Alez was completely unaware that the phone was tracking and scanning her body, even in her ethereal form. Normally, man-made cameras and other similar tools couldn't detect her in her ethereal form. however, it was quite possible that this phone had been modified to detect divine beings such as herself. She'd merely assumed it was nothing more than a typical mortal cell phone and had no reason to suspect anything further. Even if the camera was running, she'd only assume the images the camera could pick up on were those of the city beneath her as she flew over the buildings.

After a short while, Alez managed to find her way back to Mr. Enron's building. The sense of dread in her heart only grew as she could feel demonic presence in much greater numbers. Even more shockingly, she found not a single Celestial presence in the area. "Wh-what!?" She clenched her fists. After she'd gone out of her way to report her findings to Caelisia, her request for reinforcements had gone completely ignored!?

She took a moment to catch her breath to avoid reverting back to her human form. Perhaps there was an explanation for the lack of action on Caelisia's part. But this situation was dire. She quickly lowered herself onto a nearby building's rooftop and crouched down with her hands held together in front of her chest. "Oh, Mother Caelisia. Please, please help me with this. I know you told me not to interfere, but I'm being left with no choice. I have no idea what's happening in there, but every second I waste I fear I'm endangering more innocent lives. Please forgive me and I hope that you would hold true to your word and send reinforcements to aid me."

With that prayer behind her, Alez could feel Caelisia's Blade materializing within her hand. It was a weapon that only members of Caelisia's troop could call in times of need. It was a blade that was incapable of causing any damage to mortals and would banish demons it comes in contact with to limbo for judgment. She'd only called the blade once before and that ended extremely poorly for her. She could only hope that this time would be different. With the blade in hand, she spread her wings and flew straight into the building toward Mr. Enron's office, completely oblivious to what horrors she was marching directly into.

*As it would turn out, Alez was not the only one heading to Mr Enron's office. Though she would not be able to phase through walls like Alez, since she was just flesh and bones really, Cassandra found herself in the backrooms of the building again. While she did spot someone flying the sky earlier, she had no idea it was the same person she had bought time for earlier by her intervention. While Cassandra did not know that the girl she had helped earlier was coming back into the building, she was not actually there to help her out. In fact, Cassandra was here for a completely different reason. She was here to investigate more into Mr Enron and most likely deal with him in a most violent fashion. She had gotten enough intel off the various demons she had dispatched on her way here to have a good understanding of what Mr Enron was doing. It seemed that her earlier hypothesis that the DSS system was being handed out like candy by some central agency was not accurate. In fact, when she interrogated the demons she had encountered after beating the stuffing out of them, the intel they gave her suggested that perhaps another scenario was being played out...a scenario she was all too familiar with. From the admissions made by the demons she had beaten...and then proceeded to dispatch, these demons were being promised this planet as a new domain by a higher power. This was different from her original guess that humans in this world had discovered the DSS and tried to use it to gain power over one another. Unfortunately, no demon would reveal what higher power they were serving...being uncharacteristically afraid to mention them...even with death hanging over their heads. Needless to say, this worried Cassandra a fair bit. A threat that even cowed demons into blubbering messes. While she could think of quite a few things that might do just that, there were actually only a few beings or powers that would be able to take technology such as the DSS, which was not from this world or even perhaps time and then transplant it here.*

I suppose you are under the impression that They Whom Represent Despair are here. echoed Helheim's voice in Cassandra's mind. It seems quite likely that they are here, this kind of activity is truly indicative of them.

"How many times does that make it now?" Cassandra asked Helheim rhetorically, as they both knew that answer to that. "Truly, they are persistent evils."

Persistence has nothing to do with that. You know as well as I do that they will exist and continue to do so for as long as sapients...

"Don't remind me, please." Cassandra replied to Helheim quietly. As she made her way through the backrooms of the building, trying to keep out of the sight of the cameras, she noticed that there were no signs of any security guards here. It was a bit odd, given that Mr Enron was quite wealthy and not very well liked though feared. One would think that one such as Mr Enron would employ night watchmen here. Something was definitely wrong here and it wasn't just the fact that she could feel the presence of demons in the building. She could feel a small number of weak demons nearby, which didn't worry her. What worried her was that there was something else where those demons were and it certainly didn't feel...right.

Location: Blackberry Falls North Metro Police Department. 11:45 PM.

It is late enough. Things should be winding down by now.

The streets were awash with rivers of rainwater. If only it was an outdoors job. Rain mixed well with the night time, made it much easier to infiltrate locations. Instead she'd be venturing indoors. Unfortunately the target location was a police department. They weren't easy. Impossible? Perhaps, if one was looking to avoid casualties or alert. However she was gifted, not in the sense that she was more talented but instead in the sense that she had an actual gift.

At least I remembered the raincoat.

She had been sitting atop a building adjacent to the rear of the police department for what had to be at least four hours now. Even she had become just a little restless, but then it was also for very good reasons. Security cameras had to be monitored and timed. The same went for patrols, or at least those that she had eyes on. She also needed to make certain that the whole thing wasn't a trap which, thankfully in this case, it didn't seem to be. Above all she needed a plan. She'd never broken into this building, nor did she have access to the floor plans. That made it quite dangerous. If only she had some sort of hacker knowledge, or at least a friend with those skills. It would certainly help here.

Finally she stood from her position, taking just a brief moment to stretch herself out. She clicked a button upon her watch. A simple hop over the edge brought her to the street below. The rain also kept them mostly empty. That meant less potential witnesses. A brief glance around to check the camera's positions and she was off, bolting across the road and towards the thin cement wall which surrounded the facility.

Five. Four. Three.

Without slowing she passed right through the perimeter, continuing in her sprint towards the closest wall. The combination of darkness and rain would hide her from the nearby security booth protecting the back entrance. But she had to be careful of the cameras. They could probably still see well enough.

Two. One.

She slid to a knee behind a dumpster, drawing in quick breaths. Her timing was generally on point. The camera should have missed her. Now came the most difficult part of the whole operation: initial infiltration. She couldn't see through walls. Perhaps there was some device out there which might allow her to do so. In fact she was pretty sure there was. But she didn't have anything like that, nor could she afford such a thing unless she robbed a bank or something. It'd actually be easier for her to do that.

Maybe I'll look into it. But focus. Focus. Steady breaths. Lets go.

