Elie waved at Emi sweetly as she smiled. "Did you enjoy your nap baby bunny...oh sorry we're being professional here I mean Emi." She said hoping Emi knew a bit about the Lotus Princess. "I loved your song and I must say you have very great talent. Raw talent that could be shaped."

Rina and Alexandrine followed Emi out to the other room, as Mitsuko left.  Just one other then, the woman they rescued before.  Well Rin was not really involved in that.  She was there, but did not do anything.  Not that she felt ashamed, it was unexpected and she had not learned her powers yet.  Alexandrine returned to to chair she had been in before.  Rin went to Emi’s side since they were going to be doing this together.  She did not say anything yet though, as Elie was talking to Emi.

Emi's face grew a hint flustered. It wasn't just the compliment about her singing. No, it was also the comment about her being a baby. That was even more embarrassing somehow.

"I did, yes" she replied quietly. Alas, she did not really know much about people who sang. She did however know Elie from when they had met prior! That certainly wasn't something that she was going to forget. Nor, she assumed, would Elie. Or any of them really.

"Thank you."

She had to disagree. It didn't seem as though she had done all that well. But she wasn't going to object to the woman's praise either.

"I believe you and Rin would be perfect as couple singers a group if I may say. I'm the Lotus Princess as a singer but you know me as the Princess of Fate or Elie. I wish to help you get a foot in the foot but.....the real question is do you two want that? And if so would you be singer as your civilian self or magical girl selfs. In all honesty I won't do it as magical girls because it could paint a target on back but the choice is up to you." Elie said a bit worried about Emi and Rin

Emi fidgeted nervously in her seat. Doing it once was bad enough. More times? In front of larger crowds? That was asking for too much, at least from her. Besides Rin didn't need her for singing! She could do that herself, couldn't she?

"I don't think I could do it. Sorry."

It would be a good way to make money. To become more popular. But the idea of her doing that again? She could not fathom it.

Elie looked at Emi as she walked over and took her hand. "I know it's scary to be in fornt of a big crowd on stage. Trust me when I first started I froze on stage. I was 9 years old....and I peed my pants on stage. I....I've never lived it down but after that I found a way to handle it. My next show I looked out into the crowd and zoned in on one person and thought of them as the most important person to me. That was only time my mother and father came to a concert. So I remember that day and keep it playing in my head at each performance." Elie smiled her voice soft and motherly. "Would it help if I did a tarot reading to see what your future holds?"

As her hand was taken Emi lifted her gaze to meet Elie's. She couldn't imagine doing that when she was only nine. That sounded terrifying! Horrific! Oh no. She didn't even want to risk something like that. Honesty was good, she was thankful for that, but Elie still couldn't live it down. Emi didn't want that.

Still, there was good advice too! Maybe it would help her in the future regardless of whether or not she used it for singing. Focus on one person. Zone everyone else out. That was how one beat stage fright, apparently. Maybe. Hopefully.

"Tarot card reading?" She shrugged, paused for a moment in thought, and then nodded. Why not? It couldn't hurt, right?

Rin continued to quietly listen.  Hopefully Elie could convince her.  This would end here if that failed.  She was not going to do that by herself.  If Emi would not do it, she would not either.  She simply would not listen to any advice or encouragement to do it solo.  Of course she did not want to force or over pressure Emi to do it either.  The goal here was to convince her to do it willingly.   A tarot card reading was an unexpected solution.  But if it worked, it would be worth it.

Again Emi nodded. It was unfortunate for Rin. Of course she wanted to help her friend out, and knew that she might enjoy singing, but it was simply too much for her. Then again there was also the guilt behind that to consider. She could bear with it for her friend's sake, right?

I don't know. Having friends does come with its difficulties, huh?

And now she was going to do a tarot card reading! She didn't really know what that all entailed but hey it was definitely something new to try! Would it work? Probably not for this, but she couldn't discount the possibility either.

(I am assuming Jumi is in her magical girl form, please correct me if otherwise)

'Fujiko' was walking around the con, checking out everything, when she noted the art sold at a certain stand. She casually walked over, flashing a playful wink at the proprietor, that made him blush and momentarily look away, when she caught him looking at her. "What kind of art will I find here?" She asked. She noted not everything was displayed, as she heard his reaponse about a 'wide variety' of artists and looks. So she began to look through what he had, wondering if the more riské stuff was hidden. It appears that way. There were clothed renditions toward the front, in the middle she was starting to come across topless art. "Ah, a man of culture indeed." She told the proprietor, with a gentle smile which he reciprocated. She looked for the Princess of Fate, but couldn't find any.

