The staff are mysterious anons. it's time we shined a light on them and got to know them, and talk about ourselves in the process! so I was thinking this can be a kind of 'ask the staff anything' topic where people can join in and answer questions too. the only rule of this is that when you're asking specific staff members to mention them (So they get notified! ^^;;) and have to respond! Or if its something you're asking for all the staff just make it out to all the staffz.

oh and no, no one is obligated to answer specific questions, IE if they are like way too personal. of course. lets make this fun!

@Temaelrin, @Neptune, @Manni, @SMFoxy, @Aura and @Sunstone:

What is your favorite music genre or artist at the moment?

I like this idea~ X3

But oh damn. Why did you have to ask such a hard question. I have several at the moment 😧 Two Steps From Hell (Listening to them as I write this actually) and a band called Ignea are the ones I am listening to the most right now. Plus some Rammstein.

I don't know, it changes from time to time, but my favourite genre is heavy metal/ symphonic metal/ Industrial Metal that sort of stuff. As for artists; it's a toss up and changes every now and then. It used to be Lacuna Coil, Rammstein, Deathstars, Cradle of Filth, Nightwish (Although not post-Tarja), Lindemann, Amaranthe and at the moment, Ignea (A little known independant band from Ukraine).

Are we really so mysterious? I would have thought I was quite upfront 😶

Well, I don't have a particular taste for music, it generally just depends on what fits my mood. But I tend to prefer songs that tell stories or use heavy symbolism. Most of my favorite songs have probably made me cry at some point in my life. 😂

I am ~obsessed~ with music. 😅 Always discovering new songs and albums and always happy to try (almost) anything out! My personal favourite music is pretty much anything that is electronic, and some of my favourite genres include EDM, Trance, Psychedelic Rock, House, Drum 'n' Bass, Synthpop, and even some Ambient/Experimental stuff from time-to-time! Lately I have been listening to a lot of 4Hero and Armand van Helden.

As of right now, I listen to a lot of Coheed and Cambria for no particular reason other than I like the band. I do listen to others, it's just the one I always go back to at the moment.

Probably waste most of it celebrating my win. 🙃

I would definitely invest that money! It'd probably go into an emergency fund to help pay for whatever I need. Man, being responsible sucks. .-.

I would probably keep maybe $100-200 to spend on whatever, probably video games and whatnot.

Well first up, I'd have to pay taxes on that win. Then I'd invest the money in expanding my business, buy some things for EcchiDreams (Getting some custom work done) so I can make more money. I wouldn't spend it all in one go, for certain.

I have several;

  • My Boy! Free. Game Boy Advanced Emulator that I play Pokémon games on.
  • My OldBoy! Free. Game Boy Emulator that I play the older Pokémon games on.
  • InstLife which is a random little game I play every now and again where I live a random life xD Try and get a good job, and a house... and shit.
  • Seedship. Again, a random little game where I have to try and colonise a planet with a colony ship, but there's randomised events and shit. Thus far I have failed to save most people lol
  • Mahjong Master. I sometimes get the craving to play it.
  • Idle Miner. It's a cute little game.
  • Forge of Empires. Because I like it xD

assuming you all have mobile phones: what's your numbers? (Jkjk) what games do you play on it?

Oh boy, I hope you like lists. On my personal phone, I have a fair few games that are broken down into two categories.

Commitment Games:

These are games that I have an active commitment to, I am in at least once a day with these games because I work as part of a guild, and I can't let my guild mates down. I try to keep games like this to a minimum, otherwise I don't have enough hours in a day.

  • Idle Heros
  • Portal Quest
  • Forge of Empires (Which I mainly play from the PC)

Free Time Games:

These are games that I go into whenever the hell I feel like, maybe I'm bored, maybe I'm just passing the time (Rare, but it happens)

  • Dead Ahead (My first ever game, that I had back when I had the Google Nexus 10, a huge tablet)
  • Turretz
  • Tower Defence King
  • My OldBoy!
  • InstLife
  • Idle Farming
  • Idle Miner
  • Almost a Hero
  • Idle Factory
  • Word-scapes
  • Space Trader (A game that I used to play on my Palm OS device, years ago)
  • Hooked Inc.
  • Life Simulator

