Now that I'm back to work and the hangover is semi-settled, I'll be getting posts up and will be looking to get more active now. As good as the money is, I'm grateful the overtime is done at my job site. But I'll get ya hwhat, I feel beat worse than a porn addicts penis.

No matter the amount of time, or if I even get on. Exzel is a character that is still floating around in my mind. I might be gone for months to recharge writing batteries, but she aways comes back to my mind eventually. 

I really feel like I've wrote some of my best chatacter work here, and eventually get drawn back to check on things...

I didn't forget Akemi either. 

Just need time, and the proper inspiration.

Understandable. Hellhounds has been waiting but no pressure. I doubt I forget her anytime soon either. XD The excited ball of energy will be there when the world needs her. Or something... But yeah, take your time. Good to hear from you after this while, knowing you're safe. :) In time things will move. (All I'm hoping is I didn't forget to post. o.o)

Exzel is tied to Elie's story for sure. But there can be side stories, to be sure.

Exzelcryth, a variation of her, a vary close variation, started as an NPC in a table top Rifts 3 galaxies game during the minion war, I ran over a decade ago. That same Exzelcryth I used to base the one here on. Though that Rifts campaign is long gone. Exzel has stayed in my mind ever since. Like some of my first RP characters back from the 90s. I've never had a fragment of a created female (originally NPC) characyer stay with me for so long. Male characters from back in the day I remember fondly. I think all had some reflection of some part of my personality.

Perhaps it was the backstory. Or the fun playing Exzel back then, and then here after my table top days faded. But still she needs to be dusted off and written again some time.

I will be around sooner or later, with Exzel and/or Akemi. It may only be as time permits. But they are in my mind still. My demon and my samurai.

Going to expand the story a bit.  Said enemies could be aliens too.  Have an idea for them.  A pair of them.  Will put up pictures for them in a moment.  But proper bios will take a bit, as I am still considering the details.

Yeah, I figure this Earth has had its share of a mix of demon, monster and alien attacks over the years.  Monsters are a bit of a vague idea still, but distinct from demons.  Some monsters probably native to Earth, but some could also come from the demon world, or other worlds.

Definitely makes sense. While I didn't plan alien threats with my guy character, I know I had some other extradimensional threats that were meant to be a thing. Although the person I was working on the character ideas with doesn't come around here anymore, so I'm probably gonna have to either work on something new, or else go with the old idea and don't run as far with it. 

I still need to dip my toe into this game properly though.

I have so many characters out there but still waiting for replies. x.x Some characters I've put before like Delphinium who probably won't appear, though. I'm all for loli characters but right now, the setting is a bit difficult on that. We've built up some nice character lores in the cities so far, though. All we need is more character interactions.

The curse of your creativity, for sure. You could have tons and tons of character ideas, and usually are paralyzed by the choice possibilities/potential. : p 

That being said, It's no surprise some of those ideas can't really show themselves as much given what I remember of the rule changes. I need to try and follow the lore buildups in the city threads, but the last thread I looked through for that was the... Uh, the magical girl convention? Don't think that one flowed too well toward the later parts of the thread. x.x

Shinigami is a lot like a schrodinger beast. She was there in the convention but only to those who "observed" her. And I almost want to make this canon XD She is a beast of void with almost too complex birth, existence and reasons of being around (But we can also call it bad storytelling and it was my fault in big part. Trying to fix her slowly)

But yes, she was a big deal in the convention but due to the flow of time and space, she is probably already "forgotten" except for by those who are close around her. The further you are from her, the more you will forget about her quickly. (This is not directly canon but my mind is having fun). All people see in her, if they forgot, is a monster. :P

Well, even if the characters forget, at least we as writers can see more sides of her in the other topics! I can't say I see her as a monster (my goofy ass liking furry/anthro characters naturally), but I suppose I can't speak for what characters might see. I suppose many would want to try to avoid her given what she makes use of, and characters that can't really moderate themselves might find themselves on the wrong end of her abilities. : p

Well, she kinda threw her relics away, leaving her with basic powers of dark/void. They might not inflict death but they might make you beg for it. And yes, the way you think is how Mitsuko was thinking. Anyone experienced enough might have sensed her hostile magic. That girl was just like "This fox kinda cute and I'm curious about her", at her.

Granted, it's my own fantasy twist. A newbie magical girl being easily attracted is one thing. At the same time, she is managing to get some "fans" but many are justifiably cautious about her. The "monster" thing is more that she is non human and well, non-humans are not exactly allies. The dread energy might make anyone run away from death.

Pretty much everyone was together at the convention, but yeah that came to end.  Unfortunately dropping the plot around Chiyako’s Emi, almost every remaining active character has split into one of two major stories.  Either the bunch around Shinigami or around the character that inspired the club, my veteran Magical Girl, Alexandrine (which could also be said to be a group around Balthier’s Exzel).  Have a few other characters split into smaller one on one stories.

Do have another possible idea that people might be able to jump into if they want, but will wait until I work out the details with the other key participant in that idea.

For convenient reference, this is where characters sit at the moment.  Some may or may not move in time.  Sticking to characters 

Shinigami story characters:

Shinigami, Mitsuko, Kaida, Nymphia, Micori, Jumi, Hikaru.  A few characters in involved in the story but without bios:  Nall, Reika, Uomi.

Alexandrine/Exzel group:

Alexandrine, Exzel, Elie, Zorn, Emiri (currently focused on flashback, which includes Canata and Zorn), Azreal, Zef.  Without bios: Catherine, Sebastian.  Hikaru, Uomi and Canata having strong connections that cause them to switch at some point.

To be fair, Hellhound is still a hell beast in the world so any magical heroes noticing her miiight lead to trouble. Fun fact, she fought on roofs and jumped around a ferris wheel to massively explode a roof of a building with her eruption strike. I mean, unless anyone thinks it's a magical girl's doing, yeah... Someone will end being onto her.
