Quick question about knots y'alls

So I'm transfem, which isn't really important here I guess.

I have this knotted dildo, around seven or eight inches I think, no idea the diameter of the knot itself. I've been trying to figure out how to actually get it in. I've tried a few times, and I always get like tantalisingly close, but never actually knotted. Last time I started bleeding when I was trying so I gave up for the night

Anyone got any advice for this?
