Macross especially. Do You Remember Love is beautiful. The space combat is still some of the best (and more realistic) I can remember.

Gundam, especially Z, ZZ, 08th, 0080 I like. Origin I love.

Martian Successor Nadesico was another good one back in the day.

Go Lion/Voltron takes me waaaaay back.

Also Gunbuster.

I know Gunbuster myself. Super Robot Wars being mentioned above is pretty good but my favorite is Zone of the Enders. I loved the GBA game. Cute characters.

Been playing them for years.  Long before they started translating them.  Could not read the stories, but had pretty much memorized all the menus and such.  Some point should see if I can still navigate those as easily as I could back then.

first video game I ever bought for myself was Armored Core 2. Once I discovered Gundam on Toonami, it was all downhill from there. Haha

Same. I think I started with Taisen. I can read (ie. sound out) katakana, not that that helped too much, but was able to figure all the menus in pretty short order.

Super Robot Wars was put Aura Battler Dunbine on my radar. That was an interesting watch.

I remember playing the Slayers video games, a similar way, back in the day, but at least all the spells were pretty much in katakana there.

I absolutely love mecha. Not sure how I feel about gundam breaker four, but I've been excited for the other mecha games coming out.

There's only three I've seen that I can think of. Macross Frontier, Gurren Lagann, and Kiddy Grade. 

It's not usually a genre I'm drawn to, although Gurren and Kiddy Grade were great. Macross was okay.

oh man i love gundam. mecha anime is awesome. though i have not been keeping up oon watching mecha anime lol, been doing isekais lately lol

I’m a HUGE fan of mecha! I have several gunplas, I’ve played through Armoured Core 5 and 6 multiple times, and I will watch pretty much anything that has big ass robots in it.