As she looked further she was aware of a presence next to her, a magical girl, with pink hair. The very same one that looked to be on a topless pin-up piece that was Exzel's hand as she browsed. She pulled it out turning it away from Jumi and placed it face down on the table, trying to silently indicate to the proprietor, to hold it for her. She went back to browsing, a picture of a topless Daimond Sorceressin her hand, as the pinked haired girl talked to the owner. Looking to Jumi after, "Hello there miss, I love your outfit." She said nicely, to compliment the girl. "You wear it so well, and your hair, is simply amazing! So bright!"

Jumi was not really listening to what others were saying.  While she was trying to preemptively buy out any nude/partially nude art of herself, she did not really care what others bought.  She was not going to lecture any fan in a place like this.

The came the flattery.  Was it just innocent compliments, or did the woman hope for more?  She had been doing this a long time.  Played that whole game with the fans, sometimes letting them have a little fun with her.  But she was not as easy to get into the head or heart of as Elie or Alexandrine.

”Oh, thank you.”  She returned, with a small smile.  “It’s nothing special though.  Just comes with the transformation.”  That was one bonus.  Unless she had come in just after a fight, she did need to do any cleaning or grooming to look like this.  Did the woman not know who she was?  This was not her territory, but she was more or less a ‘local’ hero.  But there were plenty of travelers here, both Magical Girls/Knights and fans.  If she had missed the speeches at the start, it was not too strange the woman did not know who she was.

"I've only recently moved her from, Hokkaido," smoothly reciting the cover she had worked out for herself. She turned and politely bowed as seemed to be the custom in these parts, also aware it helped show her cleavage off momentarily. Practiced at using every advantage her body offered, it was all part of her visual-phsycological tactics with interpersonal communication. Even if people weren't attracted to her sex, they almost all universally reacted better to beautiful people.

"I'm Fujiko, Please forgive me, I'm not familiar with your name, but I'd love to know it, if I may?"

Elie looked at Rin and Emi. "I can do a shared Tarot reading for both of you about your future. However if the fates don't convince you then I will no longer push the subject. Is that fair to you both?" She asked spreading out her cards. "Now next questions which spread would you both agree on and would you like civilian me to do the reading or Magical Girl me?"

Jumi was not making any assumptions about what the woman wanted at this point.  She would leave it up to Fujiko to give hints, if she had specific desires.  “Rose Fairy.”  She introduced herself.  Still not completely surprised that someone in Japan had not recognized her.  There were so many teams out there, you might not hear of another unless you were a regular to things like this, or researched them in other ways.  “So, what you brings you here?”  Did she want to see someone specific?  Just enjoy the atmosphere?  Something else?

"If I'm being truthful, I wanted to meet the Daimond Sorceress. Such an interesting girl, you know? Now that I'm here however, I do like music, with the performances. Music night back home was always something I looked forward to."

She nodded down to the table they were at, "I find some of the art very well done as well. This is the first con I've been to, there's so much to see. So many people to meet. I wonder, is it true... that fans and girls sometimes get personal time like the rumor I heard?"

She leaned in closer lowering her voice, trying to look discreet, "How would that even work?"

Oh, she was bold.  There were occasionally men who were blunt about this, but this was the first time she had a woman ask it so bluntly and quickly.  If it had been one of this men, just coming out and saying it, that probably would have been the end of it.  But she would humor Fujiko with some answers.  Though not quite so directly.

”Oh yes.  Those rumors.  They are certainly popular.”  They would not be just rumors if people like her openly admitted it of course.  Well, what might happen behind closed doors was the real rumor, not the meetings themselves.

”There is an area.  A bunch of private rooms of us can invite one or more fans to talk privately.  That’s the thing though.  Invitation only.  One of us has to want to take you there.  Of course you could do the same with one of the Knights, not just the girls.”

