Watching the neko land out of the steaming pool as well, Hellhound dripped water from her fur that soon caused that to dry and evaporate quickly, now that she was out of the water finally. She could not take another chance of falling in there. Bearing an angry look ready for war, she still could not avoid a grin from the demon's fury, as if it was all a game. Her naked body was nothing but a deceiving invitation to a beast that could tear anything apart although she was still recovering a little from what had happened so far. Her breathing was slow now, her eyes locked on the one target to send back to hell, for fun for one but also to get rid of this annoyance for Akemi as she first had planned. Demons like her annoyed her.

The neko's eyes showing her true nature finally made Hellhound take a stance of battle, stomping the ground with enough force to crack the tiles around her paw, as if she was taunting her opponent. "You demons are all the same... Hmm, well, not ALL the same... You think you can dominate Hellhound? I am the one who plays, I don't let anyone play with me, especially not a demon.", she said in retaliation, putting some disgust in her tone with the final word, not caring how that neko might react to it. Any provocation would be a win to her. The hound really wanted a fight now. She died to break free from her usual reservation. Although, she had to be careful but no humans seemed to be around, at least for the moment.

Hellhound's eyes soon focused on what else moved around but still always kept her attention on the neko. Something was rising from the shadows... Now she was playing seriously, these monsters showing up summoned by this demon would definitely scare a human into complete submission, only to be completely dominated, but the hound only saw this like a bonus challenge, barely knowing what fear was as she usually was the one making others afraid. Still, she was not completely oblivious of possible danger in a battle and those did look like they would not just be easy to dismiss. The beast was going to taste pain if fear was not an option currently. There was no doubt she was not going to return to Akemi unscathed...

Unlike Hellhound, it looked like the neko was still a wet pussy and the beast girl still found herself to smile stupidly about it, even if the moment was far from appropriate right now. "Play...? I enjoy angering the ones who think that they're better than Hellhound. I will show you who is better!", she taunted before she started showing her hell beast side more, her fiery eyes soon burning brighter like flames before her fur started igniting with scorching fire as well. No clothes in the way to burn or be careful about. An aura of power emanated from her as she stepped away from the pool to make sure she is not subdued to it once more. She needed ground to unleash her power against that horde of monsters wanting her dead.

The sight of the Hellhound drying, the water evaporating instantly from her fiery fur, only fueled the Neko demon’s blinding fury. The contemptuous grin on the hound's face, the obvious amusement she took in the whole debacle, was an insult that demanded immediate, brutal repayment.
The Hellhound’s stomping challenge and her disdainful words about "demons" earned a sharp, ragged snarl from the Neko. "Play? This isn't a game, mongrel. This is your humiliation!" she spat, her voice ringing with true, unrestrained malice.
As the Hellhound's eyes began to blaze and her fur ignited into a scorching aura of pure hellfire, the shadowy feline sentinels responded instantly to the command.

With silent, predatory speed, the immense shadow cats lunged. They moved not as a coordinated unit, but as a vicious, swirling tide of darkness. Razor-sharp shadow claws tore at the tiles where the Hellhound stood, missing her flesh but sending ceramic shrapnel flying. One monster, larger and faster than the rest, managed to clip her shoulder with a blurring swipe, leaving a shallow, burning scratch that sealed instantly against the intense heat of her skin. Another lunged at her legs, attempting to force her to leap back.

The  sudden, multiple attacks, where a serious distraction, attention divided between the shadowy claws tearing at the air around her and the need to maintain her distance from the pool.
Seeing the opportunity, the Neko demon acted with the speed and precision of a true predator. Ignoring the growing, oppressive heat radiating from the Hellhound's blazing form—a heat that was making her own skin feel raw—she darted forward, a flash of pure speed.

Her hand shot out and clamped down on one of the Hellhound's breasts, and pinched her nipple hard. It was a crude, brutal grab, meant to be purely distracting and humiliating. She felt the soft bounce of the tissue beneath her fingers, and then, with the sheer terror of the escalating heat forcing her movement, she jerked her hand back violently, the skin on her palm already beginning to redden from the proximity to the unholy flame.

