to Andromeda but may have their own limits in place. As the extra information is approved before it is added to this list, the limits must be observed to be able to roleplay in Andromeda. 5. Andromeda One Station (NASA Ames/SETI Institute/JPL-Caltech) In a neutral zone on the edge of the Andromeda Galaxy, in the darkness of space, lies a Space Station. This is the Andromeda One Station, in the system of Churchill's Legacy. Within the same solar system as the station is a jump gate that links to the Milky Way Galaxy, and Earth. On the station, Merchants come from all over both Galaxies for a chance to trade with other races. This station is run by humans, but is home to hundreds of alien species that are there for trade. Not only does it serve as a place of commerce, it is also a platform for Diplomatic parties of various species to come and speak to one another in a neutral part of space, as fighting and wars are not allowed to occur. The station is heavily armed to oppose any violent ships intent on war. Here you can create your own race, with their own culture and rules. Have them come to the station to trade or negotiate with others. How could it ever go bad? Skill level: Expert Relevant links: Extra Information (A must read) Character ID Out of Character Rules: EcchiDreams Standard Roleplay Rules, plus: Posts must be at least one paragraph long, with a good amount of detail, and with good grammar and spelling (barring mistakes). Anything less than a paragraph, such as a one line post, will be removed and the member in question requested to not do that again. If you consistently post less than a paragraph, then your posts will be removed and you will be asked to leave the roleplay. No one can make a character that is of one of the Epsian/UFF species without my strict permission. Also, non-Epsian/UFF species will not be allowed to wander onto the property/territory of Epsian/UFF species without permission. If a character attempts to trespass, they will be met with potentially lethal hostility. The exceptions being The Wet Hole, and Jen’starrs Bar and Restaurant, as these serve customers on the Andromeda Station. Anyone is able to create their own species, and have them have their own planet/territory in space as well as an ambassador. However it will require a very detailed extra information before it can be added to the list of related extra information.
  6. The first sounds that assaulted Lexi when she first regained consciousness was not, as she expected, the constant hum of ship engines, but of the shrill shrieks of insects. Groggy at first, she briefly wondered if it was her co-pilot pulling a prank on her. But something felt very wrong. The air was warm, with a hint of moisture. There was also a gentle breeze that ruffled her hair gently and a sound she had not heard in a long time. The gentle rasp of leaves swaying in the wind. A loud gasp escaped her lips as Lexi sat up, her eyes wide and alert as she was no longer in the slumbering state she had once been in. The blonde girl looked around her, every sense alert and her slim frame taunt in readiness. She could hear blood rushing through her veins as her heart beat frantically in her chest, which rose and fell along with her laboured breathing. What was going on? The last thing she had remembered was stumbling into her cabin after a 48-hour shift and collapsing onto her bed without even bothering to unclothe herself. Her co-pilot had called a sicky and Lexi had been forced to be the pilot for just over 48 hours. She had been so exhausted at the end that she barely made it to her tiny cabin. And now she awoke… here. Looking up, past what she vaguely recognised as palm trees, she saw a breathtakingly blue sky. Had the sky always been that startling blue? The strange, eerie silence made her aware of other sounds past the shrieks of insects. Waves. A beach? Lexi turned her head in the direction of the sound, and gingerly stood up, planting her feet firmly on the ground. Had her co-pilot dumped her here as a practical joke? If so, it wasn’t funny! At least she had had the common decency to keep Lexi’s overalls and boots on. The blonde, human girl glanced down at her frame hugging black overall and her knee high boots. Breathing a sigh of relief, Lexi began towards the sound of the ocean. It didn’t take her long, a few minutes at most, before she reached the edge of the golden sanded shore. Squinting at the sunlight that harshly reflected off of the smooth sand, Lexi looked off over the water with a soft gasp. Never had she seen water so clean and blue! It was incredible! Lexi swore she even saw fish swimming around in the water. For several minutes she stood, stunned into silence by the beautiful scene before her. It was almost unreal. Almost like what one would see looking at a holiday advert for a tropical world. Tearing her eyes regretfully away from the sand and sea, she looked back at the palm trees that were lining the sand line. At least, they looked like palm trees. Lexi wasn’t sure if she was on Earth, or another planet. Either way, she needed to hunker down and wait for rescue. Hopefully that stupid co-pilot of hers would turn up soon and take her away. Lexi would never hear the end of it. Unknown to Lexi, her disappearance had only just been noticed, and the alarm sounded. Unknown to the blonde human, her co-pilot had nothing to do with this. And she was on this tropical island, all on her own, with no way of a rescue. Never again will she be able to traverse the expanse of space or fly another ship. Lexi moved slightly inland, keeping close to the shore and the water source it held. While she couldn’t drink it as is, she knew enough survival to get fresh water for herself at least. After a little wondering, she came across a plant with leathery looking leaves. After a few moments consideration, she tore some of the leaves off before bringing them back to a little area she had chosen. It was a tiny clearing with palm trees framing it. The reason there was a small clearing, was that there was sand in the middle, but Lexi didn’t mind that. It was good for a fire, without endangering the trees. She knelt down and fashioned a small contraption that when she put salt water in, would evaporate into clean water, and salt. The water for her to drink, and the salt to season any food. Once done, she began searching around for anything useful nearby. Her search yielded several rocks which she promptly put in a ring for a fire, and a few old and cracked cocoanut shells. Marvelling at her luck, she used one to go down to the shoreline and get some salt water. Luckily her boots were waterproof so she didn’t have to remove them and risk getting a cut which could become infected. Returning to her little camp, she put some water in her contraption and set it nearby her fire. Her next search was a little harder. Finding dry wood near a beach was harder than she had imagined, but finally she managed to get at least a couple of armfuls which might be able to last her the night, providing she was forced to stay here. Lexi hoped that she would be long gone by then. Sitting cross legged by her small ring of stones, she picked up a piece of what looked like stringy bark. Carefully, she tore it into string until it was as fine as hair. Lexi managed to get a few splinters in the process, but overall she was happy with the results. Next, she picked up a larger piece of wood, that was mostly slit down the middle. Tucking the hairy wood into the cut, she hollowed a little hole in the sand before laying the wood on top. Lexi grabbed another stick, planting it firmly in the middle of the hair wood and twisting it hard and fast. It was not as easy as she had hoped. There were a few times where she got close, but not quite to light that wood. Sweat beaded on her forehead and she muttered curses underneath her breath. Her arms burnt with the effort of twisting this piece of wood. Lexi almost didn’t see the sun beginning to descend in the sky. Finally, she blew one last time and saw a flicker of a flame. Delighted, she gently blew on it to encourage it to life. Finally, the flame was cackling gleefully under her tender ministrations, and was gently moved to the ring of stones. Slowly, Lexi added pieces of wood until she had a respectable fire going. Lexi had no sooner sat back to admire her handiwork than her stomach growled in protest at being neglected for so long. “Oh… wonderful… where the hell am I meant to get food from?” Lexi grumbled. The blonde looked up at the sun, before looking over the ocean with a sigh. Then, she sighed again and went in search for food. Thinking that her best bet would be to find some kind of water pool, she searched along the beach. Finally, she found one where the tide had just retreated from the pool. Peering inside, she grinned as she saw several fish looking creatures and something she swore was a crab of sorts. Kneeling on a rock beside the pool, she rolled up her sleeves, her sharp eyes fixed on the creatures in the pool. When a crab was close enough, she dipped her hand in and neatly picking it up off the pool bottom. She