I'd press the button after preparing to have a towel ready, and the restaurant isn't busy while sitting in a more private place.

I'd push it expecting there would be no legal ramifications for my sudden public nudity. Perp walk naked in cuffs through a three Michelin star restaurant in a foreign country hits different than just walking out with a smile.