She sprang backward several feet, landing lightly despite the haste of her retreat, her soaked hair flying. She shook her stinging hand and glared at the Hellhound, who was now fully engaged in the fight against the shadow horde.  "Enjoy your new friends, Hellhound!" the Neko demon yelled over the sounds of scraping claws and crackling flame, her voice triumphant despite the pain. "They're just getting warmed up! And don't worry, I'll be back to claim my payment when they've finished playing with you!"

Her summoned shadow cats pressed the attack, trying to drive the Hellhound back further towards the pool, forcing her to expend valuable energy fighting the ephemeral beasts while the Neko demon retreated just out of range of the most intense heat.

Hellhound only looked happier as the neko seemed to take offense into her words. The malicious attitude was one too commonly seen with demons, one buffed by too much ego or arrogance. It was one of the thing that annoyed the hound the most, especially when it was directed at her casually like she was a meaningless pet to leash around. This one neko was way too focused on trying to make this one dog a pet to beat down only to satisfy herself but Hellhound was not going to just let her do what she wanted. As she almost drowned earlier, feeling her awakened form in all of its heat only felt better, besides the fact that she wanted to train to get stronger anyway. This was the perfect opportunity. Number didn't scare her.

The shadow cats were nothing but a game for her, not that she did not see them as a threat. But a threat to Hellhound just meant another game to play anyway, until she came out victorious or... dead. Those ones had a ferocious offense but the hound leaped back, seeing the pieces of tiles and floor fly out from the attack. The cat that did almost touch her was not alone, though. More came and tried their way at her, slashing at her. Even if she was hurt, pushing a grunt out of her, the intense inside and outside heat helped heal the wound back anyway but if her regeneration was impressive as a hell beast, she was not invincible. This game was going to be fun either way. Soon summoning flames in her hands, she soon fought back.

Doing what she had done back in the forest, she started casting her flames around even if nothing could really be ignited, except for the cats themselves. She would try to either make them back off, burn them or see if it even affected them. Otherwise, using the blasting light from the fire as distraction. It appeared that the neko also had the same idea, only differently. Hellhound was focused on the cats but only just saw her come at her. As strange of an attack as it was, the neko did not even aim to strike her but instead went for her breast, pinching the nipple as to display her arrogance again, only in the worst time possible for her. The violent pain that the demon felt from it managed to make the beast laugh a little, at the least.

The distraction otherwise almost had worked to get her hurt some more but Hellhound rapidly kicked whatever cats dared to come closer, almost overrun by the monsters of that cowardly demon. Even if she wanted to make a verbal attack at the neko, the monsters barely allowed her the time to focus on her right now, as she tried to either move around quick or block and get pushed back. Looking over to the back, she could see a bigger threat coming for what was her fiery form. Being extinguished now, if the pool did that, would be terrible for her. Mustering her strength, she started clawing the ground and push ahead before she leaped forward, spinning her body like a fire drill to get out of her predicament, landing further.

Hellhound was taking hits, giving some, but the monsters were not defeated that easily. It was time to do a little more. Grinning a bit, the hound formed more flames around her paws and started doing fiery slashes and kicks at her opponents but mainly tried to do her fire push attack at them if the opening came up, to try and burn them from inside with her palm against them. If an opening came up, she even went as far as casting one of her fireballs at the neko so she did not get bored waiting. "I'll get them warmed up...! Hellhound will burn all and every ones of them!", the beast spat out while she fought, as an answer to her. "When I'm done with them, you will be last!", she finally said, feeling spirited with the heat of battle.

The Neko demon, nursing her stinging palm just out of the extreme heat, watched the hound engage her summoned shadow cats. The fire-wrought movements, the powerful kicks that sent the ethereal creatures scattering, were impressive, yet utterly infuriating. The hound's first bursts of flame, cast with a practiced savagery, hit their mark. The deep, hellish heat was anathema to the shadow constructs. Where the flames touched, the dense darkness instantly fractured and boiled away. Two of the smaller shadow cats, caught by a wide swath of fire, shrieked a soundless, visual wail as their forms dissipated into wisps of nothingness, leaving only faint, smoky residue on the tiles.
But the Neko demon was adapting. She noticed that the Hellhound’s flames, while destructive, were intensely bright.

