Victor frowned slightly, hearing only every other words that the headmaster shouted towards him, but nodded, catching the general sense of what the man had in mind. He managed to make his way sideways, meeting Edgar half-way. "Right," he agreed, putting more of his attention on trying not to get hit by any debris that the wind might have picked up. Keeping his gaze peeled to the center of the hurricane, his eyes narrowed, as he noticed something shine in the distance. Indication of magic, perhaps? He glanced to Edgar. "Think- some students- went a bit overboard with elemental magic?" he asked, grasping onto the man, as a stronger gust pushed him backwards.

Fighting against the force of (dubious) nature, he felt the sensation of his nails elongating slightly, the animalistic survival instinct inside him giving him the first indication that it might as well help him out - no matter if he wants it or not. For the time being he shrugged it off, but made sure to keep the claws away from Edgar's skin.

Edgar noticed the strange light in the distance as well, changing his course of travel for it. He noticed how quickly the teacher grabbed onto his arm, making him realize the severity of the situation. When Victor called out to him on if the cause were students, Edgar nodded. He didn't dare turn his head in case any debris were to come flying towards them. "That is my thought as well. It seems we have someone quite versed in wind and water magic or directly tied to storm magic. Do any students like that remind you of everyone?" While the vice headmaster did have general information files on all of the students in attendance, he knew that the teachers who directly worked with the kids might have a better idea of their abilities and potentials. When the wind got stronger, Edgar had an idea. He quickly raised one of his hands to cause a thick dirt barrier to rise in front of the men. It blocked the wind from hitting them too hard, and would allow them to talk a little easier.

Julie had been going to the school for a long time now but she only attended morning classes. She is normally quiet and sweet and didn't cause any trouble in class. The only thing that was particular strange about her was how she would comment that the human students looked yummy. It was about a month ago that she started having food problems and stopped showing up to class. There was no more fish in her pond and the frozen fish at the school cafeteria and human stores weren't enough, plus she didnt have the funds to buy it all.

This led to her personality and desperation to take a turn for the worst. You could say she was hangry, vary hangry. Hungry enough to eat a fellow student or a teacher. She glared up at the two that were coming towards her. She thought that the storm wasnt completely useless on land. It wasnt as good as eating the contents of a sunken ship but it was something.

Mary had been aware of the lack of animals around the academy and she has been trying to find the source for it. So far, it seems to elude her, but rumors has it that it started around the school pond. So that is where she is headed right now, especially with the arrival of a nearby storm as well. She readies her trusty big revolver and makes her way closer to the point of these rumors.

Victor took cover before the makeshift barrier, coiling down as the wind passed by them. "Uhh," He tried to bring up the image of his class. "There's Raul, from the human students, but he wouldn't have a reason to create something like that..." His went behind his neck as he thought some more, then froze, as he remembered someone - someone whom he didn't really get to see much this year. "Wait..."

He leaned out from behind the cover, once again forced to turn his head and cover his face as the wind struck against it. His eyes narrowed, as he tried to discern the glowing shape in the distance, He may have been wrong, but it was worth a try.

The werewolf let the drift push him backwards, and hooked his claws onto the cover, letting the force blow him back behind the dirt. A couple seconds passed before he managed to catch his breath to speak to the headmaster. "-Edgar, do we still have those, uhh- human-flesh-substitutes in the dining hall somewhere? You know, the kind we give to Wendigos, and other man-eaters," he asked, recalling a conversation from a while back where he learned about this. "If so- could you bring some? I... think I have an idea of what's going on-" He looked back towards the school, and instinctively took a step back, pushing his back into the barrier. "Oh, and could you tell Mary to keep that gun holstered? For Christ's sake, this is likely a student of ours~" he asked, not really used to the sight of firearms being pulled out like that on school grounds.

Edgar waited as the werewolf @Icarian Dreams inspected the situation, hoping the teacher would have a better idea of the situation. Most of his attention was on keeping the barrier intact, realizing after the fact that dirt might not have been the best idea in a wind storm. He gave a curious head tilt after the teacher mentioned the specialized foodstuffs that the school kept on hand. "Yes... I believe we do still have some. I will have to leave here to find out. Give me one second." The elemental knelt onto the ground and focused hard, causing a second barrier to rise up underneath the dirt one, this time a stone one. "This one should last until I get back. I will send Mary over here, just in case. While that very well could be one of our children, there are others here that we need to think of the safety of as well. If anything, I know that she carries some non-lethal rounds that she could use to subdue the one causing this." He trusted the wolf's instincts, but he also had to make sure the situation was controlled quickly. His body slowly dropped into the ground, sending him across the grounds to the head of security.

