IsabellaRose Posted June 12, 2024 Author Posted June 12, 2024 A new challenge is posted! For Challenge 32, write something inspired by the phrase "taking chances." Use any format, genre, or setting you prefer. The deadline is Jun 21!
WritesNaughtyStories Posted July 18, 2024 Posted July 18, 2024 Later today, I'll get the overdue Challenges closed, polls up and will post a new Challenge. 1
WritesNaughtyStories Posted August 19, 2024 Posted August 19, 2024 I see we have some new members, welcome. There is a new Challenge up for anyone interested. If you have ideas for Challenges, PM me or post them here, in the Discussion thread. Izzy's on sabbatical, so Challenge me is limited to yours truly, but I'm game. Our Stories is exactly that, share your story with us, fictitious, autobiographical whatever express yourself with words - purple prose is especially welcome. Questions, comments or complaints, please, let me know.
IsabellaRose Posted August 19, 2024 Author Posted August 19, 2024 I got the poll posted for Challenge 32! Please vote - the poll locks at midnight on 25 Aug 2024. 1
WritesNaughtyStories Posted August 29, 2024 Posted August 29, 2024 @Cheerios Quote I kind of refurbished this from something I did a couple years back. If that’s an issue and I need to write something from scratch, though, that’s absolutely fine. If you hadn't said anything, we'd have never known. It's fine. 1
IsabellaRose Posted September 18, 2024 Author Posted September 18, 2024 How much interest would there be in a daily Kinktober writing prompt? Nothing you'd have to do every day, but maybe I fire a few credits your way for every day you write one, just to get people writing and sharing some kinky fun...
NyxAvatar69 Posted September 18, 2024 Posted September 18, 2024 I can't make any promises about writing something every day (or something the general base would consider "kinky fun",) but I'd be willing to give it a try. 1
IsabellaRose Posted October 1, 2024 Author Posted October 1, 2024 New challenge! Daily Kinktober writing challenge - write every day, win a prize!
inkylore Posted October 9, 2024 Posted October 9, 2024 if i wanted to just write a story in parts like a saga... should those parts be done in the same thread or different threads? didn't have anything specific i wanted to write about just kinda was thinking of starting and going
IsabellaRose Posted October 10, 2024 Author Posted October 10, 2024 @inkylore Just start a new topic in Our Stories and keep posting to it as you add more!
IsabellaRose Posted October 28, 2024 Author Posted October 28, 2024 With Kinktober wrapping up, we'll need some new writing challenges. Anyone have a good idea?
IsabellaRose Posted November 1, 2024 Author Posted November 1, 2024 KinktoberFest is over! I'm participating in NaNoWriMo, so there may not be any challenges this month. I'll see what I can do, but no promises.
WritesNaughtyStories Posted November 1, 2024 Posted November 1, 2024 I'll offer this suggestion: The beginning of the holidays are upon us; there are horror stories from getting a little too drunk at the company party to the heartfelt encounter at the liquor store. Let's hear your holiday encounters, from the mundane to the insane.

WritesNaughtyStories Posted November 2, 2024 Posted November 2, 2024 @inkylore has it. Lots of problems around gatherings of people either start or are worsened by alcohol. But please, if there are holiday stories that involve other drugs, don't involve poor decision making at all, or poor decision making that doesn't cause hassles, let's tell those stories too.

WritesNaughtyStories Posted November 2, 2024 Posted November 2, 2024 Either is fine. Often, the very best fiction draws from life and almost every recollection is embellished whether we meant to or not.

After a bit of thinking it over, I did come up with something. You know how during December they usually have those "12 days of Christmas" specials where they play Christmas episodes or movies? I don't know if they still do it because it's been years since I've openly watched TV, but how about something in a similar format to Kinktoberfest, but just with winter/holiday themed ideas. Just, a bit shorter than 31 days. We can even throw in the "drinking at a holiday party" idea in there, since that apparently happens. Also in advance I'll give my usual "no promises of actually participating depending on what other things I have going on at the time" comment, but we saw how that went last time. 12 holiday ideas may actually be a bit harder for me than 30 different ideas following their own themes with a somewhat connected plotline mixed in there.

We could do a 12 Days of SeX-Mas challenge. I can try to come up with some holiday-themed prompts. I'm going to be busy for the rest of the month trying to finish NaNoWriMo, but maybe I can get something together in early Dec. 1
Kissa Posted December 29, 2024 Posted December 29, 2024 It's loong time from the last time I wrote something. This is exactly the kind of writing exercise I need : ) Had trim modest 1500 words out to make it close to 1500 : p I get sidetracked way too easily. I didn't come up with anything happy, so bitter sweet it is : p Took a look at previous prompts and there were some really interesting ones. Looking forward to future challenges : ) 1
inkylore Posted January 14 Posted January 14 could i use the "challenge me" section in the same manner you and WNS have used it, isabel? as a both to be issued writing challenges too? i wanted to get back into the grove and habit of writing recreationally again.
