Lucy Skye's Room | Dorm #55

It doesn't take long before the application shows that the recipient, Karnis, shows that the messages have indeed been received and presumably read as well. Then the three dots emerging one after another in, before repeating, indicates an incoming message from her good friend. Her current avatar is that of a small and smiling character from one of the many series she likes to watch.

"Oh, hi Lucy! I am doing good, honestly. Just spacing out with another comedy show. Those humans really know how to make some funny stuff! How about you, BFF? "

Karnis was simply in her room, also on her bed and doing exactly what she told Lucy about. She didn't really have others over very often and mostly had to rely on her shows and movies and such to pass much of the time. She was definitely not a big one for books, except maybe comic books and the occasional short story in a magazine.

Lucy smiled wider, seeing the message pop up on her screen. Hearing that Karnis was well also took some worry off her mind. She replied instantaneously:

I'm doin' well!

Keya was just around so I'm a bit exhausted lol

Her fingers stopped for a moment before quickly tapping in another message.

Lemme know if you wanna do something together :)

Karnis, most often, is way more expressive and talkative over the text, which Lucy probably knows by now. Not having had much interaction with many others, the name Keya doesn't ring a bell to her, but she decides to not ask about it. However, her reply back is also swift.

"Exhausted? Why is that? Also...hanging out sounds like a lot of fun. It has been way too long since we did it. What would you like to do, Lucy?".

It was sometimes easy to forget that Karnis didn't really know people well. Even the ones from her class. The slime-girl replied to the message, glad that the girl couldn't see the slight blush on her face through the device.

He's always so energetic

It's hard to keep up sometimes >.<

She then quickly followed up on the question, in a surprisingly lengthy (at least for her) message. Contrary to Karnis, she was usually much less verbose in texts than usually.

Idk whatever you want! we can watch something or just chat. Or you could help me mix some tracks :D

She looked to the side, at the stack of musical equipment on her desk. She was actually working on a set of music tracks for each of her friends, though the project was still in really early stages. The original intention was to have a different genre for everyone, but it was hard to find the sounds of actual instruments, so so far Lucy kept to making mostly electronic music.

Karnis, innocent in many ways, would never be able to guess what have probably went on and the answer leaves her just as or even more confused. Usually, Lucy is pretty honest and open with her, which are some of the qualities she really likes about the slime girl. She is used to short messages from her BFF, but does not really shorten her own replies in return.

"What do you mean? Were you out running or what did you do? You never seemed like the sporty to me. Regarding our activities, if I am to decide for us, how about we try something I leaned about? Something humans call "sleepovers". It seems very popular between girls...want to try it out? It seems to involve watching movies, pillow fighting, eating sweets, talking secret girl stuff. It sounds weird, but also kind of fun...".

Lucy groaned slightly at Karnis' inquisitiveness. Her intention was never to imply what transpired between her and the dragon, and she expected that Karnis would be one to understand that just spending time with another expressive person can be sometimes straining. She decided to try and let that topic rest. Reading the rest of the message, she practically laughed out loud at the elaborate disquisition regarding sleepovers that Karnis has produced. A few swift messages were sent to Karnis' device.

Just give me a minute to restock on sweets

and we'll have the best sleepover evah!

Karnis, unlike her BFF, tends to write one, but longer message, at least when not conversing via verbal means. Though in Lucy's presence, she is indeed a lot more open and talkative. She smiles softly from the eager and enthustiastic response, giggling a bit even, as she imagines the fun and rather weid evening all of these new "traditions" might bring for them. After all, it is of human culture and not exactly a product of monstrous one. So she hopes she got it right and that they can do it in the right way, though her top priority is just to have a great time with her friend.

"Allright! Sounds very good. Oh right...and apparently dress code compells pyjamas to be worn. I'll be there in about 20 minutes", she quickly writes back, before packing a bag with her nightwear, some sleeping "gear",some movies and what snacks she might have herself.

After said 20 minutes, it knocks on Lucy's door.

