Wishing For a Sister (SataiRolePlayingGuy x Jae)

Yuki missed too, and Aki did frown a little. She wondered if she should really have been so worked up over something so childish, even if the plush was cute and she loved it. "You go again." she told him. It would definitely be a sight to see if Yuki won it and gave the prize to her. Though, she definitely didn't want him to be so selfless when he could get himself another prize. Was this how girls always felt around their boyfriends? Spoiled?

Yuki would have preferred to win Aki's prize either way.  Seeing how much she wanted it, how happy she might look if she got it.  That was the sort of thing he hoped for with this date and was more important than winning any prize he might choose.  Nothing really stood out anyway, though if he was forced to choose, maybe he could eventually find something he liked.  He paid for a second shot.  He put even more time into this one.  Focusing his aim, ignoring everything else, he second guessed himself a few times before settling on his position.  He could not take too long, not let anyone behind them get too impatient.

Finally he fired, this time he hit his mark.  Pointed to the chosen prize, and after receiving it, held it out, offering it to Aki.  Looking forward to her reaction.  A happy girlfriend was better than any prize back there.  Though if Aki still wanted to make a second shot for the fun of it, that would work too.

Aki stared and blinked, surprised for a moment that Yuki actually gave it to her. "W-Wait, really?!" she exclaimed, her face in a deep tone of red with her lips forming an awkward, but jubilant smile. Perhaps it had to do with the fact that up until now, Aki was the one winning prizes for Yuki, holding the door for her, and all. Suddenly realising that she was the one on the receiving end freezed her thoughts a little, but she was really grateful for the plush. "You really won it.. Thanks Yuki, you're amazing." she tells him as she took it from her boyfriend's hands and hugged it to herself. She couldn't quite find the right words to say in the moment, but her smile said it all.

Aki held off on another attempt at the game, having already gotten what she wanted. She decided she'd win next year as she didn't want to blow too much cash on a simple game. Looking around, there was still a lot to look at. Lots of food and treats, other games, fortune drawing, and a large parade was passing by in the middle. "Have you drawn fortunes?" she asked him. She had ironically done it already with Hikaru at the shrine but could care for another draw.

Yuki found Aki's reactions to the prize rather cute.  The sort of thing she was likely to treasure for a while.  Maybe more so because of how she got it.  "How could I not?  It was worth it, to get something you like that much."  While he did not overdo it, did not spend excessively, he enjoyed buying things for Aki from time to time.  This was a little different though, a little more special.  First time he won something for her through an act of skill.  Even more special, since he was not sure if he would be able to do it again.  He walked at her side, letting her hold the shark, as they looked over things.  They probably would want to get food at some point.  Though it was still early enough they could wait a bit.  It was fun to look around, maybe play some more games.  When he heard her suggestion, he thought that might be fun.  "No, haven't done that yet.  Let's go learn the future."  He did not seriously believe much in those sorts of things, but they could be fun, to see what they say and try to guess how likely it was to happen, or how it might happen.

Making their way to the booth, Aki went ahead and drew her fortune first. She pulled out the fortune slip, reading 'Bad luck'. It was the exact same slip she'd drawn from her trip with Hikaru. She herself hadn't exactly believed in all the fortunes and the like but she admittedly started to second-guess herself, maybe even feel a little anxious about what was to come. "I'm not the luckiest this year..." she says, chuckling awkwardly receiving her slip and looked to Yuki to see what he might have gotten.

Yuki was feeling optimistic.  Whatever he drew, he had no reason to be worried. He had managed to win Aki her prize after all.  That was something to make both of them happy.  Something that could cheer Aki up from whatever was bothering her.  Whatever he drew, he was feeling lucky, that good progress had been made and hopefully more would be over the evening.  “Feed it to the shark.  Maybe things will improve.”  He joked, trying to cheer her up as he drew his.  “Or you can share mine.”  He had pulled a good luck one, though would have felt the same if he had drawn bad, maybe offering to give the shark a second meal.

Aki looked at the shark then back at Yuki as he joked. It wasn't as if she didn't entertain the idea, almost wanting to do it, but remembering that she would be the one teasing Yuki when she was the boy. She still gave the thought a little chuckle and grabbed the other end of Yuki's charm. "I'll steal yours then, you lucky person." she said, also joking around as she yanked the paper from him slightly, but not strong enough to actually snatch it.

