I grow up in a house where the concept of privacy is very thin so I'm comfortable with using google most of the time hahaha. Serious the only doors that lock in this house are the bathrooms an nobody nocks

Nobody knocks at my house either, but they're my family. A corporate entity controlled by a board who answer to shareholders don't need to know anything about me. No matter how valuable it is to them.

As an American I realize my distrust of my government strikes most of the world as ridiculous. I think a gander at my current government might make it seem less so. We criminalize drugs, prostitution and homosexuality but excuse rape and murder. That those people can subpoena records from Google, Alphabet, Facebook etc. terrifies me.
