Ari stands behind the check-in desk immaculately carved out of a rare redwood. A small bell sits on the desk along with large leather bound book and a bright lamp illuminating the desk. Ari’s nipples can be seen poking through her bodysuit as if she simply always aroused with a friendly smile on her pretty face. She nods to YC as they walk up to her before grabbing the large book and opening the cover

”Hello friend! Welcome to Hotel California! How may I help you?” Ari politely asks as she openly examines you head to toe. The two white and glowing blue tipped fox ears on her head twitch with curiosity. Glowing blue wisps float around Ari as her fox tails wag back and forth happily. The room is well illuminated by warmly glowing lights on the ceiling and walls as well as light post spread evenly throughout. The room is well furnished with a comfortable sitting area equipped with a small coffee table surrounded by dark blue leather bound couches and chairs. Ari smells faint of cherry blossoms and the pure essence of arousal, a smell that often gets most people excited whether they expect it or not.

A tall man steps into the lobby, removing a Bowler hat as he crosses the threshold. He's wearing a tailored double-breasted tailcoat, a vest with a pocket watch on a chain, trousers, and Oxblood shoes. After blinking to allow his eyes to adjust from the bright sunlight to the indoor dimness, he notices Ari at the desk and blinks several more times in surprise. Smiling, he strides over. "Good Day," he greets her. "My name is Jason Ayers, and I'm wondering if you had a small suite of rooms for long-term let, say five years or so? Hopefully that I could add a bit of decor to bring it a bit closer to my own tastes?" Suddenly, his eyes close and nostrils flare as he tastes the scents in the air. "My, you are ... quite the unusual and fetching lady," he murmurs absently.

Now why are you here little worm? Flightless moth? She pondered as her eyes were drawn to the warm lights upon the ceiling. She gently pressed her hands on the seat under her. How many minutes? Hours? Eternities? Did time every have a meaning for her to reflect on? There were others but still she could not help but think first on the nature of things. Her lips, lightly touched with pink pursed every so slightly and then released before air passed through. This was not Diyu, but it was a form of Diyu was it not? A goddess, even a silkworm goddess, was not some fool. She knew that her life had been cut short. She let out a small chuckle...where had she been? Blinking the remnants of light from her eyes she looked down upon herself. Her personally woven silk clothing was untouched, the gaps in the ultrafine fabric giving way to revealing undergarments almost painted upon her skin.  Small bits of rare, ancient jewelry resting upon her as well. Ah she was here as she was last? That felt assuring in some way. She had thought to perhaps be punished in the Mirror of Retribution for all she had done and yet....this place was pleasant?

She slowly stood again and stretched upward revealing her tall form, a pale pillar of flesh and whatever else a goddess might be made of at least in mortal eyes. Blood was involved. She knew that much. She looked to the counter where a gentleman had began to speak to a fine lady with tails like clouds. Those golden eyes trailed the desk, and with eyes of gem she surmised that it was made of carved our of rare redwood. She, like whoever carved this desk, had eyes for finery! The whole place looked of quality as she was used to. This whole place did not scream hell but looks could be deceiving...she knew that much. She had thought to let the gentleman continue his conversation first but she felt compelled forward and so she would move forward, heels clicking along the floor as she approached and loomed over the two figures. She would lean forward over the desk gently, an arm pressing the fine fabric to her chest as she did so.
Her well-tended snow white brain hanging over her shoulder. She looked over the two in a quick moment. The first was the gentleman. Aged. Aged well. A handsome figure. Shorter than herself, but she could tell he had taken care of himself. American? British? Ah it had always been somewhat difficult for her to tell in those days. His style was more refined...befitting the observation she had made before about being a gentleman at least in dress. Refinement. She wondered briefly what he did.

And then to the young woman, or was she young? Meixiang was not quite young but not quite as old as her mother which was either a tragedy or a triumph. A kitsune. She knew many a kitsune in her time and she had...mixed meetings with such things. Her golden eyes trailed downward. An outfit not too dissimilar from her own, but the material was smoother and even closer to flesh. Her pallet of white and blue was fetching to say the least, but not more so than the cuteness that defined her. Curved the further down you went. It was difficult to place this one's time but those eyes? Gorgeous and captivating, but they clearly knew. It was easy to understand that she was not as young as Mother may have guessed on a glance. She had an alluring smell, cherry blossoms and want. She pondered for a moment longer if it was the young fox who wanted, or was it meant to make you want? Mother did always want.

A gentle smile hung on Mother's face as she spoke "I do hope you don't mind if I make a request at the same time as yours good sir." a motherly voice, a subtly seductive tone painting every word as she tilted her head to them. She looked to Ari who she supposed tended the place. Expertly painted nails gently clicked on the wood "Little beauty, I will venture to ask for the finest room you think befits me. I would assume, for a place like this, you have some idea?" her accent was heavy but she did speak English fluently. She kept her words somewhat vague. She was making the request but she had a guess that much like her presence...such a thing was not entirely left up to chance? She was a mere worm, but a goddess too. Is this where the divine went where they died? She smiled "Meixiang. Mother. Mother Meixiang if you will." even in death she would refuse to use the name given to her in birth. She just kept her eyes upon the two.

