Reasoned Posted June 23, 2025 Posted June 23, 2025 I don't know how to reply. Probably not guilty. I do put oils on my hair, cuz otherwise I'd be balding like mad (tested by experience, no oil = less hair). Takes about 10 mins of my day. The next poster knows how to cook a specific food and loves cooking it.
WritesNaughtyStories Posted June 23, 2025 Posted June 23, 2025 Guilty. Several things actually. Dosa, fritatta, paella, brisket, curry... My old man told me when I was very young, "Boy, if you want to eat well, you need to learn to cook well, 'cause no one's gonna cook for you." That turned out to not actually be true, but I have always loved good food and thought about going to culinary school. Next poster hates cooking.
IsabellaRose Posted June 23, 2025 Posted June 23, 2025 Not guilty. It’s one of my favorite ways to show important people in my life how much they mean to me- cook something extravagant for them! The next person eats out far too often.
WickedCadrach Posted June 23, 2025 Posted June 23, 2025 Not Guilty. There's only a couple good options if I want to eat out near me, and it's too expensive anyway. Also I enjoy cooking The next person has a particular food that they consider sexy (take that however you like).
AmberBi Posted June 23, 2025 Posted June 23, 2025 Guilty. First time my boyfriend cooked for me, he cooked some simple pasta, with some chicken, peas and a good amount of Parmesan and pecorino romano. Just the amount of attention to detail he had while cooking, made me fall even harder for him than I already did at the time. So yea, very sexy food in my mind. The next person has one favorite food that they could eat everyday till the end of time.
WritesNaughtyStories Posted June 23, 2025 Posted June 23, 2025 Guilty. I have two to choose from and would be happy either way: pho or biryani. Next poster has won more than $100 in a single card game.
IsabellaRose Posted June 23, 2025 Posted June 23, 2025 Not guilty, at least not in a card game. The next person has lost more than $100 in some type of gambling.
WritesNaughtyStories Posted June 23, 2025 Posted June 23, 2025 Not guilty. Two things I know, "Never take someone else's bet." and "Cook it yourself." Next poster has an online sports book account.
IsabellaRose Posted June 24, 2025 Posted June 24, 2025 Not guilty. I don't know enough about gambling or sports to make that worth my time. Plus, I have enough addictions... I don't need to add to them. The next person has an addictive personality.
Gilded Obelisk Posted June 24, 2025 Posted June 24, 2025 Not guilty. I have a very low opinion of gambling and substances. Next poster has a strong opinion about a specific board game.
WritesNaughtyStories Posted June 24, 2025 Posted June 24, 2025 Guilty. There aren't many I don't have a strong opinion about. Is there one in particular you'd like to hear about? Next poster loves a widely hated video game and doesn't get the hate.
Gilded Obelisk Posted June 24, 2025 Posted June 24, 2025 Guilty. Dead By Daylight is way more fun and balanced than people give it credit for. 26 minutes ago, WritesNaughtyStories said: Guilty. There aren't many I don't have a strong opinion about. Is there one in particular you'd like to hear about? Next poster loves a widely hated video game and doesn't get the hate. Tell me about your thoughts on Monopoly Next poster has a specific year they always used when doing website age verifications as a kid.