laid it upside down next to her, glancing around for a rock to kill it with. Finding one, she picking it up and smashed the crab several times until it stopped moving. Shuddering at the wasted life, Lexi turned her eyes back to the pool. One of the fish was yellow in colour, swimming around rather lazily. A few of them were rather large, almost as long as her arm. Deciding it best to try for the smaller ones, she made several attempts at catching them. They were surprisingly slippery, and she was forced to dig her nails into their scaled flesh. It made her shudder every time. By the time she had finished, she had four fish and the crab. Using a leathery leaf she had brought with her, she wrapped her dinner up and took it back to her camp. Along the way, she searched for wood for her fire, managing a few as she did so. When she returned to her camp, her fire had died down somewhat and was threatening to extinguish itself. Not wanting to go through the pain of getting another flame going, she gently coaxed it back to life before looking down at her catch. Sighing softly, she picked up one of the fish. She had nothing to skin it with, so she would be forced to cook it with it on. Unfortunately, it needed gutting. Looking at the rocks around her, she picked up the sharpest she had in an attempt to gut the fish she had. It was a messy job, and far from perfect, but finally she had taken the guts out and it was ready for cooking. Picking up a stick, she impaled the fish on it, before sticking it in the sand, hovering near the fire. Using some of the water in her cocoanut shells, she cleaned her hands, before settling down to get comfortable. The sky was beginning to darken, the sun a fiery glow on the horizon. Almost transfixed, Lexi watched the sun as it sank lower and lower into the waves, disappearing from her view. The orange glow the sun made in the sky gave way to brilliant blues and purples as the stars began winking into existence. Soon, all the light she had left was that of her fire. Lexi stared longingly at where the sun had descended, wishing that it would appear once more to light this strange and alien land. Never before had she felt this lonely and isolated. As much as she loved her own company, she did like the thought of being able to go to other people when she wanted. But here… she was all alone. Biting her lip, she turned her head towards the fire and her cooking fish. She turned her meal around to make sure that it was heated properly, before, almost absently, she glanced up at the sky. Her eyes did a double take and her mouth dropped at the stunning display that stretched from one horizon to another. Never before had she seen stars so stunning! The sky was a carpet of twinkling stars that seem to call to her. Lexi’s hands twitching, wishing that she was flying among the giant balls of fiery gas from one end of the Galaxy to the next. Never before had the urge taken her so strongly before… A popping snap startled her, and she glanced around wildly for a sign of danger. It took her a few moments to realise that it was her fire crackling. Giving a sigh of relief, she leaned forward to check her fish. Deciding that it was cooked enough, she picked up the stick and tore into the flesh. Her blue eyes widened and she made a moan deep in her throat. She usually hated fish, but this was amazing! And the skin was the best part! Savagely, she ate the fish, just leaving the head alone. She pulled the remains off and threw them down the beach away from her camp so she wasn’t visited by unwanted scavengers. Still feeling hungry, she gutted and impaled another fish, as well as putting the crab next to the fire to cook. It felt like forever before they were cooked, and she hungrily stuffed herself with the tasty morsels of food. The crab had a strange, sweet taste about it, but the flesh was tougher than she had thought. Nevertheless it was as delicious as the fish. When she had finished her meal, she took the remaining fish and hid it away at the root of a tree, behind leaves and shrubs. Hopefully no animals would find it. That done, she fed the fire more wood before curling up beside it. She shifted a few times, making a hollow out of the sand to get herself more comfortable. Well, today had not really gone as planned. She was still here, after all. No rescue ship here to take her away. She was to spend a lonely night on this beach. It was disturbingly quiet and devoid of the comforting sounds of technology. Just the waves, the insects and the rustling of leaves. The change disturbed her and made her feel even more uncomfortable than the silence of space. A chill crept over her. What if no one was coming back for her? What if she was left here… alone… forever? Lexi shuddered and screwed her eyes shut, trying to force those thoughts from her mind. Of course she wasn’t going to be here forever. A few days at most. She hoped. Lexi sighed mournfully and tried to settle down for the long wait until dawn. The next morning, Lexi awoke with a start, almost forgetting where she was for a few moments. She brushed sand off of her overall suit. She slowly looked around, her ears sharp and listening at every sound. All she could hear was the singing of insects and the rasping of the ocean waves. She groaned softly, before letting out a sigh. She was going to go mad with loneliness by the time they rescued her. Sighing, she revived her dying fire and uncovered the remaining fish and cooked them up. When they were done, she hungrily ate them before licking her fingers clean. She checked the condensation contraption for clean water and managed to get several mouthfuls. But it wasn’t enough. She needed to find a bountiful source of fresh water otherwise she was going to dehydrate easily in this heat. Sighing, she put some more wood on her fire and returned to the treeline of the beach. It was the easiest path and she was shielded from the sun by the leaves of the palm tree-looking vegetation. Lexi paused for a moment, staring at the waves that lapped lazily against the shore. It was her hope that she would be able to find some form of civilisation. She appeared to be on Earth, but there was something about it that just didn’t feel right. With a long sigh, Lexi began walking down the shore, trying to keep a mental map of where she was treading. If she was unable to find what she was looking for, then she at least wanted to find her way back to the camp she had made. Lexi peered into the forest that passed on beside her. The foliage appeared to be Earth-like. There were some trees that she didn’t recognise, that looked strange and alien to her. With a sigh she looked out across the water, trying to see if she could spot another land-mass. But as far as she could tell, there wasn’t any. Lexi turned to look at the path she was taking, continuing to move along, praying that she was able to find something. After walking a good distance along the beach, Lexi stopped suddenly, as a new sound came to her. The tumbling rush of water. Her eyes swept the sky, noticing that the star was high in the sky. She had been walking for a few hours. Her throat was burning with thirst and her stomach growled at her. Turning her attention back towards the new sounds, Lexi allowed her ears to guide her to the source. It was a river, that seems to burst from the thick jungle, tumbling over rocks before emptying itself into the ocean. The blonde woman moved inland slightly, following the course of the river until it was no longer turbulent. She looked at the water. It looks so crisp and clear, but her caution informed her that while it looked safe to drink, it might not be. However, she could see fish swimming around, fighting against the current of the fast moving river. Glancing around to make sure that she was safe, she felt down by the riverbank, reaching down into the water. It was surprisingly easy, as the current was forcing the fish back slightly, even as they fought vainly against it. So it was easy to simply pluck them out and flip them onto the ground before her where they flopped around. She had managed to pull at least five fish from the river, all at least as long as her arm. She should remember this spot; it was an easy food source. Using a stone, she easily and quickly killed the fish before using a vine that she spotted hanging from a tree, to tie them up. Then, returning to the beach, she headed back to her camp. When she arrived, her fire was almost dead. Wearily, she coaxed it back into life before she checked her water. It was only enough for a few mouthfuls. Wincing, she gulped it down before she putting more water into it to evaporate. She needed to return to that river and gather fresh water there so that she could boil it to make it safe to drink. Using the seawater was not a good alternative. With a sigh, Lexi pulled one of the large fish towards her, using her sharp rock to cut it open so that she could gut it. Throwing the waste aside, Lexi put it on a flat rock beside her fire to cook. While it was cooking, she wrapped the rest of the fish in leaves, before hiding them. While waiting for her fish