Keeping low Emi pressed herself against, into, and finally through the outer wall. Her head peaked in, darting around swiftly to check on her current location. A hallway. Or, rather, one end of a hallway. There was a camera located directly overhead. Thankfully her current position left her in a blind spot. On the other side of the hall was a trash bin.

Lucky.

The rest of her body followed through, feet planting carefully upon the white polished stone floor. She kept herself hunched against the corner and, very carefully, she removed her rain jacket. After bundling it in a ball she glanced back up to wait for the camera's position to be right and proper. A quick toss sent her jacket into the trash bin. Plastic bags were untied from around her shoes and also thrown into the bin. She didn't need to leave a wet trail behind her. If anything she could pick it all up on her way out and if nothing else it'd simply get tossed with the rest of the trash.

Left in her clean white infiltrator's outfit, still dry thankfully due to her careful preparations, Emi reached down to flip a switch upon a device located within her accessory belt. It was a very short range electronic scrambler. Very important for her operations. It didn't have much range: only a room or two at the most, but it'd static up a camera's feed while she passed through. As long as she moved swiftly and in unpredictable intervals then it'd most likely appear to be normal fuzz presenting itself within a briefly malfunctioning system. Not only would it protect her from anyone who might be watching security feeds but it'd show up that way on recordings too. Perfect for covering her tracks!

Next retrieved was a small dentist's mirror, the same sort used to look at people's teeth. It was perfect for her. Easily concealed, perfect for peeking around corners, and it hardly stood out! With back against the door she lifted the mirror up, pressing it barely over the edge of the door's glass corner. A larger room with more cameras. Plenty of desks. It wasn't very busy right now. Most people were kept occupied with their work. Multiple hiding spots. A cork board covered in papers. But most important were the multiple fire exit maps.

Alright! That'll help!

Timing was key. She made multiple sweeps with the little mirror. Half a minute passed. She couldn't stay too long, otherwise the camera would look suspicious. When she was ready she pressed herself back against the door, rolling quietly through the wood and behind the nearest desk. There was a fresh coffee atop it so she couldn't stay very long. Another careful roll brought her to a cleaner one, obviously packed up for the night. She tucked herself beneath the chair and caught her breath.

A hand ventured down to retrieve a small collapsible telescope. She used it for her recon but it'd help her here too. Instead of moving over to the wall she simply peeked through it to study one of the fire exit maps. It had everything she needed: rooms, room numbers, room names, exits, stairwells, even fire alarm placements! Did it have cameras? No. But she'd already neutralized that issue. Unfortunately it didn't leave her much time for studying, but then she didn't need it. Her target was marked clear as day.

Bingo. Easy access. North-east desk should do the trick.

After folding up the telescope Emi took a brief gander about with her mirror. Nobody had noticed a disturbance. They were all hard at work. She was proud of them. Here they were vigilantly protecting the city. It did make her feel a little bad, but she had a job to do and good reasons for doing it.

Another roll took her past one desk and against another. Swiftly she made her way forward, crouching low to the ground and occasionally even assisting herself with her fingertips. When she reached the target desk she drew in a breath and allowed herself to slip through the floor, falling right into the room below. She'd bypassed the break room, a hallway, a staircase, another hallway, and a smaller guarded hallway to reach her destination: the evidence locker.

Gotta make this quick. Case file 190-BCV. 190-BCV.

Swiftly she moved through the aisles in search of her target. Section 170. Section 180. Section 190. Column B. There it was: a sealed metal lock box. With a soft grunt she lifted it up, hauling it over to a nearby table. Once it was settled down she closed her eyes, focusing on what came next. It'd be difficult, painful if she failed, so she needed concentration. Thankfully she had plenty of quiet opportunity for just that.

Her hand slipped through the metal box, fingertips brushing along what lie within. She mapped it out. A thick folder and a few items held within plastic bags. Simple enough. Easier than lugging around a metal box. Now came the tricky part. With great focus she allowed her hand and only her hand to become material. After gripping the folder she reactivated the ethereal form, only now it included the folder. One quick tug and it was out of the box. Two more dips inside and she'd managed to confiscate everything within.

With seal and lock intact Emi returned the box to its original position, drawing in deeper breaths. Mixing which parts of her were material or not was still not something she'd mastered. This was good practice though. As she collected the evidence a glance was taken towards her surroundings.

I bet some of these have guns. Ammunition. I could use more. Should've checked the map for the armory. They probably have one in here though. Maybe next time. Or, I suppose, a gun store. Probably easier.

A quick search around brought her to a nearly identical map of the fire exits. This one had the 'you are here' location marked differently for obvious reasons. Otherwise it was spot on. Ultimately the easiest exit was also her entry point. Well, perhaps not the easiest. A powerful enough leap would send her right through the roof. But it was the safest route. If she left no witnesses to her crime then discovering who actually performed the job would be much more difficult. She hadn't been caught yet after all, nor did she plan on being caught now.

Thankfully the trip back was much simpler. A hop up within the closest desk. A couple of rolls over towards the door. A zip across the brief stretch of carpet towards the door. A carefully timed retrieval of her rain gear. A slip out behind the dumpster. Finally one swift dash through the outer perimeter wall. Boom. Once she was safely hidden behind a car she clicked the same button upon her watch that she'd clicked earlier.

Not bad. Quicker than I'd anticipated. But then I also got lucky.

A button on her belt was pressed, finally deactivating the scrambler. The rain gear was slid onto her body and the evidence tucked underneath as she stepped away, slipping from alley to alley. Normally she didn't take jobs with this little intel. It was simply too risky. One slip and her image would be captured. A good detective could work with that. It wouldn't be easy but it'd certainly venture into the realm of possibility. No, this was a rush job. There was very little in the way of pay. The nature of it also put her mood down.

I'm doing it for a good reason. Just got to remember that.

It took half an hour but she managed to reach the drop-off point. A dead drop. She took a look around to make certain that nobody was watching. Hidden behind a dumpster was a locked metal suitcase. She'd been given the combination. After opening it up she deposited the evidence, locked it up, and stored it right back where she'd found it. Then she simply turned and walked off. There was no looking into what it was, nor who it detailed. She didn't need to know anything about it, didn't even know who her exact employer was. All that was important to her was giving her parents some breathing room. They promised her that if she'd taken the job. Of course they knew she was good for it. Now it was simply a matter of seeing whether their word could be trusted.

Mission complete.