Edgar rose up from the ground a little bit away from Mary @JennyDK, not in the mood to be shot today. He yelled out to her, hoping she would hear him. "Mary! Swap to non-lethal rounds please. Victor has an idea on what is going on, and it is probably a student. If you go that way *pointing to the direction of the stone barrier* you can meet up with him. I will join you two there shortly." After he told her the information he sank back down into the ground, arriving into the food stores of the dining hall, looking for the things that Victor requested.

This entire time Julie was just laying on the ground. Her body probably couldnt handle any sedatives. Anoyone close enough to see how her ribs showed could probably come to the same conclusion. She could see figures moving around but it was hard to see through the storm. It was also hard to hear. Her storm was going to continue to worsen until she either died or got fed.  The strong winds were causing her mermaid tail to dry out. She let out a distressed sound that only something from the depths of the sea could make.

In a painful process, her tail turned to legs. It was something she was trying to avoid doing because it weaken her further. With trembling hands she pealed off her remaining fish flesh stuck to her legs. The bloody mess made it look like someone had died.

Mary doesn't really mind switching the type of rounds being used, as long as they get the job done. Of course, there is no reason for lethal force when it can be avoided. So while she marches to the spot where Edgar spoke of, she replaces the rounds with tranquilizers, which are meant to help put anything from tiny to huge to sleep."Allright. Yah better make sure this is the best idea or it's on yah'r head if things go south", she quickly responds whilst moving closer.

Victor's face twitched as a distorted cry came from the center of the hurricane, making him for a second question his judgement. Could... Julie, was it? Really make such a noise? It sounded more like a wounded whale than that shy little girl he saw in his class near the semester's beginning. Still, he was quite confident in his eyesight, and, unless he fell pray to some wicked illusion, he definitely did see a small feminine form, hidden in the grass up there.

Edgar's voice brought his attention back to the present. and the werewolf's eyes focused deep on the headmaster's, making sure to catch every his word despite the roar of the surrounding wind. "Alright-" He just confirmed with a nod. "I'll be waiting here for you. I really hope I'm not wrong on this one," he expressed with a light frown on his face.

He smiled as the headmaster disappeared into the ground, as always feeling a faint sense of wonder when he saw the ability, then frowned in realization. Wait, why couldn't he do that to get closer to the eye of the storm?

With Mary finally coming closer, he greeted her with a nod, before offering her his hand, in intention to pull her behind the cover. In a way, the situation was similar to a firefight, with small chunks of picked-up debris floating at dangerous speeds, so having someone with Mary's experience near him did make him more confident in their efforts. He still disliked the sight of the gun she held in her hands, but knowing that it was loaded with non-lethal ammunition put him at relative ease.

Edgar dug through the various tubs and boxes, looking through the various monster food stuffs. He was going to have to have a talk with the cafeteria staff about better labeling the contents of this store room. He finally found what he was looking for, finding only one packet of the flesh replacement that hadn't expired. Another thing to bring up to them...very soon.

Edgar returned to the two staff members @Icarian Dreams @JennyDK just a few moments after Mary had gotten settled next to Victor. "This is the only one that we had left. If this is the solution, we will need to acquire more very soon. Keep an eye out both of you. Hopefully we will get there quickly. Victor, your idea, you hold this." He handed the packet to the teacher. His eyes lingered a short time on the head of security, but now was most definitely not the time to be paying attention to how beautiful her pale hair looked when the wind blew it behind her... The vice headmaster quickly cleared his head and placed his hand on the stone barrier and began to push it, making the barrier move with them, giving them a mobile protection along with allowing them to move faster through the bufetting wind.

The trio eventually made it to the center of the storm, finding @SilverGirl20 in the center of it.

The weaker Julia got, the stronger her storm became. At the moment it was strong enough to make the walls of the school creek and sway.  She was patiently waiting for something edible to come to her. of course she was looking for something living and moving around that she could attack.  She was alarmed and hissed at the moving barrier as it got closer to.

Her eyes narrowed like a cats eyes before it pounces. When they were near her, she used her remaining energy to attack the professor @Icarian Dreams . Maybe deep down she recognizes him, but couldnt restrain her survival instincts. She flashed her sharp teeth which almost looked like a shark's teeth. It seemed like she was aiming for his shoulder. She wanted to bite him. Sink her teeth in until she could taste bood. Despite being dead set on killing something, her thin body didnt look like it could take a hit at all.