to cook, she explored the forest around her, seeing if she could find something edible. She encountered a vine that grew around a tree, with large red fruit. Reaching up, she tugged it from the vine easily. It must be ripe. She squeezed it experimentally. It felt soft but she wasn’t sure if she should eat it. She turned back towards her camp, taking the fruit with her. Surely if it had any toxins, or poisons, they could be countered by cooking them. But then again, perhaps not. Lexi sat herself down and turned the fish over so that it would cook evenly. She stared out at the ocean, lost in thought. When were her crew going to come back for her? She had been here for at least a day. Surely that was long enough for a prank. She tried not to think about the fact that it might be possible that she had been abandoned here on this lonely island. Why would they even do such a thing? She had never done anyone any wrong. Granted, her co-pilot was often envious of Lexi, and harboured a deep dislike of her mainly due to her heritage. However there was no way that the envious bitch could have left Lexi down on this planet without anyone noticing. They would have stopped her, or at the very least forced her to turn around and return. Absently, she lifted the fruit to her lips and took a bite. She inhaled sharply, before giving a soft groan at the taste of the sweet flesh that seemed to melt on her tongue. It was juicy, too, the succulent liquid dribbling down her chin. Greedily, she pushed it back into her mouth with her fingers, before she began to tear at the flesh, hungrily eating it. She didn’t care of it was toxic, or poisonous. It was delicious and thirst quenching. When she had finished, she was left with a large, wrinkled seed. She knew she couldn’t eat that, so she tossed it back into the jungle before licking up every trace of the sweet liquid. She should find more of them; they were the best fruit she had ever had. When she had finished it, she let her hands drop down into her lap with a sigh, her deep blue eyes clouded with worry. She really hoped that they would come back for her soon. She could only survive here for so long. She wasn’t even sure if there were any predators, or hostile people. Shuddering, she looked about, her every sense straining to try and detect anything out of the ordinary. There wasn’t. Just the simple crash of the sea against the shore, and the rasp of the wind through the leaves and the crackling of her fire. She turned back to her fire, seeing that the fish she had put beside it appeared cooked. Pleased, she pulled it towards her, tearing the flesh from the bones and eating it hungrily. When she had finished, she carefully went down to the sea and cleaned her hands. Looking up, she saw that the star was very high in the sky now, and the air had turned very hot and humid. It was sapping at her energy, and now that she had had something to eat and drink, she felt very drowsy. With a yawn, she returned to her camp, putting more wood on the fire before she curled up next to it. Within moments, she was deeply asleep. Hours later, she was awoken suddenly as she felt a light pressure against her arm. Snapping her eyes open, her body tensing as she reacted to a possible danger. However, all she saw on her arm, was a small, golden creature. It sat upon her arm that was stretched on the sand before her face. The creature tilted its head at her, its faceted eyes glowing with purple and red colours. Lexi was acutely aware of a strong sense of curiosity, as well as an intense hunger that caused her stomach to twist. However she was too engrossed in the tiny creature to notice. It looked like a dragon; a very tiny one. It looked no larger than the palm of her hand. It had two fragile looking wings that were half-furled, as if wary of her. Its head was triangular in shape, its eyes appearing as it made up of hundreds of small facets that shifted and moved, the colours rippling across it. It had an eye ridge that swept over the eyes to curve into two small knobs, like miniature horns yet not quite grown. Going down it's coily curved back were ridges, that started at the top of its head before disappearing towards the end of its tail into a fork. It had four legs, in addition to its wings. The back legs looked longer than the front, as if they were primarily used to launch the creature into the sky whereas the front ones were designed for holding things. It's skin looked like some kind of hide; soft to the touch. It was gold in colour, seemingly shimmering in the afternoon sun. It tilted its head again at her, letting out a soft chirp, as if greeting her. Giving a small smile, Lexi responded, “Hello.” The creature let out a trill, its eyes whirling faster. It tilted his head again, before stretching its neck out towards her, its nose almost touching her own. Lexi laughed softly, causing the creature to pull back, chittering at her as if scolding her for making noise. Again, she was suddenly overwhelmed with an intense hunger, although she had eaten not long ago. It felt like she had not eaten in days. Despite her sleep addled confusion, she wondered if it was the creature that was sat upon her arm. “Are you hungry?” She asked it. The creature hummed and the hunger became sharper. Slowly, Lexi pushed herself to her feet, trying not to disturb the little creature, who watched her carefully from where it had jumped off her arm, near the fire. Her movements slow, Lexi pulled a fish from her precious food store and used her sharp stone to gut it. As the entrails of the fish came out, the little golden dragon suddenly hissed, jumping forward towards her. To Lexi’s surprise, it began to tear at the entrails ravenously, almost mumbling in its haste to tear it apart and eat it. “My, you are hungry, aren’t you?” Lexi said with a smile. While it might not be a good idea to use her food up feeding a wild animal, she knew where these fish were and could get more. At the moment, the company was more valuable than the food. While the creature was distracted with the guts, Lexi was able to tear off pieces of the fish that were more manageable for a creature this size to eat. It was eating so quickly that Lexi doubted it was even pausing to chew its food. By the time she had torn half of the fish apart, the little golden creature had finished the guts and now turned its red eyes towards the pile of fish meat that Lexi collected. With a laugh, Lexi piece up a piece of the fish and offered it to the tiny creature. With a greedy hiss, it leapt towards her, easily swallowing what she had given him. She was correct in tearing it into smaller pieces. Lexi began feeding the creature piece by piece, eventually cradling the little dragon in the palm of her hand as she hand fed. Eventually, after the edge of its hunger had been sated, it let out soft chirps and even chewed its food. Finally, with its belly bulging, it let out a little burp before it curled up asleep in her hand. With a strange smile, she gently stroked along its back, getting a soft croon in response. Its skin was warm and soft to the touch. Lexi looked up towards the sun, noticing that it was approaching evening. Gently putting the little creature in her lap, she gutted another fish and put it on the fire to cook. She then returned her attention to the fish she had been cutting up, intending on finishing the job so that her little friend could have something to eat later. When that was done and she had wrapped the meat up in a leaf, the fish that Lexi had put on the fire to cook was done. She ate it, too tired to go back into the jungle for more of the fruit. So far, she didn’t feel like she had been poisoned, but she would rather wait until morning to determine that. When she had eaten her fish, she watched the sun set on the horizon, disappearing from view. The little creature roused suddenly, creeling with hunger. Tenderly, Lexi fed the creature with the fish she had cut up earlier until the point where it passed out again. With a sigh, Lexi curled up in front of her fire, closing her eyes. She felt the little dragon nuzzle against her before she fell deeply asleep. The next morning, she was awoken by the small dragon, who was creeling with hunger. With a sigh, Lexi put one of her last remaining fish beside the fire before cutting up the last fish for the little dragon. Once it had eaten its fill, it sat upon her shoulder, chirping sweetly into her ear as she moved into the jungle, searching for more of the redfruit. Once she had found the vine, she gathered several the fruit before going back to her fire and the fish. By the time the fish had finished cooking, the little dragon had wrapped its tail around her throat and had curled up against her neck fast asleep. Lexi ate her fill of the fish, before chewing on one of the redfruits. The little dragon had caused her food to dwindle so unless she wanted to starve, she had to return to the river. Rising carefully and taking several redfruits with her, she left her camp and headed towards the river. She retraced her steps along the beach, her shoes sinking slightly in the fine, warm sand.

