Did hear from Gard.  Will let him give the details when he is back, if he wants.  But might be some time before he is back, though he does want to keep playing when he is able.  Can consider whether we wait or shift things around, especially with Evi.

Him being gone means we are screwed for the mecha story as well. (Not blaming him of course, just stating the situation). It's a bit of a shame.

It's a private club.  Was originally a few more people but currently down to the three of us, as we have had to make adjustments since the rule change.  Yeah, now on hold until he is back, though I'm sure he wants to get back to that too when he can.

Another minor update from Gard.  I've been hearing this on Discord, at the time being he says doesn't have the needed privacy to be able to login to the site.  He is hoping to be able to get on before October.  But nothing more specific.

Probably issues with problematic users again. Welp. Too bad. I just hope some activity happens anyhow. Even if I try, I can't get much these days. x.x

Can't say anything about it. I don't know much myself but I only know it involves some personal "drama". Gard will come back when he feels comfortable.

@DreamsnThings Like I said, no rush.  Take time on getting better, and see if we wait for Gard to be back before some or all of the downstairs trio gets up to anything else.   But like I said while you were out, you, and Gard when he is back are free to add any thoughts you have about the wider setting or specific places/things that might be worth adding to the setting development topic (the one thing there at the moment is something you may remember of course, but something you could remind yourself about if needed, or possibly consider adjustments to cyberpunk the place up).

the only thing I can specifically think of that would be fun to expand on would be the twitch equivilent I made up for my character, fleshing it out so its not quite a 1 to 1 and fits more in a cyberpunk style world.

I have no clue! but it should be neat if say some folk could directly control compatible things in the stream environment, kinda like how twitch integration lets viewers give streamers gifts irl.

would also be interesting if people who for one reason or another no longer have a physical body they could still have a sorta presence on the digital side of things, with VR modifications letting streamers stream with and see viewers who are digital only...

for the lewd side of things, could be hilarious if particularly famous streamers could get a sex toy themed after their genitalia, and have it connect with the streamers nerves when they enable it

Maybe... Hell, I can imagine there being a black market for other extremely famous people's genitalia sex toys!

Well, funny you mention that because Emiko technically comes from the digital space. it's almost like Megaman battle network stuff. So that could be an introduction to it, kinda. I have some characters I could use that also matches this kind of thing and system. I've had some characters dealing with digital networks here and there through my stories.

I could always use someone who could have helped Emiko find herself to reality. It's basically like taking megaman.exe and making a real life copy of it. I am just throwing ideas, though. The digital space itself can be comprised of anything. Jack into whatever and find how things work. (Cyberpunk does it anyway, or at least to an extent.)

Mecha Mao could be part of the net navi thing going on. (Mao really is everywhere. She is a multiversal being of sort. Like a 4D being in Star Ocean). But yeah, ideas ideas. I am mostly digging into the part of fantasy science fiction of it more than anything. Megaman had odd object with net ports so who knows how far this can really go.