Once the mermaid decides to try anything like an attack, the security chief gets as close as she can, aiming her gun at Julia, not really interested in any sort of injuries or casaulties. Luckily, she switched to heavy duty tranquilizers and with a few shots made, she hopes that at least one of them might hit her and have this be resolved like this.

Victor twitched, blinking a few times as a sharp scent of flesh suddenly hit his nostrils, surprising his unprepared senses. It took him a second to adjust and straighten back-up (as much as he could while remaining behind the cover, at least), turning towards the emerging man, and the packet of meat in his hands. He greeted him with a faint nod, and listened to his words, visibly concerned with the situation. "Well, let's hope it'll do," he muttered, taking the food from the headmaster.

As the barrier shifted under Edgar’s hand, bringing them closer to the goal, he kept a close eye on the figure, around half-way through breathing out in relief, as his eyes started to discern a student of his – bloodied, alert, and faint – but familiar.

He put his hand on Edgar’s shoulder, stopping him when they got closer, then grasped onto the edge of the barrier, pushing himself outside, then immediately recoiling back as the force of the wind proved greater than he expected. He grit his teeth, tightening his grip on the packet of food, and tried again, this time managing to support himself with his right foot, not letting the wind carry him away.

Step after step he made his way closer, covering his face from the hurricane as he approached the girl. He peaked at her from under his arm, trying to understand the situation better. She didn’t appear to have been casting anything, nor did he see anything unusual near her, but the storm was clearly centered on the girl. He’s seen her impact the weather in a similar fashion before once or twice, but the tempest they were in was reaching sizes that he strongly doubted such a little thing like her could summon without any aid.

Then, his gaze met her eyes, and he realized the mistake he’s made. Instinctively, his arms rose to protect his head, his eyes widening as the vicious little serpent lunged straight at him. He tried to move back, but the wind swept him to the side, forcing him to catch his balance back right before a set of tiny, but sharp teeth sunk themselves deep within his flesh, using this momentary fumble to draw deep crimson blood.

He screamed in pain, the impact throwing him a few feet into the air and ripping the food from his grip, his scream turning into a roar as agony took over any and all control he had, his clothing stretching and tearing on his body as it grew in mass and size, his skin turning into a thick coat of dark-brown fur. He landed on his feet and hands with a loud impact, digging his newly elongated claws into the ripe ground, ripping bunches of coastal grass out of the dirt as the air current pushed him a few feet back.

His lupine head rose, his glowing eyes instantly catching the tiny form of the foe who just had managed to cause him so much pain, and who must have gotten separated from him in the midst of the chaos. Without a second thought, he dashed straight at her, the gale proving less of an obstacle to his empowered muscles, and pounced, his arm winding up into a rage-filled slash that his animalistic mind aimed to direct straight at her soft throat. @SilverGirl20

Once Victor @Icarian Dreams had rushed further into the storm, Edgar pushed him and Mary @JennyDK further forward until they were close enough to get a view of the situation for themselves. The vice headmaster didn't know if this was a student that was really causing this storm, but if it was, they needed to get them to stop it and make sure whatever happened didn't happen again.

Once they had finally got close enough to get a full view, he heard the pained scream of the werewolf teacher. Before he was even able to react, he saw the gorgeous woman next to him react with her war trained reflexes, heard a few pops as she shot off the tranquilizer rounds. The elemental couldn't tell if any of them hit, but he did hear something he feared might happen.

Edgar's form began to flicker as he felt his long temper reach its limit. This was supposed to be a day of fun and joy for his children...and now it was very close to being ruined. It's voice deepened to the sound of a rock slide as it spoke. "ENOUGH!" The earth elemental's form was now twice the size of it's human shape. It raised its hands and the ground began to rumble as a ring of dark stone rose sixteen feet high around it, the wolf, the soldier, and the student @SilverGirl20. With the walls so high, none of the buffeting winds could reach any of them. It looked at the wolf and serpent, summoning vines to wrap and bind the two to the ground with tremendous force. The elemental looked to the moonlight haired human and pointed to the faux flesh packet and then to the student, the elemental battling with itself inside enough that it was unable to speak coherently.

Julie wasn't thinking about anything in particular just that she want to attack and she wanted to kill and she wanted to eat.  Other than purely attacking anything that came close to her, she didnt think about defense. Though she wasnt sure what happened to the security chief's @JennyDK tranquilizers. She sunk her teeth into the professor @Icarian Dreams and let out a satisfied purr. The taste of blood seemed to calm her like a wailing baby that had been given a bottle. The storm also seemed to calm drasticly. Reinforcing the theory that it was hers. Her big blue eyes looked at him from the corner of her eyes as the professor started to change.