A cellphone was flipped out. She couldn't use it to call anyone but texting worked just fine. They'd made certain that it wouldn't be traced. After sending word that the package was delivered she snapped the phone in half and tossed each piece into separate dumpsters. No evidence would be left behind. She was, after all, a professional.

Time to go home and rest. I've still got school in the morning.

Location: Blackberry Falls airport and Twin Mill Motel.
Time: 18:24

Rayvenne lowered her phone from her ear, a light furrowing between her eyebrows as she looked at the screen as she pressed the hang-up button. She returned to her contacts menu, staring at the name of the man she had been trying to call since her plane had touched down but he had not been picking up. It could only mean that he was busy, which was irritating as she really needed to talk to him. Well, he would no doubt notice her missed calls when he was free, and call her back when he was able to. She just hoped he wouldn’t wait too long. She slipped her phone back into her pocket and raised her dark eyes to the luggage belt of the airport as the bags from her flight started moving by. Her lip curled a little as she felt people around her, nudging her slightly in their eagerness to grab onto their bags and to be gone. She had to put a lid on her irritation before she accidentally hurt someone, but it was hard as she hated being in such a crowded place. Things were a lot simpler back in the days in which she had been born. There wasn’t quite as many people, for a start. The crowds weren’t so big, nor so suffocating. Still, at least this crowd wasn’t intending any harm on her, so she could put up with the other downsides.

She spied her own luggage and pushed forwards to pick up the wheeled luggage bag. She put it down on the floor, shifting her shoulders which had the weight of her backpack pressing down on them. She extended the handle on her bag before she moved out of the crowd and headed to the desk where she could pick up the rest of her luggage. Her faithful companion, Raeghan. She approached the desk which was currently empty, causing a women to smile at her. Not bothering with the pleasantries, Rayvenne pulled out her wallet and produced her ticket and handed it over. The woman took the ticket and scanned it into her system before saying, “Just give me a moment, ma’am.”

Rayvenne didn’t say anything as she watched the woman disappear behind a door before coming back a few minutes later carrying a black pet carry bag which completely concealed the animal within. She put it on the counter, scanning the label in and confirming that the correct ticket holder had collected the bag. Rayvenne then took back her ticket, sliding it back into her wallet which she put away before grabbing the bag and walking off without so much as a thank you. The woman on the desk looked startled by her abrupt manner, frowning slightly before shrugging and turning to the next customer that approached her desk.

Rayvenne left through the front airport doors, glancing around and taking in her surroundings out of pure habit, before she turned and headed towards the large car park, moving between the lines of cars until she came to a stop in front of a rather plain looking black car. It looked unremarkable, and there were no personal belongings within it. Again, Rayvenne looked around her to ensure that no one was watching her, before she put the pet carry bag down and let go of the luggage. She moved to the drivers side and reached under the rim of the front wheel, her slender fingers groping for a few moments until they bumped against a small box tapped to the body of the car. She pulled it off and drew it out. She saw that there was a small keypad on the box, which she entered a four digit key into which unlocked the box. She opened it up, pulling out a set of car keys which she turned and used to unlock the car. She put her luggage in the boot, before putting the pet carry case in the front seat with her backpack on the floor in front of it. She then climbed into the driver's seat and started the car. She put on her seatbelt, before she drove out of the airport car park and drove through the busy streets of Blackberry Falls to a motel that she frequented whenever she was in Ashaea, the Twin Mill Motel.

She pulled up into one of the parking spaces, stopping the car and getting out. She went into the main office of the motel where she booked herself a room before she quickly retreated from the office. The man at the front desk, used to her abrupt manner, did everything she asked without so much as a whisper of small talk, knowing that she wouldn’t bother responding. Or, if she did, she would be quite cold and impersonal. It just wasn’t worth the effort. Rayvenne returned to her car, gathering all of her luggage and locking the car up again before she went to her room and unlocked it. She took everything inside, putting the pet carry case on the bed carefully before she turned and locked the door to the room before drawing the curtains close so that no one could see inside.

She shrugged off back backpack and put it in the arm chair before she went over to the bed and unzipped the front of the pet carry case, allowing a large black raven to hop out of it and to stride across the bed. It was unusual in that it had blood red eyes that observed the environment around him with a calculating gaze. The bird turned his head towards Rayvenne before ruffling his feathers before he began to speak, his voice like the cawing of the bird he appeared to be, “You know, I really hate having to travel like that. I would have rather flown.”

“I know, Raeghan. But since you’re no longer human, you can’t really have the same benefits as us ground dwellers.” Rayvenne answered, picking up her wheeled bag and putting it on top of the chest of drawers. She turned the television so that it was sideways on, so she could make more room for her bag. She never watched television anyway, so it wasn’t any kind of loss. There was a cawing behind her as Raeghan laughed, “That’s true. I guess there’s ups and downs to everything.” He said, before asking, “Have you contacted him yet?”

“No. Not yet. He seems to be busy. He’ll call back. He always does.” Rayvenne answered in a slightly distracted tone as she moved over to her backpack and opened it up to reveal various items, including some clothes. She reached into the back and pulled out a thin laptop before she moved over to the bed and sat herself down with her back against the headboard. She opened the laptop, glancing at Raeghan who was grooming his wing feathers, before she looked back at the device as she opened up the internet browser to look for any jobs going in the area. If Diomedes wasn’t going to call soon, she was going to need something to occupy herself with until he did.

Alvina scrunched up her nose slightly before her eyebrows knitted into a frown. She then sighed, as she didn’t quite get the score she was after on her game. She was having trouble passing this level of difficulty, and it was frustrating her. At least it was passing the time for her and keeping her occupied, even if it was beginning to piss her off. She closed her eyes, taking a few deep calming breaths before she opened her eyes and attempted again. However, halfway through she heard someone talking and she looked up, a little startled. She had been so engrossed in her game that she had not noticed the elven cowgirl walking down the corridor. She gave a small, shy smile as she lowered her phone slightly,

“Oh, hello Evelyn. Yeah, there’s an applicant in there. He wants to be left alone, though so I’m just guarding the door to make sure that no one enters.” Alvine replied, exiting the game app without saving her current progress. She noticed that Evelyn was carrying a book, but she wasn’t quite able to see what it was that she was reading. It looked to be some kind of academic book. Most likely far beyond Alvina’s reading level. She had seen some of the books that the elven cowgirl read, and was not afraid to admit that she was far smarter than herself. She then asked, more out of boredom than actual curiosity, “So what are you up to? Reading something interesting?”