WickedCadrach Posted June 24, 2025 Posted June 24, 2025 Not Guilty. There was plenty to find without going to sites that needed me to put in a birthday. I was also afraid that 'they'd know' and somehow I'd get in trouble. The first time I used a porn site that required age verification, I was already eighteen. Also, not that you asked me, but Monopoly's big issue is that it takes too long to play for it to be a game with player elimination. I hate when a game can just slowly pick people off and you just have to go do something else or sit and watch. Also it's capitalist propaganda... but that's not a gameplay critique. The next person has had sex while playing a game (board game or video game... or sport I guess, in which case—impressive)
WritesNaughtyStories Posted June 24, 2025 Posted June 24, 2025 Guilty. A video game. Guitar Hero. On Monopoly it was intended to be a critique of capitalist greed (the Monopoly Man is, if I remember right, based on the cartoons critical of Robber Barons), but the point got lost. The game play is mercilessly slow and there's nothing to do when it's not your turn. It's turn of the last century mechanics were traditional at the time, but without a catch-up mechanic (which would defeat the cruel lesson of the game) once you're behind there's nothing to do but wait. Now it feels interminably slow, but again, like Robert Howard or Edgar Burroughs, it's a product of a different time - 6 hours wouldn't interrupt anything and the radio could be on. It might be an interesting thought experiment to work on speeding up game play to fit it into the "ideal" modern window of 2 hours or less. Next poster has more than one RP response they're WAY behind on. 1
Gilded Obelisk Posted June 24, 2025 Posted June 24, 2025 Not guilty. I am in fact all caught up and painfully so. I eagerly await more chances to write. Next poster has a scenario idea they haven't posted because they think it's too greedy.
WickedCadrach Posted June 25, 2025 Posted June 25, 2025 Guilty-ish. I came back to the site a few months ago, and my thought at the time was 'You just got here, see if you can match up with people who have been looking for partners before you drop in any of your own ideas'. I still haven't posted a bulletin for my own ideas. I probably won't for a while. In the spirit of the question, I'll also say Guilty. In my doc where I keep my 'secret prompt ideas' there are two tiers... and I'm going to need a few drinks before I post any of the tier 2 ideas where another human could see them. The next person has made character playlists (music playlists inspired by a character idea or 'if my character had a playlist')
WritesNaughtyStories Posted June 25, 2025 Posted June 25, 2025 Not guilty. A few characters have had a favorite band or artist, but I'm such an old-head that I don't do playlists. If I can't randomize the whole catalog, I'm probably not interested. Next poster has written a snuff scene.
Gilded Obelisk Posted June 25, 2025 Posted June 25, 2025 Not guilty. I've written death scenes before, but never in an ERP context. Only thing dead about my ERPs is my notifications. Next poster can't use certain names in their RPs because they know people IRL with those names
AmberBi Posted June 26, 2025 Posted June 26, 2025 Not guilty. The names for my characters I do think fit the characters I am using in my RPs, even if it is a name of someone I know. The next poster has caught themselves starting to write something in "normal life", in a style they use for RP.
IsabellaRose Posted June 26, 2025 Posted June 26, 2025 Not guilty. The next person has a favorite flavor of ice cream.
WritesNaughtyStories Posted June 26, 2025 Posted June 26, 2025 Not guilty, unless "yes" is an option. Pistachio, chocolate, vanilla sherbet.... Yes, it's my favorite. Nest poster has a regular, everyday soft drink.
IsabellaRose Posted June 26, 2025 Posted June 26, 2025 Not guilty. I quit drinking soft drinks years ago. I have a whole snake oil rant about soda and soft drinks in general that I won't launch into now, but the only non-alcoholic things I drink now are water, unsweetened iced tea, and black coffee. The next person owns more of something than any one person ought to own.
Minorikawa Posted June 26, 2025 Posted June 26, 2025 Guilty. I still have game consoles from when I was a kid and the games I bought for them. Granted, it's not the largest collection out there, but I'm not exactly getting rid of anything even as some of it sits in storage. Even if it takes me until I'm in a retirement home (hahahahahaha like I'll ever get to retire) I'm going to have a set up with a CRT for retro and HD for "modern" and live through the glory days as intended just as much as the new stuff. The next poster has an expensive hobby of some sort.
Gilded Obelisk Posted June 26, 2025 Posted June 26, 2025 Not guilty. All my hobbies - PC gaming, writing, RPing, and catching cryptids - are cheap or highly money-efficient so I can focus my money on essentials. Next poster wants an animal that is not legally allowed as a pet.
IsabellaRose Posted June 26, 2025 Posted June 26, 2025 Not guilty... but when I was a teenager I wanted a pet monkey which my father told me was illegal. I never checked, but I guess that makes me... previously guilty? The next person is avoiding a task they should be taking care of...