Ooh boy... let's see here... when it comes to mobile games, I tend to stick to more simplistic games, while the larger games that require more time and energy I usually play one of at a time and eventually stop playing once I miss an event or whatever. Recently, I've been playing a lot of Solitare more than anything. I stopped keeping up with Duel Links a few months(?) ago, but I still have it in case I ever want to go back to it. I have FE Heroes and Pokemon Go as well, but I haven't played either of those in a long time either. I tend to go through phases of addiction to different games, but I usually get bored after a few months. Other small games I have include:

  • Stack - A very simple but very addictive game where you stack blocks on top of each other. If you don't stack them perfectly, any parts hanging over the edge will get cut off, making it increasingly difficult. My record is 140 blocks.
  • Skyward - A bit of a bizarre perspective game that is basically leapfrog between two dots, with the goal being to travel as far along a procedurally generated obstacle course. The dogs can stick to the top or walls of any platforms. The catch is that you have to keep moving or the dots will slowly disappear, and you lose if you tap the screen and the dot isn't over a wall or floor. There's a hard mode where the circles disappear faster. My record on classic mode is 467 while my record on hardcore is 142.
  • Radical - Another very simple game where you play as a triangle and have to fly through holes in a series of walls. It's pretty straight forward. I mostly play on Radical difficulty because the others just take too long to get going. But my record for easy is 186, Normal is 161, Hard is 80, and Radical is 45.
  • Crossy Road - This one was pretty popular, so I'm sure everyone knows what it is, but if you don't, it's basically Frogger with time pressure. My record is 343.
  • Two Dots - A candy crush-esque puzzle game about connecting dots of the same color. Connecting dots in a loop of any size clears all dots of that color on the screen.
  • One More Brick - You've probably seen an add for this game or one just like it. You shoot balls at numbered blocks to try to break them. As the game goes on, the numbers get higher and you shoot more balls at once. I like this one in particular though because it has a store where you can use in-game currency to buy new types of balls that each of special abilities.
  • 2048 - Another classic puzzle game where you slide tiles around, connecting identical numbers to add them together, with the goal of reaching 2048. A lot harder than it sounds.
  • Doodle Jump - Pretty much THE OG mobile game. I don't think this one needs any explaining.
  • Snake Vs. Block - Somewhat derivative of One More Brick, you play as a snake and try to run down a path as long as you can, collecting dots along the way and losing dots every time you hit a numbered block.
  • Sudoku - I do enjoy doing Sudoku puzzles every now and then.
  • Fire Rides - A pretty fun physics game where you have to swing a fireball through hoops. The game can be a bit wonky at times, though, and the ads are unfortunately pretty intrusive.
  • Dancing Line - I've kinda fallen out of favor with this one. While it is fun, I find the difficulty to be a bit unfair. Maybe I just don't have the sense of rhythm necessary, but I find it impossible to play to the beat of the music or to react visually. But the game has some really catchy songs and interesting aesthetics that keep me coming back every now and then.
  • Jelly Jump - You're jelly and you jump. Pretty self explanatory. The goal is to climb to the top while toxic goo is rising from under you.

As you can see, I tend to favor more simplistic games that still require some level of thought and strategy.

Ok. anyone is allowed to put questions in here by the way.

my next question is: what would you do if you were given or won 1,000,000 of your currency?

There's a lot I would like to do if I won that amount, but the main things I would like to do most with it would probably be travelling to parts of the world I've always wanted to visit, buying super-expensive tech like a studio camera and a very powerful desktop computer and stuff, and maybe play some high-rolls at the casino xD. I think I would like to save at ~least~ half of it though.

Only 1 million?! Even lotto has more than that! LOL, joking!

First, I'd pay back my parents. After that...hmm...well, pay off my education so I can get work!

What do you think of Cyberpunk 2077?

I'll reserve judgement and wait for the actual game to come out. I don't pre-order (Any games) and I try to cap my hype as I've been let down so many times. So I have low expectations, but that's on purpose.

I've never watched/read the Cyberpunk series so I will be completely new to it when this game comes out, but I am interested in the dystopian theme of it, as it's something I happen to like in movies/games. I might indeed get the game if the reviews on Steam look good enough, post-release.

Other than that, I've got nothing more to say.
