Guilty or Not Guilty

The next person has gone through someone else's phone without permission.

I want to say not guilty because the me I am now would never do that, BUT... 20-year-old me was just a messed up, jealous, insecure, untrusting jerkface and she definitely did that. Sigh. Some things you're not proud of...

 

The next person hates mayonnaise.

GUILTY GUILTY GUILTY.  Not my thing at all, just the flavor and the texture combination makes me gag.  YUCK!!!.  

The next poster tries anything pumpkin spice related every Halloween season.

Not guilty. I am notoriously irritable about the over abundance of pumpkin spice flavored items at this time of year. 
 

the next person wishes apple pie had become the flavor of the season instead of that damnable pumpkin spice.

Guilty. 8 parts cinnamon. 2 part ginger. 1 part nutmeg. 1 part cloves (some allspice and the tiniest pinch of black pepper if you're zesty like that). Tweak to taste. (Whoever controls the spice controls the universe)

I'm definitely making the pumpkin spice cinnamon rolls again this year. But first I want to try out croissants with a pumpkin spice glaze.

Not guilty, but Apple pie is up there. I wouldn't mind pumpkin spice shouldering over and making space. 

The next person enjoys baked pumpkin (and not just the pie).

Guilty., I guess. Baking looms large in my life, and I like roasted squash of almost any variety. Pumpkin is kind of more hassle than acorn or pattypan, but I like it.

Next poster enjoys a massamum curry, be it pumpkin, chicken or prawn.

Guilty, though panang curry is the real key to my heart. (Side note. I actually have acorn squash read to go for this week. Not sure if we're going sweet or savory with it yet, but I'm looking forward to it.)

The next person has missed an international flight for a completely avoidable reason.

(Side note on the acorn squash, do both.  Have a half for the savory dish, and half for desert(Brown sugar filled on the grill!!!!)).  

Not guilty, really never missed a flight other than for weather related issues. 

The next person has traveled to more than just the continent they live on.

Guilty, but not in many years. Marriages, kids, houses, jobs... I haven't been more than 100 miles from home in nearly 20 years.

Not guilty. As someone who has never left their home country and hasn't been to enough places inside it, I feel that. 

The next poster can picture what 100 miles looks like without looking at a map.

Guilty. In the States about 2 hours on the highway (unless you live in one of the top 10 population centers, in which case two hours is an evening commute).

Not Guilty.  I do sleep with a cell phone in arm's reach.  Even if it is only being used as a very expensive alarm clock at that time.  

The next person does have several alarms in the morning for waking up, remembering to wake up, remembering to get butt out of the house, etc etc.

Not guilty. I just have the one "in case" alarm, but I'm a creature of habit, so early to bed, early to rise, usually up long before the alarm goes off.

 

The next person speaks at least two languages fluently.

Sadly not guilty.  Need to learn BF's native language, but Dutch is some weird guttural language with noises that I didn't even know existed!.

The next person is working on learning another language than their native one.

Ehh...Kinda guily. I was learning Norwegian for a bit but stopped after life got annoying.

Next person speaks more than 3 languages.

Not guilty. Although I have sat up all night tending a fire, but it was the bonfire for a three-day drunkfest in the woods.

Guilty.  After a great night of love making, we decided to watch the starts and fell asleep where we were laying down anyway.  Nothing like waking up wet of dew. :-)

 

The next person can name at least 3 constellations while pointing them out in the sky without looking them up on an app.

Guilty. The Big Dipper is an easy go-to for anyone, plus Orion is super obvious on the horizon most of the time where I live, and ever since John Cusack pointed it out to Kate Beckinsale in Serendipity and drew on her arm, I can find Cassiopeia. 

 

The next person has been engaged to be married, but didn't go through with it.

Not guilty. That time hasn't approached for me yet, and my last relationship was not marriage material.