  8. Utopian Curse Overview The Utopian Curse island is a holidaymakers paradise. Warm, tropical weather. Lush vegetation. Miles of perfectly smooth sand beaches and water so clear that you can see for metres. However, it is not called Utopian Curse for no reason. Anyone who arrives on this island almost never leaves. They are forced to live out the rest of their lives on the island. And despite its peaceful seeming nature, the island is filled with danger that make it hard to survive. It isn't a large island, but it certainly isn't small. It takes about six hours to run from the South to the North, providing that the ground was flat and there were no obstacles in the way. With the same conditions, it takes approximately eight hours to run from the west side of the island to the east side. That said, with obstacles all there, it takes several days to traverse the island. The forested areas are very thick, and it take hours to hack through even the smallest part of it. The Mountains are steep and dangerous to climb. Most people who attempt to climb them are often met with strange accidents that prevent them from reaching the peaks. The wildlife is also very strange, and dangerous. Huge, plant eating beasts roam the grasslands, attacking anything who attempted to hunt them. And to hunt these huge, strange beasts are even bigger predators who would look at a human as if they were a piece of snack. Without a means to defend yourself, the best choice is to just run. Despite the strangeness of the island, it may fool someone into believing that they were stranded somewhere on Earth. Lining the perfect, sandy beaches are miles of coconut trees. And that isn't the only similarity. Many survivors usually claim to find something, no matter how small, that they recognise from where they had come from. Not only is the island ecology strange and alien, but there is something about the island itself. As stated before, it is almost impossible to leave. If a character has a means to either fly or get into space, they would encounter fierce storms if they climbed too high or flew too far. The storms would come from nowhere, and are usually not visible to the island itself. The fierce winds would drive them back towards the island. The same thing happens when someone attempts to swim or sail off of the island. As soon as they get a certain distance, they usually experience strong storms that drive them back, or break up the boat and perhaps even drown the passengers if they are unlucky, though they usually find themselves back at the island. If people attempt to fly or sail away from the island in an attempt to find land, there is a small chance that they wouldn't encounter any storms. Instead, what they find is even more bizarre. The other side of the island. So if a person flew or sailed South from the island, they would end up on the North side. There is no obvious explanation as to why this happens. The world simply couldn't be that small, but there is no way to find out. It also seems that, far from shore, there lurks a huge and dangerous creature that attacks any ship or boat that attempts to leave the island. There are also some signs of an ancient civilisation, including some temple ruins that appear to have been already raided. They hold nothing of interest, but it appears that some ancient race was once on the island. Did they die out, or find a way off? On the South East of the island stands an old, crumbling lighthouse that is hard to get to without flying or sailing. Again, it is not obvious why the lighthouse is there, or who had built it. Perhaps it was one of the other survivors? There may be others out there, on the island. But do you dare seek them out? They could be as dangerous as the local wildlife. They might be as likely to attempt to kill you on sight as they are to try to be your friend. You won't know unless you try. It is currently only in black and white because it is still somewhat in the process of being made, because it is still very open for additions such as character camps. 9. Welcome to the Utopian Curse (Photograph of Saint Martin (island). Photographer unknown) Blinking against the harsh light of the sun above you, you awaken to find yourself on an island. An island you have no recollection of travelling to or arriving at. Scanning the area you can tell only that the island is a tropical location, with palms trees swaying gently in a light breeze, and the fresh smell of the ocean on the clean air. Unknown to you is the fact that you have been taken by beings to this strange island, taken from your bed and planted here on this small tropical island. But what for? There are no clues, so you are left to only guess as to your reason of being here. A dream, perhaps? An experiment? Perhaps merely a kidnapping? A strange occurrence comes about when you meet other ‘survivors’ on the island. It becomes apparent that the time space continuum is being crossed. People are being taken from planets and time lines not of this world, and placed here alongside you. But why? Upon this tropical island there is limited technology. Resources are only what the island can produce for you to survive. Other ‘survivors’ litter the island and some may possibly not be as friendly as you would assume, or even dare to hope. Survival is the priority. Teamwork a secondary point. Will the ‘survivors’ of the island come together to survive and build a community to ensure safety and peace? Or will they fight for space and resources, shedding blood upon the golden sands of the tropical island? What will be YOUR tale in this strange, yet beautiful island? Selil is the Capital of the Craethiel Kingdom, and is a prosperous trading mecca. It sits at the mouth of the Ageon River where it connects to the sea, allowing them to have a safe harbour that can accommodate hundreds of ship at once. It is usually a very busy place, with many people trading among the ships, and sailors repairing their ships. From the harbour, a single canal leads into the city, delivering goods to the many warehouses and shops along its banks straight from the ships themselves. It passes through the entire city, effectively dividing it in half. A large drawbridge connects the two sides of the city, with a mechanism that allows guards to raise and lower the bridge whenever a heavily loaded cargo ship travels up the canal, so that they can deliver their goods. This bridge joins that Merchants lane together, as it is divided among the two Districts. Around the perimeter of the city is a tall, thick wall to fend off attackers. Three gates are spaced out along the northern part of the city, usually open but always guarded. The city is divided into two main districts, the Lower District and the Upper District. The Lower District is where the poorer civilians live. The homes are of a bad condition, and sickness is rife here. There are many beggars that plead with anyone passing by to give them money. The Lower District tends to have a lot of questionable businesses like brothels, and animal fighting rings. The crime rate is high, with thugs targeting the vulnerable, and the rich if possible. The condition of the homes, and the people, improve the further South into the city one gets, until they will come across streets with large mansions. When someone makes their way through the Low District of Selil to the Merchants Lane, they come upon a bridge that hangs above the canal dividing the city. Crossing it, they will find themselves within the Upper District of Selil. Within the Upper District, the Elite of Selil live, work, and play. It is a beautiful District with old trees and clean footpaths. Lavish homes line the streets, with beautifully manicured gardens leading to each fine oak door. In the centre of the Upper District is a beautiful park, an amazing ten acres of beautifully cared for land, with tall trees, a large pond in the centre with fish and natural pond life, and benches dotted around to allow Selilsians to sit and enjoy the scenery. Nearby, there are expensive Tea Houses with beautiful fine china cups and saucers. They serve fine tea and cakes, offering a classy venue for the wealthy to enjoy. They also have hosts to converse with and flatter the wealthy guests. There are small boutique shops along the streets; a high end market for the wealthy of the Upper District which sells only the best of the best produce and supplies. It is indeed a lavish and beautiful place. If you travel far enough to the North there you will find another wall, in which there are two large gates made of solid oak. The doors are always guarded by men in black cloaks, as behind this extravagant wall is the Palace, where the King of Selil and his court rest. The Palace, a beautiful building made of white marble that when the sun strikes makes it glitter and glow, towers