A hushed creak of wood preceded the gentle metallic chime of a bell. Without even realizing it a small creature entered into a world of luxury far beyond anything she'd remembered experiencing before. Tired red eyes darted about, blinking away the shift in lighting, adjusting quickly to her new surroundings. What this place was exactly was foreign to her, but something in the back of her mind had informed her that she was here to rest. To enjoy herself, enjoy life. A gift? Or perhaps a curse? Everything was new to her, but perhaps this place would be more kind to her than the last.

Her gaze lowered, scanning over her own form. Pale flesh. Scars which didn't seem to bother her. They felt familiar somehow. Worn leather gloves. A long tunic made of felt and hide, created from some furry creature, which hung to just above her knees. Hide moccasins. A necklace of bones, or teeth, or claws. It felt as though it held some significance, although she couldn't place what that was. She was clean, devoid of blood or newer injuries, and smelled faintly of wildflowers and berries. A familiar, comfortable scent.

Fluffy wolf-like ears perked up from her messy mane of similarly silver hair, nose wrinkling for a moment as other scents were drawn in. Flowery scents hanging off a woman not far from where she stood, one settled behind some sort of short wall. They were nice, but also reminded her of something foreign, or perhaps someone foreign. It was a scent she probably smelled before but, in the moment, could not recall the origin of. However it was what was mixed within that actually worried her. A scent not foreign, but not one she was well experienced with. One which drew blood to her cheeks, a gentle pink fluster held across her face while heat rose within her petite frame. Ears lowered back, however her fluffy tail started to wag softly behind her.

With some hesitation she made her way forward, stepping silently toward those people gathered ahead, only to stop a comfortable distance behind the man and the tall woman. Observing them would clue her into what she was supposed to be doing. Despite the strange knowledge she had of this place Miu was still utterly confused.

He paused for a brief moment, trying to understand her accent and pronunciation. "Not at all, Mother Meixiang. Please pardon me if I mis-pronounced your name; no offense is intended. By all means, proceed; I have nothing but time."

Stepping back, he spies the young Ookami standing there, and raises an eyebrow. "And the young miss, as well."

Ari smiles happily at the sharply dressed man as he walks up to the front desk, her tails beginning to wag faster at the opportunity to talk to somebody. The pages of the old book crinkle as Ari quickly runs her finger down each of the pages until she finds the line that she looking for

”Oh Hello Mr. Ayers. Of course, we have the perfect room for you. Your stay will be long indeed.” Ari replies excitedly before closing the book and walking to a wooden key rack. As she walks her plump yet firm ass jiggles beneath her constantly wagging tails, the blue wisps following her lazily. The key rack appears to be made out of the same wood as the front desk and just as finely crafted, the rack itself is somewhat of enigma for if glanced at or seen out of the corner of an eye it appears to only hold about one hundred keys, however if stared at directly the number keys on hooks never seems to end. Ari, as if unbothered by the enigma of the key rack, grabs a key off a hook and walks calmly back to her original spot.

”Thank you Mr. Ayer’s, here is your room key. You are quite dashing yourself.” Ari replies as a feint rosy blush fills her feminine cheeks. The key looks as if it belongs to a hotel in Britain during the 1940’s, made out of a smooth shiny bronze with the numbers 1067 neatly carved onto the handle. Ari opened her mouth to continue until her eyes were drawn to the very tall beautiful woman walking towards the desk. Out of respect or perhaps our of habit Ari curtsied cutely before greeting her as well.

”Mother I am glad to see you made it right on time! Of course I can help you. I have the perfect room for you as well.” Ari beamed with genuine positivity as she returned to the key rack she had just been. Her ass doing similar display for Mother as well. Like many times before and many times to come Ari reached up to the key rack and removed another key, yet there seemed to be the same amount of keys as there was before. But she had definitely removed one. Ari playfully skipped back to the front desk and held out the new key in the palm of her hand to mother. This key was much different to the other and instead of bronze seemed to be made out of a solid piece of jade with a red ribbon tied to it, this key bore the number 369. Ari nodded at the key in a gesture for Mother to take it.

”Please let me know if you need anything. I love to make all of our guests… as comfortable as they can be.” Ari whispered the end of statement with a not so hidden tone of submissive sexuality before winking at Mother playfully. She then tried to look around the tall woman, only managing to get her eyes and fluffy ears on the other side of mother, and spoke again.

”I can help whoever needs it next!” She spoke excitedly practically hoping up and down in her spot.

CLING! CLING! CLING!

DINK! DINK! DINK!

The sounds of metal on metal fill the otherwise quiet forge room of the blacksmith's shop. Sparks fly, fire burns, swords clang. What may seem like a hellish work environment for most is the greatest place one could be to Alais. Everything about being in her shop made life worth living. Seeing the happy faces of a knight or guard as their once broken sword comes back sparkling and sharper than before will never not be warming. Haah... Even the small things could make her day better. One time, she fixed a knight's boot after a dog used it as a chew toy for a few hours. She could barely contain her laughter the entire 10 minutes that it took to reshape the metal! Good times, good times...

But...Where did it all go so wrong?

