So question... I might read the answer elsewhere but I'm a little adhd right now so pardon the overthinking. Monster sanctuary means the monsters are free (and live there by their own will) or are monsters more in captivity of sort? I seriously ask to find the best monster girl (or hunter?) that fits with the correct mentality. Wild in nature or "civilized".

My understanding is that the monsters are here under free will, maybe cause they are hunted species? They can't fit into society? Or the monster could be dangerous and kept here to avoid interactions with humans? 

Dante could be an example. Dante would've wanted to join because being constantly monitored and followed 24/7, caused by how rare he is and being studied, which was exhausting, he isn't aggressive naturally, so the researchers took full advantage of it. I'd imagine the headcanon is that the researchers are against the idea since they need to keep studying him, but Lune doesn't allow them inside and will only allow requests for reports on Dante. Since they aren't welcome, Dante will deal with them with extreme prejudice if they try to enter. For obvious reasons, any newcomers or guests/NPCs appear in the sanctuary; Dante has been informed beforehand of their arrival, so he doesn't go ape shit, as he did with the poachers lol.

Thinking about it, it could be a mixture of both? To protect the monsters and the people as well, heck could even run a mating program; they are here to help with the repopulation of their species . Just my two cents, though.

The Lune profile seems to suggest she seduces/tames the monsters into coming to the sanctuary.  But not sure if that is true of every single one, or if there is variation.  I think the idea is not really captive, but not likely to want to leave either.  That’s my interpretation of it, see what the official/more complete answer is.

It's a mixture really. There isn't going to be monsters in cages but there might be some in certain sections that are like a zoo you know wide fences that keep them in for their own protection and most of the time it's Lune goes out there and seduces the monsters or captures them she will tanqualize a monster if it's too unruly when she meets it. But she tries her best to have their encounters be fun sexy and hot.

So... They come from elsewhere or are "born" there. It's really just for my starting point. If monsters have a feeling of "coming from somewhere" and they got used to the sanctuary or they lived there at all times, etc. I told you it was overthinking. I suppose I should see it like monster hunter, a safari place or the likes. (I did read some area descriptions)

I am still thinking about what I want to go for and I am very indecisive about difficult choices so I was thinking either a wild Pyra or a wild Aqua. (The latter would fit for the crystal caverns and water parts of it.) My last question would be... How smart would you say the monsters can be? Are some more savage and some like human level of intellect?

I am making a hunter oc that's like, half incubus and intersex (it'll make sense when I post him just give me like a day or two, I need to find a good piccrew for him or a good refence image)

Monsters are born from Two manners they manifest from the earth or are born naturally from a female. Monsters can breed with any species and itll usually just be the monster race. Though half breeds exist they're less common.

Depends on how your monster was created but most "pure" monsters one day start existing somewhere. Born from the mana in the air

Yeeeah, that's gonna be a little awkward for me since my females would mostly breed with other females. Which is not much for "breeding". Sadly won't be much help to increase the population. XD I could easily have more than one female but they won't actually, uhh... make babies. Although being born from the mana work with my elemental beasts.

...Just to make sure, do we have a kind of volcano or otherwise hot place?

We don't have one made, in the big zone menus, but each zone can have smaller zones inside of it. Like a volcano area or hot zone. The ones i've posted are just overviews and can be broken down as the RP needs! :D

Zelnath apparently was making some mistaken assumptions in my last post.  But will just assume she does not know reproduction is still possible, she’s still fairly new in the sanctuary.  Whether she does any of it herself will be found out later.

See what Zelnath can do when it’s my turn.  Maybe about Dante and about Mina.  Mina at least does not have to worry about a centaur joining in on her at the same time or taking a turn with her for now (or in the future, unless she gets more comfortable with bigger sizes).
