Gardsorm Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago I wouldn't really dismiss it out of hand? I mean, it's the future, and some people like to rebel against norms. Who's to say there wasn't a means out there to drastically alter ones physiology to be something less human and more humanoid? Could be genetic splicing, a new mod or something that hits the streets, a whole new synthetic form. Someone maybe didn't stop at seeing Cat/Dog/Fox/ect people and decided to go all-in on the furry aesthetic, and maybe they became a trendsetter for others to follow suite however possible. Even in that Otherscape game I looked into, genetic splicing seemed to one of the biggest contributors to seeing a person become something much closer to a furry. Can even roll several concepts into one, I do not think the game is expecting you to follow through on some epic story, it's more a backdrop to the character you bring here. :3 2

Can see what Minorikawa thinks about that: "Character types and races should fit the setting, so generally humanoid with maybe some cybernetic or genetic modification. Nekomimi/cat girls can fit as either, for example, with a cybernetic implant of ears and tail with artificial hair. Futanari are also fine. For now, no supernatural creatures." 1 1
Gardsorm Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago Ahhh, I see now. Although I didn't really see or spin it as a supernatural thing, I suppose that does count as a strike against anything less than human. :c Dammit. 2
Warning Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago Yup, and I've seen those rules before I said anything here. I don't exactly have a fitting human like character. I tried to search but kinda gave up for now. 2 1

Minorikawa Posted 7 hours ago Author Posted 7 hours ago I'll go rewrite the line to make it seem maybe less restrictive? I dunno if anyone else remembers Batman Beyond, but that had genetic splicing where people got some animalistic features. When I originally made the setting it was geared a bit more towards my preferences, but I'm going to be very back seat at this point so, eh. I think it's a stretch to have a fully anthropomorphized animal and say "they just got a medical procedure", but if that's the only art you can find to represent what's on your mind, then go for it. In regards to being worried about leadership vanishing: again, don't hold me too much to be a responsible leader. This is a low priority for me right now, admittedly, but it's also intended to just operate on its own energy. No real story, just a public setting where you can make your own mini-stories if you'd like. 2 1
SataiRolePlayingGuy Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago In worst case scenario, as leader, I’ll take charge if needed. But for the time being, will let you have the final say on things. 3

Most businesses can't run off of just one person, so a business with multiple bosses or groups of people controlling is usually a better option. Could be Owner to keep the overall "Business" running, then a Floor Manager to make sure staff like bartenders, bouncers, singers/dancers(etc etc), keep their place. Like, I am thinking of making a bartender(like I said earlier), so having somebody repeatedly check in to make sure she and her partners(other bartenders) are fine would make it seem more realistic, compared to: "Give beer, have sex, wash cups, repeat!" Also the thing about different timezones for each worker could be fun. Maybe a "Clock-in, clock-out" system? 5 hours ago, inkylore said: oh the jenny probablem.... Warning Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago Please don't... Don't get into a topic about that person... We don't need that kind of thing in this club or any other ones. Let's keep it fun... >.< As for the rules being somewhat different, if the rules come to accept furries, I might have a cyberpunk neko but I'm still searching otherwise. 4
LEROZERO Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago Yeah, I won't get into it. I am here for hedonism of the highest order! I believe he did say he'd rewrite the rules to be less restrictive. I think you should be able to do a PARTLY anthro character. Like, a good bit of fur on the arms and legs, but not an animal head? I don't know... 3
LEROZERO Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Can I get a go-ahead to give my character a job? Just making sure in case we haven't fully decided. 3
DreamsnThings Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago I think it might be a nice idea to play a cybernetics mechanic rather than a proper member of staff... or maybe a mechanic whos working as a server to make ends meet? im realizing I have not seen too much of the nitty gritty details in a cyberpunk setting 2
LEROZERO Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago There are plenty of bartenders in Night City? Hell, the amount of bartenders probably outshines how many people in the military there are... Of course, she could be a multi, running the bar and occasionally running cybernetics clinic when tuning is needed? 3
DreamsnThings Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago ya know bartender is kinda neat... personally I think one of the more interesting bits in a setting like this is integrated tools/programs into oneself, for instance if i make a bartender she might have a shaker directly integrated into her arm with her misusing the gyroscope to give rather unique handjobs ... It could be really interesting if I played a server who had a liquid storage/dispenser system integrated so shes a walking Tap for the more common drinks... 1 1
LEROZERO Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago I think that sounds good! You just gave me an idea.... I am going to make a bartender with swiss army knife hand, it'll have a knife for cutting fruit(and defense), a bottle opener(when people just want a beer), and maybe a few more things that'll help! 2
SataiRolePlayingGuy Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago I admit cyberpunk is something I have always only very vaguely familiar with. Have to see how it influences my characters. No direct physical impact on Dai, probably, but might or might might not put a twist on the idea I have for the woman. 3
SataiRolePlayingGuy Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago 13 hours ago, Minorikawa said: It's fine to allow someone to play a working role in the club, and then have other people interact with NPCs also working that job. So multiple bartenders, waitresses, bouncers, etc. The only kind of role that it'd be weird to have multiple people is the club manager, which would be best saved for me or Satai if such a character were to be made. Back to the question about playing staff, this seems to be the okay on it. You should be able to make that bartender. 2

LEROZERO Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Do let me know if I need to change anything about Maray! 3
SataiRolePlayingGuy Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Picture I will probably use for my woman has been added to the private galleries. But still considering her details and how 'cyber-punked' she will be. 3
Warning Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago So yeah, so far I didn't find what I liked but I have a kind of Bastet cyberpunk... And she's furry... yeah. Still looking. (I have been looking around for hours. Apparently cyberpunk is a tag but I don't exactly want a Rebecca character because, well, Rebecca.) And apparently, other than cyberpunk, there's no keyword to define the style. >.> 3
