Areum smiles at her little triumph and waits as Seha grabs his earbuds. 

"That's exactly where we're going," she nods, leading the way. Even twenty feet away, the smells of warm, tasty food come wafting out of the cafeteria and she becomes considerably more excited about dinner. 

"Don't get lost," she warns teasingly as she grabs a plate and starts putting food on it. Once she's finished, she goes by the water fountain to fill herself a glass of ice water as she waits for him.

As they neared the cafeteria, the scent alone made his mouth water. He had culinary skills that could trump this if he was trying, but he didn't often feel the motivation.

He follows her lead, taking a plate and putting a moderately small amount to food on his plate. He sits down against a wall not too far from the fountain before beginning to slowly eat his fold

Areum is a bit surprised to see Seha sit down by the wall, but she follows suit, sitting down beside him as she begins eating her dinner. Once she starts eating, she realizes that she was actually a bit hungry. Nevertheless, she tries to keep the conversation going without embarrassing herself by stuffing her face.

"What do you think?" she asks curiously, wondering whether he likes the food. Though she knows it's definitely not gourmet, but it's pretty decent considering that it's school food.

The get a couple of surprised glances as they sit and eat side by side, mostly towards Seha, who is never seen out at this time. He pays no attention to the people's remarks, but he glances towards Areum as she asks her question

"It's good. Better than what I've been making lately..."

He takes a bite of a roll to keep him from needing to talk anymore for a bit, hoping to make conversation as minimal as possible. But with Areum, that doesn't seem like it's going to happen anytime soon

Areum is absolutely determined to keep him talking. If there's one thing she can be horrible at, it's giving up.

"Eh?? You make food? Hm...Maybe we can do a potluck sometime!" Areum can cook a bit, but she's better at pastries than savory dishes. You can't - or at least, you shouldn't - make a meal of desserts, which is why she hasn't had many chances to cook at school.

"I think Mina can cook...but I remember Jisu doesn't. Well, she can bring drinks," Areum muses aloud.

"I'd... Rather not..."

He looks down at his food before glancing up to see that Mina and Jisu were walking towards them with plates of food.

He decides to try and shut his mouth by continuing to slowly eat, but he had run out of food pretty soon. He cursed himself for not getting anymore food and makes a perfect Frisbee throw of his plate into the garbage, followed by a fork

Areum looks a little put out by his refusal, but there's nothing time and her stubbornness can't change! Or at least...that's what she hopes. It's certainly worth a try, and she knows for sure already that she will be trying.

She waves as her friends arrive and sit with them, though it looks as if Seha is getting a bit agitated. "Do you have to go?" she asks, not wanting to be impinging on his time. Nor does she want to keep him if she's making him feel uncomfortable, though that possibility miffs her slightly.

"Nah, I can be a normal person for a day"

Seha chuckles softly as he makes his remark, leaning against the wall and listening to the music pumping into his ears. He stares off into the distance, but keeps one war open just in case she decides to try and engage him in conversation

Only a moment later, his fingers begin to tap the linoleum floor to the beat of a song he's listening to, but his mouth remains tightly closed.

Areum frowns, momentarily concerned that he was offended by her suggestion. Luckily, she relaxes slightly as he chuckles and listens to music without leaving their group.

She turns her attention back to her friends but only gives them half her attention, the other half dwelling on Seha as he taps on the floor. Finally, she decides that she's more interested in getting to know her newest friend - since she already considers Seha as such.

"What are you listening to?" she asks with a smile as she edges closer to him, already picking up the loose earbud and just barely resisting the temptation to invite herself to listen.

"It's basically just meme-ish music... The band is called Ninja Sex Party"

He watches her pick up the earbud, which he always kept spotless and free of any earwax. He nods for her to put it in her ear to listen to a song called Everybody Shut Up, which was one of his favorite songs by them.

"M-Meme music?" Areum murmurs inquisitively, slowly slipping the earbud into her ear as she listens. The confusion on her face only becomes more evident as she suddenly giggles nervously, not sure what she's hearing but feeling oddly amused by it.

"Huh...Now I know what kind of music you like," she says with a slow nod, a little tickled to hear something so blatantly inappropriate. She listens to the end with wide eyes, chuckling softly every few seconds as she adjusts to it.

"I have a wide variety of genres that I listen to. This just happens to be one of them"

He gives a nervous chuckle before switching the song to a more mellow and appropriate song. Sound of Silence by Simon and Garfunkel. He hums to the quick pace of the deep song, enjoying the gentle sound swimming through his ears

Areum's clear cerulean eyes turn on him as she giggles involuntarily at his shyness. "I-It's...I like it," she smiles with a slight flush on her cheeks.

She's surprised to realize that she actually knows the next song, though she hopes he didn't change the theme of the type of music he was listening to, just because she was listening with him. Some surprise registers in her gaze when she notices that he's humming along this time. She slowly closes her eyes, listening to both the song and his voice, which sounds better than she would have expected. Without noticing, she starts to hum along, harmonizing with him.

About halfway through the song, Seha realizes that Areum had begun to hum with him, and the corners of his mouth pull up into a soft smile. He leans his head against the wall and closes his eyes as well, continuing to him along with her as the music plays.