She had been doing a particularly difficult job, somebody wanted a sword that could "Kill even the mightiest of beasts" and "pierce the heart of any leviathan", but no sword could be made without the proper materials. Luckily, the client had the scales and bones of a dragon for the handle and the heart of a golem for the blade, that would make a damn fine sword... But those materials required extreme heat to fully smelt down for use, a heat that Alais' forge could only manage by being pushed to its limits! She should've never taken that job....

Now, where is she? All she could remember was a sudden flash of heat and a loud noise of some sort, it felt like her skin was being cooked! When she felt her arm, however, she was perfectly fine! Better than before even! It felt like she had gotten the best night of rest ever! She hasn't slept this well in forever! Now, Alais stood in some room, filled with an odd assortment of people. A sweet smell wafted over her entire body and managed to make her feel that same heat again. Was she about to experience it again?!

Luckily, nope! The pain or heat didn't come and all that happened was a twang in her loins. Her chest felt a bit off as well, thankfully she put on a tunic under her apron this time. A pair of linen trousers covered her legs and lower half, hiding anything that she oh so desperately didn't want anybody else seeing...

"The hell... Where am I?" She muttered to herself, slowly walking up to the group of people and trying not to make herself known. What if these people weren't as welcoming as they all seemed? She'd rather not find out... She'd much rather just take in as much of this sweet smell as possible...

So many of these people looked...odd. Their clothes didn't match her own and one man looked like a noble from the elite region of her city.

Mother. Meishing?

It felt like a name. Not her name. She knew her own name was Miu. It belonged to the tall woman stood before her. The man who spoke the name took notice of her, immediately setting the wolf girl's body into a tensed state. Ears rose and tail went still, the fur puffing up slightly. It took her a few moments to realize that he wasn't a threat. At least, he wasn't threatening in the moment. Also he appeared to be addressing her.

With a timid nod of her head the wolf girl's body relaxed, tail loosing just a hint of its fluffiness as it returned to slow, gentle wags. This person was to be acknowledge. It was the polite thing, and the safe thing. He would know that she knew of his presence, and that she knew he wasn't being aggressive. There was no need for her to pick fights, or at least she hoped not. This didn't feel like the wild. In any case the one who gave off the enthralling scent started to move, retrieving an item first for the man who addressed her, and then one for the very tall lady.

Mister. Ayors?

This was the name of the man. The woman was again addressed as mother, despite not appearing to be the mother of the one behind the wall, nor the mother of the man. They didn't smell alike, and they certainly didn't look it. However she couldn't really dwell too long upon this. It was clear that she was being called up to the front. Or, rather, assistance was being offered. In this moment Miu could use assistance!

Before she started to move another voice behind her drew her attention, ears raising and gaze snapping back towards the newly arrived person. A creature which resembled in part something she might hunt. This one spoke, however. Nor did they flee from her in panic, as their kind should have. Instead they were approaching, and so wary of this confident prey creature Miu took a few steps away and over to the short wall. A brief glance was cast towards the multi-tailed woman stood behind it, however it soon returned to the new arrival. She didn't fully trust something that didn't run when it should have run.

Ayers takes his key and nods to the young ... woman? behind the desk. "Thank you, miss. If you don't mind, I'll come back down when you're less busy and arrange payment for my stay. The louts from the moving company refused to bring my baggage onto the property, so I'll excuse myself to fetch them to my rooms now before it rains or some scoundrel steals it." Looking at the others (including our newly-arrived satyr), he says, "If you will all excuse me now. I do look forward to making acquaintances when time permits," and withdraws.

Alais looked around at the group of people, trying to take in every detail of each of their faces. The lady behind the desk looked cute and the smell from before only got stronger as Alais stepped closer to her. She really needed to cut this smell off from entering her nose or everybody, including herself will be having a bad time... It was only a few times that this odd feeling happened and most were in her teenage years.

The beautiful and mother-like woman was actually being called mother.... Did she give birth to everybody in here or something? Surely not! After all, Alais knew her mother and knew her well! Oh...Oooh...Oh no. Her mother was probably crying her eyes out by now! She had no idea where her daughter went, she must be worried sick! To be fair though, Alais had no say in arriving wherever they are.

"O-Oh...Bye...Sir..." She said hesitantly, holding her somewhat calloused hand up and waving slightly. He seemed...nice enough. Could potentially be a good person to have a conversation with...

Alais only just realized that a rather small girl was staring at her quite intensely. Was she...sizing her up? She knew that look, it was one some cocky people gave when they found out she ran her shop alone.... Her ears stood up slightly as Alais gave the short girl a small wave.

A soft, gentle chuckle that spoke to a tiredness or an understanding "Ah yes, don't we all?" she smiled to Ayers gently as she turned to the little wolf behind them. Small. Cute. Scars? Messy hair. She smiled to her but she seemed more on edge and unsure than Ayers or herself. A soft exhale would leave the tall woman's lips and she would turn back to Ari who set about her duty with a clear goal and in doing so gave them a show. Ah, a seductress then? Mother quite liked that. Mother observed and she did notice the track of keys but she barely reacted. Perhaps it was her nature as a divine thing herself but she understood. This place this....Hotel California was it? It wasn't any place on Earth that she knew, but the realms beyond well? Those were enigmas even of themselves. It was said, though she had not been there yet, that Diyu was an endless maze with even more endless corridors. A punishment if ever there was one. If this was such a place then of course any who wandered through those doors would be expected. People died, and they did die a lot. The silkworm had seen millions fall in simple wars. She had woven tapestries in their honor once. She had created the garments for endless bones. Ah.....

