Metroid Fans?

Any Metroid fans out there?

I don't know why, but I've been having the series on my brain a lot lately. 

(And I totally didn't have the recent epiphany that the reason I like Samus so much is because I'm bi and she's hot af lol)

Samus is hot af! Her, A2 from nier, and Tifa and Fran from final fantasy series, I always thought were the hottest video game characters.

Always thought is was nice of Nintendo to add zero suit Samus in the smash bros, complete with the heels.

I wouldn't exactly say I'm a fan, but I did like the games I did play...even if it was just the Prime Trilogy and a bit of Fusion.  Looking forward to hearing more news about Prime 4 after 3,000 years, though.

Despite this being a bit of a dead thread whose original poster hasn't been seen in a while, figured I'd jump in and see about getting some discussion going.

We've recently received more information about Metroid Prime 4, and in the gaming communities I'm a part of there's been mixed reception to the psychic powers. On one hand, they are functionally doing the same thing as any other upgrade, but Samus having psychic powers feels like a bit of a weird direction to go for a sci-fi franchise that hasn't really touched on that sort of mysticism before. Not in a substantial way, at least. Yes, there were Chozo Ghosts in the original Prime, but if I recall they were in part a manifestation of the Phazon plaguing the world.

Otherwise, the game looks great and the music sounds phenomenal.