Alexandrine though?  She was interested in her?  “I do know.  I’ve known her a long time.  Convincing the Diamond Sorceress though…I don’t know if you heard her talking about what happened with her.  But that might not be so easy.  Personal advice.  You should not ask anyone to take you back there.  One of the unspoken ‘rules’.  Well not really a rule.  But you are much more likely to succeed if you aren’t quite that obvious.”  Subtle hints were one thing.  Spending time with them, maybe doing some of the activities.  But the idea was the fan should ideally be invited without asking to be.

Emi's head tilted slightly.

"Is there a difference between a reading in either form? If not then whichever is easier for you would be fine."

Would these cards change her mind? Probably not. Not unless they could somehow remove that terror that she felt up on stage. That seemed impossible unless some piece of her mind, or her brain, were removed. Or a curse. Perhaps some other thing?

Being able to control people's minds would be a terrible ability to face.

It would also be totally unfair! Not that fairness tended to have much to do with their fights. It was win or lose. Kill or be killed. Or, at the very least, win or be screwed. Then again that depended upon the foe as well, but most seemed to be fine with that result.

"I can do any spread. I've trained in all of them. Maybe we can ask Rin which spread she'd like?" Elie smiled transforming back into the Princess of Fate. The starry night sky veil of darkness appeared as the tarot cards surrounded her. Once she transformed she sat perfectly like a princess would her cards floating near her.

Would this help?  Were the cards reliable?  Rin did not know.  But it seemed harmless to try and she was willing to do anything that might warm Emi up to the idea.  She was a little curious just to see how it all worked as well.  “Do it for us together.  Beyond that, I don’t really get how it works.  I’ll leave it up to you.”  How much would they learn?  What would they learn?  How vague would it be?  They would find out.

The bunny nodded in agreement with Rin. She didn't really know how it worked either. "We will leave it up to you." It would be difficult for both of them to decide upon something that they knew nothing about, after all! Or did they really have to choose? Emi wasn't quite certain.

***By the merchandise***

Fujiko feigned an embarrassed look, "Oh!" Covering her mouth a moment. Still leaning somewhat close to keep the conversation somewhat private, "I honestly had no idea. That is why I asked, I had heard some things... but this really is my first time at one of these. But thank, that is very good to know. Could that space used for say, private jam sessions if one was musically inclined?"

She straightened back up, "I did just talk to Daimond Sorceress not long ago. She has such a good soul, it was a nice talk. May I ask, will you be joining her new team?"

"I've been doing this since I was little kid.  I have my own team, based not far from here.  We each have our own areas to protect."  There were occasionally times they had fought together.  It would happen again, she was sure.  But most of the time they would be fighting separate battles.  Nice as it would be to be on the same team, but it was best to keep separate, protect more area more reliably.  "But sure, you could do any number of things in there.  As long you don't disturb people in neighboring rooms, you should be able to do just about anything you want, if the one are with is interested."  The point was privacy really.  Just about anything was allowed, innocent or not.  Though she would only confirm that for more innocent options.

"Of course that makes sense, thank you."

Fujiko/Exzel turned towards the rooms, wondering if any where occupied. The rituals of these earth humans where different, but she's seen far stranger. What were they doing in there, really?

She went back to looking at the art. Finding a good one of Daimond Sorceress, and pulled it out to set with the other one. These would be good to show her subordinates later if nothing else. She did come across another of Jumi, completely naked. Lookong it over if she really had that form, she was quite attractive. Fujiko pulled it out, turned and held it out to Jumi for her to take, of she wanted it.

"I imagine you are looking for these. I would completely understand, in your position, I might do the same. Although, this one does seem fairly tasteful compared to some, there's a certain elegance in the lines, but they paid special attention to you face. There, the gentle expressionl, yet eyes of someone ever alert and on guard. Still probably not for the general public eh?"

She handed her money to the man for the art she had pulled out, and he put it in a bag for her.

"I wonder what else there is around here to see? Did I hear correctly there was a cosplay competition tomorrow?"

Buying pictures like that, and now giving her this one.  Jumi was not sure if that was a more elaborate subtle message of what Fujiko wanted.  She looked at it a moment, though she tended not to look that closely at how other people drew her naked.  “It’s more tasteful than what some people draw, at least.”  She left it unsaid, that she assumed Fujiko was perhaps purchasing pictures like this of her friend.

“Oh, there is a whole bunch of stuff happening here.  Yes, there should be something like that later.  You plan to dress up like one of us?”  It was a surprising thing for her to ask about specifically.  Fujiko certainly had the body to look good doing it though.