He was granted his key and it looked like her hunch was correct as it bore a style different from other keys. She smiled "Well of course Little Beauty." she said as if she were unbothered by knowing that she had been expected. When one died it was always the right time. It was cruel, but there was never a wrong time meet ones end. She waited for her own key and the fox would produce a key of beauty. A thing of finery that may lay in a chest of its own. Golden eyes lit up and she reached out...but moved just past the key and gently placed two fingers on the fox's wrist as she made mention of her desire to serve in tones the silkworm could understand. She gently walked them up and to the key "I expect my room will be quite comfortable on its own..." she reached forward, perhaps a bit presumptuous as she dragged her fingers over Ari's skin and to her chin. She leaned in close over the desk just a bit getting as close as Ari would allow, or play along with.

"I do believe you'll make it even more comfortable for this lonely silkworm..." she whispered before she moved gracefully backwards and took the beautiful key, holding it along in her slender fingers as the younger women approached finally but no words? Mother studied her more....nervous? She waited until DING oh this was a busy place wasn't it? She looked over to the confused individual. Tough looking thing. More foreign to the Chinese creature than she cared to admit but here? She was bound to meet all sorts! She looked to the young woman and leaned down a little "I do not know if you speak Wild One." she said extending out a hand gently "But I do hope that we can be great friends." a genuine smile. Oddly so.

She looked to Ayers as he spoke more. Pay. She chuckled again "I believe the bill has been paid...for all of us." she said under her breath but whether he understood that? She did not know. Death was more of a shock for mortals. He was mortal wasn't he? She did not know but that was her belief. She knew what she was doing last. She took a deep breath and returned upright and moved out of the way for the other two who seemed to be exchanging glances. She smiled gently at the scene. Her body language was relaxed. She waved her fingers at Ayers as he left "Zàijiàn Mister Ayers." she said.

She turned to Ari "Ah before I make my leave I must ask....if there are things we desire such as small sentimental items will they be found in our rooms or do I need to ask you? I am afraid I have misplaced my treasured pipe and while you smell divine I would like those homely scents."

Companiony?

While she appeared to understand the words of those around her Miu still couldn't quite place some of the meanings. It sounded like companion in her language. The man was with others. He intended upon seeing to them. Departing to them. She winced as an image cross her mind. A face. More faces. Happy. Distressed. Sad. Angry. Confused. Pained. They felt familiar, and yet she could not remember the details, could not place who they were to her. All she really knew was that they mostly brought her a sense of happiness, immediately followed by grief.

What is this place?

Ears lowered back. She was trying not to show fear but it was creeping up into her mind. None of this was right, was it? Before she was here what had she been doing? Something was blocking that memory. It hurt slightly to think about it. She was distracted from this task when the prey creature rose a hand. They were focused upon her now, and in response Miu's body tensed again, tail raising and fur bristling outwards. This however was where any signs of aggression stopped. Besides her own struggle to retain any confidence in her situation, Miu also couldn't detect any hints of aggression from the short horned creature. She had no intentions of starting a fight, and so with a meek nod she backed herself further until, at last, she was pressed with her back against the short wall.

It's not right. I don't belong here.

With heart hammering within her chest and focus set upon those who had arrived after her Miu didn't manage to track the conversations occuring just beside and behind her. However the Mother person's words, directed towards her from so close, did manage to catch her attention. Red orbs darted quickly to meet the woman's gaze. A hand lifted, and Miu found herself unconsciously leaning away from it, ears folding back against the top of her head. For a moment her tail went still and her body tensed, however both relaxed when she realized that the woman was not attempting to strike her. If anything she exuded a welcoming aura.

Speak. Speak? Can I speak?

Lips parted, revealing sharpened teeth and pronounced canines. A breath emerged, and then another, albeit harsher. She had felt it when she arrived. Speaking was not something that she did before, nor did it appear to be something that she did now. It felt familiar. Her mouth closed and head shook. At least the gestures felt comfortable. Were they universal? Or was this place messing with her? Feeding her knowledge that wasn't hers'.

Hmm? That's odd, it is almost like the "Mother" lady and that well-dressed man know each other quite well. Maybe. If so, then why didn't Alais know anybody in here? Everybody looked so different from one another. Even the elite of her city looked just as rugged as the poor --- mainly because of everybody constantly working in forges --- and the mayor was about the only person to wear fancy clothes.... It made Alais feel extremely out of place. Like, she is quite literally wearing a smithing apron in the middle of such a fancy place.... That's another thing! How was she not covered in dust or slag? Even scorch marks on her apron seemed to disappear, it was like everything returned to new!

Alais was nearly having an existential crisis over here... How did everybody look so calm?! Well- One didn't seem to be too calm, the short girl looks like she was having a stroke at the moment. Why was she just opening her mouth and breathing so hard...? Alais gave the girl a quizzical stare before walking up closer to the two women. Yep, just as she thought, that sweet smell was definitely coming from the fox-eared lady behind the counter.