*Evelyn noticed that Alvina was seemingly startled by her turning up here, being so engrossed in her game on her phone. She wondered what kind of game that was, to engross someone so much that it would take their attention away. Evelyn hated to sound like a old crone but it was a bit disappointing that the younger generation seemingly couldn't keep alert and be attentive. Then again, why would they need to in such seeming peaceful times...well, at least in this place? Of course, the game might indeed be that engrossing. Evelyn did not know but she wasn't here to for that. "I'm just having a little walk around, it would be a bit sad if I stayed cooped up in my study all day. It looks to be a nice day, after all." Evelyn replied to Alvina.  "As for the book, it's a recently published book of articles on the latest development of magical theory. I have to keep abreast of new developments in my field, even if I'm not doing active research at this current time." Evelyn said, as she showed her the book cover. "I only had this come in the other day and...apologies, I'm getting carried away!" Evelyn said to Alvina, realising that the girl wouldn't be that interested in the book.

Meanwhile, in the laundry, David had successfully finished washing his clothes in the washing machine and was now just loading the dryer. He hoped that it wasn't going to take long to do as he was feeling a bit awkward wandering around the laundry without any clothes on. After he loaded the dryer, he tried to activate the dryer and was having trouble getting it to work. This was odd as it was seemingly a very simple thing to do. He scratched his head, wondering what was going on before he turned towards the door and shouted, "Umm..can anyone hear me out there? There's something wrong with the dryer, can't seem to get it to work."

As Alez approached Mr. Enron's office, she could feel the presence of Cassandra's aura again. It had previously been drowned out by the demons', but she could now sense it and recognize it as the same odd feeling she'd gotten from the shady figure in the lobby. Was that figure related to these demons, or was it here because it knew something she didn't? Whatever the case, this aura certainly felt different. It wasn't the aura of a celestial, though, so it couldn't have been her requested reinforcements. Still, perhaps charging headfirst into a battle wasn't necessarily the best idea. For a moment, she considered stopping her advance and approaching this mysterious force, but Sam... No, she couldn't take any risks. She had to rescue that poor girl from whatever was happening. This was her own mistake that she'd caused. She had to fix it herself with as few third parties getting involved as possible.

As soon as she'd arrived at Mr. Enron's office, Alez could feel an intense anger filling her body upon the sight of the disgusting man. Unfortunately, this temporarily made her ethereal form impossible to maintain, and she reverted to her physical form. Despite her vulnerable state, she pointed the blade in her hand toward the man in front of her with gritted teeth. "Mr. Enron, I don't know what you did or how you did it, but I know you attacked Samantha! If you would go so far then I refuse to negotiate with you further! I will have Sam back!"

Location: A certain cafe. 3:45 PM.

The night before had been a complete success. It had to be. After all if it hadn't been then she probably would have been visited by some very unpleasant, very disgruntled people. Not that they could actually hurt her. Well, they could, but they'd find killing her difficult. But they knew where to hit her where it actually hurt. It was the only reason she'd even gone and done that job.

Her return home had been quiet. Dinner and a shower followed. An hour of studying for the next day's test. Then she'd gone to bed. Sleep went unhindered. If she remembered correctly Emi dreamed about relaxing on a beach. It had been quite pleasant. Awakening from her slumber brought her to breakfast, a quick shower, about an hour of studying, and finally out the door and off to class. Her typical white and red dress had been chosen for today's attire. In fact she chose it every day, provided of course that she'd managed to clean it the day before or, provided she needed replacement pieces, replaced said pieces.

School had gone well enough. There hadn't been anything of note. It was refreshing really. No bullies, no messages from certain unsavory characters, simply a boring day at school. Unfortunately it hadn't stopped raining. She had an umbrella, yes, but an unfortunate few lights had lead to her missing her bus home. Of course she didn't know initially. She'd actually arrived on time. However the bus had decided to come and go early. A few minutes after waiting for a bus she thought had been running late finally confirmed the problem at hand.

Emi had started to grow hungry. She'd wanted to go home to make herself some hot cocoa. But there was a cafe nearby, one she'd not visited before. Since it was raining maybe, just maybe, it'd be somewhat empty. Wouldn't that be nice?

When the little bunny entered the cafe she discovered that it was not in fact empty. Actually it was quite the opposite! There were plenty of people here. It was not an ideal situation but she'd already come. Why not try it out? Her umbrella was folded up and shaken at least a little drier at the door. Repeatedly she raised up onto her tippy toes, doing her best to search for an empty seat. Seconds later a family departed, opening an entire booth to her! And so with great haste she shuffled on over, scooting up into her new seat.

Feet idly kicked back and forth, not even touching the floor. It didn't take long for her to be approached by a waitress. The succubus who ventured over appeared to be, well, apathetic. Her face screamed neutral. It was amusing really considering that Emi wore the same sort of mask. Neutral buddies! Emi might have appeared pretty cute if she ever wore a smile, like some sort of super sweet hyper happy bunny. But she didn't need that sort of attention anyways.

A brief glance through her menu lead her to the beverages. She lifted it up, pointing towards the hot cocoa. Then she turned the page, searching for something to fill her belly. Toast with jam. That sounded lovely. Her finger was directed towards it. Then she settled down the menu, glancing up towards the waitress. At least she wouldn't need to worry about any sort of rude customer, right?

Location: Outside Laundry Room, Naughty Cow Dairy

When Alvina heard what the contents of the book was, she almost scratched her head nervously. She was correct; it certainly was beyond her reading level. While she had the ability of magic, she was very clumsy when it came to its application. The last time she had tried magic, it had some very unintended side effects. While it had been fun, it was not something she wanted to repeat. She even screwed up the most basic of spells, and had resigned herself to the fact that magic was just something she should not do. It made her wonder if there was something seriously wrong with her. She gave Evelyn a small smile, “Don’t worry about it. Magic isn’t exactly my thing. I don’t think I would understand you if you started getting carried away.” She said and while self-depreciating, it was quite true. Just anything magic just couldn’t hold in her mind, no matter how hard her mother had tried to teach her. The knowledge just disappeared. She had not performed a single successful spell. She then heard David’s voice from inside the room and she turned her head towards the door as he seemed to be asking for help.