Her eyes, still narrowed with predatory focus, flickered to the intense, dancing light emanating from the Hellhound's blazing form and the fire she was casting. Light, even light made of fire, casts shadow. And shadows, especially hers, were now a weapon. With a graceful, serpentine motion of her hands, the Neko demon began to stretch the shadows themselves. The deep, heavy shadows clinging to the edge of the pool and the walls of the room moved, drawn by her will toward the intense light source. The new shadows were thicker, more resilient, and acted like a thick, dark, suffocating blanket. They didn't extinguish the flames entirely, but they began to envelop the area, containing the spread of the fire and preventing the room from bursting into a conflagration. "No burning the furniture, puppy!" she sneered, her voice laced with mock authority.

"Such predictable defiance," the Neko purred, a dark smile playing on her lips. "But your distraction is my advantage." Focusing on the thickest part of the shadow she had just conjured, she wrenched a massive, solidified piece of it away from the wall. The shadow snapped into a new form in her hands, a colossal, tightly rolled tube of solid darkness, shaped like an old, over-sized newspaper. It was heavy, dense, and utterly non-flammable. With a flick of her wrist, and a bounce in ber breasts, she launched one end of the massive Shadow Newspaper at the Hellhound.

It wasn't a complex magical attack, but a weaponized object of pure physical force. The newspaper spun end-over-end, aimed straight at the Hellhound’s exposed flank as the hound was momentarily pushing back one of the last remaining shadow cats. It slammed into the side of her ass with the impact of a solid wooden club, eliciting a sharp thwack that echoed on the rooftop. Still trying to knock her towards the pool.

"A simple lesson in obedience!" the Neko yelled, her voice crisp and cruel. "Bad dogs get the paper!"

Of all things, Hellhound was not expecting much out of that demon. Her focus was on the monsters she fought at first and she was winning, for the most. As simple as this looked to be, she thought herself almost done with all this and she could take care of that demon once and for all. However, the neko had found a plan that nowhere in the hound's imagination would she have thought about it. While she was burning intensely with power in its pure energy, in a form she was still grinding to awaken more and more, her own cast shadows was soon to be made enemies of hers. It was not difficult to notice the little trick but to understand it was something else for her.

What the shadows did to the flames around was enough to tell her that this did not sound good but she could not stay still as the few monsters still kept her busy. As expected, the neko kept an attitude of superiority toward her, something that she would fix soon or later. What could plan other than burning herself against her now scorching hot fur and onyx skin? Her fiery eyes looked as curious as she was annoyed by her attempt to win this game still. The problem was that this neko started gaining too much confidence. This did not bode well but since it was a demon, chances were that it was nothing but bluff and an attempt at flaunting some imaginary superiority at her.

With some shadow forming out of that strange creation, a sort of tube appeared and while Hellhound did not exactly get the newspaper reference of it, what she saw was a blunt weapon of sort that would be used against her. Right now, she had to act fast otherwise let the demon think she might have the upper hand. Fighting one of the cats, she was not going to avoid being hit easily unless... As quickly as possible, Hellhound gave up her fight and moved down to the ground, flattening herself against it as much as possible. If the neko's arrogance fueled her attack, maybe the weaponised shadow would miss her AND hit the cat at the same time, however that worked.

"And bad demons get what? Claws and burns? I did not care about fighting a boring demon but you pushed Hellhound to want to punish you.", she playfully replied, spinning herself back on her paws after the attack passed. Her pride spoke loud, not having the strategic mind of that neko but rather moving based on strength and instinct alone, along with what fiery storm she might just unleash on her enemies. "You're annoying, already... I will turn you into ashes so I can go back to eat delicious food. Akemi will be proud of me and reward me, too!", she continued, her tail even wagging a bit as she spoke, her flames dancing around from her tail, paws and even her hair.

The Hellhound’s instinctual dive saved her from the full impact of the massive shadow weapon. She dropped to the ground with startling speed, the colossal Shadow Newspaper whipping over her back with a dark whoosh and slamming into the last, lingering shadow cat with a sickening, solid crunch. The impact, channeled through pure shadow force, instantly flattened and disintegrated the monster, scattering its smoky residue across the wet tiles. The sudden shift in her movement, and the successful elimination of the final cat, drew a surprised frown from the Neko demon.

