Yeah, I definitely felt a little of that fog coming back. I skimmed a bit but decided I just needed to get something rolling before I delayed any longer. We'll get the feel of it back after a few posts.

So, to touch on what @WritesNaughtyStories wrote in the RP thread, I personally do not mind if other people want to grab the reins on an NPC even after I start something with them. So, for instance, if @DreamsnThings had an idea for how Derek would react here, I'd be comfortable her jumping in.

But yeah, absolutely, Dylan gets a string on Derek and I think my gut reaction is that he'll get suddenly awkward and acting out 'extra masculine' because of how enticing he's finding Dylan (I think in my head canon, he thought Dylan was a guy and this is fucking with his binary brain). But if someone else gets to a reply before me, follow your hearts ❤

I think he masks that awkwardness by telling me to "go on, get the fuck away from us" and lets me go up to the house because he thinks that's what I want. Either way, Derek is turned on but does Dylan mark experience for acting like a freak?

I think that makes sense. I think Derek is definitely thrown off enough here that he's not looking to prolong the interaction. 

On the XP question, I know the Hollow gets an XP for gaining a new condition, but I don't see where Dylan would get one for leaning into a condition or acting on it. If Dylan has A Blank Canvas, then they could leverage it here to cross off freak. I could imagine the mood shifting a bit, with the others taking Derek's lead off an unspoken thought of 'Oh! Dylan's kind of hot actually... they can't be a freak if I want to get freaky with them...'

Dylan does have Blank Canvas. The question is, have they lost "freak"? I don't think I should get to decide that,  but, in thinking about it, it seems like there would have to be witnesses seeing Derek and his friends interacting with Dylan in some other way.

I agree. I don't think Dylan's lost freak yet. Someone with influence over Dylan's reputation (like a Derek) could do something, but I think it's going to take a more concrete interaction or pulling a string in a significant way.

Soooo Velvet just got a bit too protective of robin and pulled some strings... in the form her her strings attached bargin...  I can ask the Dark power for something that I really really want. the MC will attach a price to the thing I want, and hint at an undesired twist in its nature. IF I pay the price, Ill get what Im after...

buuut we dont have an MC atm, but I dont think I should pick this myself... anyone have any ideas?

...well fuck it, since we kind of are off the rails a little anyways.

my plan for him was to have been responsible for several disappearances in the area, the catch being that... velvet frankly doesn't have a full... idea of what he wants... and part of her deal with him lets him take control of her body on some occasions(chance on darkest self). she knows that those who have gone missing are not dead, but she doesnt know what he has done with them. he does not lie, but he will never show all of his cards. currently? he has his eyes set on robin herself, hence the mission I mentioned IC... not that velvet... intends to follow that to the intent behind the letters... she has an idea that the supernatural is more... prevalent around here, even catching mr ascars slipping that something divine is present that he wants to snuff out before it becomes something... worth paying attention to

If he wants Robin, you;re going to have to offer him something extra special - I think he want to take Charlotte.

I have a clear vision for this, but we're still working out this MC by committee thing, so before I post for him, @WickedCadrach, @Chiyako - do either of you want to weight in?

Even if the intent is to delete the video just to buy time and not to get Robin totally off the hook, Mr. Askars seems to just want more offerings? sacrifices? I think he'd would tell Velvet something like, 'make sure you bring someone home with you tonight' in exchange for this favor. If you have an idea in mind for it to specifically be Charlotte, then I say go for it.

well, the reason I had velvet going for robin specifically was because she was a religious individual, mr ascars wants to... find something related to that divine I mentioned before to snuff it out, and to a degree robin fits a set of criteria... also I was not intending him to be the blood sacrifice style of character, more of a manipulator and plans within plans style of villain, subtle, moving one piece to open up several paths to a checkmate... now if it was something closer to the lines of the video being switched out for something else that will either spread some chaos or further his goal that would be one thing. or maybe even just swapping it out with something to put me in my place... hell make a home porn vid of velvet and derek pop on screen or something instead

It was lash out. Dylan wants to get hurt. I'm not sure how I got them on this kind of shadow of their darkest self, but that's where we are. I anticipate Dylan taking a couple of harm here, and hopefully giving the DJ something spectacular to show...