O-oh god...she needed to get whatever this sorting thing is over with and fast or else her pants may very well tear... that was NOT something she needed happening, especially no in front of what looked to be a little girl! Were they a little girl...? They could be a boy...She hadn't heard their name yet so they could be a "Daniel" or something... Nah, they didn't look like it.... Shit! In the middle of her little internal monologue she somehow walked right up beside the short girl! Crap!

This has gotta be the worst first impression ever, walking up without saying anything and obviously getting horny.... Could it be any worse...?

"Nng...H-Honest question...M-Miss fox-lady. Could you somehow turn down the pheromones...? I am kinda struggling..." Oddest question she has ever asked right there...

Ari's eyes widened as another customer appeared in the lobby. It had been a long time since the last time so many new residents appeared so consecutively. The fact that the line just kept growing and Ari didn't have enough time to talk to each one was starting to stress her out and it was apparent by her large fox laying back flat against her head. A small frown crept across her mouth before smiling again and returning Mother's attention. The stress quickly faded as Ari felt Mother's hand trail across her soft skin and rest at her chin. If it could Ari's heart would have skipped a beat but it didn't instead her cheeks blushed with a rosy red.

"Yes I your room will definitely be much more comfortable." Ari whispered back to Mother somewhat submissively. Her eyes then quickly shifted from Mother too looking at Mr. Ayers.

"Oh I think you will find that all your baggage is already in your room. As for payment, I am afraid you have already paid." She responded matter of fact. It sometimes took residents quite a while to realize what this place really was and when they did it took other residents even longer to come to terms with their new situation and accept it. All the new arrivals were starting to excite Ari with all the new possibilities of interaction and it showed through her two small nipples poking through her body suit.

"Although I think you'll find everything you need in your room. I don't mind be helpful!" Ari replied to mother happily as one of the blue whisps came floating out of nowhere, Mother's pipe floating in the middle of it. It was exactly as Mother had last seen it, even the last residue from her last smoke. Finally Ari nodded to Mother with seductive smile before turning her attention back to the other residents.

Miu was starting worry Ari. It wasn't uncommon for new arrivals to be confused and disoriented. Although the Hotel was designed to relate to almost every new resident that arrived, a few took longer to find the familiarity that they so desperately searched for. Ari reached out and quickly patted Miu's head before she could realize what was happening and tried to reassure her

"There there Miu. It's all okay! No one here could hurt you... even if they tried." Ari's voice was soft and tender like a big sister comforting her siblings during a storm. She reached below the desk and her hand came back up with a comically large cookie. The kind you would give to human... not a puppy. Although none of the residents would realize it unless they talked amongst themselves but the cookie smelled and looked slightly different to every resident. Ari presented it to Miu as a peace offering, smiling warmly. The key rack was starting to become a popular destination recently and Ari skipped her way back to it to retrieve yet another key. The wisps danced around her as if responding to her energy and mood. She returned just as quickly as she left with another key. The key appeared to be carved out of ivory and wolf's head carved into the handle.

"This is your key Miu. If you are feeling overwhelmed you might find your room more relaxing." Ari softly spoke to Miu.

A giggle crept out of Ari's mouth as the newest arrival walked up and asked her question. Ari shook her head embarrassed as her cheeks flushed yet again. Her big blue eyes looked into Alais'.

"I'm sorry Miss Alais but I can't tone down my smell. It is simply who I am. I'd be happy to help you with any problems I may cause you...." Ari spoke seductively before biting her lip with a sharp canine. Although it often made it hard to have a serious conversation with most people Ari loved the effect that she had on people and what almost always happened after it affected them.

Mother kept her eyes on the young girl as she tried to speak. She recognized the reflexive fear on her face first but Mother made no sudden movements instead keeping an inviting smile on her face. It did seem that the young girl had trouble speaking which begged the question where was she from that such a thing was not familiar to her. The gestures were familiar to her however. Mother retained her look of understanding "I see." she didn't want to pressure the girl more but it was something to keep in mind "No matter. Words aren't the wall that stops people from connecting. I think we'll be great friends Little Wolf. I'll even read your fortune later." holding out her hand for Miu if she wanted to take it in a friendly gesture although Mother would be unlikely to stop herself from placing a little kiss on it just for fun if she did. She was sure these beings, whoever they might all be, would make fascinating conversation but it seemed that so far? Only Mother understood the true nature of their new home at a first glance. It paid, poorly, to be connected with things like this as a matter of nature.

She watched Ari attempt to calm her down too. An adorable endeavor. A fox and a wolf? A function of this hotel and a patron? Truthfully Mother wished to communicate with them both but for Ari there was another feeling. Miu she wondered if she even understood that pull the Fox was giving off. She appeared innocent, but Mother knew that in innocence there was often more. She could imagine more but those were...thoughts for a later time. She was a little surprised to see the cookie. Very truthfully. This place had so many surprises!