Hellhound sprung back up, her body glowing with fiery defiance, and her wagging tail a bizarre counterpoint to the fury in her eyes. Her taunts about punishment and reward struck a nerve.
"You speak of punishment? You’re delusional, dog! I’ve barely begun to educate you!" the Neko snarled, her frustration mounting as she realized her creative, dominating tactics were only feeding the Hellhound’s combat high. The cat demon discarded the remaining husk of the shadow weapon. Her expression hardened, her movements becoming less theatrical and more ruthlessly efficient. She decided to press the advantage with speed and precision, banking on the Hellhound’s size and focusing on debilitating strikes rather than flashy dominance.

The Neko darted forward, blurring across the room with inhuman velocity. Her claws extended, dark talons of hardened keratin, and she aimed a lightning-fast rake at the Hellhound’s burning eyes, a direct, targeted attack designed to momentarily blind her. The hound had reacted not by thinking, but by flaring her aura. Before the Neko’s claws could connect, the Hellhound roared, releasing a wave of pure heat that momentarily doubled in intensity. The Neko's skin screamed in protest, forcing her to violently pull her arm back, leaving her attack short. The brief pause was all the Hellhound needed. Driven by brute force, she swung a fiery, backhand swipe, a massive arc of searing power, that clipped the Neko’s shoulder. The cat demon cried out, her momentum broken. The heat didn't just burn; it felt like a heavy, physical blow. She tumbled backward, skidding on the damp tiles.

The Neko scrambled to her feet, her breathing labored. She could not match the hound’s sustained heat output, nor her raw strength. She needed a new tactic. Remembering the hound’s weakness, she summoned a quick spell, pushing the water level of the pool up with a giant hand summoned from shadow, not enough to overflow, but enough to create a sudden, slick spray. Simultaneously, she lashed out with her tail, a thick, prehensile weapon ending in a spiked tip, trying to trip the hound with a low swep while she was distracted by the spray.

The water spray momentarily obscured her vision. As the Neko’s tail swept low, the Hellhound simply jumped, clearing the tail with a powerful, graceful leap. Mid-air, she pivoted and slammed both of her fire-infused paws down in a concussive strike right where the Neko was trying to pull back her tail.

The impact was devastating. The Neko felt the ground shake as the Hellhound landed, trapping the tip of her tail for a split second beneath the searing weight. With a pained, guttural shriek, the Neko demon wrenched her tail free, the spikes smoking slightly where the fire had touched them. She was now visibly shaking, her earlier composure completely shattered. Her elegant attire was torn, her movements losing their smooth coordination, and the raw, untamed power of the Hellhound was clearly overwhelming her carefully crafted maneuvers.

The cat-girl was on the back foot, breathing heavily, malice giving way to a flicker of genuine alarm.

Hellhound saw that the demon was starting to get more fierce. Finally, she would be met with some challenge from the neko now. "Edu... cate? Why do you demons always speak weird words? If you want a fight, you're the last one I can take on, now!", she taunted her with silly manners but once she saw the the neko rush at her incredibly fast, her eyes widened before an instant later, she would react by instinct to block with her arms but also overloads with power and heat. like she was startled to do so. Whether the attack connected with her or not, her anger and energy overload was soon unleashed and her hands burned bright with scorching flames from her palms before she punched with a fiery might at the neko. Soon, her energy calmed down again as she observed what the demon was up to, panting a little from how much energy she used.

Obviously, that dumb demon was not done yet. Her ears twitched as she looked toward the pool. If the hound could not be pushed inside as the neko wished, it looked like she was going to try to bring the water to her. This battle was fun but was starting to be exhausting. She never had spent this much energy before and much of it was new out of survival struggle and getting hurt while playing. The tail stabbed toward her and at the last second, she leaped sideways, rolling against the floor a bit to only leap fast on her legs once more to use her front paws in a push motion to blast against the demon in an attempt to strike back before she is herself struck, at the same time spinning and kicking down at her quickly if she had the time, only to stomp down against her in a blast of flames against the floor if her combo worked, leaving her on top.