“Sorry. Excuse me for a few moments.” Alvina said, slipping her phone back into her jean pocket before she knocked gently on the door in warning, “Alright, I’m coming in to help!” She said, hoping that he would get himself decent, or hidden at the very least. She opened up the door slightly and slipped into the room, resolutely keeping her gaze fixed on the floor as she closed the door behind her, “What’s the problem?” She asked him, hoping it was something that she could fix easily and thus be on her way quickly. Just knowing he was potentially naked made her feel weird, as she had never been around a man like this before.

*Mr Enron did not look surprised to see Alez appear seemingly out of thin air before him, holding some sort of sword at him. In fact, he didn't look that interested in Alez at all. He looked a bit preoocupied with something that was happening below his desk, which of course was in front of him. As it was one of those large office desks that had a backing to it, Alez would not be able to see what was underneath it. Though...from the sounds coming from underneath the desk, and Alez would be able to hear sounds coming from under the desk, it seemed that someone was under there. And the kind of sounds that where coming from under the desk, it sounded quite...slippery and wet? It certainly sounded like someone was sucking on..something down there. Of course, what Alez did not know was that Sam was underneath the desk sucking off Mr Enron for more of her ' yummies' and she was not in the mood to share. Strangely enough Mr Enron was keeping quite a poker face, despite being pleasured by Sam from under the desk. He just looked at Alez with the same kind of look one would give a particularly annoying insect or bug.*

"Is that all you have to say?" Mr Enron asked Alez. "I thought you were going to give me a talking down to or some moralizing speech. Not that I care but I figured you might want to say something more before these demons here make a meal out of you."

The three Pretas in the room, who were standing absent-mindedly in front of the desk before Mr Enron, turned to face Alez. They eyed Alez with their beady looking eyes for a few moments before letting out some sort of howl of delight.

"LOokY LoOky, fResH mEaT! yUm yUmS!" they seeemed to say before they started their attack, running awkwardly towards her. Fortunately for Alez, they were weak demons and could be dispatched of relatively easily if she focussed and didn't get too frightened. While they could scratch and bite her and other things, that wasn't so much a threat as if they managed to pin her down...

In the brief silence after Alez spoke, she could hear the sloppy noises coming from under the desk. Alez had no idea what these sounds were, but whatever they were, they made her quite uncomfortable. What made her more uncomfortable, however, were the grotesque-looking ghouls standing at the foot of Mr. Enron's desk that seemed to be eyeing her like some sort of meal. Were these the demons that had attacked Sam? Alez hadn't been trained in combat, so she didn't know exactly what these creatures were or how best to deal with them. For all she knew, they could have been much stronger than they appeared. But too much was on the line for her to cower and back down, now. This would never end the same way that village incident did, she was sure of it! She would prove that she could handle herself enough to be a pursuer. That she could save people from evils such as Mr. Enron and his horde of demons!

As each Preta approached her from the same direction in front of her, Alez was able to easily fend them off with a few slashes of her sword. The first received a slash across the torso, the second was decapitated, and the third impaled through the stomach. The moment a being is given a mortal wound with Caelisia's blade, rather than being killed, their soul would be transported to limbo for judgment. If there was any part of these creature's souls that longed for change, perhaps they would be granted that second chance they desired. However, given their enthusiasm to attack her, she doubted they would get much joy out of the result.

Indeed, she'd managed to defeat the demons without a scratch. Not that it was much of an accomplishment given their low status, but she was quite proud of herself and a bright, cocky smile spread across her lips. She had the advantage and Mr. Enron was all alone. The only way she was going to be stopped by these pathetic creatures is if they'd managed to surround her or sneak up on her while she's distracted. Alez wasn't exactly the most clever celestial and unfortunately couldn't sniff out an obvious trap if it slapped her in the face. Recognizing that Mr. Enron was now seemingly unprotected, Alez, filled with hatred toward the man, began to step toward her. However, as she walked, she could suddenly feel her own aura fading and she was reverting back into her physical form. She was too angry to maintain her ethereal form. This was bad, as she had no access to her Celestial abilities. Even her blade dissipated. But her anger wouldn't allow her to back down. All she had to do was bluff. She reached forward to grab Mr. Enron by the neck over his desk.

"Now then. If you know what's good for you, you will give Sam back and you will sell your disgusting business. By the end of the month. If you do not then, quite literally, there will be hell to pay."

*Unfortunately for Alez, as she closed in on Mr Enron who seemed to be alone, Mr Enron calmly rapped his knuckles of his right hand on the top of the desk and said the following. "Hey Sam, someone is here to take away your YUMMIES!" Mr Enron said as Alez closed in, pushing himself away from the desk using his feet. As he was sitting on one of those chairs with wheels, that wasn't hard to do. However, what happened next was going to be interesting. The instant Mr Enron pushed himself away from the desk, a naked figure arose from underneath the desk. It was Samantha, who looked a bit worse for wear and certainly smelt a bit sweaty. She didn't look relieved to see Alez and in fact did not seem to recognise Alez at all. In fact, she looked quite angrily at Alez, whom Mr Enron said was going to take away her precious YUMMIES. Speaking of yummies, Sam's face was dirtied by a fair amount of semen...as was her entire body but whose semen it was would be a mystery. It would be obvious to even Alez that Sam no longer recognised her as she said, "You! You're not taking away my YUMMIES!" Sam shouted at Alez in anger as she lunged at Alez with surprising speed and ferocity. "The yummies are mine, all mine! MINE!"

Mr Enron could not help but laugh at this strange situation as he watched Sam attack her supposed best friend for his sake. Well, it wasn't for his sake...it was really the Preta cum that did the work and he reaped the benefits. Sam would attack Alez until either she or Alez couldn't fight anymore or Mr Enron intervened. He could just sit back and watch this amazing display.

"Oh my, what a turn of events." Mr Enron said to no one in particular. "It appears Sam doesn't want to go back with you. Whatever shall you do?"

The sight of Sam in such a degraded state was a left Alez shook. "S-Sam...!"  She clasped her hands over her mouth. The poor girl had to have gone through so much... and worst of all, she seemed angry with her. At first, she'd assumed Sam felt betrayed. After all, it was partially Alez's own fault that Sam had been attacked.  "Oh no... Oh, Sam, I-I tried to help...!" She tried to explain, but the more Sam continued to glare at her and even began yelling, Alez realized that there was something much more horrific going on. "Sam...?" She took a step back.  "W-wait! It's me! Alez!" Her words didn't seem to mean much, however, as the girl seemed to lunge at her like some sort of crazed animal!