And merely a minute later, Lucy joins the gazer. She looks happy, yet slightly tired, her moves a bit more sluggish than usual. It seems that she didn't take much care to change, instead simply zipping up her usual leather jacket, and pulling on a pair of shorts she wore earlier this day, to make sure she wouldn't get arrested for public indecency. A set of the usual headphones rests on her ears, causing her body to shake to the beat of some obnoxiously loud metal track playing from her phone. Located under her arm, a stuffed canvas bag of what can only be a multitude of sweets, hangs enticingly - Lucy barely managed to buy them, as most of the shops were closing down around this hour.

As soon she spotted Karnis before her door, her face immediately lightened up, a warm smile widening on her slimy face. During her race to the shop, she lost the track of time, so the sight of her little friend already at the door was quite a pleasant surprise. "Hey buddy! I hope I didn't make you wait too long!" she exclaimed - calmly enough not to startle the girl - and lowered  herself slightly, extending her arms to invite the gazer into a hug.

Karnis, very excited for this, went into packing stuff right away, even making a check list of items to bring and soon has all the things ready and with her.

She sees the cute gelly-like girl approach her own dorm room door, making her smile big and wide. She almost feel like running over and give her a hug, but she is not sure if she would just be squishing her into half like that. The thought alone does make the gazer girl giggle a bit as she imagines how funny it would look and is thankful for that it would not really harm the other girl. Her own arms are also full of stuff to carry, but luckily she only had a short trip from one dorm room and to the other one.

She sees the invitation for a hug, so she puts down her things and walks over, still smiling cutely."Hey Lucy! I thought you were inside. Happy to see you, like always. Dang...you look ready to sleep already! WE cannot have that...there is SO much we are going to do together!", she says happily while embracing the slime girl.

Lucy lowered herself to embrace the small form of the gazer girl, her arms wrapping around in a slick, slimy, yet particularly warm hug. Her fingers ran through the gazer's hair, playfully ruffling it, as a stream of words flew out of the cute little monster's mouth. Karnis' excitement brought a wide smile to her face. "Just got us something to munch on," Lucy chuckled. "Don't worry, I can keep up all night. You'll have to guide me through that sleepover thing though," she decided, giving Karnis a gentle boop on the nose, before releasing her from the embrace. "You know waaay more about this than I do!"

She rose back to her feet, and moved towards the door, picking up Karnis' things from the ground, and produced the keys from the back pocket of her shorts and unlock the door. She smiled, and motioned for the gazer to enter, following right after.

Karnis only has a few people where she feels really at ease with and able to act mostly normal around and Lucy being one of these. She clearly remember meeting the slime girl rather accidentally on day one. Some other monsters were being meanies and try to gang up on poor Lucy. Acting braver than usual, Karnis simply darkened the room around the group and hauled Lucy away from the others and to safety.

She happily accepts the lovely and friendly hug from Lucy and then look at the stuff she brought with her."Oh wow! Quite the haul there. Looks like a great time! WE should have done this way before as well!", Karnis comments before being put down once more. She pulls out a written list."I am not so sure. I just read online what others do and copied the most reoccuring things. Such as: eating lots of snacks, pillow fighting, watching movies, girl talk. The only thing I really know of this is eating snacks, haha", she says and laughs softly, very fitting for her.

After that she enters along with her dear friend.

There was no other person like Karnis for Lucy. She remembered well how they accidentally met on day one. Lucy had been dealing with some dorks who thought it was a good idea to gang up on a slime girl, and just when she was about to prove them wrong, Karnis appeared and covered the room in darkness, bringing widespread confusion, and forcing Lucy to go and escort the little gazer away to safety.

She smiled happily, Karnis' voice bringing her back from the pleasant memory. "You know it! Told you we're having the best sleepover ever!" she exclaimed laughingly, giving Karnis a side wink. Seeing the gazer produce an entire list of activities, she raised an eyebrow, listening to her ideas, and laughed alongside her as she finished. "Well, sounds easy enough! Worst case scenario, we'll just stuff ourselves full of snacks!" she concluded, herself taking a snoop into what Karnis brought as they both stepped inside.

She closed the door behind them, frowning slightly as she heard that single speaker still play the playlist she put on recently. She thought she had turned it off when she left. It sounded quite nice though, and Lucy found it fitting for a sleepover, Hopefully, Karnis would too. The slime girl rested the bags on the stack of nearby boxes, turning around to check on the gazer girl nearby. "Soo... Pyjamas, right?" she made sure.