above the Upper District, safely behind its huge guarded wall. It has a large courtyard, around which is the towers which hold bedrooms, servant quarters, libraries and many other rooms. The King’s room is huge, with a four poster bed that goes from floor to ceiling, is covered in the finest silks and satins, and has a large bathroom attached to it with a sunken bath made of marble. The Palace is finely decorated with the history of Selil and its past Rulers. Giant tapestries tell of the history of Selil, busts and statues depict the past Rulers. The throne room is large, with a red velvet carpet leading from the huge double doors to the huge marble throne sitting in the middle of a raised dais. It stands at an impressive 7ft, is made of solid marble and has gilt detailing to decorate the beautiful white marble. There are also several Palaces that surround the castle where other Royal Families of other species reside, such as the Keza'maraki Palace. Another large wall runs around the Castle, Palaces and Mansions which are carefully guarded at all times keeping out the undesirables. The large lavish homes belong to the cities nobles and the most wealthy of traders. The brick buildings of Selil are carefully covered with white plaster, making the city seem to shine when seeing it from afar. While the homes of those that live in the Upper city are carefully repaired and maintained, it is not unusual to see the homes in the Lower District to be in varying states of disrepair. Rosayia Forest: The Rosayia Forest is a large stretch of dark forest at the very South of Craethiel. Not much of it is explored, as it is a dangerous place to travel. The Forest is filled with strange creatures that are not seen anywhere else in the Kingdom. Many believe that the creatures are magical in nature, and that the Rosayia is an Enchanted Forest that sustains the creatures living there. Most people know this forest to be nothing but dangerous, and many people would never dare to venture near it. Vorserend: Vorserend was once the Capital City of the Eldyrannth hidden among the Therarr Mountains, where few know of their existence. However at the very beginning of this roleplay, the city has been attacked and the population, save for one, slaughtered. The buildings of the once magnificent city now lie in rubble with the dead littering the streets. Within several months time, the city will be covered by crystal trees, marking the spots where Eldyrannth individuals fell to their death. If anyone were to come across this city, it would feel very calm, and yet there be a very deep sadness to it. Due to the tall mountains, it is a very hard city to veture to, however; there are some hidden paths through the mountain, that are near impossible to find. See the extra information for the Eldyrannth for more detail on the city, its previous occupants and the Crystal Trees. Do not have a character stumble into the city without my permission. Ze'taour: This is the Capital of the Zeta'muluri, a unique species of what appears to be dragon anthros; but they are very, very different from dragon anthros, as they have a much different origin. This island is very mountainous and cannot be docked upon from the sea. Most of the island is volcanic in nature and therefore uninhabitable by many species, but Zeta's find it perfect for their needs, as there are many lava pools which they can happily bathe in. The surrounding waters are also inhabited by Water Zeta's who live close to the island. They do not venture very far, as they have been hunted by ships crewed by people trying to catch a prize. Zeta's will be seen occasionally within the Craethiel but will generally actively avoid ALL contact with other species. They are very friendly with the Eldyrannth, as they revere the larger dragons. They are also quite friendly with the Mako'demeri race. Somewhat friendly with Keza'maraki's, although some Keza's seem to believe that Zeta's are dangerous dragons that swoop down and burn villages. However, if anyone attempts to land aywhere near their city, they will be hostile, and demand that they leave. If they do not, then they will suffer the wrath of an angry army of Zeta’s who wish to protect their home. Devlyn's Keep: This is the long abandoned Castle of King Tarl. It is a complete ruin, with sections falling apart. No part is good for living in. Currently this place is empty, save for a few wild animals. There may be some valuable items still inside, however many doubt it as it has been long since raided. Even though it is currently empty, Devlyn will be massing a small army at this location and anyone going nearby when this happens may be in danger. Fenrir's Graspe: This is a settlement of Mako's on one of the four larger islands. It is almost impossible to get to the island by sea, as the island is surrounded by sharp reef rocks hidden underneath the sea surface that pose a significant danger to any ships. Without the Mako's intimate knowledge of these reefs, which they never share, someone would be ill-advised to attempt to land here. No character will be allowed to step onto the island without strict permission from myself. Coda Temple: This is a temple on one of the forested islands around Craethiel. It is inhabited by Coda'zotoxi, a species that looks similar to Fox Anthros. There is a small village set apart from the temple, where Coda's work and live. While they are polite and friendly to any visitors, anyone going there will often feel that they are not welcome there. If anyone attempts to go near the temple, they will be asked to turn back, or leave. If a visitor ignores those warnings and continues to try and enter the temple will be met with hostility. No character will be allowed to step onto the island without strict permission from myself. The Monolith: According to legend, this strange structure is actually the master seal that holds the 52 Undying at bay. It is said that the Master Knight and their compatriots hunted the 52 Undying for years, as the Undying rampaged over the lands. The site of the Monolith marks the site of the final battle. To the normal person, it looks like a large rectangle with a reflective surface, almost like a mirror. To those with strong magic in the blood, it may show what is inside. It towers above all that approach it at 24 ft tall, making people feel insignificant in its shadow. Ildánach Library: The Ildánach Library is an ancient library that dates back to the time of the First King, Enutpen. It is now an abandoned building, infested with monsters from the Rosayia Forest. Many of them are extremely dangerous, and few dare to travel to this place. It is unknown how much of the libraries content is still salvageable, as no one has been able to find out. It is unknown how the library came to be abandoned. Ashaba: This is an old abandoned Mansion, deserted by a cult that worshipped a Dark God. They used to perform ritual sacrifices by bending the sacrifice over an altar, cutting out their heart, and throwing it into a fire that used to be permanently lit. The rest of the body was simply discarded carelessly. This religion isn't very prevalent these days, with this being the only sacred place left to their religion. The Mansion is in a state of severe disrepair, with parts of the house unable to be reached, much less inhabited. Some areas may be stable enough for people to move around, however that will not remain for long. It is infested by monsters and a strange Hound creature that is at least twice the size of a normal dog. It is unknown if there are any valuables inside, but it is very likely due to the danger of this place. Ashaba was abandoned at around the same time as the abandoned village. Rydraeck: Rydraeck is a large underwater city that is hidden behind the Therarr Mountains. It cannot be accessed by any species without the ability to breath underwater, as it is deep beneath the surface. It is occupied by an aquatic race, similar in image to a mermaid but with vast differences, called the Rydraen. For one, all individuals in this race are Hermaphrodites, or futa; they are all females with a dick. They are a very shy race who would avoid any ship widely. They only interact with the Eldyrannth as the two races have a symbiotic relationship. The Eldyrannth protect the Rydraen, and the Rydraen produce the exotic crystals that the Eldyrannth use; the Rydraen will not give these crystals to anyone else. No character will be allowed to step onto the island without strict permission from myself. The Town of Dragon’s Eye: Dragons Eye is a town situated in the mountains of Therarr. It grew from a small trading outpost, which used to trade with the Eldyrannth before Vorserend fell. It is still populated today, because they still act as a halfway point to Ze'taour, so trade with the Zeta'muluri still occurs.