After being throw from him, she let out a groan. The climax of her storm had ended and, much like her strength, slowly started to disappear. She breathed heavily from the exertion and tried to wipe the crimson that had soiled her face. She looked at the professor and left the need to quickly explain herself instead of dodging his attack. "S-sorry professor... I could feel myself slipping and I got desperate..." she closed her eyes tightly hoping to feel the relief of a painless death.

Instead, there was an eerie silence as the vice headmaster's @Thatannoyinggod earthly barrier blocked out her storm. She let out a shrill cry as his hands restrained her. If one was not careful, she could break like a glass doll in her current state. All at once, her storm completely dissipated. It was a sure sign that she was moments from death. In a way, the storm represented her will to live and her fear of death.

Things quickly escalate even more as Edgar mixes into the scene with his earthly powers, trying to make the situation return more back to normal. The storm dies down finally. As the mermaid seem to be harmless, she lowers her weapon, but does not holster it just yet. It could be a trick, after all or she will resume her attack again once awake."What in tarnation is going on here? Someone tell me! This could'a have hurt a lot of people. Mistah Victor...seems like yah know this here girl?", she growls and even though she sounds mad, she still retains her composure.

The wolf’s arm twitched, as uncertainty struck his mind. Something was wrong. The girl- the prey, she was saying things, not running. Victor… knew that voice. And somewhere, from within, he tried to stop the blow, not seeking any harm to the prey. The Beast hesitated, torn between loyalty and instinct, its charge slowing down. But then, some unexpected force struck directly into its chest, knocking all breath out of the werewolf’s lungs and throwing it straight into the ground before thick vines wrapped themselves around the arms and legs of the monstrous form.

The Beast thrashed in the binds for a couple seconds, low growls of frustration resonating within the dome as the floral restraints kept firm. It looked frantically around, searching for a way out, furiously pulling on the plantlife one more time, before realizing it’s futility. It fell back to the ground helpless, saving its energy for another time.

============================

Victor woke up. His head hurt, his shoulder hurt, and he already had had an innate feeling that something was deeply and seriously wrong that he just couldn’t get rid of. He tried to move, but something stopped him from doing so – be it the weakness in his muscles or maybe something entirely else. He groaned, slowly started to regain the feeling in his digits, and feeling the cold evening air on his bare skin.

He heard someone shouting, and slowly turned his head in that direction, through half-opened eyes seeing a humanoid figure next to what he first identified as a miniature mountain. Only when he saw it move did he recognize it as the vice-headmaster. Fuck. What did I do this time… He sighed in resignation, and tried to stand up, only for the vines to firmly remind him that that was impossible. Once again, he fell back down, and coughed a couple times, clearing his throat. “Is- Ugh, Is everyone alright?” he asked in a raspy voice, groaning as he felt the smell of blood in the air. Most of it was his blood, but there was also some he didn’t recognize.

The elemental watched and waited as the wolf began to shift back to its human shape. It released the hold of the vines on the teacher, but not quite releasing its hold on the serpent yet. The danger didn't seem just quite gone yet, but the elemental thought it would be safe to return to its humanoid form. It looked over to the human that seemed to quell its tremendous rage, focusing on how strong she seemed in the usual situation.

Slowly he shrank, his body returning to the green haired, suited up male that everyone knew him as. Edgar let out a deep sigh, releasing the tension in his body. "I apologize for losing my temper. Mary, I belive this student is the cause of the storm. Victor wanted that packet for her. Would you mind checking on her. I hope I didn't harm her." He turned to the werewolf next. "As for your question, it seems so at this moment. You were bit which in turn made you bite her. What do you know about that student and what might have happened here?"

The girl could feel a tremendous force holding her down and didn't even try to move around. In fact, her body felt heavy and she didn't think she could move even if she wasn't being held down. She trembled and coughed softly. She watched the professor @Icarian Dreams thrash around before changing back. She felt guilty for biting him in her desperation. Her lips quivered as she spoke but her words sounded more like a weak whisper. "Sorry professor. It's my fault you got hurt.... I'm not so good at hunting on land."

She seemed focused in on the professor and not really interacting with the other two. She could feel herself slipping and sought his forgiveness before she left. She quietly listened in on the vice the headmaster's @Thatannoyinggod conversation with the chief of security @JennyDK. She teared up a little when she heard the professor had gotten her food, but she had repayed him with an attack. "I'm sorry professor.." she repeated as her body had started to relax on it's own. "M-my stomach... doesn't hurt anymore.... so you d-dont need t...."