Karnis is already very hyped and excited, almost jumping from it and hearing how her best friend is thrilled and ready as well. She gives Lucy a hug once more, as her way to express her extreme delight."Best sleepover yet-hug!", she says, almost squealing, looking cuter than ever, her eye balls dancing around her as she does this, mimicking her mood. She nods and giggles at the comment of being with sweets if all else fails. She is certain they will have a grand time though - there is no doubt in her mind.

She enters the room and puts down her own stuff at the nearest empty spot on the floor and smile widely."Yes, indeed! Pajamas! Where do you want to start on the list? You are the host, so I think it's fair we do that first", she exclaims and picks out her own sleep wear.

"Well turn around, goofball, imma change." Lucy laughed out heartily, kneeling to produce a complet of PJs for herself from the nearby cardboards, and herself turned away, giving the girl a chance to do the same. Karnis' joy and enthusiasm were quite contagious. As she got into the pyjamas, the slime-girl kept her ear open for Karnis' suggestions, in her mind considering options. Most of these were quite restful, so perhaps it would have been wise to start with something more active and tire themselves down first. With that in her mind, once done changing, she turned her head to the side, giving the gazer a side glance and a smug smirk, before diving under her bed to produce something from underneath. "Well I say..." she started slowly, keeping said thing covered by the bedframe. "...catch!" she exclaimed, throwing a pillow straight at the gazer.

Just like Lucy, Karnis quickly gets to change, though oddly enough she seems much less shy about undressing or redressing around other females, pretty comfortable with it, at least enough to have it never appear to bother her. Soon enough, the adorable little gazer girl has gotten into her own red pair of pajamas. They are soft and smooth, made of pretty satin and feeling so nice against her skin. She puts her normal clothes away into the same bag again, already not wanting to make too big a mess. Of course, with her attention mostly on other stuff, she hardly has the reflexes and time to properly understand what is happening and ends up with a pillow to her face, taking her completely by surprise."Ohhhh, I'll get you! You will pray for mercy soon!", she soon giggles and jumps at Lucy with the pillow in her hand, aiming to smack her back.

"Hah, you should have seen your face!" Lucy laughed in delight, clutching the other pillow in her hands. Her eyes widened at the sudden retaliation, forcing her to raise her guard in defense to the fierce aerial attack. Overestimating the strength of the impact of the little gazer, she felt her own pillow get pushed into the side of her head, causing her to stagger backwards, giggling alongside her cute friend. "Ahh, we'll see who'll be the one praying when I'm done with you!" she responded, catching her breath - and her ground - and preparing herself to strike at Karnis' side, whenever the girl would push on with her assault.

Karnis frowns, but in the cutest way possible at the light taunt from Lucy whilst "assaulting" her with the pillow she got tossed after her. Much to her own surprise, the slime girl was actually hit, getting unstable on her standing and wobbling backwards. She laughs openly, but playfully at her classmate from the result of her attack,"You wish! You will have to wake up early for once, Lucy!",  she retaliates verbally while sticking out her tongue and grinning wide. Of course, she could cheat and turn the whole room pitch black, but seems to go against the spirit of things. With Lucy on the defense she looks for any opening and now instead try to hit around her tummy around, at least where it would be on normal bodied people."Take that!".

"Hey, that was a cheap shot!" Lucy laughed heartily alongside the girl, not quite stating whether she was refering to the pillow she just pulled from her face or the verbal jab thrown at her by the gazer. A wide-spread grin was now ever-present on her face, as she started to get into the heat of things,

Seeing a follow-up attack coming, the slime-girl barely dodged away from the strike, maybe just slightly abusing the flexibility of her body to get out of the way of the pillow, and launched her own counter-offensive at Karnis' waist, pulling her punches a bit, not to knock her over - she didn't want her best friend to get injured after all.

"Perhaps! But if it works, it works! I am not going to let you beat me!", she continues to giggle out, already having a grand time together with the slime girl. Just like Lucy, she is starting to get the hang of this whole pillow fight deal and is starting to see how human females enjoy this. Luckily for Lucy, her little agility trick does not catch the eyes of Karnis and thus goes unnoticed. Before the gazer knows it, she has been hit by the counter attack from the gel lady. She stumbles around for a second, but keeps laughing in delight."Ohhhh, you! I am not through with you", she squeals between happy giggles. Then a quick right fling of the pillow aims for the side of Lucy.

