Guilty or Not Guilty

Not guilty. There are many great black and white films - a ton of Akira Kurosawa's work comes to mind, Gunga Din, Beau Geste, Captain Blood, Dr. Strangelove... But a lot of those movies were made far outside Hollywood.

But there is a huge amount of fabulous film done in color.

Not Guilty. But giving it a quick search reminds me of having an edible and watching Heavy Metal with a group of friends. That alone gets it a spot on the to-watch list. 

The next person has been to a show and seen a band perform live in 2025.

Not guilty. I can't actually tell you the last time I saw a band live. Pre-COVID for sure.

Next poster has been to the ballet in the past year.

Not guilty. It's been... definitely pre-covid for any ballet or philharmonic performances. But I did see a band in Feb! My cousin's band performed at a local venue and got the crowd hopping! He's a born performer, though. I wish I had his talent to get people into the music.

 

The next person has been to a bar within the last couple weeks.

Not guilty. I quit drinking twenty years ago. I've been to a few punk shows at bars since but even that's more than a decade ago.

The next poster likes amusement parks but hates roller coasters.

Next person likes to go to local fairs every now and then.

Guilty. Little local art fairs and craft fairs can be fun to just walk around for a bit. When I've lived nearby to Renaissance Festivals, I've always loved them too (though, I'm not sure it's in the spirit of the claim given its a lot of travelling performers at those).

The next person owns something that they won in a bet.
