I did answer in my post but essentially she was moving with the encircling crowd, observing, and lamenting over her inability to do anything in the moment. Then she decided to ask a question in the hopes of gaining access to the party, and to help cool things down, partially by offering Derek a chance to make himself look more important.

But as things calm down, where do you go? How do you prepare for the party?

Yessss... get him. I'm playing into my character, but as a player, I'm like 'someone fucking destroy Derek'.

Also, if Velvet is leaving with Derek and his crew, Robin lets her go, but if she lingers, Robin is going to try to ask Velvet for advice on how to get ready for the party. Velvet is, like, the one cool girl that Robin knows even a little bit in this town, and it's extremely apparent how nervous Robin is about what to do, what to wear, if she needs to bring anything (seriously sheltered vibes).

I think unless someone else tries to get Selene to go somewhere, she might retreat home. Her preparing for the party in that case would entail her trying on different bikinis, figuring out which one looks the nicest, and wearing it beneath her sundress.

Getting into the party is still something that worries her, so she might try to somehow acquire something that would help her get in. Like booze, whether that be seeing if her parents have any or, riskier still, venturing out to try and convince someone to sell her some.

Robin could totally text Velvet for help getting ready for the party. Which could be a fun little scene. How would they get Robin ready for the party?

So, @WritesNaughtyStories has reminded me that I too need to be responsible today. Once he gets a chance to get Dylan's reaction and any last actions into the scene, I'm down to have Robin text Velvet for help. Robin would probably default to inviting Velvet to her apartment unless Velvet gave her a compelling reason to go elsewhere (like Velvet's home or the strip mall or something?)

I think if Selene couldn't find alcohol to bring from her own home, she might try to either see if there might be someone she could convince at the local liquor store, or if she knows of some other person willing to buy for people not yet old enough to purchase it.

Failing that, she might try to investigate around to see if she could find Charlotte, perhaps with a stop first at Robin's to try and acquire something to use for a ritual. Not only would it help Robin if she is successful, but it might even get her an in with one of the two to see about getting her into the party!

Also how very unfortunate for Derek.

And even more unfortunate for Selene that he'd rather do that than pay attention to her.
