So I'm doing this on another site, and I figured while I slowly make progress on writing Red Moon Nightmare chapters because writer's block is like an iron wall sometimes, I spread the despair I'm probably going to experience when I hit lategame. Until I've caught up with my backlog of episodes (since I update on Fridays), I guess I'll put up each episode at some random time so it doesn't seem like I'm taking over the Creative Corner like some kind of tyrant. Anyway, without further delay, let's get into it. The time has come at long last. Time for me to exact my revenge on the Alola region. You see, it's sort of a funny story. Once upon a time, I did a P…

Yes, every episode title is going to have Ultra somewhere in it. So, like with Episode 0, this was written several weeks earlier, so by this time, I'm already about halfway through the main story. As with the first and pretty much every episode, I originally posted this on a site where I believe not many people have too much general knowledge on Pokemon, so please excuse me if my long winded explaining gets a little grating on the eyes. Without further delay, let us begin. You know, to be honest, I'm sort of worried. I remember some details of how my casual playthrough went, and since we're doing a nuzlocke, I can't abuse revives on the more annoying lateg…

Welcome back to the backlog of Ultra Moon Nuzlocke episodes, where I rave on about random things while trying not to lose a nuzlocke. Please have fun and enjoy my despair. I'm trying to get on track with these until I'm caught up to where I actually am. So before we get into this, let me just say that Pokemon Crystal is available on 3DS eShop for only 10 bucks. If you got a 10 dollar eShop card laying around, treat yourself to the best region ever. No, I am not being paid by Nintendo to say this. If only I was. Welp, with that aside, let's get on to potential destruction by Pokemon games. Trainer's School is a very uneventful area, to be hones…

I'm gonna say one thing before we slide on into Route 3. Don't be dumb like me and do your grinding right away when you're done with the trial. Trust me, we're heading to an area where there are encounters that give you much better experience than mindlessly fighting Zubats and Gastly to get your own Zubat and near useless Gastly to Lv. 16. Earlygame grinding is a chore, but you gotta do it. Class Act is Lv. 17, though, because it evolves through happiness and I just had him in the party when I boxed everyone else to grind up Bloodwing and Spooky. Anyway, team updates are out of the way, let's get moving to Route 3 and scoop up our latest encounter. So Route 3 i…

The torment has yet to begin, but hold your horses, it's coming...very, very soon. So I think they lowered the encounter rate for Oricorio in Melemele Meadow, because grinding the team up a bit was honestly more of a pain than usual. I still managed to get everyone up to Lv. 19, but it honestly took a lot longer than I had hoped. So, without further delay, we're forced to go to the Alola Photo Club and get a picture taken before we head off to our next destination on our island challenge. I still think this whole "forced photo club visit" is a total waste of time. Let's just get it over with. So out of all my team members worthy of being in a picture, I had …

To be honest, I'm a bit afraid of these upcoming trials. One is changed ever so slightly and the other one has a very annoying totem to deal with. The second one is probably one of my least favorite totems, but if you asked me honestly which one I liked, I'd tell you "the easy ones so then I don't get screwed." Anyway, as usual, I grinded up the team to be ready for the upcoming totem encounter. Nothing really eventful happened during grinding, but I will say that fighting Oricorio with a Roto Exp. Points is a good way to get experience faster. But with that aside, it's time to head onto the next town that I totally never mentioned existed in the last episode and…

To be honest, the upcoming trials worry me quite a lot. After the trainwreck that was the Alolan Marowak disaster, I did some training to prepare. At the same time, I've finally broken the cycle of having a party full of males by adding Mailbird and Mother to the party. While I have no real idea why I chose to use Mailbird outside of the upcoming Grand Trial, I figured I could get some milage out of Mother. At the same time, though, I swear I'm blind or something. I had looked on Serebii to see when Mother will evolve and instantly assumed it was Lv. 27. It's actually Lv. 28 at night, and with how Ultra Moon has a twelve hour time difference from Ultra Sun, I ended …

This is it, ladies and gentlemen. With this, I am officially caught up on where I currently am in the Ultra Moon Nuzlocke. Although, due to snow related problems because northeast US in March of 2018 apparently has to have winter 2.0 during spring, the next episode won't be up until next Friday. Gives me a chance to grind up backup team members and generally work on other things, but we'll be back to the grind of avoiding despair and losing to a required encounter or something. I'm honestly starting to think that my Rotom Dex is actively trying to make sure I lose by giving me nothing but useless Rotom Powers. I have 14 Roto Hatches and a bunch of Roto Friendship…

Before we begin today's episode, I have something to say that I want you to keep in your hats for about an episode. I went back to Konikoni City after doing the MVP Spotlight for Nanu and bought the Shield Fossil and ressurected it at Route 8 for a Shieldon. This is important for later. Now, on with the episode. Well...here we are. Back to the Aether Paradise. This time, we aren't here on a pleasure cruise...even though the last time we came here, we ended up fighting a pissed off jellyfish from an Ultra Wormhole, so you could argue that the first visit was hardly a pleasure cruise too. But to get back to the seriousness, we have to rescue Lillie, and Gladion "…

So, before we get into the plot filled fun times that is Poni Island, let me just say one thing. I added Thug Life, that Scraggy we caught on Route 16, to the team. Raising her up was a pain since I'm saving my Roto Exp. Points for when I really need them. Along with that, I have to get my secret weapon ready to go. Anyway, we have a date with Plot Island, so let's get to it, why don't we? Thanks to Gladion and his boat driving skills that he somehow has, we arrive in the last town in the game, Seafolk Village. Almost nobody lives on this island, which apparently makes it the perfect place for all the major story events to happen. Gladion informs us that we nee…