A strange feeling sparks inside of his chest, a warmth spreading through his entire body that makes his heart race and his body tingle slightly. He glances over at her to see her caught up in the moment. Such a carefree girl, now isn't she? Seha wished that he could be like that, to not have a care in the world when nothing mattered. He gives a small, content sigh before looking at the slowly emptying cafeteria

Areum continues humming, loving the sound of their voices mixing together. A good harmonization always sends chills down her spine and really, Seha sounds so good. His humming is unexpectedly soothing, making her feel almost as if she could be comfortable to fall asleep like this, even if she's sitting on the cafeteria floor.

She remains deeply immersed like this until the end of the song, when she finally opens her eyes and stares into his. "That was pretty good, wasn't it?" she beams up at him. "Well...I mean, you were," she amends her statement. Despite her apparent confidence, she doesn't really think of herself as someone who understands music particularly well. Nor does she try to paint herself as one, but she loves experiencing music in its own right.

As the sing comes to a close, he listens to her praise that brings a slight blush to his cheeks. He closes his eyes and his brows furrow in and attempt to not make eye contact with her and let her see the full extent of his embarrassment.

"Th-thanks... You sounded good, too."

He notices that Jisu and Mina were watching them, obviously having heard the harmony of their humming, which was perfectly on key for the both of them. He shakes his head and smiles softly down at the floor

Areum smiles warmly at Seha, seeing him so shy. "A-Ah, is that so?" she stammers, pleased and a little flustered at his reply and a bit surprised to realize how flustered his compliment makes her. "Thanks..."

She follows his gaze to notice the other two girls looking at them. "Wasn't that good?" she demands impulsively, also to make them stop sending meaningful side glances to one another. She has a vague feeling just what they might be thinking, and it wouldn't be the first time they tried to hint at something like that, either.

"Yeah, it was really nice," Jisu agrees as Mina flashes them a double thumbs up, one for each of them. 

"See?" Areum turns back to Seha, happy to let him know that her friends thought he was good, too.

He decided to retreat before he made things anymore awkward than they already were, carefully taking the earbud in Areum's ear and standing. He stretches his back and pops it before looking down at them.

"Have a good night, you guys"

Areum blushes, feeling almost a spark of electricity run through her as his hand comes close to her to take his earbud. 

She tries to smooth down her hair casually, pretending nothing happened as she smiles up at him. 

Good night, Seha, she says cheerfully and the two girls echo her.

He smiles at all of them before walking off, heading straight to his dorm room. When he gets there, he closes his door, stripping and slipping into some sweatpants before lying on the bed above the sheets and blanket. He immediately falls asleep, thinking about the past day that brought a smile to his lips once more.

He awakes in the morning, wondering whether or not he should get out of bed. He sighs softly and rolls onto his back, staring at the ceiling for what seemed like an eternity as he pondered whether or not to leave the room

Areum glances at her friends as if nothing out of the ordinary had occurred. "I've gotta go," she says casually as she grabs her backpack and heads back to her dorm room. She considers doing a little more homework but decides it would be more productive to wake up early and work on it. As a result, she takes a shower to unwind and dims the lamp by her bed as she does a little nighttime reading. Finally, she turns off the lamp and shuts her eyes, drifting into a pleasant sleep. 

When she wakes up in the morning, she jumps out of bed to motivate herself to get moving. She quickly splashes some cold water onto her face and then puts on a t-shirt and shorts as well as her phone and earbuds as she heads outside for a quick morning run.

Eventually, Seha forces himself out of bed, slowly getting clothed and grabbing his phone, ear buds and a book before slowly making his way to the library. He sits in one of the comfortable chairs, pulling his knees up to his chest and plugging in his ear buds before opening his book.

About an hour passes before he looks up at the clock and realizes that he has little under ten minutes before he needed to be in class. He stands and starts walking, sliding his book into the backpack that he had brought with him

Once Areum has gotten herself fully awake, she heads back to her dorm for a quick shower and heads out to class, deciding she's ahead enough on her homework anyway. Instead, she hurries off to class, wondering what Seha will be like today. She hopes that he's warmed up a bit more to their group and that they've made some progress since yesterday. Even if they haven't, though, she fully intends to persist stubbornly until he lets her in.

When she arrives in class, she makes for her usual seat next to Jisu and Mina, chatting with them as she glances around the room, trying to see if Seha has arrived yet.

Seha walks in a bit after Areum, giving her a small, exhausted smile as he catches her looking around for him. He sits in the empty seat next to her, his ear buds blanking the girls' conversation out of his ears as the bell rings

He looks between the females, but the turns his attention to his music, closing his eyes and feeling the beat of the instruments pulsing through his ears

Areum can't suppress her smile as Seha meets her eyes and sits down beside her. She mouths a hello and watches as he listens to his music, not wanting to push him to interact with them if he doesn't feel like it quite yet.

Even though the bell already rang, she picks up the other earbud with a bright smile, holding it just near her ear and looks at him questioningly, silently asking whether she can listen in with him again. This time, though, of course she has no intention of starting to hum in the middle of class.