Yuki held on, lightly pulling back.  But not seriously trying.  He was actually thinking about letting Aki have it, but did not want to make it too easy.  It was fun seeing her like this, another bit of cheering up.  “Sure, sure, keep trying.  If you’re lucky, maybe you will get it.”  He decided to give her chance, in case it made it feel a little better to get it.  Especially if she got it fairly, or through luck of a sort.

With a quick pull, Aki yanked it away from her boyfriend, giggling as she showed the paper off to him. "Good luck is mine!" she declares. This felt nice. They felt like a real couple, even if Aki wasn't in the spot she thought she'd be in. She was slowly getting used to being the girl, expecting more and more of these differences. She still hadn't felt any special connection with Yuki, but figured it would take time, and a lot of trying. This moment was one to enjoy, she thinks to herself - specifically while staring down the row of food stalls just right in front of them. She just couldn't mask the sound of her stomach rumbling. "I haven't had anything to eat.." she notes, before taking Yuki by the arm. "I wanna go eat, let's go c'mon..." Maybe a chat over dinner could tell her more about whether anything from her and Yuki's relationship changed in this new world.

“Not my luck.  What will I do now?”  Yuki played along with supposed loss of fortune to his girlfriend, putting a hand on his chest in mock concern.  It was a fun moment, Aki was much more cheerful than earlier.  Hopefully she would feel like her luck really did improve.  He let her lead the way to the food stalls, let her decide what she wanted them to eat.   It was something they could do to pass a little time before finding some other activity or waiting for the fireworks.

Inside, Aki does feel a little annoyed, knowing that he was intentionally teasing her. Though, she still laughed along with him, knowing it was for her own sake.

Yuki's... somehow really nice.

She wondered if 'he', Aki, gave off the same energy while he dated Yuki.

She walked down the lane of food stalls leading Yuki. At least this part of Aki leading hadn't changed, somewhat. She doesn't say anything, a little vague of what exactly to eat. Though, her drooling expression at the takoyaki shops made it clear enough for her boyfriend.

Yuki chose not to call out his girlfriend’s drooling.  He led her towards the stall she chose for their meal.  He would let her focus on eating for now.  After they got their food, he took a few steps to the side.  Eating while next to her, their sides lightly touching.  He would let her decide if she wanted to just stand here and eat, keep walking, or find somewhere to sit.  He was just happy being around her and did not really care which she chose.

Aki stood there happily popping the octopus balls in her mouth, forgetting like always to blow them first as she is punished for putting steaming hot takoyaki right in her mouth. She looked toward her boyfriend who was brushing shoulders with her. She didn't say, but she sure seemed content just standing and eating. "Enjoying it?" she asked, her mouth still chewing. This date had hopefully been going great so far, and while her feelings haven't quite changed, she felt as if she'd warmed up to being the girlfriend and might feel stronger about Yuki soon. "How many dates have we really gone on?"

Yuki nodded.  It had been rather fun, and went better than he expected so far, at least with winning the prize for Aki that she really wanted.  That alone would probably make it special.  Though he thought they would have quite a bit more fun before it was over.  He paused for a moment to think while eating.  To try to get a count.  There was also potentially a question of what did or did not count as a date.  Was it just every time they did something together.  Or should only count things that were more officially dates?  As he considered it, he hoped he did not forget anything or not count something that should have been counted.  “…This is the 4th.”  He said, not completely positive, but with some confidence.

It was only the fourth date with Yuki? Aki thought it was a little less. Maybe they hadn't been dating as long as she remembered them to, even though they didn't feel the need to very often. The time they had together in school; lunch, after class hours seemed to be enough for the two. It wasn't really something that bothered her though, as she quickly finished her food. One thing that surely didn't change was how much Aki could eat.

She hugged the shark won for her close to her chest. Even if she has yet to evaluate how she feels about Yuki, she's began to quite enjoy her time with him, and felt fine doing anything "couple-like" even if it should have been embarrassing. "We should get a better spot if we wanna see them." Aki said softly, looking up to the blank sky. She of course meant the fireworks which were almost commencing. "And more food." she added.

Yuki did want to get a good view, and hopefully they would find one before it got too crowded.  “Yeah, we should.  Just let me know if anything looks good as we go.”  He stayed close, enjoying the look of Aki holding the shark.  He walked a little fast, but made sure it was not too much for Aki, also keeping an eye out for any sign she thought any of the other food looked good.  He did not mind making one or two more stops for that, though they might want to avoid anything with much of a line if they wanted to be sure to get a good spot for the fireworks.