She suddenly went quiet before she could finish what she was saying. It was something more serious then simply passing out. Her eyes were still open but they had lost that tiny light that most living creatures had.

Mary sighs in relief as the worst seems to be over with and that there is no imminent danger right now. She walks over to the mermaid to examine her body and, if needed, tend to any wounds that may need her attention. She is still quite surprised how this even came to happen and out of the blue. It just goes to show how danger can and will lurk around when you least expect it. She takes a brief moment to call for backup and a physician, who knows about various monster types."Just try to and lay still until we get some sorta medic to look at yah. Once yah're back tah a proper state, we can talk 'bout how tah handle this afterwards", she says as calm and nicely to the mermaid as possible.

She gives a look to Edgar."Should ah report this or will yah?", she asks him quite plainly.

Feeling the vines release him from their grasp, Victor pushed himself up into a sitting position, supporting himself with his arm for a moment, and listening to what the headmaster was saying. The wound on his arm was already starting to mend – courtesy of being a monster – he thought bitterly. He fixed the torn pieces of clothing still hung on him. Thankfully he didn't transform completely into an animal, or these would most likely be in scraps.

Upon hearing the notion that he hurt a student, his expression turned pained. “Fuck,” he muttered, mostly to himself. He scrambled himself up, groaning as his muscles ached, sore after the transformation, and took a couple uneven steps to get closer to Julie before kneeling down next to her. “Shhhh, it’s alright-“ he tried to calm her down, not really sure what to do in such situations. Thankfully, in his quick examination he didn't spot any wounds or cuts on her, but with the vines covering most of her body, he couldn't have been sure. “We’re getting you a medic, you’ll be fine,” he picked up on Mary’s words, hoping to reassure the girl. For a moment he just sat there, his forehead wrinkled with worry, listening to the poor student he attacked. But then her voice grew weaker.

“Hey, hey HEY, stay with me!” he raised his voice slightly, rushing to the girl as he saw her drop unconscious, only to stop near her, unsure how to help her. He hesitated for a moment, then extended his hand towards her neck to try and check her pulse, his eyes quickly moving towards his colleagues, and the girl again.

She was preparing to give up and in response all the pain she was feeling was starting to numb. Her vision was blurry but she could see the shadow of the professor rush towards her. She could feel his hand on her skin. Her body was loosing its heat, making her skin cold. "Thank you..." she exhaled. It was becoming hard to focus on their words. At first they sounded distant, then they only thing that filled her hears was a soft buzzing.

If she was just been injured, then maybe she could have lasted longer. Her malnourished body felt like it was being crushed under the strange vines. Every breath was a struggled and her body was shutting down. (Edit) She desperately needed food before it was too late. Without it, she might not make it until the medics arrived. @Icarian Dreams @JennyDK

@JennyDK

It was a sunny late afternoon at the academy. Classes for the day were finished and most students had either departed or were attending club activities. The large courtyard of the school, with its impressive fountain that continued to spew water up into the sky, was thus largely deserted.

The only souls to be found wandering around were the trio of LuBelle sisters and the minotaur Achlian Ajax, who almost quite literally dwarfed the girls by comparison with his three-meter tall, hulking mass of muscle and fur. It was honestly a surprise to Achlian that he could fit into his school uniform, considering his physique. What did humans say, “a marvel of modern engineering?” It certainly had to be that!

“Oopsy daisy~!” With a slight grunt, he lifted up a tree that had been knocked over by some other large monster student by accident earlier that day. After making sure it wouldn’t tip over again, he gently placed a hand against the bark of the tree and focused his magic. The roots came alive and began worming their way into the soil as said soil shifted to cover them up. Soon it almost looked like nothing had happened at all.

“Wew~! Well, that takes care of that! How are you girls doing?” he asked while turning his head, looking out to where the trio of sisters was working. They’d been assigned clean-up duty for the courtyard that day.

Due to some mistake (but not in actuality), the LuBelle sisters has been given a punishment due to one of their pranks, which they still claim was not their doing at all. So they are not really here by their own free will. All three of them are not really very eager to walk around and clean up messes, so they don't put in very much effort either - they are definitely not the kind to suck up to teachers, at least not in any sort of academic or behavorial way. Most of the time, they stand around and chat and laugh. Only once in a while do their tools pick up garbage and they keep away from the nastier stuff. They are soon addressed by the large minotaur. They have no ideea if he is there of his own volition or not."Ohh, couldn't be better!", "Absolutely perfect" and "Remarkably well" are the answers given.
