I do understand it can be overwhelming, I think for your character (or mine) it is the best item possible.

Remember that on top of extra DC it also gives extra spell slots.

Luck Bonus to AC +5                         62500‬ (main power)         (Bonus squared (25) * 2500 for being luck)

Luck Bonus to Saves +5                    75000 (second power)     (Bonus squared (25) * 2000 for being luck * 1.5 for second power)
