Being vague might not get you anywhere, because we might not be able to understand what you're trying to say sometimes.

So I had this idea... When the RP opened up originally in 2007 we needed to base the RP off of some laws that already existed to save time on writing the rules. The leader of the RP section at the time had this somewhat narrowminded idea that really at the time would have solved the immediate problem but was never conceived in the larger scale. I think at the time I was admittedly that Roleplay Adminstrator. Of course back then it was just Thorndown Highschool which was very limiting. Now we have a fully open island based RPs (and Andromeda which is a open space RP and in my opinion virtually limitless if you can use your imagination.) It was admittedly a narrow…

So I was wondering if there is anything in the works, or if it was feasible, or if people would even enjoy something akin to a more active, direct chat option? When you click on Ecchichat tab under EcchiApps it brings you to what is essentially found in the lower-right hand side of the screen. Then you can chat quickly and directly to people, but it is only one at a time. What if you could chat to everyone available at once? And maybe it'd have the conversation logged up to a certain amount of time back? I dunno, I think it'd just make it easier for people to discuss stuff and to throw out suggestions for clubs and such. For: @Wolfie and @Neptune Talk Openly. Develop Openly. I feel your community could really stand to gain on having a much quicker and easier to read Code of Conduct as opposed to your very long Terms of Service which is extremely problematic. It's far too long and your definition of harassment is woefully inaccurate and marginalizes what harassment actually means. I hope everyone is doing well today! I was going to try to change my signature into a cursive font, but sadly I don't see any options for that with the current font options. I was wondering if it would be possible to add more fonts, especially those that are similar to cursive? Of course, this is not required by any means, nor is it urgent. I was just curious and decided to ask. I understand that there are much more pressing matters, so I will be patient with this request. Look, I get it, you don't want people deleting stuff willy-nilly. If they could, I'm sure people would purge entire conversations. Might I suggest going the route that Messenger did, and only allowing people to delete a message within maybe a day or so after it was sent? I forever live through the pain of people sending a new message in a private roleplay instead of just editing the old one. It shuffles the entire dynamic and makes me confused on who actually started the conversation without manually jumping all the way back to page one. Pls fix, thx.

is there any possibility of an AMA topic like maybe for a month where we can ask the staff members anything? there's a lot of new people here who maybe don't know how this site works, and maybe it's an opportunity for staff to make AMA topics where people can ask them anything, personal or site related so we can kind of get to know the community leaders better and perhaps start discussions with each other...... I know it might be a dumb idea but its worth putting it out there, even it's a like a time limited thing. I suppose it would largely depend on what other members think about this idea.......

When you take <3 and turn it into ❤️, or take :) and turn it into 🙂... do you realize what you've just done? There's a reason people prefer old-fashion emoticons over pictograms sometimes, you know... New people generally finds the place to post their preferences but it can take em a week or more to link it to their profile and it’s definitely not intuitive. it would be great if this was automated! I dunno what options you have with the softwares, but one way might be to remove the new button from the preferences forum and only haves it on the profile screen. Then it can auto-attach and you can prevents posting multiple preferences.

So, I just had this thought of suggesting something not too major, but similar to the Dreamer of the Month widget, where whenever it is a Dreamer's birthday, it could be announced in a widget, or maybe underneath the "Currently Dreaming" area on the front page. A little bit surprised that this isn't a feature, actually... maybe it was in past versions of EcchiDreams, at some point? Anyhoo, I just thought I might suggest it, granted I've seen many forums that utilize this feature, and maybe it could be a little fun edition to the community. ^w^

The Private Roleplayer Bulletin Board is really nice for finding people...Unfortunately, of late, people have been making a new thread for each individual idea they have...And are having rather a lot of ideas. Hi! I seem to be unable to unlock a topic in my club. I am sure I tested it earlier and it worked, but maybe it's on a timer or something? (The option has just entirely disappeared, and I can only pin/unpin now.) Anyway, since I can't edit it when it's locked, that's a problem because it's a rules document and I want to update it, now and likely several times in the future. If locking means I lose access to the topic, then I'll avoid it in the future. But in that case it would be nice if an admin could unlock it for me. Thanks!

Now, I understand this might not be "needed" or ever suggested by anyone before but there is a first time for everything. To best explain what I will go on about, see my album of characters. The point: I think we should have a setting when we create albums (Or edit them) to mark a character as available or not and maybe a between option for "waiting for confirmation", "in standby" or the likes. When a roleplayer would check the characters (albums) of a potential partner, they would therefore know if a character is available to be requested or not in a roleplay. I do believe it would make things slightly better and it would be a fun and useful settings to have around…

Has anyone on the dev team ever thought about adding features to clubs to make it so certain parts are restricted by like role (owner/administrator/moderator) or participation? For example you cannot post in the main thread until you add a character ID/picture.

Hello and thanks for having this forum to allow our, sometimes, good suggestions and questions. As you probably know, I run several clubs myself and most often they are quite comprehensive in scope and thus needs to be flexible to accomodate how I choose to set things up so my members are able to find what they need easy and quickly. However, even owners of the clubs are not able to move topics around, delete topics and do the more large scale functions. Thus we need to ask staff members to do these tasks for us. I would like to see club owners having more freedom in how they arrange and set up things.

As I am currently running multiple clubs with open world settings, I have had the need sometimes to address everyone who is a member of the club at once, for large announcements and other things. I would like to hear if it's possible to have a tag that could target all members within a club at once.

not really a concern at the moment but like if theres a club and the owners account is suddenly deactivated or banned, what happens to the club? like is it like a free for all, does it get deleted, can someone else claim ownership of it. like whats the protocal... or does it just slowly get forgotten like am abandon ship in a ship-graveyard...

You know how lotteries and stuff usually have some kind of small "entry fee" that you need to pay to be able to participate in them? Could that same thing be applied to "contest clubs" like IsabellaRose's Tell Me a Story, where participants pool some some amount of their credits together so they gain interest over time, which can be then used to give out rewards? I mean, I know you could assign one member (most likely the Owner of the club) to be the banker, but in case they leave or delete their account, all the money stays with them, with nobody able to access it.