It was truly fascinating how absurd and creative entertainment human females could invent, but Lucy had to admit that it was exceptionally fun. She laughed in satisfaction at her own successes as much as at the adorable viciousness of the pillow-armed gazer.

"You've been practicing, goofball!" She responded with a smirk to the pillow bouncing off her side, in a playful tone accusing the little gazer. Simultanously, she backed off, avoiding the following blow and giving herself a bit more space, her back pressing against the wall. "Haah, we'll see about that!" She grinned widely, pushing herself off said wall, and using the momentum to strike against Karnis' pillow, trying to knock it out of her hands.

The two females seems to be very frolicking with their fight with the pillow. The weird ideas humans get, can indeed be fun and interesting, it seems. Indeed, this does let them interact with one another in a totally new and different way. Honestly, Karnis has never really had much chance to feel like a normal female or even had many chances to hang out with others, making Lucy extra special to her."I haaaaave noooot! I am just more a natural than you, silly!", she laughs out, very energetic still, but feeling how it does wear on it with this pillow fighting. She can tell what Lucy is trying to do and quickly dodges, but ends up tripping and falling forwards, landing onto Lucy, making them both fall together.

Lucy felt the pillow in her hands slip, the momentum working against her, as Karnis dived forwards straight into her. Caught by surprise, the slime-girl stumbled a few feet backwards, her lips parting slightly in surprise, before landing softly on her butt, her body cushioning the fall of the little gazer on top of her. It took her a second of silence to realize what happened, after which she burst into laughter, wrapping her arms around the girl. "Is this the part where I pray for mercy?" she asked between her breaths, her hand playfully ruffling Karnis' hair. There wasn't anyone else that Lucy cared as much as she did about Karnis, and being able to see the joy on the gazer's face was a reward in itself for the goo-girl. "You natural goofball~" she teased with affection, and hugged her tightly.

The gazer girl gives off the cutest "eep" noise know to anyone as she soon finds herself being dragged down with Lucy and landing on top of her, their bodies only clad with a pajamas each. It takes Karnis a few moments to realize what happened and the reaction of Lucy doess help push it. She blushes lightly and giggles adorably as well once she finds herself wrapped into the arms of the slime girl, who feels warm like always, Karnis having a huge smile on her face."Maybe it is, maybe it's not. It could be now, in the middle of the night, next or many years from now now", she jokingly teases Lucy. She would stiffen up right away or turn on the darkness if almost any other touched her like this, but with Lucy she is feeling good with it and even blushing a little bit as well."Haha, well! You just bring out of me I guess. Like you are one to talk", she retorts, sticking out her tongue and hugging back.

Lucy's smile only widened at the adorable sound made by the gazer. She tightened her arms around the girl for a second, wanting her to feel how strongly she cares for her, and still with a smirk on her face, listened to what her friend had to say.

"Well you'll have to make up your mind, or I'm gonna be forced to consider this a draw!" the slime-girl winked, grinning widely, just before falling into yet another joy-induced burst of laughter, throwing her head back and shaking lightly on the floor with her friend in her embrace. It took her a moment to calm down with a longer sigh, after which she released Karnis from the affectionate clutches of her arms, which she folded behind her own head, giving the girl a curious look. A smile danced on her face at the retort, and the hug that followed. "Well then, bud, shall we cross pillow fighting off the list?"

The tight hug causes Karnis to give off another light cute noise from being "assaulted" by affection, but it still one of delight and joy, sounding most likely like a squeal of some sort. The gazer girl is not keen on having Lucy declare it a truce, but only out of playful teasing."Ohhh, you will see Lucy...you will need to sleep with half an eye open until I get ya", she continues, before adding."...but tonight I will let you feel the mercy of Karnis!", she giggles out and winks.

She does her best to return the warm and lovely embrace being given to her from Lucy. It is probably only the slime girl she is really physical with, so when she finally does allow someone to, she gives it her all. Karnis, once released, doesn't really notice that she is still sitting on top of Lucy."Yeah, I think so! It was great fun! We should do it some other time too!", she says and giggles cutely.