Her naked body standing there, if the assault went as it seemed, emanated heat that caused any water to vaporize with sizzling sound, her hair, tail and worse, hands and feet, flickered with flames while she was herself panting heavier. The battle was causing a toll on her due to how much she had to fight so far but also due to her complete lack of control on her power. She had gone all out with the only goal of unleashing destruction upon her opponent, not caring if it caused serious harm. Unfortunately, this also made her look like a hellish monster out for blood if any humans saw it, with how bright she was. At this moment, especially naked, she would probably punish this neko by other means but this one had pushed her to have wishes of annihilation toward her. If the neko wanted a monster, she now had freed one who only wanted to kill her.

The Neko demon's ears flattened against her head as she watched the Hellhound react to the attempted tail sweep. The hound didn't just evade; she utilized the movement, rolling to gain momentum before launching into a violent counter-attack. The Hellhound’s counter was a blur of raw, unleashed fury. First, the dual-paw blast of searing heat slammed into the Neko, forcing a choked gasp and breaking her defensive stance. Before the Neko could recover, the Hellhound’s follow-up kick snapped out, driving into the demon’s ribs with the force of a battering ram. The Neko crumpled, and the final, crowning blow, a massive, fiery stomp came down. The Hellhound’s foot landed square on the Neko’s midsection. It wasn't just weight, it was an explosive burst of pure, hellish flame focused downward. The impact cracked more tiles, and the resultant thermal shock was intense. The force of the final fiery stomp, coupled with the raw heat, had one immediate, embarrassing side effect: the Neko demon’s remaining tattered clothing, was instantly shredded and blasted away into smoking wisps, leaving her entirely exposed beneath the Hellhound.

The cat demon was momentarily stunned, pinned beneath the agonizing weight and the searing heat. She looked up at the Hellhound, and saw the shift in the hound's eyes. The earlier playful aggression was gone, replaced by a terrifying, focused predatory intent. This wasn't a game to her anymore; she had awakened the beast.

Despite the pain and the sheer domination, the Neko demon refused to concede. Her mind, fueled by instinct, immediately seized on the Hellhound’s exhausted state. She thought the hound was running on fumes, that intense exertion taking a severe toll.

With a desperate, guttural roar of her own, the Neko demon channeled the last of her strength. Her hands shot up, covered in shadow shielding her from heat, seizing the Hellhound’s ankles—the only part of the hound she could reach securely. Utilizing a powerful, acrobatic burst of core strength despite the crushing weight on her stomach, she didn't try to push her off; she tried to launch her. Grunting through the pain, she threw her entire body upward, trying to use her own powerful legs to execute a massive, explosive inverted lift, intending to send the glowing, fiery beast flying high into the air.

"Get off me!" she screamed, the effort contorting her features into a mask of pain and desperate rage.

Hellhound stood as still as she could, wondering for a second if she was simply going to finish her like this. A demon cornered by a hell hound who was forged by the flames of the underworld, a beast on top of her who was yearning for her death without seeing potential consequences. Her focus entirely on her target, which her soft paw pressed on. "I told you that I would kill you...!", she spat out in anger. Demons always pushed her around. Those who knew better left her alone... Some powerful demons otherwise, while they could probably force their control upon her, saw only a lazy beast doing nothing most of the day except play and eat. The neko helped her unleash her rage.

This was no mere village to burn but a real opponent trying to hurt her, damage her pride, possibly slay her down. One that challenged her enough for her to push her limits. Her monstrous side and the meaning of what was a hellhound came back to the surface in a fit of fury. This was not mere cat versus dog but a neko demon with real powers versus a puppy with nothing but sheer and very blistering strength. "Why did you not shut up...? Your place is in hell! Go back and stay there!", she ordered, not realizing that she also was a beast from hell that did not exactly belong on the surface either. It seemed however that the demon was not entirely done,, mustering her last strengths.

Feeling her ankle being grabbed, Hellhound was not sure what she would do but the dog girl found herself thrown off upward, forcing her in the air. But the hound had a final trick up her sleeve, one she had previously used for show, to prove that she had a use to a certain bunny if she was given a fight to remember. Times had slightly changed since her temporary defeat at the hand of a magical girl. That fight would come again another day... For now, she could not lose this one. Charging her hellfire in her palm, it was time for hellscape. It didn't matter if she missed. As she went down, Hellhound pushed down, discharging her energy into an explosion all around the entire roof.