"Ah!" Alez exclaimed as she  was knocked to the ground by her own friend's attack. "Sam! Stop!!" What was she supposed to do? She couldn't fight her, she was supposed to protect her! She couldn't quite gauge how seriously Sam wanted to hurt her, but there was some serious hate here. If she didn't do something, she might get seriously injured! Knowing this, she decided she had to fight back without actually hurting Sam. She reached up and gripped the girl's shoulders as she began to wrestle with her, desperately trying to pin her down, or at least exhaust her, so that she could get to the bottom of what was happening.

*Whether Alez was going to get out of this or not would depend on her ability to keep calm and focus on the task at hand, not exactly an easy thing to do when a crazed human female, smelling of sex, is wrestling with you for no apparent reason. Though Mr Enron would have loved to watch what would happen, he had another meeting to go to and a rather important one at that. If he was late for THAT meeting...goodness, was it just him or did the room just chill over a bit? He knew that he had to get going, they wouldn't want him to be late and tardiness wasn't exactly his style. In fact, he was always just a bit early to meetings even in his younger days. Oh goodness, how time flies. As Mr Enron walked towards the door to his left, he was tempted to look back at Alez and Sam. Even if just to leave a final taunt...but he decided against it. He was just going to dump them like the trash he thought they were. He quickly opened the door and closed it behind him and ran down the corridor, towards the very back where the meeting was...which was the place where Alez had found the computer earlier.*

"My Yummies! yOu wOn'T hAvE tHem!" Sam managed to slur out as she continued to wrestle with Alez, getting slightly stronger as time went on. How?! Was...Was she changing?! And what into?

Alez noticed Mr. Enron making his escape and gritted her teeth in frustration. "Dammit!" She cursed to herself as she continued to wrestle with the girl she'd tried to save. "Sam! He's going to get away!" Her pleading proved to be no use, she just had to continue fighting with all of her physical strength, which, unfortunately, was extremely lacking in her flesh-and-blood form. To be frank, in this state, Sam probably would have been able to beat her in a hand-to-hand fight on her own. It was clear that this wasn't a fight Alez was going to win if she couldn't rein in her emotions. While she got more and more tired with each second, as any human would, Sam seemed to only get stronger and more ferocious. It seemed she couldn't talk her way out of it, either... was this how her story would end...?

"Y-you bastard!!" She cried out at Mr. Enron, who she could see leaving the room without a word. "You won't get away with this! C-Cealisia will punish you!!" Unfortunately, Mr. Enron's escape was the least of her worries at the moment. She had to think of something and fast if she was going to get Sam off of her. If she could just get away, maybe she could find some way to reverse whatever curse she seemed to be under. Try as she might, however, she was just too distraught to transform into her ethereal form. Thinking back at what she knew, it seemed that whatever was going on in Sam's head, she seemed to be fixated on only one motivation. Perhaps she could use that to her advantage. "S-sam! Don't you get it? He's tricking you! He's leaving you behind with me and he's going to take all of your yummies with him! You'll never have any again! Is that what you want!?" Using such a juvenile term was quite embarrassing, but hopefully by using the same term it would convince Sam that she was on her side.

*While Alez was struggling with Sam on top of her, someone else had entered the room from the door to the right. Cassandra only took a glance at the sitation at hand and seemingly got the gist of it from just that. From her perspective, there was a bystander being attacked by another who had just been repeatedly raped by Pretas (and perhaps others) and was starting to turn. She could tell that the one on top was starting to turn into a Preta as the poor girl's stomach started to radically distend and her face started to warp strangely. Cassandra knew what she had to do immediately, separate the two and dispatch the one that was turning. Unfortunately for the girl that was turning, there was little that could be done for her. From Cassandra could see, quite an amount of Preta semen had been ingested by this girl in quite a short amount of time. Knowing the effects of Preta semen, she knew that the girl, as Alez would have known her, was gone. There was nothing left to save...only a new demon to dispatch. Seeing that Alez was tiring, 'Sam' stopped attacking her and raised her head to let out a feral cry of victory. 'Sam' even let go of Alez's arms and now was just on top of her, seemingly basking in victory as the girl continued to change. Cassandra, who was not that far from them at the back of the room, would have to act quickly...and fortunately that was one thing she did exceptionally well. Cassandra knew that she could cover the distance easily enough but the question for her was, could her weapons come fast enough when called for in this world? Well, one way to find out. With one powerful and precise stride, she lept into action and covered the distance between her and her target quietly, while issuing a whisper of a prayer. Before she landed a step or two behind her target, she felt the familar weight of one of her swords in her right hand as it started to rapidly materialize in this world. Quickly gripping it with her right hand, she thrust her right arm forward as the rest of the blade materialized into the world, being plunged straight through Sam's back...through the girl's heart with the tip of Cassandra's blade jutting out of Sam's chest. Sam's body seized up as the blade pierced her body and her heart, blood starting to slowly seep out of the wound in her back and front. The being who was once Sam barely let out a gurgle as the blade was quickly pulled out and her body fell to the side, fortunately not on top of poor Alez.*

In the chaos of the moment, it was impossible for Alez to see the demon that Sam was being transformed into. It wasn't until she sat back that the celestial could see her new form clearly taking shape. Alez stared at her with a look of shock and horror. Right on top of her, she had transformed into one of those little gremlins of lust. But this was still Sam... right? Whatever the case, this made it clear what had to be done. Caelisia's blade was the perfect weapon to save her. It didn't harm mortals at all but could send demons inside of them to judgment. Perhaps it would have been capable of banishing this demonic form she'd been forced to take on, too. However, that was much easier said than done. She had exhausted herself too much wrestling with Sam and was completely at her mercy. Additionally, in her human form, she didn't have access to the blade. She was completely helpless to this demon's warped desires.

As she struggled under the weight of the creature, she suddenly felt the blood of her friend splattering her face as a sword was thrust through the girl's heart. Alez' eyes widened even more as she began to tremble. "Wh-what... why..." She stuttered in extreme disbelief as she pulled away to look down at the dead monster beside her. "N-no! No!! This wasn't supposed to be how it turned out at all!!" She looked up at Sam's killer with tears of frustration in her eyes. "What the hell! Why would you do that!? I could have saved  her!!" She didn't know who this person standing before her was. She was far too distraught to sense her aura. "I-I just... All I wanted- I-" She continued to trip over her words as a wave of guilt washed over her body while she stared down at the creature laying in a pool of its own blood.  "O-oh what did I do...?" She dropped to her knees and lifted Sam's body in her arms. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm so, so sorry..."