She hoped her words or gestures would help calm Miu down as Ari confirmed her requests. A little blue-wisp moving forward with her treasured Pipe which she gently took in her hands, gently trailing the fire along as it faded harmlessly "Ah! Xièxiè Little Beauty you do know how to serve." returning a seductive wink to Ari as she placed the end of it gently between her lips. She didn't quite use this pipe for tobacco as one might expect. The importance of the item to her could not be overstated so she was overjoyed even if, of course, this was all illusion. It was better to pass with good things rather than bad yes? She felt at ease too and the already relaxed divinity appeared even more so.
She did stand by a watch, mostly to make sure Miu was alright but the reactions of this new girl were quite funny. The taller woman kept her chuckle in her throats as she closed her eyes and took a deep breath to take in more of Ari's scent. It was having that effect on her too but perhaps due to her age and nature she was having an easier time controlling herself. Ari wasn't the first like that that she'd ever met and Mother herself had, at times, packed her pipe with an exciting scent to fill a room when she needed to. It was, of course, another thing to excuse it so naturally. Ari was clearly made for this.

Still.....youth was a wonderful thing wasn't it? She pulled the pipe from her lips and observed. She was a strong looking thing. Rougher in her apparel than most of the others. Miu's reaction seemed natural for a more bestial sort, and this one definitely was. A prey sort? Well...not a literal prey it seemed. Blacksmithing? It certainly seemed so from that outfit. Mother couldn't help but study and ponder all these beings. She was always so curious. It reminded her of how she used to travel. Ah....she'd miss that. A frown falling over her for a moment before she shook her head and smacked the pipe into her palm.
"Sounds to me, dear girl, like you've got a proper invitation." she nodded to the new girl to put hr at ease. Her feelings were natural so why struggle against them. She looked to Miu and nodded and then to Ari "I will take my leave then." she said an began to walk away with her own confident and unbothered sway "I do look forward to getting to know all of you." as she waved.

Alais was panting a bit thanks to the effect of the fox-lady's pheromones and how oddly compatible they were with Alais. Nope, she did NOT need to catch a boner at the moment! Focus on something else... ANYTHING ELSE! Focus on the damn floor, focus on the...huh...Wow...This room was actually quite spectacular. Even just the desk that the nice smelling was standing behind looked to be made by skilled woodworkers. Alais knew of a few of them that lived in her city, even had one of them help with engravings on a wooden handle a bit. What was this called again...? A lounge or a lobby? Both sounded right. Meh, she'll just call it a lobby. Is this place supposed to be an inn of sorts? This was a very grand inn...

Hmm? Oh. "Mother" and the fox seemed to be trying to cheer up the short girl. She didn't look too scared.... Well, Alais was always kinda bad at reading people, many had to outright tell her when something was wrong... Aaand now there was suddenly a large cookie... With a sharp sniff, Alais could tell that it was a chocolate chip cookie and seemed to be on the crunchier side. Her favorite! Maybe she should ask for one as well? Nah, that would be rude...

Okay and now there is a little blue thing giving a pipe to "Mother"... Where even is she!? This is NOT normal!

"H-Huh...Oh!" Alais felt her discomfort bleeding away and her pants suddenly felt a bit looser compared to a few seconds ago. Did she actually turn down the smell?... Nope. Alais took a deep sniff and felt her pants get tight once again. Okay, so focusing on anything but the smell is the idea, got it.

"Wha-?! Invitation...?" Alais let out a small yelp of surprise when Mother actually focused on her for a moment, her staring made the discomfort even more prevalent and the way she said such a thing about an invitation...well, that only made Alais' heart and mind race. How long had it been since she actually spent time with somebody like that? Years, probably. The fox biting her lip certainly made her nearly fold...

"I-...Okay... I may take you up on that..." She finally stepped forward as Mother walked away, placing her hands against the desk and leaning in. Focus on the desk, focus on the floor, focus on her tails- Aaand her tits are pressing against her outfit... "C-Can I...get my key?"

Eyes narrowed and gaze set once more upon the horned woman. She was approaching even closer! There was no hesitation. Miu couldn't back up anymore than she was in the moment. Their face appeared to be flushed as well. A similar thing was detected upon them, the same thing detected coming from behind the short wall. It was the sort of thing that made her own body grow warmer and filled her with confusing feelings. Uncomfortable feelings, if only because she didn't fully understand them, but they also didn't feel completely foreign to her. She had experienced it before, although she couldn't place when or where or why.

Her body tensed again as it pressed back against the short wall. Limbs were drawn closer. It was like a spring coiling in preparation for something explosive. So focused was she upon the woman that Miu didn't even notice the hand from behind, at least not until it settled atop her head. Eyes widened and her entire body jumped, pressing her further into the kitsune's palm! It was however one of her weak spots. As the headpats were inflicted upon her Miu's body relaxed and her heart slowed. Fingers nervously fiddled with the sides of her tunic while her focus upon the prey creature faltered, glances cast between her and the one known as 'Mother'.

It will be okay?

With her focus relaxed she finally took notice of the tall woman's extended hand. Something in the back of her mind urged her to take it, and so both of her hands extended up to take hold. Despite appearances the wolf's touch was soft, at least for the flesh that wasn't scarred. She was careful too, gentle in her grip so as to avoid any possibility of hurting the woman, regardless of whether or not she actually could. The one behind the wall, the one who had settled her down with a pat atop her head, informed her that she could not be hurt here. That meant the others probably couldn't be hurt. Being hurt felt familiar, but not the sort that she was comfortable with. Leaving that behind was acceptable.

