so I joined and read a little of the lore, my initial plan is rather than play a hero or a villian I was wanting to play a civilian, specifically a reporter or otherwise some degree of a damsel in distress... now thats all fine and good but im not entirely sure how this lines up

Perfectly possible! I made sure to set the Character skeletons up to also allow for Civilian characters you just have to delete a few things is all.
The changes I made recently were actually to make the modern day portion of the rp more apparent since I imagine (could be wrong) thats where most people would want to be.

Any particular thing you're worried about in regards to that?

Real life just has me busy most of the time, and I have one public RP commitment already that I can hardly get to.

I've done some re-writing and thrown up a little event as a starter.
Description of some past events are missing but I'm re-writing those to actually be a little less clear and era defining.

I'm trying to make things a little easier, give a little more direction, and ensure that there is less that feels like required reading. Here's hoping the new division of info feels more like enhancement than a potential wall.

Good question lol Difficult to answer.
I've observed with your villains more so a Valor might be cool or if you wanna stick with the villains side but me more chill than an anti-villain might be cool.

I'm fairly fine playing the villains people need until we got some sort of momentum so its whatever works with your schedule for sure.

Like I said evil lean but more chill? Ant-villain is a good way to go but I am curious what sorta hero you'd make. Tis' just my thought tho.

Could work for sure. Alignments in flux depending on situation. It does keep options very open.

My ideas are, either a "young" male dragon (100s of years old), for a valor. 

Or for a or villainous type, a guy who was experimented on via genetically altered/engineered, and remade with a new super powered cybernetic/android body, that would be either female or futa. And feeling rather conflicted over "his" new body.

Take your pick.