  11. Villages and Towns Hermitage: This village is nestled within the marshlands, mainly comprised of log cabins connected by wooden walkways, to protect them from the constant water and mud underneath. This village's main occupation is farming, using the fertile soil between the marsh and grassland to farm various crops, which they then sell to Selil. Tiloga: Tiloga is a small fishing village on the coast. Their main export is the fish that the villagers work tirelessly every day to catch. This village has a small harbour that can accommodate trading ships. Leria: Leria is another fishing village. They have a harbour, but only large enough for their fishing ships. Instead of encouraging traders to come to them, they sail down to Lathulla to sell their already gutted and prepared fish there. As such, they are quite isolated, and don't often get visitors to their village. Vortase: Vortase is a small village nestled in the Ildgara Forest next to the Andil River. They are loggers, harvesting wood and will either sell it as it is, or cook it down into charcoal to sell to other locations. They are a very friendly people, and welcome visitors eagerly. Delwore: Delwore is a tiny village located at the edge of the Therarr Mountains. Their trade is mainly comprised with trapping animals for their fur and their meat. They cure the fur or hide, as well as prepare the meat to be able to sell it to other locations. They are a friendly people, but wary of strangers. Dar'vere: This village is on the very edge of the Dynz Desert and as such, quite warm and dry. The villagers tapped into a large underground water source and use this, as well as the hot climate to grow one of Craethiel's delicacies; Sugar. They also farm a large herd of cows and goats. Ryn'tur: Ryn'tur is a large farming village near Lake Kelrak. They have large fields of wheat, barley, hops and corn. They also have several herds of milk producing cows, sheep, pigs, chickens and turkeys. They provide most of the Kingdom's main meat, but sell most of it to Selil where the nobles pay handsomely for meat. Taiom: Taiom is a reasonably sized village on the edge of lake Ryomar. They grow several crops, as well as produce charcoal, firewood and fresh water fish from the lake. They are a friendly people that will trade eagerly. Abandoned Village: This village has been long abandoned, leaving the buildings to ruin and the forest to reclaims its land. It is unknown what happened here, as there are no bodies of any of the inhabitants. It is infested with the creatures that reside inside of the forest. Many people insist that it is only a rumour, and not a place that truly exists. Lathulla: Lathulla is a large, bustling coastline town that, unlike the villages, has buildings built primarily from stone rather than wood. It has a large harbour, and is a good place to trade. People from all over come to trade with neighbouring villages that would have otherwise been unable to trade. Lathulla also provides a good point to get sea passage to Selil, providing that you can afford it. Trade with Selil also goes on here, as Merchants from the city sail up to the town to trade with others. Kalath: Kalath is the point of trade between the North of the Kingdom and the South of the Kingdom. Villages from the North travel there to sell their produce and buy what they needed. The Merchants would then carry the goods down to the rest of the Kingdom, and vice versa. Due to the trading potential, Kalath usually has a festival twice a year for merchants to come together at the same time. One is in early spring, and the second happens late summer.
  12. Craethiel Kingdom Overview Welcome to Craethiel Kingdom, a relatively young but thriving Kingdom in the year of 1200 AD ,unknown to much of the world as it is situated on its own large island. The Grand Capital of the kingdom is the large city of Selil on the South-West coast of Craethiel, accessing the Verdar Sea. Selil is a rich, bustling city that draws Merchants from all over the land to come to trade and try their luck at making themselves rich beyond their wildest dreams. Selil is also the centre of power within the Kingdom, as it is where the Kings Throne sits, ruling his subjects. The Capital City sits where the Ageon River empties into the sea, allowing it to have access to the drinking water and a harbour that goes out to sea, so they can shield ships from any storms as well as allowing trade with the Towns and Villages that line the coast. Going up the Ageon River, a traveller will see a vast grassy plain to the West side of the river, and the edge of the Rosayia Forest on the East side of the river, a dark and menacing wave of trees. Many people claim that evil lurks there, waiting for an unsuspecting victim to travel into its grasp. Many tales surround the Forest, tales that usually ended badly for the unwitting traveller. Around the first bend of the Ageon river is a large marsh area. The ground is extremely soggy and few can travel through it without getting lost, as the land seems to change constantly around them. Once the marsh is left behind, the land is filled with rolling hills. Nestled above the hills is the large Lake Kelrak that is so large that some claim that you cannot see the other side when standing on the shore. Continuing North is a vast Woodland called Ildyara Forest filled with towering ancient Oak Trees with several other tree species growing alongside them. This wood is quiet and peaceful, apart from the occasional wolf or bear. Wrapping along the coastline is the majestic Therarr Mountains, a vast stretch of mountainous peaks that continue East beyond Craethiel's border. On the far East side, below the Therarr Mountains is a dry, hot and arid desert. This land is inhospitable, and few survive a trek across it. Anyone who says that they are going to journey across the vast sand dunes are usually warned against such a venture. Separating the Dynz desert from the Rosayia Forest is a second, enormous Mountain range, known as Enutpen's Glory. Enutpen is the first King of Craethiel. He was the King that outlined the borders for the Kingdom seen today. He fought vicious wars with neighbouring Kings to secure the land and unite it under his rule. The Mountain Range that bears his name is famously known as the last battle of the War. Enutpen lured the forces of King Tarl into the huge Mountain range, before ambushing the surprised army and slaughtering them. It is said that Enutpen got into one last fight with Tarl before striking him in the chest and claiming victory. He then returned to his throne in Selil and ruled the United Kingdom of Craethiel until his death. It is not known to many people, but in his last years, Enutpen slipped into insanity, often giving confusing orders and chewing on the Royal drapes. He died at the age of 63, an achievement in those days, as a sick and insane old man. The peaks of Enutpen's Glory are higher than those of the Therarr Mountains, reaching beyond the clouds so their peaks are not visible from the ground. The tallest of Therarr's Mountains at the very North East of Craethiel only reach just beyond cloud level. Off the coast of Craethiel are several islands that can be reached by sea. Many of the small islands are uninhabited, however on some of the larger islands there can be civilisation, found and possibly approached by ship. The Wilds of Craethiel can be a dangerous place, with bandits and thugs waiting for easy prey and monsters that lurk around the corners. You should be mindful of where you set foot. 14. Craethiel Kingdom (Photographer Steve Highfield) The Craethiel Kingdom is a wild, and untamed land where the monsters and animals of the land rule with an iron fist. Where legends stalk the lands like giants, and myths are the way of the world. A land filled with beauty and wonder, that the unwary traveller would find enchanting and irresistible. A land where the Eldyr’s travelled at will without fear. A land that had seen wars that would strike fear into the sturdiest of souls. It is unwise for an adventurer to strike forth alone for there is little protection beyond the walls of the Great City of Selil, or any of the towns and villagers that dot this harsh and unforgiving land. To the North, lies the huge, imposing peaks of the Therarr Mountains that tower high into the air, as if striving to touch the very heavens themselves. A perfect symbol for the land of