Well, my characters have none of that. I saw the cyberpunk and understand the meaning of augments buuut. I am not sure what character could just have cyber stuff like network plugs and etc. It's all ideas I've already seen from the cyberpunk series itself and I don't wanna copy. Also, don't really wanna do what Val'halla characters did.

I don't have a cyberpunk work but I did have a dark city. It was based on fantasy more than science fiction, though. Characters I had back there probably would not fit here. I mean, I do have some possible choices but they are not mutant-ish like what I've seen in cyberpunk styles. What characters I have may not exactly fit the setting.

A way i found to make this easy was to pick a role, figure out what kind of tool would help that roll, and integrate it into their body, maybe find an alternative version so that integration is not only good for one thing.

For example my character is going to have fingers that double as bar taps, with her breasts being internally padded to... exapand well she stores some booze... to make it a little more fun her breasts leak said booze when her nips are stimulated :3 whole little ecosystem of cybernetics integrated there!.

Maybe you want to play a singer? Incorporate a microphone directly into her throat and some speakers in her body, instant performance anywhere she is. Moans on surround sound anyone?

A mechanic? Aside from her multitool hand she has a roller board integrated on her back, letting her slide into tight spaces effortlessly, its also quite fun to get pounded missionary with your entire body sliding around with each thrust :3

tldr you take an job, pick something they use for the job, cram it in, you have cybernetics  :D bonus points for finding... alternative uses<3

Yeeeah, no. I don't picture any of my characters wanting to mess with their own body for semi-features. I get that in cyberpunk in general, lot of "people" seem to make very terrible or otherwise pretty questionable choice when it comes to their body. (And people do that IRL too) but I wanna stick to something a bit more natural and/or normal?

If I have a robot, it will not have questionable features either. I might sound boring with that choice but I can't really see myself pick otherwise. The Cyberpunk look is great but I'll leave the oddness of the messed side of it to others. And I was a fan of Gunnm (Battle angel alita), Valhalla and etc. At least on the visual, Bastet or Arish kinda work well.

I know Gunnm had a good representation of "Just get augments to become more of a super human or cyborg" but I also saw LOT of messed up stuff on that side. Ghost in the shell also went pretty wack on that side. Sooo. I'll try to aim for something a little more low profile. Even an android/AI with designed features for their role might fit more.

well if body enhancements isn't your thing, have you considered an artificer route... or specifically a individual that improves them selves with just gadgets  not ingrained into their body. like an inventor or engineer of some sort?

Inspector gadget is considered a cyborg in his series, in case this is not entirely clear. He's basically a half human at this point because his body is comprised of all the gadgets he uses. I don't see it as very different from what we were talking about. It's all the same "Changing your body so it use technology to do something you normally can't".

The way Inky makes it sounds can be interpreted as more subtle, though. Like, a chip or something. A character of mine somewhere does have such a feature in order to do something she normally can't. She IS taken in another roleplay but yeah. It's complicated though. This opens the door to SO many choices if I decided to go more complex.

I'll admit cyberpunk has never been my roleplay style either (Despite enjoying a couple of stories I've mentioned before). Like, I really enjoy Rebecca but I doubt I'd ever be able to pull this kind of thing on a character of mine. Then there's cyberpunk himawari. (Yes, I know the real character is obviously not her but she looks so alike. It's insane)

Tails is fair. He's a genius inventing plenty of things and devices. I do have female Tailsia in Troubled Souls, just saying. Sadly, can't use her here. :P

For what I believe to be cyberpunk, I have to aim for edgier, darker, more science fiction. So far, only Bastet applies. Or maybe Arish or Warning...

This is a part of what worries me with this setting. I know there's a kind of "F2F" going on but both the characters that I had in mind, while in places where sex had its place, I'm not sure if they would fit the whole "You can fuck anyone you like, anytime and anywhere you like". Arish by example took care of rooms (Like an inn) made for fun times.

Yes, that makes sense lol

That is also why there is a consent thing at the bottom of each character sheet, so TECHNICALLY she can be F2F or not.

Seeing as how you are kinda struggling with deciding(or already know you don't want it), I think you can just put "required" so people have to check in.

Just now, SataiRolePlayingGuy said:

There was some talk of staff not being allowed to do it while on the clock, or only under certain circumstances.  That could be one way to work around it maybe.   The whole being paid to do it might only apply to certain staff to.

Yeah, I can imagine only bartenders and waitresses are actually paid to do it, considering a manager's job is to keep the place running, and a bouncer is meant to keep the peace.
