The rented house is in the expensive higher elevation area in the north of Sandpoint where the well to do live (btw the huge well appointed house is 500 gp a month, so if you will drain your account by that much please Isabella 😃 )

A dirty, disheveled homeless man wanders into the wealthy area and starts knocking on doors asking for alms.

He is mostly bald with a long, dirty white and yellow beard. His skin is like worn leather from a life time of living out doors. His face is crinkled and sallow and his nose a bulbous bright red from a lifetime of too much drink. He wears grey dirty rags and smells atrocious.

Surprisingly most of the houses open their doors to him and give him a few silvers. Despite their generosity though the poor man continues on and knocks on your door. He isn't greedy, he is just getting all he can to support himself before the guards escort him out the more wealthy are.

"Please may I have some alms?" He begs at your door and knocks on it again to see if anyone at all will answer.

So someone is knocking on the house we are renting? Since we are all on the bath, (except for Nephthys) are we even aware of this event?

You hear a knock on the door faintly, but it is certainly at an annoying time. Just ooc this isn't a character test by the GM or anything and there are no rewards or punishments for how you respond. This is just an in world event you can interact with that adds flavor to the world. I actually do this a lot to make the world feel more realistic and interactive.

It feels a lot like a test...

I'm more of a simulation GM, definitely not a killer GM. I actually feel I should do a  much better job of bringing this world to life just having a bit of a hard time right now.

I think you have done well on lore and you have allow us to enrich the world with our own stories, my character's background is just one of many examples of that idea. I think you are being too hard on yourself specially if you are feeling unwell.

Hey everyone, sorry for the delay. I'll get a solid reply up for Kazumi and Shandana, as well as the guards outside the front door reacting to the beggar. They're under orders to give 2 GP to anyone who asks for alms. Other girls in Kazumi's retinue are as friendly as Shandana, if anyone is interested in playing with them.

As tempting as your retinue is, Darius is besotted by a different Lady.