She knows my name?

When the one known as 'Mother' planted a kiss upon the back of her hand Miu's face gained a healthy flash of pink. She didn't fully understand why. It made her feel warm. Miu decided that she didn't mind it, however something in the back of her mind told her that holding the woman's hand for too long was considered strange, and so she released her grip. Just in time too as the scent of something sweet cut through the heavy fog of flowery pheromones! Her attention was pulled towards the woman behind the short wall, head tilting slightly at the sight of the large circular object. It smelled quite good, although it was not anything she was used to. Even so in the moment she was reminded of her hunger, something which was nearly constant for her.

Food?

She stared at the object for a few moments, making certain that it would be okay for her to take it. It felt natural, felt as though simply taking it might lead to punishment, that it might have happened before. Only when it appeared as though the object wasn't being pulled away did she finally reach out to accept it, drawing it quickly to her lips for a sniff test. It smelled even more delicious up close, but she could not allow that to distort her safety check.

Safe.

With nothing off detected with the cookie Miu drew it closer still, nibbling carefully against the crunchy morsel. Her entire body seemed to relax, tail even returning to gentle wagging motions. It was just as delicious as it smelled! Careful nibbles were soon replaced by small bites and the occasional lap of her tongue in order to catch stray pieces which might have broken off as crumbs. Red orbs darted to the side, aimed towards the horned woman. A faint pink remained lingering across her face as both she and the one behind the wall exuded the strange enticing scents, the ones which heated up her own body. The sudden tightness of the horned one's lower garments drew her gaze down, head tilting while she continued to work through the cookie.

It is safe. They are safe.

Miu's attention was pulled again towards the nice lady who had given her food. Now she was being presented with a new item! It appeared to be made of some sort of bone. Somehow it felt familiar to her. The thing in the back of her mind informed her of what it was, of what purpose it served. It would grant her access to her new home. One hand removed itself from the cookie, reaching out to carefully accept the item, and once she had Miu pulled it in close to herself. With a single understanding nod she turned to look towards the tall woman. She decided to copy the wave of her hand, waving the key holding hand in response! Only once she departed did Miu return her attention to the other two, the remainder of the cookie swiftly polished off.

Home. I should see home.

One hand newly freed Miu raised it up, offered both women a similar wave, and then turned to sniff at the key. A few more sniffs at the air informed her of where to go, and so she began to cautiously make her way out. Each step was silent, and as she neared a corner Miu was careful to peek around it, making herself as small and unnoticeable as possible while doing so. The floor here was completely devoid of debris. That didn't feel familiar to her, but it certainly made it easier for her to step without making noises! When she was comfortable with what lay beyond the corner Miu lowered herself further and crept out!

A young man walks into the lobby, his shirt not buttoned up all way the front left not even tugged into his pants and just hanging out. He is tired but tries to hide it underneath a serious look, although his tired, heavy eyes betray him.
As he walks down to the front desk he looks around. Everything looks somewhat familiar to him but he cant quite grasp why. Wherever he looks, be it the blue leather couches or the sealing lamps everything seems known and yet foreign.

As he reaches the front desk he notices a nice soothing scent, he looks for the source but cant quite make it out. He looks at the kitsune behind the front desk and start eyeing her up, he notices her nipples poking through her body suit and makes a small smirk but catches himself in the moment and as to not be rude quickly looks somewhere else. As he, a bit flustered, tries to find somewhere not too awkward to look at he gets almost transfixed on the seemingly never ending key rack.

What the heck was that? Was that me or is the key rack "weird"?! Ahh whatever... He rubs his eyes and takes a deep breath, as he exhales he starts to feel warmer all of the sudden and he unbuttons his shirt a bit and focuses back on thew kitsune and her blue eyes and fluffy tails.

She is kind of cute. Just as he finished that thought he notices that so far he did nothing but awkwardly looking around. Oh damm it.

"Uhhhm Hello, do...do you have a room for someone who may stay a bit longer?"

He reached for his rolling luggage that he felt he had with him the whole time but his hand just grasped into the air. A bit confused he quickly looks to his side just to confirm what his empty hand had already told him, that there was nothing there. Confused and flustered he looks back into the Ari's eyes as if nothing happened and gives her a small smile.

Lyn strolls into the hotel, looking around at the beautiful foyer and the light fixtures. It felt homey, serene, picturesque. This was somewhere that she wanted to stay a while. She smiles softly and walks up to the front desk, giving a small bow to Ari. "Hello Miss, my name is Lyn and I was hoping to check in to the Hotel." She gave her a warm smile as her little panda ears flickered.

She was wearing a black covering for her vivacious breasts that basically just barely covered her nipples. On top of that she had on a kimono that draped down her body with her stomach exposed and her crotch covered. She had long white hair with a black fade toward the bottom. She smelled of bamboo, eucalyptus leaves, and pheromones.

She found herself in front of the door.  How did she get here.  Her mind was a complete haze before this moment.  Vague memories of another place.  Dark.  She had been trying to get to something.  Or was it away from something.  There were other people there, but it was a blur.  She could not picture anything about them.  How did she end up there?  What was she before?  She did not remember.  The only other thing she remembered was her name.  Nadia.