*Unfortunately for Alez, the assumption that there was 'something' left of Sam in that form that lay next to her was incorrect. There was nothing left of what was once the being known as Sam in that form, anything that could have been related to her was gone the moment the Preta semen concentration threshold was crossed...which was some time ago. Anything that made Sam 'Sam' such as her memories or personality was no longer there. Even evidence of a 'soul' was gone, replaced by a hole that could never be filled and that which Pretas aimed to satisfy. The curse of the Preta...to be forever in want of something and never to be satisfied no matter how much of it they had. Cassandra knew of that all too well, being well 'travelled' and seeing many worlds. Pretas were mere pests to demons though they were related and though mortals both feared and hate them, they could not deny a sickening similarity...both chasing their endless desires even to self destruction. Cassandra looked at the girl she 'saved', crying over the corpse of the demon she killed. She knew that there was no use trying to tell her that her friend was gone long before then, even if it was true. There was no use telling her 'saving' Sam was an impossibility as there was no 'Sam' there. There was no use telling this girl that 'the way things were supposed to turn out' was nothing but wishful thinking. The girl was obviously in no condition to be told such things and was most likely not interested in hearing what Cassandra had to say, even if it was the truth. So...what could Cassandra do? For the moment, Cassandra used her free hand to reach into a tool pouch on her waist and pulled out what seemed to be an ornate lighter. She opened the lighter, which self ignited and she brought it close to her bloodied blade. The blade seemed to catch on fire for an instant, the blood being burnt off and leaving the blade clean. She put the lighter back in her pouch and uttered a quiet prayer, causing her blade to de-materalize. It was then that the body that Alez was holding started to disintegrate into dust and then into nothing.*

Alez was taken by surprise when she felt the heat of fire from behind her. Fearing an attack, she quickly dropped Sam and spun around to see Cassandra's burning sword. Her heart skipped a beat for a moment as she thought she was in danger. She prepared herself to fight for an escape, though her distress still kept her bound to her flesh. Thankfully, it would seem that she misinterpreted the situation as the sword soon disappeared, not unlike her own could. Realizing she wasn't in danger, she turned to look at Sam again only to realize her body had disappeared completely. Her heart dropped at the sight of the pile of ash on the floor. If there was any room for doubt before, it was clear now that there was no saving Sam. What did this mean for her? Would Caelisia ever allow her to roam the earth again? Would she lose her status as a scout? She couldn't return to Coelis like this...

After a few moments of silence, Alez turned to face the mysterious woman. There was clearly more to this person than met the eye. The question was, could she be trustworthy? Why was she here? Where did her powers come from?  "Are you... part of Cealisia's troop?"

*Cassandra watched as Alez seemed to be frightened by what she was doing and saw her drop Sam, who was starting to disintegrate and turn to face her. It was not Cassandra's intention to cause the poor girl more stress but she did need to clean her weapon and prepare herself for the next battle ahead. Perhaps she should have done something less frightening now that she thought about it but as always, insight from hindsight means little for that which has happened already. She could see that the girl looked rather downheartened as she saw her attacker's body had disintegrated completely. Now, it appeared that this girl and her attacker had a previous relationship of some sort though Cassandra could not be sure what. Not that it would have helped at the time, the Preta that the other was turned into would have killed this girl if or worse if she did nothing. So, no time or point for regret now. Now, as the girl seemed to understand that Cassandra was not going to attack her, the girl seeemed to want to talk. The girl asked her if she was part of Caelisia's troop. Now Cassandra was new to this universe and had not heard of this Caelisia but it didn't mean she could not find out. She had means to find such information out, which could just be basic intel for now.*

"No, I am not part of Caelisia's Troop." Cassandra replied plainly but in a gentle voice. "Should I assume you might have some relation to them?"

So she's not affiliated with Caelisia... This alone made Alez wary of the stranger. Sure, she'd just saved her life, but she knew the manipulative ways of her enemies. How could she know this person wasn't just trying to trick her into siding with her? Beyond that, she'd attacked Sam with so little hesitation, so she could hardly believe this woman could be righteous... However, in the moment, she didn't seem particularly hostile toward her, so perhaps it was best to try and remain civil and exchange information.

"I am a scout of Caelisia's troop, I've requested reinforcements but they haven't appeared at all..." She spoke softly as she gripped her upper arm. However, now that she'd volunteered information, it seemed only natural to ask a question in return. "If you aren't with Lady Caelisia, then what is your purpose here? Are you some sort of vigilante?"

*Now David was attempting to hide himself on the other end of the room, behind one of the washing machines. Since his clothes were in the dryer, he wasn't 'decent' but naked. This wouldn't ordinarily be a problem if he was at home but he wasn't, he was in a workplace and having a girl come in the same room with him was strange. Anyway, he tried to keep calm and hidden on Alvina would not see him naked. As he hid behind the washing machine, hopefully out of Alvina's line of sight, he told her what he knew about what was going on. "Well, I put the clothes into the dryer, tried to start it but the display brought up an error code and started beeping. I don't have that model or brand of dryer at home so don't know what's wrong." He also did not where the manual was and if there was one, so he could not just get the manual and try to figure it out. Anyway, as he did, he could feel himself getting a bit more aroused since a cute girl had entered the room. This was odd as he would normally be too stressed to be horny. Now, this was probably more of the effects of the milk he drank earlier, apparently he was more effected by it than others.*

*Cassandra was used to been treated with suspicion, even back in her 'home' universe which she created. She couldn't exactly blame the girl for being suspicious, if her reaction was anything to go by. It seemed the demon she killed was someone she had a relation with, not that it helped at the time. She wasn't about to hold a grudge against the girl for...holding a grudge against her for that reason. There was no point in that sort of thing, in Cassandra's mind. Sure, one might feel better hating and blaming someone else for a death of someone you care about but it didn't change the fact that they were dead. What Cassandra didn't know was that Alez only knew Sam for a few hours previous to her death and had some responsibility in getting her in this situation. Then again, even if she did know that, Cassandra would not be prepared to judge her. That was never her job, even as a creation god. Anyway, what point was there in judging Alez for what she did or did not do? It wasn't like her judgement was somehow binding on all or important in any way. Even as a creation god, her judgement on things didn't matter as much as mortals thought it did....that is, if mortals were interested in it in the first place. From her experience, mortals were primarily interested in finding rationalizations for what they believed already or what they sorely wanted to be true to fit in to other people whose beliefs matched their own or who seemed to accept them (regardless of anything else). Now, when Alez asked her what her purpose here was, it was a relatively simple answer. Alez had partly given her an easy response, in calling her a vigilante. Anyway, no one would believe her real story and how she wound up here.*

"In a way, I guess I am a vilgilante." Cassandra answered simply. "I'm here to get some answers off Mr Enron, whom I assume you are here to see. They're been dealing with things beyond them and I'm afraid that might be the end of them."