Craethiel. Beautiful. Enchanting. Untamable and traversable by only a few. To the East sits the Dynx desert. A barren land of blistering heat and little water. The desert is nearly uncrossable at times due to rolling sand storms and below freezing temperatures at night. To attempt the feat is almost as possible as climbing to the very tallest of the Therarr peaks. To the South lays the forest of Rosayia, a deep thick curtain of darkness that seems to go on for an eternity. Hidden within its depths, are mysteries beyond comprehension, and creatures that would make your nightmares seem tame. For citizens, and travellers alike, this land is filled with wonder and danger. For some, it seems that there is nowhere safe. Be wary, dear traveller, of the land that sings its siren song. You might just meet your end... 15. Major places of note Blackberry Falls Shopping Centre and the City Centre For shopping, the place to go in Blackberry Falls is the City Centre. In the very centre of the city are several long streets that are dedicated to commercial buildings, and host shops from all over the world. It is the centre of shopping in Ashea, as you can find just about any product in the world here, from small trinkets to the latest in electrical technology. In the midst of all of this is the Blackberry Falls Shopping Centre, an extremely large building that sees hundreds of thousands of customers per day. It has over a thousand shops, and has become as much of a tourist attraction as any other location in Blackberry Falls. Along with the thousands of shops, it has numerous areas where people can rest and relax, do activities, or simply observe large waterfalls and other attractions. Security can be seen as tight, but with such a concentration of expensive shops, it does attract certain criminal attention, so they try and keep on top of it while making sure not to impose on anyone just there to shop for the day. The Blackberry Farm The Blackberry Farm is one of the island's largest tourist attractions. A large farm filled with huge Blackberry bushes, it sits beside the river that runs near the demilitarised zone. Workers at the farm harvest the plentiful berries before they are sent on to supermarkets and other companies, so that they can be made into other products, such as the pies and jams that the island is so famous for. Visitors to the Farm are usually given a tour of the facility and the fields so that they can observe the blackberries for themselves, and see just how large they are compared to usual blackberries. They are also welcome to taste the berries before being offered to purchase some of the berries straight from the source. They would also take advance orders that would allow them to set aside part of the next harvest for those who want the berries just hours after they have been picked. Growing alongside the blackberries, are several types of grapes that give rise to three types of wine; a Red, White and a Champagne. All three of them are quite expensive, as they do not produce much of it, and each type has a small part of the blackberry fruit juice added to them to give them an extra taste. This has been done for dozens of years, and is a jealously guarded secret of the family that own the farm. The fields are several square miles in size, and sit close to the Blackberry waterfall. The waterfall is often depicted in images in regards to the farm due to how large and prominent it is, which has made it iconic in the fame of Blackberry Falls. Blackberry Park This part is located near the Blackberry Falls City Centre, which situates it in a heavy traffic area. For those who are tired of shopping, the park is open for them to enter and enjoy the scenery. The park itself is 4km2. In the centre of the park is a lake where visitors are able to view the water fowl there, and ride upon boats in the water. The park also has several areas, with most of the areas being heavily forested, as well as one large open field. In one of the forested areas is a children’s playground that is themed as a small forest city, with tree houses and numerous climbing equipment. The army of maintenance workers have strived to keep the park as natural as possible, thus there aren’t too many buildings or activities apart from bridges, the children’s park, entrance buildings, benches and bins. Even with these human additions, they have strived to keep the natural theme. They pick up any litter that they come across, and a person can face a heavy fine for littering in the park. Some visitors have noted that sometimes, when deep inside of the park, they forget that they are in the middle of a city, and when they see the huge skyscrapers rising from behind the trees, they become momentarily confused. This is the perfect place for a lover of nature to come and escape the bustle of the city. Blackberry General Hospital For most species in the world, the Blackberry General Hospital has some of the most advanced medical technology that money can buy, although they fall quite short of the Keza Corp Hospital standards. It is a large compound located deep within the city, that consists of several buildings. The Hospital has a very high standard of cleanliness, and will ensure that everything is clean so that patients don’t suffer from the effects of a dirty hospital. They have a standard level of care that is free for citizens to take advantage of however the medical care is not the same standard as those who have insurance. Those who pay from their own pocket or through an insurance company can get the top quality of care, that ensures that they always have a room to themselves and nurses on call. For those receiving the free treatment, they will usually be in shared wards unless theirs is a specific circumstance. The treatment, while free for citizens to use, is not strictly free. It is paid for by grants from the government, as well as advertising from corporations, so there will be things like sponsored vending machines in some areas of the hospital, or advertisement panels. Blackberry Falls Airport, and Port The Blackberry Airport is located by the coast, several miles away from the Capital City. The Port is close by, and is in fact owned and ran by the same company as the airport. The airport has two landing strips, with two terminals where passengers load and unload from the planes. The staff there try and keep waiting times to a minimum, as the more passengers they can process, the faster they can load them on the planes, and the more planes they can have coming in and out. As such, while they have their usual checks, they do not have any invasive checks such as stripping people down or touching them up while searching for weapons. If they do come across anyone that is extremely suspicious, then they are taken away for extra questioning or escorted away by the Police. From the airport, it is possible to view the sea port that is nearby. Not only is it used for civilian passengers, but the port also acts as a means for exports and imports are traded. As such, the port is extensive, with much of the room taken up by storage of cargo containers which are either loaded onto ships to leave the country, or loaded onto lorries to be taken elsewhere in the country. On the passenger side of things, the port sees a number of pleasure ships from small sailboats to huge cruise liners, as they stop off on their path. Blackberry Falls City Zoo The Blackberry Falls City Zoo is the largest zoo in the country of Ashea, and is situated close to the outer-rim of the city centre. It has extensive grounds, and has a wide range of exotic animals from all over the world. They are heavily invested in various breeding programs so they have very rare animals such as Rhinos, Elephants, various sub-species of Tigers, and Leopards among others. The zoo puts a lot of funding into providing an educational experience for their guests, teaching them about the animals and informing them of the current condition of the species. They do not do it in a preachy, emotional way. Instead they rely on giving actual facts to give a more realistic impression of the situation which, more often than not, is worse than what it is perceived. The zoo is a very popular attraction, especially for schools and tourists. This zoo is well known globally for the wide range of animals that they have, as well as their dedication towards preserving numerous species, including ones that aren’t as cute and fluffy as pandas.