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls. The moment we've all been waiting for has come. The time has come to confront the big, bad, light sucking Necrozma. But before we go and ascend the Alter of the Moone at the end of Vast Poni Canyon, let's take a glance at who our Defenders of Alola's Light will be. From what you can see here, I chose to switch two team members out for this mission since they would not be providing much help in this epic battle. Spark Plug doesn't have anything to hurt Necrozma too well and The Third, while useful, can't really take a hit too well. To temporarily replace them, we have Shades, the Krookodile we got as a Krokorok in Haina…

Well, today's the day. After taking some time to recover from the despair filled nightmare that was Ultra Necrozma, we're back and ready to take on the final trial. But before we delve deep into this mess, I did do some grinding and chose to add Evil Kelp the Dragalge to the team, mostly just to handle this last trial. He honestly has no other major roles to play outside of that, to be honest. Otherwise, it was the standard "raise everyone up and have a backup mon prepared for certain things in this episode" kind of grinding. So, when all your item purchases and grinding is done, make your way to the Wishcash boat...house thing, a place you probably visited if yo…

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, the day has finally come at long last. We've come a long way, from beginnings on Tutorial Island to ending up in a number of bad situations on Poni Island that we managed to pull out of through sheer luck and amazing strategy. Now, we stand at the top of Mount Lanakila, where Kukui the Conqueror and his generals wait for us. Before we jump into the final battles, how about we take a look at the team we will be bringing in for Operation Ultra Conquest. When you think about it, without you, the readers, we wouldn't have probably made it this far. So, what I did with this team is take any team members that were either reco…

Hello, and welcome back to...wait a minute, what the hell is this? Why does the script make this sound like an intro for a YouTube video? It looks like I'll be having a nice, long talk with the script crew about this one tonight. It will not be a pleasant conversation, I'll tell you that much. That's not what we're here for, though. Today, it's time to scour the Alola region for content now unlocked since we've become conqueror of Alola. Well, sort of, since we aren't going anywhere near Aether Paradise. Now, let's not beat around the bush, let's...oh wait, I forgot. Before we do go and take care of business, let's talk about team changes. Since Captain Keys …

The time has come. We have reached the point of the game where the kiddy gloves come off. We're coming up to a point of the game where we're going to be caught in a number of difficult battles. Not right away, but trust me, they're coming, and they can be the difference between every member of the team surviving or a couple of deaths in this episode alone. Because of this, I grinded up everyone to about Lv. 41 for safety reasons. Master Derp also finally evolved into a Slowbro during grinding, so that could be useful...well, at least once we find a Water move that doesn't suck. Sadly, that won't be for quite a while, so we'll just have to deal with it. On another h…

So, let's talk about Ultra street fighter IV. While it's slow to learn, the game can be one of the funnest experiences around. The game itself is not worth playing without a console controller, as keyboard controls are impossible to really "get down with." My reviews will be compartmentalized based on a few things, just so you know. They will be: Graphics, gameplay, story, audio, extras, and the overall experience. Graphics: The game makes fantastic use of cell-shading, making somber characters look grim and goofy characters look fun. It really does make the whole cast of characters look good in their own rights. Not only so, but the stages can do the same, making dar…

Since my preferred subreddits and other forms of discussion are dead I figured I might start a thread here for anyone that plays my preferred genre of virtual violence, fighting games. Doesn’t matter what you play whether it’s street fighter, tekken, gear, some obscure doujin fighter that had 2 arcade machines in south east Asia or just some simulated sport fighting. Drop in tell us about your game maybe find a match or help newbies to get into it. As per usual I didn’t think this through but it can’t hurt right.

What are the consoles that you own? 🎮🕹️👾 For me, I currently own the following: ✿ Game & Watch ✿ NES ✿ SNES ✿ GameBoy Colour ✿ GameBoy SP ✿ GameBoy Advance ✿ Nintendo 64 ✿ GameCube ✿ DS Lite ✿ Wii ✿ Wii U ✿ Sega Genesis I used to own: ✿ 3DS ✿ Playstation 1 ✿ Playstation 2 The 3DS broke after many years of using it. What is your Comfort game?

Hey! I was curious, there's so many games out there. Is there a particular game you find yourself going back to over and over again? Just something to calm you down and restore a feeling of familiarity? My comfort game has always been Diablo II, it's just a comfortable, slow paced, even game where I can relax and enjoy myself in a dark moody setting. It also reminds me of my childhood where my whole family would order pizza, get some drinks and play the game all Saturday long; a LAN party. I'm a Sorceress at heart, what can I say? Do you have a comfort game? If so what is it? Is there a reason behind it or does it just feel right? I love you, ❤️ …

So a lot of forums will have a thread dedicated to upcoming games as a whole, but if you stick to that formula you'll probably get a whole bunch of "Cyberpunk 2077" and not much else. So, I figure focusing on just this month not only encourages people to look into games they might otherwise overlook, but to also give an excuse to revive the thread every month and keep some discussion going. With that said, what games releasing in August 2020 are you looking forward to or interested in? I know we're halfway through, but gotta start somewhere, right? For me, Ogre Tale takes top billing. I love the style of both gameplay and artwork, and it looks to be a lot o…

What game are you hyped about? Maybe a platform-exclusive releasing soon? Maybe a remake of an old game? Or maybe you got hyped a while ago for an older release? Either way, share here! Disclaimer: Copied from my recent (as of posting) status... So hyped for BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle! Please get released on Steam! It's a crossover fighting game featuring BlazBlue (Arc System Works), Persona 4 Arena (Atlus), Under Night In-Birth (French-Bread) (all games that Project BB Team worked on), and RWBY (Rooster Teeth), set to be developed and published by Arc System Works, for a 2018 release.