Alvina remained where she was until David had explained the problem to her. Unconsciously, she glanced up but lowered her gaze again. But she then looked back up as she realised that while she could hear David, she couldn’t see him. She couldn’t help but to let out a sigh of relief because otherwise she doubted she would have been able to help her, because she was too distracted being embarrassed. She wasn’t like her mother, who seemed to have a towering confidence. She was quite shy, and what made it even worse was that she was still fully clothed. She certainly wouldn’t refuse David, if he asked, but she herself wouldn’t ask. She was too shy to. Especially when David had far more interesting women to ask, such as her mother or even Evelyn outside. Why would he even look at her in that manner?

“I-I’ll try and look at it.” Alvina stuttered before clearing her throat and moving over to the dryer where she saw the clothes. Since there were other dryers, she figured that he had attempted to use the others with a similar success rate. She looked up at the screen and saw that he had not set the program before setting it off, “Oh. I think I see what went wrong. You didn’t set the program properly. Are your clothes cotton, or synthetic materials?” She asked, sounding a little more relaxed now that she was concentrating on the problem, rather than the naked man.

The woman's vague response only flustered Alez even more. However, this woman also clearly knew more about the situation than she did. Perhaps she would make a useful ally despite her vague 'I-guess-I-am-a-vigilante' status. It did seem like this person didn't have any interest in picking a fight with her, so Alez finally began to lower her guard somewhat. She was still ready to move if necessary, but she didn't see any reason to expect an attack. It was an odd situation, though. She'd never met a divine, or divine-like, entity that was in such a... gray area. It was usually really simple: they were either celestials or demons... right? Yet, this person before her certainly wasn't a celestial, but also seemed to be fighting the demons...

Alez let out a soft sigh. After lowering her guard, she was able to focus her emotions again. If necessary, she would be able to transform back into her ethereal state. However, she decided that it was best to stay in her human form for now. Such a surprise may be necessary in case she was wrong about being allies.  "I'm sorry for yelling at you just now... that was really improper of me, I just lost it... but the important thing is that whatever is going on here needs to stop before more innocent people like Sam get hurt..." She tried to rationalize herself as best she could, hoping to find some form of common ground. "You seem to know a lot about what that 'whatever' is... I think I have an idea, but perhaps we could exchange some information to get a bigger picture?" She could only hope that this woman didn't already have all the information she needed to know, but considering she was seeking answers from Mr. Enron, there were clearly some blanks that needed to be filled. "Sorry, I didn't introduce myself. My name is Alez." Her introduction was a bit awkward and tacked on as she had only just remembered that the two didn't know each other's names yet. Exchanging names should have been the first step...

*Cassandra looked at the girl lowering her guard as the girl realised that Cassandra was not a threat. That was a good sign, as least she wouldn't have to fight again so soon. Cassandra felt she was going to need whatever energy she could have in reserve for what she suspected was up ahead. She hoped that her suspicions were wrong though, as she didn't think she could look after another life if she was forced into battle. Cassandra felt she had enough trouble looking after her own life, let along someone else's...not that her own life mattered. When Alez apologised about getting emotional over Sam's death, Cassandra just accepted it. What a strange reaction to a death of someone that was meant to be close to this one? Perhaps the girl was not telling her everything. It didn't bother Cassandra though, it was really none of her business and she wasn't about to pry into Alez for that.*

"Don't worry about it, it's perfectly understandable." Cassandra replied, not asking Alez about her reaction or her suspicions. There was little time for that now. "But yes, we need to get to Mr Enron first so we can shut down their little operation."

*While Cassandra wasn't exactly here for Mr Enron specifically, she knew that it would be a good thing to stop them as she got on with her investigations. Which reminded her...she wondered if what she was looking for had formed an Avatar yet? It was most likely the case they had and that was most likely what Mr Enron was communicating with.*

"Yes, we can exchange information on the way. I'm here because I found out Mr Enron's been conscripted by some force to spread despair and misery the way they know how for their own benefit."

As if her introduction wasn't awkward enough on its own, it seemed this woman chose to ignore it completely, leaving Alez in the dark as to whether or not she so much as caught her name. She still didn't know what to call this woman, either. If they were going together, she would at least have to come up with something. Now that the tension had died down a bit, Alez was able to get a better look at the blonde woman. She was certainly rather beautiful, a stark contrast from those demons they'd just fought. It reminded her of the other celestial women she'd encounter in Coelis. Still, she knew that demons had a tendency to make themselves look extremely attractive for the purpose of getting their prey to open up their vulnerabilities. However, those demons had a tendency to dress more provocatively. This woman seemed more intent on laying low. While pleasant to look at, Cassandra's face really didn't hide any clues as to just who she was or what her motivations were, just that she looked serious and determined.

Well, she did suggest that they could exchange information 'on the way,' so maybe she would learn more about her in that time. "Right... on the way... well, I can't imagine Mr. Enron could have gotten too far by now. I think I can help you find wherever he fled to faster."

*It was only then that Cassandra realised that she had forgotten to introduce herself, which was considered normal manners or protocol. While she didn't usually care one way or another about niceities like that as she could ill afford them, there was something about Alez that made Cassie reconsider remaining unknown to her. It also helped that it was most likely the case that they would need to fight together soon so at least being on some grounds of familarity would be advantageous. Though for Cassandra, working alone had its benefits even if she didn't like it. For one, at least no one would seemingly care if she died and that she wouldn't have someone else's death on her conscience. Clearing her throat, she looked at Alez and started to speak.*

"Alez...you said your name was? I apologise for not introducing myself earlier, I'm not actually used to doing so. Please excuse my rudness My name is Cassandra though you can call me any variation of that." Cassandra replied. "Now, as you were saying, you were suggesting you could track him down faster?"

*Now Cassandra was wondering what the woman could mean by what she said. She looked human but by the sounds of it, this Alez might not be human. It didn't bother Cassandra one bit though, she wasn't really human herself...or mortal for that matter.*