  16. Blackberry Falls Extra Information It is the modern day, and the place this roleplay finds itself in is Blackberry Falls, a city situated on a large island that is perhaps a little larger than the United Kingdom. This fair, bountiful land is split between two separate countries; Ashaea, and the United Federation of Families which has settled in on the island in recent years. The Capital cities, Blackberry Falls and Xantall’ar, sit on opposite ends of the island, separated by other, smaller cities and a wide expanse of forest that dominates the island. The cities have settled on the southern end of the island, and just to their north is a large cliff that runs from one side of the country to the other. Beyond the cliffs is the rest of the island, dotted here and there with towns and villages. The river that spills down the cliffside splits into two large rivers, with one headed towards Blackberry Falls and the other heading into UFF country, so that both reap the benefits of the strange water. For the moment, the relationship between the two countries is an uneasy peace. They mostly stay out of each other’s business, although there is limited trade between the two. Between the borders of the two countries is a de-militarised zone, that prevents either side from being able to send any kind of military into the other country. This has helped maintain the delicate truce that the two countries share. Blackberry Falls is a large, modern city, filled with large skyscrapers, which displays the wealth and development of this human metropolis. One of the things that Blackberry Falls is famous for is its BlackBerries, due to their high quality and abundant Blackberry harvests. There is something in the water of the island that causes the BlackBerry bushes to grow far larger than normal, and the berries to be the most delicious in the world. It also helps the inhabitants of the island stay healthy and helps them live longer. The time of Blackberry Falls is the early 21st century, and despite the violent economic climate, Blackberry has fared extremely well. This is largely in part thanks to the trade that Ashaea has had with the UFF and their major corporation, Keza Corp. Ashaea has their own corporation, EDANCorp, that has filled Blackberry Falls with technology that suppasses any that other human countries, although it is a few steps behind what Keza Corp has been able to produce, because the UFF tends to keep their own technology to themselves. With the combination of the trade with the UFF, their own self-sustaining ways and EDANCorp, Ashaea has remained prosperous while other economies have faltered. For humans, Blackberry Falls has turned into a technology empire, and there are thousands of jobs available for the citizens to apply for. They are also in the lead for the latest medical technology for humans, and it is home to one of the most state of the art human hospital, Blackberry General Hospital. The UFF is home for the most advanced technology in the world, and they actually have the most advanced hospital in the world, Keza Corp Hospital, however due to their restricted borders and lack of interest in sharing what Keza Corp produce, their technology (medical or otherwise) is not available to those in Blackberry Falls. Even if it was available, the UFF is made up of species that have a different biology to humans, Neko’s and other species, so the technology would not even be of any use. As with any city with a large population, crime does still exist and there is even a Black Market there. However, Blackberry Falls keep their prison population low by only putting the most violent offenders in the state-run prison. This keeps the most violent people off of the street, while leaving in peace those who do something as benign as smoking weed in their own home. Blackberry Falls is a place where people come and seek their fortunes. Everything about the city is something that most people can only dream of. However, like every city in the world, it has its poor, run-down areas where people live in poverty and where the crime rates are the highest on the entire island. For those who are unable to make the fortunes they dreamed of, this is where they usually end up. The city does all it can to improve the areas, however with the current rising house prices due to the demand, there is little they are able to do apart from support numerous charities that help out in the impoverished areas. One thing that the UFF and Ashaea do share in common is that both of them are quite strict when it comes to immigration and customs. The UFF is a lot more strict than Ashaea, with the chances of getting in if you’re a non-UFF species being only slightly higher than the chance of getting to the moon as an untrained Astronaut. Ashaea is less strict than the UFF, however they have similar restraints as Australia and New Zealand, especially when it comes to the importation of food which has the potential to destroy their agriculture and bring the economy to its knees. The currency that is used in Blackberry Falls, is the Blackberrian Dollar. It’s one of the most valuable human currencies on the planet, which speaks of their strong economy. Some of the places will get a bit of a description here; however, some of the much larger places will have their own Extra Information, which will be linked below as it would be far too much information to contain to this single extra information. Despite being in their own extra information they are linked to Blackberry Falls, but may have their own limits in place. As the extra information is approved before it is added to this list, then the limits must be observed to be able to roleplay in Blackberry Falls. 18. Welcome all to the Blackberry Falls City (Suee, DJMax game.) The Blackberry Falls City is a self-sustaining capital city on a remote island, where the water is pure and the land is free. The city is famous originally for it's delicious and unique Blackberries, as the waterfall contained water that was not only good for the farms and their crops, but made the Blackberry vines grow three times the size, with the blackberries themselves three times the size as well. And at three times the taste, it was something no one had ever tasted before; far superior to other blackberries. This was good for the pie industry as well as the jam industry. It was soon discovered that the water, as well as the fruits that used the water, prolonged life and promoted vitality with human life span, touching on average 110 years old, with the oldest to pass away at 149 years old (If you'd like information on Blackberries, click here). The Country has its own government, with their customs being extremely strict on the importation of food, much like Australia and New Zealand, to prevent damage to their ecology which could cost billions of Blackberrian Dollars to the thriving blackberry industry, and the country’s economy. Blackberry Falls is a rich, multicultural City that is suitable for all walks of life, with bountiful jobs and housing. At the very centre of the Blackberry Falls economy is Keza Corp and EDAN Industries. They have made Blackberry Falls the forefront of new, cheap, and revolutionary technology. Both Corporations helped protect Blackberry falls during the recession that hit many countries hard. Blackberry Falls continued to be prosperous in the bleak economic climate. Blackberry Falls attracts thousands of people from around the globe, seeking their fortunes among the streets. So here it is... Your chance to help the city to thrive or drag it to it's knees... What will you do? Skill level: Advanced Relevant Links: Extra Information (A must read) Character ID Out of Character Rules: EcchiDreams Standard Roleplaying Rules, plus: No character is allowed to cross the border into the UFF country without my permission. You also cannot have your character as one of the UFF species, without strict permission from myself, and Wolfie. This is a strict rule I will not budge on. Anyone violating this will be asked to leave the RP immediately with little chance of returning. Posts must be at least one paragraph long, with a good amount of detail and with good grammar and spelling (barring mistakes). Anything less than a paragraph, such as a one line post, will be removed and the member in question requested to not do that again. If you consistently post less than a paragraph, then your posts will be removed and you will be asked to leave the roleplay. If you are wanting a special place in Blackberry Falls, then I will need a detailed extra information before I can add it to the list of locations within Blackberry Falls.

  20. Greetings, fellow Dreamers! Following up from our massive update, we’ve been working hard behind the scenes during this Beta period to bring most of our functionality back online. In many ways, EcchiDreams has evolved considerably during this phase. Now we’re starting to look at bringing certain sections up-to-date. These past few weeks we’ve been working on the The Roleplaying Suite. Over the years, our Roleplay section has expanded and changed to update itself to the demands of the Roleplayers on EcchiDreams. It started as a single small, pre-determined scenario driven roleplay. Thorndown University; which went on to include other roleplays that eventually came together to become Blackberry Falls, which is supposed to be a slightly more technologically advanced modern city. After that, Blackberry was joined by Craethiel Kingdom; a medieval roleplay, Utopian Curse; a tropical island that seems like paradise on the surface but is a deep survival based plot, and Andromeda; a purely Sci-Fi driven scenario. Then, with the suggestions that came forth from Dreamers in the community, the Independent Roleplays came into existence. This was a feature that intended on allowing EcchiDreamers the chance to make their own roleplay scenario, rather than be forced to conform to specific settings. This allowed people to create their own roleplays, and set their own balance of control and quality. But, during the Beta Phase I talked about at the beginning, we have found that with the Independent Roleplay section, we no longer really need the Scenario Roleplays. And thus, we have decided to move them into the Independent Roleplays as their own, Independent RPs. As she was the one that worked on them for all these years, they will be under the ownership of Neptune. Unfortunately this means those roleplays will be restarted when they’re moved, as some of you will have found out when you received an EcchiText on the subject. There will also be a name change from here on out; EcchiText Roleplays will become Private Roleplays, and what that means for the section is that nothing changes. You go there to announce Private Roleplays on EcchiDreams (This can be over the Chatbar or through EcchiTexts). Independant Roleplays will become Public Roleplays, and what this means for the section is that almost nothing really changes. It’s where you make your own roleplay or join one you want to be apart of. Custom Roleplays will become Premium Roleplays, and will remain something only Platinum members can create (which allows you to set your own permissions; either Private, Invite Only or Public). Contrary to popular belief, we have no intention of monetising this (with real money). This is purely paid for with EcchiCredits (Contribution based currency; which is still offline at the moment). This encompasses most if not all forms of roleplayers. The Public Roleplays will have difficulty ratings which will allow people to find their level of roleplaying easily, of course these will be easily searchable too. So Joining and Making your own roleplay has never been easier, and the rules are pretty simple and easy to follow. Over the coming weeks we will be adding guides to our Guides section for Roleplaying. If you click on the “Follow” button in there you’ll be notified as guides are posted. As always we’re welcome and open to feedback.
  21. Yeah, I wouldn't mind knowing either since it turns the original artwork into something interesting. I actually had one of the original images in my collection:
  22. I know. A legendary that only appears once every ten thousand games. And you have to do a thousand fetch quests. The same one over and over. And with its poor base stats it isn't even worth it. But hey, gotta catch 'em all, right?
  23. Welcome back to EcchiDreams. It's good to see you again :3
