    Since my preferred subreddits and other forms of discussion are dead I figured I might start a thread here for anyone that plays my preferred genre of virtual violence, fighting games. Doesn’t matter what you play whether it’s street fighter, tekken, gear, some obscure doujin fighter that had 2 arcade machines in south east Asia or just some simulated sport fighting. Drop in tell us about your game maybe find a match or help newbies to get into it. As per usual I didn’t think this through but it can’t hurt right.

    I have bizarre mixed feelings about this game. It's free to play with a season pass, you unlock wonder woman for free and there are four rotating characters that are playable for free at any given time (right now being Superman, Garnet, some dog I'm not familiar with and Finn), but everything else has a very steep cost for what you get. 20 bucks for a BTAS skin? It's in my heart, but not my wallet lmao. It's a pretty money hungry freemium game. This is an odd thing though. Growing up I was a big time Warner Bros kid. I love a good challenge, and sometimes I love playing video games that are painstakingly difficult and tormenting to try and get through without failure. Even after Cyberpunk 2077 released to such a disaster last year, we're dealing with an incomplete and poorly handled GTA: Definitive Edition ("Aaah shit! Here we go again!"). Despite the promising marketing of Battlefield 2042, the actual game makes too many deviations from the core design to frustrate long-term fans while simultaneously having enough technical and design issues that it could really use a delay.
