You know how books/movies usually follow the adventures and happenings of a single person (in book format often from the main character's perspective)? That's what I'm asking about - a story built from, by and around the limits of the perspective of a single main character, but written in a roleplaying format. I mean, yeah, occasionally there could be 'interludes', where the story describes the inner thoughts of another person or the happenings in different place in order to progress the plot, but overall - a story mainly pushed forwards by a single character. I guess you could say that one person roleplays as the "main character", while the other acts as "the world"…

So the big question is: What Is Your Favorite Book/Book Series? The first book series that I ever read was... Vampire Academy. So pretty much I was bored at work and thought what if you could make a super power from one of your favorite songs. It could be the lyrics or even just the title itself what would yours be? I've always been curious whether the majority of people listen to music while they write or if they prefer silence? If you do listen to music what kind do you prefer? Personally I listen to different things based on the RP. I like to surround myself with things that I think would help me feel or think like my characters. If the game is fantasy based I like to listen to movie sound tracks and hour mixes, I'll even put on rain effects if its raining during the scene or bug noises if its at night. I was plotting a roleplay with a friend when the archetype of the Bored Housewife came up. I'm more asking about the ways you format the various things a character might do. For instance, how do you discern the ways a character speaks from when they send a text message or does something. And if you control multiple characters - how do you make it more easily understandable for the other parties who is speaking at that moment? Being the age that I am, I have experienced quite a huge and drastic shift in media during 80's to now 2020. Back then, there was practically no digital media beyond stuff you installed on your PC (with only DOS on it) and even then you had a very small selection of stuff to play and hard disc drive space to install it on. Furthermore, there was no plug & play either and each game you had to manually set up every detail about sound- and graphics card. I've been thinking about a Strike Witches fic idea I thought up at one point that goes like this: Every umpteenth number of years, there's an event called "The Night of Witches' Love" in which the moon turns red, and the witches' familiars cause them to go into heat. Hello hello~ So this might just be me overreacting, and I apologize if I am, but I really don't want to accidentally violate the Terms of Service. I was working on something for hours, then after I finished it, I realized that what I had showed something that could be considered inappropriate of a character that is canonically under the age of 18. I don't think it's too much skin or even a sexual situation, but I want to be absolutely certain before I just upload it. Joining Ecchidreams is like being dropped into the most amazing library, filled with everything you could possible want. The problem is all the lights are out so it is pitch black and all you hear are the occasional peals of laughter, some odd comments in the corners (in a language that looks like English but seems to make no sense) and some grunts of what you presume are pleasure. I love it but I can't wait until I work out how to turn on the flashlight.