Had she tripped on something.  She had a vague memory of hitting her head just before this.  She did not know where it was, but it looked much more pleasant.  She took a breath, stepped inside.  She wanted to say she had been in a building like this before, but she was fairly certain she had never been inside this particular place.  There were some figures ahead of her.  But she was cautious, she did not approach, until someone approached or called to her.  Best if it was someone who worked here.  She did not have money though.  That could be a problem, but she would figure out where she was first.  Find out if she had to leave quickly.

Alais stood at the desk and kept looking around, focusing on tiny details that she may have missed before. Huh. The ceiling had odd patterns that looked to be flowers of some sort. She turned to get the short girl's(?) attention but gasped a bit when she didn't see her anywhere. Sneaky...She took off without Alais even noticing! "Woah..." She gave a few nods of praise. Welp, back to focusing on meaningless details to keep her from being too aroused!

Odd, she could've sworn she heard the door- DEAR CHRIST!

Alais nearly jumped out of her skin when she saw the young man standing nearly right beside her. How did he manage to get so close without her realizing!? Calm down, calm down... Okay! No need to get so scared, everything is fine... She gave the young man a friendly nod and stood up straight.

Just when she was about to give her greetings, another woman showed up! A very...beautiful woman... The clothing she had on barely covered anything and left nothing to the imagination... Hm? A panda woman? She could've sworn those were extinct where she came from... She must be from a whole different continent then! Even the man seemed to be... Not many humans stayed around her city.

"Hi-" She was stopped again by the sudden arrival of another person! This woman seemed to be human as well, though she was a lot more nervous than the man beside Alais. She waited and waited for the woman to approach but she never came.

Alais gave her another minute before waving her over. "Come on over. Nobody is going to bite.... Though the fox-lady might do something else..." She caught herself, making sure to specify. "She is very flirty..."

Celeste notices someone right beside him and looks over to them. He looks at the Satyr, she nods at him and he politely nods back. "I was so focused on the lobby and how I got here that I completely ignored my surroundings. Should I greet her? Yes! Yes I should, better be awkward than impolite." He thought about how he could greet her but then she talked to someone else. First a panda women but then another human, a woman that was standing at the lobby entrance. She looked a bit intimidated, the Satyr waved her over and talked to her. She said that the fox girl behind the counter was "flirty" that was his chance to introduce himself.

So he said to the girl at the entrance: "She also smells incredibly well".  After that he turned to the Satyr and introduced himself to her "Hello I am sorry I didn't introduce myself, my name is Celeste. It's nice to meet you."

He then began to eye up the Satyr. "Her clothes are quite simplistic but it still looks quite good on her" his eyes soon wandered across her crotch. His eyes widened for a moment as he noticed the 'package' she was carrying with her. He quickly got a hold of himself again and smiled at her like it was nothing.

Soft slightly sloppy sounds seem to approach the lobby slowly before a bright red slime girl half stumbles into the lobby, each step leaving behind a faint puddle that quickly recollects itself before rushing back into the tired looking "girls" leg, fusing back into her body just for the next step to leave behind another little puddle as the cycle repeats.

The gooey girl was wearing a white T shirt along with a pair of shorts, which wouldn't be worth mentioning if not for the fact that both where spotless despite their owner looking like one large spill of red wine herself, she stumbled in holding a large pillow she was clutching looking tired and annoyed as her words wined out in high pitched tone, sounding faintly muffled by water "miss ari... I forgot my room again... where should I go to sleep?" It took her a few long moments to notice there was a BIG influx of newbies in the loby with her, a happy smile spreading on the red of her lips... and the red of her face... and the red... of her teeth... all of her red looked happy to see the people "heeey there! Welcome to hotel California, its a lovely place once you get to know it!"

Nadia silently observed the figures in front of her.  A variety of shapes, only one of them appeared to be human.  But she felt no strong reaction to that.  Had she seen such beings before?  Possibly nothing exactly like these figures, but her old self must have some familiarity with such beings.  Though maybe not anything like the slimy figure, there was a little more surprise there.

A few were behind a desk, several others appeared to be like her, waiting on something.  ‘Hotel California’, the slimy girl called it.  Hotel, yes her mind was still there enough she understood what that meant.  A potential place to stay.  But the lack of money was an issue.  The man introduced himself to her.  The only other human, but was she slightly more uncomfortable around him than the others?  Was it because he was a man?  She could not believe it was because he was a human.  Something from her past she had forgotten?  Or something deeper?  But she could not leave any bad impressions, not when she was so lost and unsure where else she could go.  How close was she to home?  Did she have anyone who was looking for her?  “I’m Nadia.”  She introduced herself, softly, but then one of the figures behind the figures called her over.  More important to figure out what she could do here, if she had to move on.

She stepped forward, glancing at the foxy woman the slimy girl and panda girl were speaking to, flirty the other called her.  Well that was something to worry about later.  She approached the satyr who called her over.  She would not fully admit her situation just yet.  “Ah, sorry, I’m a little lost and disoriented, actually not sure quite how I found myself here.  I should probably let you help the others.  While I don’t know where I might go next, I seem to have lost all my money.”  Just get it out there right away, don’t waste anyone’s time.  Maybe she could try to figure out where she was and where to go next, but staying did not seem an option.
